STEP BY STEP IN KNOWING THE LORD INTIMATELY.

Genesis 28:12-13;

_"And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it. And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed;"_

Key Message: Our knowledge of God is the vital pre-requisite in determining our relevance in the kingdom.

God's ultimate desire is for every of His children to know Him Intimately. If your knowledge of God is limited to what the Fathers say about Him, you'll be limited in destiny. Jacob must have had about the God his grandfather and father served.

Isaac didn't limit his knowledge on what Abraham told him about the God he encountered in Haran. He experienced him when the angel spoke to his Father from heaven at Mount Moriah. It was an awesome experience. However, he didn't stop there. He created a platform to know the Lord on His own.

His intimate knowledge of God was the reason why he abandoned his plan to move down to Egypt according to God's instruction during the time of famine in Gerar. Gen.26:1-6

In order for God to continue what He has begun in Abraham and Isaac in Jacob, it was very important for him (Jacob) to know the Lord. God appeared to him the first time he was left alone, he saw him from afar but there was ladder that determine how many steps he needed to climb to be intimated with the Lord.

Jacob appreciated the encounter by demarcating a stone to remember the spot. He prayed a baby prayer like some of us. If God will bless me and supply all my needs where I will go, I will return to this altar to serve this God. God's appearance is not to majorly change things for us but to change things in us.

Jacob lacked spiritual understanding on how to enter the dimensions of economy of God by His appearance. He then suffered for 21 years to learn what he had failed to learn in one day.

You see, we can't boast of knowing the Lord if He has not dealt with us. God's dealing with us is what furnishes our understanding of Him accurately. Jacob suffered for that long to learn the principle of absolutely depending on God. At first Rebekah his mother was his backbone. Now it was Laban his uncle playing God over his life.

The next time God appeared to him he quickly grab it because he has learnt to be sensitive to divine instruction. God delivered to him the formula that transformed Laban's wealth to him. He believed it by applying it as instructed and his life experience supernatural turnaround.

It is always good we develop hunger to grow in knowing the Lord than to allow circumstances and hardship to force us to know Him. I pray the Lord will deliver you from spiritual ignorance causing you to be suffering unnecessarily in Jesus name.

ASSIGNMENT

Mention what you must be doing this year to upgrade your knowledge of God.

PRAYER

_Father, quench my thirst to pay the price of knowing you this year._

THE KINGDOM BUILDERS PT. 2

1 Corinthians 3:9-10;

_"For we are laborers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building. According to the grace of God which is given unto me, as a wise masterbuilder, I have laid the foundation, and another buildeth thereon. But let every man take heed how he buildeth thereupon."_

Key Message: The reconfiguration of our spiritual status lies in our commitment to see His kingdom built.

There are two major tasks in God's kingdom which is expected to be executed by every kingdom's citizen. The first task is kingdom advancement prayer and the second is soul winning.

Jesus taught us to pray the way He prays. The major request in the context of the prayer is 'thy kingdom comes'. *Mat.6:9-10* The ideas behind the kingdom is refer to a colony domiciled by a king. Adam lost the kingdom to Satan and Satan lost it to Jesus.

The full expression of our destiny can only be fully realised in Christ Jesus. When we are out to seek for the advancement of the kingdom we are indirectly doing ourselves a favour to discover ourselves in Him.

That is the reason why Jesus instructed us to seek first His kingdom and every other things shall be added. You see, what is lost in the garden of Eden is kingdom not things. God created things before man to be enjoyed by him, when man lost the kingdom he automatically lost those things.

It's a subtle device of the enemy for a man to live his entire life on the earth in pursuit of things. The greatest achievement such man will have will only manifest in the physical realm.

The injunction of John the beloved in 1John 2:15-16 says we should not love the world and the things of the world. He concluded it by saying the world and its lust will soon fade away. What he was saying in essence is that all your fat bank account, your children, spouse and properties you delighted so much will soon fade away.

