Rings, rings and RINGS :)

See I am a sucker for a good statement ring. When I married my lovely hubby we actually had my ring created by the lovely ladies from Annexs (www.annexs.nl). They are very talented!!
My ring consists out of 3 parts ( yeah I know I went a bit overboard! but hey did not have an engagement ring !).
I'll show you a picture first:

The ring second from left is actually Hubby's ring but the rest is MINE :) The two gold side rings are made from my parents wedding rings ( they both passed) so very special to me. I must admit this is the most expensive ring I have ( and probably ever will have) but I have a soft spot for gorgeous rings that actually don't cost the world.

H&M, TOP SHOP, Accessorize and lavender do gorgeous rings for not that much money ( me like!).

So I have listed some of my faves at the moment ( since it is the season to be jolly and all that):

Gold Tattoo

I actually happen to like tattoos.. however i don't have one... yet.... Stumbling upon this made me desperately want one. A gold tattoo... not permanent and it shimmers. Hello!! ME LIKE

The tattoos are created from 99 percent gold or platinum foil that is applied directly to the skin ( so no pain!). and it only takes 10 minutes to do! Downside is.. we have to fly to Dubai to get it done....

I say book me a ticket to Dubai... well that and winning the lottery :)

Creative with colours

Last week I posted a picture on my facebook page of some glass rods I had recently purchased. Just to remind you here is the picture:

I was dying to try them out and yesterday I finally had the chance. The blues are fantastic, not to sure about the greenish colour just yet as it burns very quickly. However here are some results (sorry for the un-cleaned beads still on the mandrel):

A rainy sunday and a severe case of "sigh... new season is definately coming" syndrome made me produce this bracelet. Hanging on to the last hopes of glitter and glam and looking forward to the Christmas Period.

Who doesn't like Glitz 'n Glam? Me like!
