An ambulance was called to the Florida home of Tiger Woods and an unknown woman was rushed to a medical center, but the nature of the emergency is unknown. The development this morning, Dec. 8, is the latest episode in the continuing scandal surround Woods’ alleged extramarital affairs.

A woman was transported to a hospital from Tiger Woods' Florida home after firefighters responded to a medical call early Tuesday, NBC News reported.

According to Orlando-based WESH, the adult female was taken from the $2.6 million mansion "on advanced life support" after firefighters received a call at 2:36 a.m.

Shortly after the breaking news Tuesday morning that Tiger Woods' wife, Elin Nordgren, was moving out of their home, a report broke that a woman was taken from Tiger Woods' home to the hospital on "advanced life support."

According to WESH-TV in Orange County, Florida, an adult female was taken to the hospital from the home of Tiger Woods around 2:30 am Tuesday morning. The female has not been identified but reportedly refused transport at first. The female was then seen by radio log being carried out of the mansion on a stretcher on “advanced life support”. WESH-TV also reported seeing a black Cadillac Escalade leaving the hospital shortly after the ambulance arrived.

Nowadays, in this trendy world, people get very uptight when they do not look entirely presentable. This would also be the case in web designing.

Every individual would definitely want their website to look good, if not, to the best they can. Here are a few things we could look out for when wanting to create a professional looking webpage.

Color Schemes and Themes.

When designing, always choose matching colors. An example of a matching color would be to have a dark background, with visible words and designs. With the dark theme, try not to mix too many bright colors into the design. What we should NEVER do, is to mix two very different colors, such as purple and yellow. Introduction

Importance of the latter :

Design, design, design. To put the wonders of a good design into perspective, imagine a when we are purchasing a T-Shirt. First of all, what do we look at? The design of the T-Shirt, of course. Well most people do, other than the material factor. But let’s assume the all other factors are constant, wouldn’t the design or looks, become the key aspect then?

2 ) Design

Putting oneself in another individual’s shoes, as usual. Here are another two situations.

Situation A : A website with good design and breathtaking graphics. (Good color schemes with matching theme), pictures. (Optimum resolutions and relevant) and proper fonts and word sizes.

Situation B : A website inversely equipped with hideous graphics and pictures in terms of resolution, quality and relevancy. (Red pictures with a bright green background) Fonts used were not matching albeit too fanciful. (Too small, artsy font-types)

Situation A, visitors that enter the website are immediately awestruck by the design and artwork. The well placed pictures and designs will somewhat symbolizes the positive nature of the company/website. As we know, most people DO judge by impression.

As for Situation B, the shabby environment due to severe lack of creativity and badly taken pictures wouldn’t exactly help in attracting visitors. Fonts that were hard to be read, let alone comprehended, and mismatching themes in terms of color, isn’t exactly welcoming, is it?

Analysis: Now, the main idea here is to always plan your websites, try to get other individuals for feedback and perspectives. Each mindset might differ, but at least you will get room for improvement. Don’t get me wrong, even a plain website with proper design would generate plenty of positive implications, but the key idea here is to at least maintain an impressionable website.

Memang benar, opini yang mengatakan bahwa, “kerjarlah ilmu pengetahuan hingga ke negeri Cina”. Bagaimana bila opini tersebut yang sudah melekat di telinga masyarakat berubah haluan menjadi “Nyalakan PC-mu dan Mari belajar dirumah”.

Sekilas sepele dalam beberapa hal. Belajar memang tidak dituntut selalu berada di bangku sekolah. Kemanapun kita berada ilmu bisa didapat bila diawali dati niat. Internet sekarang tidak lagi menjadi sesuatu yang mewah dan heboh. Di tepi sawah pun saya rasa bukan hal yang sulit untuk membuka “google.com”.

Hal sepele ini saya rasa bisa menjadi hal yang tidak sepele lagi. Kemajuan dunia Informasi memanfaatkan sejuta peluang untuk melakukan apasaja. Misalkan usaha bisnis yang berbasis Internet, contoh riil kemajuan dunia e-commers ini menjadi tumpuan situs e-Learning untuk tumbuh pesat dan semakin merembah di dunia maya. Bagaimana konsep yang di bangun para guru “e-Learning ” ini memulai membuka situsnya untuk menyalurkan ilmu baik secara gratis ataupun harus membayar.

Konsep awal dari pembuatan E-learning ada yang bersifat money oriented, trial version, atau bahkan free. Jika situs masih tergolong pemula, kebanyakan penulis membuat portal e-learning yang berbasis free, itung-itung sebagai media promosi untuk menarik banyak pelanggan. Jika website dikunjungi banyak orang dan banyak yang menggunakan atau mendwonload tutorial yang disediakaan , situs bisa kembangkan ke trial version dimana cuma memberikan beberapa materi saja yang free sedangkan materi yang lain harus membayar. Bahkan tidak menutup kemungkinan penulis membuat yang money oriented bila pengunjung website sangat banyak.

Konsep kedua adalah bidang apa yang merupakan target sasaran. Karena ini akan berpengaruh terhadap jenis file yang akan diletakkan di website. Sebagai contoh jika situs bergerak di bidang hukum, politik, motivasi, maka di website akan lebih banyak file teks. Sebaliknya jika website bergerak di bidang komputer, multimedia, grafis, maka pada website akan lebih menekankan pada penggunaan file teks dan gambar juga video tutorial.