It will totally be a waste to live our entire life on the flesh. We must learn to live a fulfilled life by investing on the one that is more real than the one we live now.

An act of labouring in the kingdom is to add value to the kingdom and that should be done with a right and knowledgeable heart. I pray the Lord will grant you understanding in Jesus name.

ASSIGNMENT

_Be committed to the work of righteousness and consciously invest your best to see the kingdom advancing._

PRAYER

_Father, help me to live an impactful live worthy of your commendation._

RECEIVING THE MINISTRY OF THE WORD.

James 1:21;

_"Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls."_

Key Message: The more we received from the Lord, the more we become fruitful and empowered to dominate circumstances of life.

God's Word must be received in your heart before it can physically deliver in your hands. The condition of our heart is what validates the authenticity of our reception.

God's Word must be received with meekness of the heart before it can be productive. Meekness is one of the fruits of the spirit. It's a virtue that enhances revelation and positions man to be continually guided by the Holy Ghost. The scripture says _"The meek will He guide in judgment"_Psa. 25:11.

Jesus' parable in *Mat. 13:1-8* revealed distinctly different conditions of men's heart in relation to God's Word. According to the parable, the Sower which represents Christ is always out to sow the seed of the Word into man's heart, unfortunately some of the investment lack returns because the ground which represents the heart of man is infertile except the one fall on the good ground.

We're undoubtedly in the era of the Word and strong manifestation of the Spirit in the body of Christ but spiritual surgery must be performed in men's heart for the heavenly reality to be imported into the heart of men.

God's eternal solution is to turn every hardened heart to the heart of flesh. The Holy Ghost will work on our heart to turn the heart of the son to the father but we must learn to value, honour and tremble at God's Word.

If we truly receive God's word with meekness we can not take it for granted or allow it to slip away. Our entire life must depend on it for instruction and direction. Our heart must always be prepared in righteousness to receive from the Lord. Every weight and beset sin must be dealt with because a new wine must always be taking into new bottle.

I pray you will never take the word for granted henceforth.

ASSIGNMENT

Be determined to live a sanctified life and spend quality time to study, listen and meditate on God's Word every day._

PRAYER

Father, deliver me from hardened heart and grant me a heart receptive to your word according to your words in Eze. 36:26-27_

THE KINGDOM BUILDERS

Matthew 16:18;

"And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, AND UPON THIS ROCK I WILL BUILD MY CHURCH; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it."

Key Message: The pathway to the fulfilment of our glorious destiny in the kingdom depends on our commitment in building with Him.

The epistle of Paul in *Romans 8:30;* makes us to understand that every child of God has a glorious destiny in the kingdom.

"Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified."

Jesus Christ is the master builder and we have been called to be His associates in building the kingdom. Jesus said in Matthew 12:30; _"He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad."_

You can't be in the kingdom idle. It's either you are building by contributing your own quota according to God's grace upon your life or you are destroying by looking for opportunities to cause discord among the brethren.

Also, you can't add value to the kingdom beyond the level of your spirituality. Apostle Paul rebuked the Corinthians Church because of their immaturity in the Spirit.

1 Corinthians 3:3;* *_"For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?"_

You see, the kingdom business can not be handled by babes. There is a peak of spiritual maturity we must attain before the real cause of the kingdom could be committed in our hand.

We can't actually do anything successfully in the kingdom unless we are empowered to do it. Our heart for God is what attracts us to God's grace to do the impossible.

Sanballat and Tobias ridiculed Nehmaiah and other volunteer-builders of the broken wall of Jerusalem because they knew the project was beyond them. But when they observed their progress, they began to look for a way to hinder the work.

The most difficult people to handle in the kingdom are religious Christians who decide to remain babies. It is too dangerous when citizens of the kingdom refuse to grow spiritually.

We all have a mandate to build long with Christ. That is why it's very imperative we subject to His Lordship by being clothed with humility to regard His leading and direction per time. I pray the Lord will help you to be a wise builder indeed.

ASSIGNMENT

_Be committed to whatever you're doing to add value to God's kingdom on the earth. The most valuable sacrifice before God is our commitment to see souls saved._

PRAYER

Father, empower me afresh with the spirit of love to keep adding value to your kingdom by being faithful to the great commission._

RESTORING THE PRAYER MINISTRY OF THE CHURCH.

Acts 1:14;

_"These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren."_

Key Message: The skeletal functions of the Church can only be properly furnished by restoring the prayer ministry to the Church.

The Church can be existing as long as we want but she can only be alive and on fire by the prayer of the saints. The evidence of God's presence in the temple was what made Solomon's building unique. Immediately he backslided and forsook God, the temple remained a mere structure because of the absence of God's presence.

The first Church was giving birth to at the Pentecost by prayer. She was preserved by prayer and exploded by prayer. If we remove the prayer ministry from the Church, she will become an ordinary structure like Solomon's building.

Solomon took his time to construct the temple of God in Jerusalem. He carefully selected golden and expensive tools to furnish it. God complimented his efforts and gave him His presence.

The last day Church must learn from this and prepare the best place for God in our hearts. Our body must also be modified through the sanctification of the Spirit to offer acceptable sacrifice to the Lord.

Every believer has been called primarily into the prayer ministry of the Church. 2 Corinthians 5:18; says,

"And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;"

We have a divine assignment of partnering with God to reconcile the world back to Him and this can only be possible by acquainting ourselves in fellowshipping with Him .

The soul winning ministry of the Church will only thrive on prayer. The strength of the last day Church lies on her ability to travail in prayer. The platform of prayer is heaven's arrangement to restored us back to Eden where immortality interacted with mortality to birth the supernatural.

If the first Church could not survive without prayer and the first Apostles summited to it to sustain the Church there is no other way we can survive without it. The civilization of this world can not change the ordinances of heaven because the heavens rule the earth.

It's my prayer this morning that the Lord himself will restore his church back to where she belongs in this generation.

ASSIGNMENT

_Pray for fresh baptism of fire and revival to the body of Christ in this nation and all over the world._

WINNING PRAYER (Pt 3)

The Warfare Aspect Of Prayer

Ephesians 6:12;

"For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places."

Key Message: Our combat is not with any human being. Our combat is with the prince of the air that rules people's feelings and fills them with fear.

We can never be a match to the devil if the strength of our spirit man is not greater than the capacity of our will and emotions. Proverbs 24:10; says _"If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small."

The time of adversity is the time the devil uses to manipulate circumstances around you in order to put you on a threat to forsake the place of prayer. It is only a mature Christian with a vast spiritual understanding that can win a warfare prayer.

One of the vital principles you must observe when engaging warfare prayer is that you must not stop until you obtained the desired results. The wall of Jericho was encompassed about seven times in seven days before it fell flat. Josh.6:15-20

Also in Act 12:1-5; when Peter was apprehended by Herod the scripture says _"prayer was made without CEASING of the church unto God for him." It is very important we master an act of warfare in the body of Christ because we can not build a condusive spiritual atmosphere until we have successfully demolished the demonic altars within our territory. We have been called not only to build but to also destroy. Jer.1:10

Jesus is ever committed to build His Church and for us to be a competent associate builder, we must learn an act of prayer of faith to disarm all resistances of the devil to the gospel in our territories.

Our prayer must be word based not feeling based. Our mind must be trained to rely absolutely on the Word not moving to and fro. One thing the devil fears the most is authority.

After the resurrection of Jesus, the Master declared _"All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth."Matt. 28:18. He then authorized the disciples to go out to the world to take charge. The church has the authority. We must lean on this to dislodge all the fiery darts of the enemy. This will become possible when we learn an act of warfare prayer. I pray God will give you understanding in Jesus name.

ASSIGNMENT

Stand in gap for the lost souls in your territory and pray for their salvation.