Dengan pemahaman konsep e-Learning tersebut maka semakin terbuka kesempatan untuk menjadi Guru secara online, dan bayaran secara online pula. Virus Michael Jackson Mulai Beredar

Sapa yang tak kenal Jaco alias Michael Jackson sang Raja Pop. Kepergiannya ternyata menjadi inspirasi para kreator virus komputer. Momentum yang tepat sekali untuk mengenang mendiang Jaco.

Perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang keamanan computer Sophos menegarai adanya virus yang dikirimkan melalui email yang seolah-olah berisi lagu dan foto rahasia Michael Jackson yang akrab disapa Jacko tersebut. Email ini dikirim dari alamat sarah@michaeljackson.com dengan subjek “Remembering Michael Jackson”.

Penerima email akan mendapatkan attachment file yang berjudul “Michael songs and pictures.zip”. Apabila penerima membuka lampiran ini sebuah virus akan menginfeksi komputer pengguna dan kemudian secara otomatis menyebarkan worm ke pengguna internet lainnya

Menurut Sophos, malware ini mampu menyebarkan virus melalui email serta menggunakan komponen autorun pada memori data USB.

Konsultan teknologi senior Sophos, Graham Cluley, mengatakan, banyak pengguna komputer yang mungkin akan tergoda untuk membuka lampiran disebabkan moment kematian “Raja Pop” yang saat ini santer diberitakan. “Para pengguna komputer seharusnya sekarang menyadari bahwa kejahatan dunia maya akan cepat menyebar dengan memanfaatkan berita untuk menyebarkan malware dan spam,” ujarnya. Untuk mencegah masalah, Shopos menyarankan setiap orang yang menerima email ini harus segera menghapusnya.

Dalam perkembangan dunia teknologi tak lepas dengan pertumbuhan permintaan kebutuhan dari masyarakat yang yang selalu mengutamakan kemudahan dan segala sesuatu yang instant. Teknologi yang hampir tanpa henti unutk terus dikembangkan dan semakin meluas jaringanya adalah kemajuan di bidang teknologi informasi. Kemudahan untuk mendapatkan informasi terkini dengan cepat dan mudah adalah salah satu kelebihan yang di tawarkan oleh teknologi ini. Semula masyarakat Indonesia masih awam dalam dunia Informasi, namun dengan semakin meluas dan semakin melimpahnya bukti akan “saktinya” teknologi ini, maka dengan perlahan masyarakat semakin tak bisa lepas dari jaringan Informasi.

Mengupas lebih dalam dunia teknologi Informasi ini, tentunya tersirat akan makna dari teknologi informasi. Apa sih sebenarnya makna dari Teknologi Informasi

Teknologi Informasi dilihat dari kata penyusunnya adalah teknologi dan informasi. Secara mudahnya teknologi informasi adalah hasil rekayasa manusia terhadap proses penyampaian informasi dari bagian pengirim ke penerima sehingga pengiriman informasi tersebut akan:

• lebih cepat
• lebih luas sebarannya, dan
• lebih lama penyimpanannya.

Agar lebih mudah memahaminya mari kita lihat perkembangan di bidang teknologi informasi. Pada awal sejarah, manusia bertukar informasi melalui bahasa. Maka bahasa adalah teknologi. Bahasa memungkinkan seseorang memahami informasi yang disampaikan oleh orang lain. Tetapi bahasa yang disampaikan dari mulut ke mulut hanya bertahan sebentar saja, yaitu hanya pada saat si pengirim menyampaikan informasi melalui ucapannya itu saja. Setelah ucapan itu selesai, maka informasi yang berada di tangan si penerima itu akan dilupakan dan tidak bisa disimpan lama. Selain itu jangkauan suara juga terbatas. Untuk jarak tertentu, meskipun masih terdengar, informasi yang disampaikan lewat bahasa suara akan terdegradasi bahkan hilang sama sekali.

Setelah itu teknologi penyampaian informasi berkembang melalui gambar. Dengan gambar jangkauan informasi bisa lebih jauh. Gambar ini bisa dibawa-bawa dan disampaikan kepada orang lain. Selain itu informasi yang ada akan bertahan lebih lama. Beberapa gambar peninggalan zaman purba masih ada sampai sekarang sehingga manusia sekarang dapat (mencoba) memahami informasi yang ingin disampaikan pembuatnya.

Ditemukannya alfabet dan angka arabik memudahkan cara penyampaian informasi yang lebih efisien dari cara yang sebelumnya. Suatu gambar yang mewakili suatu peristiwa dibuat dengan kombinasi alfabet, atau dengan penulisan angka, seperti MCMXLIII diganti dengan 1943. Teknologi dengan alfabet ini memudahkan dalam penulisan informasi itu.

Kemudian, teknologi percetakan memungkinkan pengiriman informasi lebih cepat lagi. Teknologi elektronik seperti radio, tv, komputer mengakibatkan informasi menjadi lebih cepat tersebar di area yang lebih luas dan lebih lama tersimpan.