PRAYER

Father, open my eyes of understanding to recognize and take my place in you.

WINNING PRAYER (Pt 2)

Praying Well and Speaking Right.

Mark 11:23;_

"For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; HE SHALL HAVE WHATEVER HE SAITH."

Key Message: Spirituality is an act that must not only be cultivated in praying but must also be enforced in speaking.

Prayer is an act of communicating to God while speaking is a act of exercising spiritual authority. What we say is more powerful than what we pray. Our prayer requires God's permission for answers. However, our speaking invokes spiritual forces for victory.

Praying and speaking is a spiritual act and that is why we must not only learn to be effective in prayer, we must also learn to be disciplined in speaking.

Jesus said we will have whatever we say. The words of a spiritual man is effective and powerful like God's word. Jesus made us to understand that we can speak to the mountain the way God speaks to it and have the same result by the effect of faith.

Believers are God's mouthpiece , that is why we must not be careless in our communication. If the devil can not stop you from praying, he will attempt to destabilize your emotions to speak contrary to the spiritual seeds you have sown in prayers.

The scripture says out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. *Mat.12:34* If your heart is not right with God, you will continue to pray victory and speak defeat. The first Israelites that were saved in Egypt were rebellious and uncircumcised in the heart as described by the scriptures. Acts 7:51

They confessed they were not able to possess the promise land. God heard them and responded "surely as this people has spoken in my ear so I will do to them"_Num.14:28 God reacts to our words the same way he responds to our prayers.

That is why you must not only strive to pray well, you must also learn to speak right in every situation. Never be tempted to speak contrary to your faith.

The scriptural admonistion in Ecclesiastes 5:6 must always be remembered. It says,

"Suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin; neither say thou before the angel, that it was an error: wherefore should God be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of thine hands?"

You will never stop changing level in your spiritual growth when you learn this principles. I pray God will grant you understanding in Jesus name.

ASSIGNMENT

Cultivate the habit of speaking the scriptures boldly over a situation as well as praying over it.

PRAYER

_Father, I receive grace to speak positively in line with your word at all time.

WINNING PRAYER

John 16:23;

_"And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, WHATEVER YE SHALL ASK THE FATHER IN MY NAME, HE WILL GIVE IT YOU."

Key Message: Prayer becomes an effortless mission and a sweet adventure when we are assured of His presence.

There is nothing that makes prayer easy and interesting like having the assurance that you are being heard anytime you call. The difference between those who win in prayer and those who don't is the lack of understanding of God's eagerness to hear us even before we call.

Isaiah 65:24, says, "And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear."

Every child of God should be able to approach God on the altar of prayer and boldly declared like Jesus _Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me. And I knew that thou hearest me always Jn.11:41-42.

The secret to winning prayer lies in our pursuit. I mean the deepest desire of our heart. James expounded in his epistle. "Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts."_James 4:2-3.

Those who pursue things above God will have something at the detriment of their souls. And those who pursue after God will end up having God and things others exchange their life to get. Matt.6:33

To win on the altar of prayer we must set our priorities on the kingdom and maintain a pure heart. That is, sin free consciousness. God forbids the prayer of sinners. Pro.15:8

Praying for ourselves only entitles us to answers. Jer.33:3 And some of these answers only materialises when we meet its demands. Whereas, praying for the kingdom entitles us to rewards which brings us into favour with God. Mat.6:6/ Gal.6:7-8.

Those who secure God's attention twenty-four seven are those who cry after the kingdom. They are the type who God hears before they ask. I pray God will position you to the categories of these men who win in prayer in Jesus name.

ASSIGNMENT

Make it a priority to pray kingdom advancement prayer everyday. That is, praying for others according to 1Tim.2:1-4

PRAYER

Father, open my spiritual understanding and increase my love for you that I may set my priority alright.

OVERCOMING PRAYER INFIRMITY

1 Thessalonians 5:17;

"Pray without ceasing."

Key Message: Anytime we stop praying we are bound to experience spiritual miscarriages.

The medical experts have made us to understand that the first twelve weeks of pregnancy in a woman is known as the first trimester. It is a very sensitive period. It is within this period the fertilized eggs grows to become an embryo. It is always advised that the pregnant woman should stay healthy within this duration.

Something inexplicably usually begins to take form when we start praying. Prayer is an act of communion or union between us and the God-head. We pray to the Father in the name of Jesus and we are empowered to pray right by the help of the Holy Ghost.

The outcome of the union between Mary and Holy Ghost was Jesus which is also called Wonderful. We are not expected to give birth to anything less than that anytime we come in contact with the Holy Ghost on the altar of prayer.

Lack of continuity in unionism is what usually leads to miscarriages. Apostle Paul instructed us by the Holy Ghost to pray without ceasing.

Anytime we quit praying, the spiritual substance that has been formed in us stops growing and subsequently leads to miscarriages.

The only way we can function effectively in the kingdom is by prayer. Immediately Jesus was baptized by the Holy Ghost, the scripture says the Spirit drove him to the wilderness to pray and fast for forty days. You see, if the Holy Ghost in you does not drive you to the place of prayer, I wonder the kind of Holy Ghost you have.

The purpose of the Holy Ghost baptism is to open to the supernatral, dimensions of the Spirit to enhance our prayer life. When He stepped in for the first time at the Pentecost, the Apostles became masters of prayer.

The Holy Ghost himself is the only cure for prayer infirmity. You need to seek for his help to heal your infirmity and rekindle the fire on your prayer altar. You can only do this genuinely if you have repented from all know sins in your life. I pray the Lord will restore you back to the place of prayer.

ASSIGNMENT

Confess and forsake all known sins in your life in the name of Jesus and pray often in the language of the Spirit everyday. In addition, acquaint yourself to the environment where prayer is hot so as to cut away the spirit of prayerlessness.

PRAYER

Father, by the Holy Ghost heal me of any prayer infirmity and rekindle my fire.

Key Message: There are mountains that won't give away and barriers that will refuse to clear off until our level of spiritual authority changes.

There are jurisdictions in the realm of the spirit. What bows to you is determined by what you bow to. You can't issue authority if you're not under authority. The seven sons of Sceva in Acts 19:14-16 were victims of demonic harassment because they grossly violated the spiritual jurisdiction principle.

Certain predicaments will keep persisting until you consciously engage some spiritual principles that will enhance your spiritual authority.

Assuming Jesus didn't come on time the disciples will continue to struggle with the deaf and dumb spirit and the religious people will keep mocking them.

Before this time, they had been dealing with demons on regular basis. For instance they returned in joy with a fascinating testimony on how the demon was made subject to them through the name of Jesus in Luke. 10:18.

However the story was not the same with there encounter with the deaf and dumb spirit. Jesus' response on the reason why they couldn't cast the demon out made us to understand that certain situations of life will remain the same until our spiritual approach changes.

This kind means peculiar challenges that requires specific directions and higher authority. Jesus didn't say they were not able to cast it out. They were able but not capable. He then recommended prayer and fasting as a prerequisite to enable and augment their abilities.

Our level of spiritual authority changes by engaging the altar of prayer with vast spiritual understanding. Prayer and fasting is the kingdom mandate of enhancing higher dimensions of spiritual authority. Anytime our authority changes, impossible becomes possible. Mountains depart and situations turnaround for good. That will be your experience this season in Jesus name.

THE COMMANDER OF FIRE.

2 Kings 1:10;

"And Elijah answered and said to the captain of fifty, If I be a man of God, then let fire come down from heaven, and consume thee and thy fifty. AND THERE CAME DOWN FIRE FROM HEAVEN, AND CONSUMED HIM AND HIS FIFTY."

Key Message: The level of spiritual authority you have attained is what determine the capacity of fire you can release.

Elijah was an usual man of God with an exceptional prophetic grace to command fire from heaven to the earth. One vital revelation from the life of Elijah we must take cognizance of was his ability to advance in spiritual authority by maintaining a consistent walk with God.

He began by praying for fire to consume the sacrifice and then upgraded to the level of commanding the fire to consume his enemies. He ended up ascending to heaven with chariots of fire.

Elijah operated in such high level of unction in his days because of his undying passion for God. He reiterated in 1kgs.19:10 & 14; "I am being very jealous for the Lord God of hosts" His passion for God and the things of God is what strengthened his prayer life to a greater dimension of exploits.

James 5:17-18, "Elijah was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit."

Passion is the fuel for fire. When we come to a level in our walk with God where we are totally consumed by His cause on the earth, we will naturally engage in the spiritual activities that will ignite our spirit for exploits in the Kingdom.

As we keep growing in power and advancing in spiritual knowledge we will keep commanding fire to defend the gospel and advancing God's kingdom on the earth.

When we start operating in this dimension our words will become irresistible by the heathen. Any time we stand to speak fire will go forth to pierced the heart of men to repentance and compelled them to submit to Christ. I pray the Lord will make you a real carrier of His fire in this generation.

ASSIGNMENT

Develop an undying passion for God by consistently seeking after the salvation of the lost and make them to be established in the faith.

PRAYER

Father, fire up your love in my heart that will enhance my spiritual advancement to the next level.

THE TONGUES OF FIRE.

Acts 2:2-3;

"And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. And there appeared unto them CLOVEN TONGUES LIKE AS OF FIRE, and it sat upon each of them."

Key Message: A sermon that will generate impact and pierce the heart of men to repentance must be cooked by the heart that is on fire and released by the tongue sharpened with fire.

It is not all words that are potent enough to turn dry bones to mighty armies. Those who are on fire are the ones who can dish out fire. A lifeless and aimless message will definitely produce rebellious, confused and a self-gratifying congregation.

Tongues can be confused but fire can never be denied. The scripture says concerning the religious people at pentecost that "they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?" And others were mocking. Acts 2:12.

But after the preaching of Peter they were all absorbed in the fire. The scripture says "they were pricked in their hearts and said what shall we do?" We can't be a life giver as we were ordained to be unless we go back to pentecost to get back the tongue of fire given to us.

We are living in the most difficult time in the history of the world. It's the time where seducing spirits are vexing the Church and doctrines of the devil are rampant. The conscience of many believers are seared with a hot iron as prophesied in 1Tim.4:1-2.

It's only a life wire with electricity that can channel electric current from a source to where it's needed. Our tongue must be soaked with fire and trained to channel fire to the heart of men. Theology and philosophy can never change men. It's only a tongue of fire that can ignite life in others. I see God baptizing you afresh with the Holy Ghost and with fire.

ASSIGNMENT

Practice praying in tongues for a minimum of 30 minutes everyday.

PRAYER

Father, baptize me afresh with power of the Holy Ghost and restore my tongue of fire.

RELEASING THE FIRE WITHIN.

Acts 6:4;

"But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word."

Key Message: Your relevance and attainment in the kingdom depends on your commitment to discover and impact the world with the abilities that are within you.

John the Baptist was a baptizer by water to repentance. Jesus is a baptizer of the Holy Ghost. The appearance of the Holy Ghost in the Upper Room was as like cloven tongues of fire. Acts 2:3. Before the pentecost, John had already introduced Jesus as one who baptized with unique abilities.

John testified to this in Matthew 3:11; "I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:"

The presence of the Holy Ghost must be accompanied with His fire. Anywhere the Holy Ghost goes fire must go there because it takes the fire of the Holy Ghost to impact the world. Men of fire are men of impact and they are containers of divine deposition to refine, remold and impact destiny.

The early religious leaders exclaimed concerning the Apostles that they have filled Jerusalem with their doctrine. Every attempt to stop them remained fruitless because no one can block the way against fire.

Everything Jesus did which was also done by the early Apostles, we are not expected to do the less if we commit ourselves to the things they do. The more they commit themselves to prayer and the ministry of the word, the more the fire within them kept rising until they became unstoppable.

The fire within Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego was powerful than the fiery furnace set against them. It is has never been known before that time that fire can consume fire until they came out from the fiery furnace unhurt.

You see, there is great ability within every believer waiting for expression. The altar of prayer is the spiritual platform for generating the Holy Ghost fire by partnering with Holy Ghost to pray through.

Men of fire are dangerous men with tongue of fire. Your fervency and consistency on the prayer altar, meditation and acting the Word is what translates to the release of fire within.

ASSIGNMENT

Spare time to pray kingdom advancement prayer for an hour everyday and meditate on the scripture.

PRAYER

Father, strengthen me to be committed to spiritual activities that will transform me from being ordinary man to an extraordinary carrier of the fire of the Holy Ghost.

SPIRITUAL AWAKENING GUARANTEES SUPERNATURAL RECOVERY.

Ephesians 5:14

"Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light."

Key Message: Anytime God reveals your real identity to you, you no longer need a prayer point.

There is something the Lord is about to do in your life this season but you must be awake to align to it. The awakening of the spirit is necessary to regain spiritual vigor and sensitivity of the spirit.

One vital admonition in the scripture is found in Galatians 5:25, it says, "If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit." I want you to take note of the word 'If' in that passage. It means to live in the Spirit is subject to certain conditions which has been mentioned earlier by Paul in Galatians 5:22-24.

It is only when we have fulfilled the condition of living in the spirit that we can walk in the spirit. You see, there is little or no activity you can do sleeping. The best you can do is to be snoring. You need to be awake to be alive.

The journey to a great spiritual adventure begins with the revelation of your spiritual status. Most of the times, we are ignorant of our real spiritual status until God exposes us to a greater dimension of light far above the level where we examine ourselves.

Many believers are victims of spiritual robbery. There are encounters, liftings and glories you have missed when you are slumbering. Now you need to awaken. Isaiah the Prophet never knew there is a realm greater than the level where he operated until Uzzaiah the king was taking away from his life.

There are things that must vacate your life by all means this season if you must experience spiritual awakening. You need to come to a point in your life when you are tired of faking spirituality. The life of the spirit is real. When you're cut off with it, you wouldn't want to let go.

It's time to be awaken and alert in the spirit. You must position yourself to be visited this season. You must be energized to all catch up moment of divine visitation. You must live the congregation of the dead and reposition yourself to the highest level of spiritual understanding. That is what the Lord will perform in your life this season in Jesus name.

ASSIGNMENT

Be desperate for spiritual repositioning and change of levels. Let it be evidence in your approach to prayer, studying and meditation of the Word.

PRAYER

Father, let the fire of the Holy Ghost rekindle everything dead or sleeping within me and help me to regain my spiritual status.

AWAKEN THE SLEEPING GIANT IN YOU.

Ephesians 5:14:

"Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light."

Key Message: Every gold has passed through serious fire before it becomes gold. Don't run away from challenges of life, face it and you will become unstoppable.

Those who seek comfort in life always end up in confusion. This life is a battle field, it doesn't matter whether you are interested in fighting or not. The contention over your glorious destiny began before you were born.

The devil has a strategy he uses to keep people in perpetual defeat. If all you pursue in life are means of survival, you need to change your mindset and start seeking fulfilment at the expense of survival.

The account of Adam outside the garden of Eden was void of the supernatural. There was nothing so interesting about his life again. He supernaturally provided names for all the animals in the garden and had continual relationship with God. But immediately he stepped out of the garden he became totally mortal.

Redemption has restored the precious life lost by Adam. Every redeemed child of God has the life of Christ in them. 1 John 4:4 was explaining this"Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world."

There is a giant inside every believer that is waiting for expression. You will never understand the value of the grace you can unleash until you begin to consciously build spiritual capacity to awaken the sleeping giant in you.

God sometimes allows us to pass through fire and the river of life to refine us and deliver us from our comfort zone. God was the arranger of the scene that brought Jacob to Bethel. God stirred up the anger of Esau to pursue him away from Rebekah who had been unconsciously acting as God over his life.

The first time Jacob was alone, his spiritual eyes opened to see God and the host of heaven ascending and descending from heaven to earth. Gen.28:10-15 The other time he was left alone was the time he wrestled with an angel all through the night. Gen.32:24 God arranged that wrestling match to compel him to accept spiritual responsibility.

Jacob was a covenant child battling with a lot of distraction. He never understood his identity as a prince that is why he suffered as a servant for twenty-one years before God rescued him from Laban. It was after he wrestled with the angel that he understood the clarity of his identity "as a prince that has power with God and with men, and has prevailed." Gen.32:28

If you are not ready to take spiritual responsibility you will remain a liability to your generation. There is no substitute to prayer, fasting and meditation of the scriptures. You can't afford to live your precious destiny by chance. Therefore start taking spiritual responsibility to awaken the sleeping giant in you. Stay away from all "Rebekahs" in your life keeping you in your comfort zone.

ASSIGNMENT

What are the things you must stay away from to focus on God? Mention it and make a covenant with God to never return to it.

PRAYER

Father, strengthen me to take spiritual responsibility that'll empowered my work with you this season.

Key Message: Your fruitfulness and fulfilment in life is rooted in your ability to follow the owners' manual.

Life is designed by God to be lived according to what we have found or discovered from him. The scripture instructed us in

Jeremiah 33:3;

"Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not."

We are expected to live by the standard of what God has revealed not what circumstances dictate. You see, every product is package by the manufacturer with an owners manual. The manual for living is the Word of God. Your destiny can never find fulfilment unless you heed to God's instruction contained in His manual.

God created everyone of us with an exceptional ability to build. What we build today determines where we live tomorrow. People are always desperate of what to build. It is good we aim high but the important thing is not what we build but where we are building it.

The foolish will build on the plain ground. It does not matter how sophticated the building is, it can't survive the storm. On the other hand, the wise will build on the rock

We are all builders. Jesus said "whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them.". Our doings are instruments of construction to our glorious future. What you do today determines where you stand tomorrow. However we can be sure of a glorious future if our doings are in line with what Jesus says.

The challenges of man from the onset was is inability to follow the owner's manual. The key towards a prosperous living is rooted in our ability to follow God's instruction.

Proverbs 1:8; says "My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother:" It is only when we begin to operate by God's wisdom by hearing and doing His instruction that our life can find fulfilment. I pray the Lord will bless your understanding in Jesus name.

ASSIGNMENT

Write out things in your life you must forgo this year to be able to concentrate on God's instruction on your life.

When a European Airline was initially launched, an educated Christian gentleman was traveling in the first class section. An air hostess approached him with a complimentary drink, this was an alcoholic drink, but the man politely refused.

The air hostess returned but this time brought the drink on a platter, designed to appeal and impress. However, the Christian man again politely refused, explaining he doesn't drink alcohol.

The air hostess was concerned and informed the manager. The manager approached the man with another platter, now designed with flowers. He questioned, “Is there something wrong with our service? Please enjoy the drink, it is a complimentary offer.”

The man replied, “I am a Christian and I do not drink alcohol? The manager still insisted that the man take the drink. Then, the Christian proposed that the manager should give the drink to the pilot first.

The manager stated, “How can the pilot drink alcohol, he’s on duty! And if he drinks there are all chances for the plane to crash”. The Christian passenger with tears in his eyes, replied, “I am a Christian and I am ALWAYS on duty to protect my FAITH and if I Drink Alcohol I will crash my whole life here and hereafter.
