Capital Campaign Brochure: This local chapter of the Boys and Girls Club reached out to its community for support in building a new facility that’s a Positive Place for Kids. To assist with their effort, they also reached out to Maida Design to create a case statement promoting the positive role this non-profit organization can play in a child’s life while appealing to the upscale community they serve.

Logo Identity: A residential building and remodeling contractor takes advantage of his good fortune...being blessed with an appropriate last name...”Carpenter”. Published in the Logo Lounge Master Library, Volume 1

Branding : Ridgefield Library

Capital Campaign Materials: The Ridgefield Library has been a vital resource since 1903. 107 years later they’re operating with many deficiencies while battling the public perception that libraries are only 'about books' and soon obsolete. Not surprisingly, daily usage and demand for their programs is increasing. What’s really needed? An updated facility to meet the growing demands of the 21^st century.

Before they could reach out to the community for support, they reached out to Maida Design to get the process underway to design a new image that would help present the Library with a more progressive voice....one that would carry them into the future. A local marketing consultant was brought on to assist in developing the new "voice" and from there, a value/needs-based campaign, titled UpSide : Down Side, was developed, designed and launched. The common thread in all communications was the concept of the Library being so much more than books while touching on various deficiencies and presenting the plan and need for the future.

The results? Successful...construction on the new Ridgefield Library will begin August 2012!

Branding : Berger Legal

Brand Identity: Berger Legal is an elite boutique law firm comprised of senior level attorneys. What makes them really unique? They are perhaps the first virtual law firm operating without the traditional trappings of a fancy office. Their model allows for maximum value and efficiency. They still however needed something to pass along to prospective and notable clients ...a traditional (not really!) brochure that was equally impressive delivering maximum value. And of course, one successful project can often lead to another..thus, their new website.

Logo Identity: A friend, with a life-long love of riding, opens the bike shop in town, also known as Ridgefield Bicycle Company. This is the place to go if you’re looking for an awesome selection of bikes for any and every type of rider. Brand Identity: As a well-established architectual design firm, DCA Architects/Planners was ready to broaden their reach within the residential and commercial markets but they needed to revitalize and strengthen their brand presence. With a venerable legacy and a stunning portfolio, they reached out to Maida Design to develop an all new brand identity. We then brought a local marketing consultant into the mix to develop the voice and together, we developed the brand known as Doyle Coffin Architecture.

Logo Identity: A local purveyor of artesian cheese, wine and charcuterie sets up shop with the flair of an old world marketplace.

Brand Identity: As the venerable icon of regional home healthcare, and with 96 years of caring for all ages of the local community, the Ridgefield Visiting Nurse Association rebranded with the goal of serving a broader range of surrounding communities. With the highest patient satisfaction rating of any home healthcare agency in the area, they now provide their services to 13 surrounding communities from New Canaan to Southbury, Connecticut.

Brand Identity: Ridgefield Physical Therapy has the distinct honor of being Maida Design’s very first client...way back in 2002 when we were both launching our individual businesses ...and we’re happy to say they are still a great client of ours! ( and the place to go for treating that occasional running injury! )

The first order of business was to design a new logo as well as stationery and various administrative documents to support the day-to-day needs of the practice. In developing the overall brand image, dynamic visuals were combined with large-scale action words to symbolize vitality and the mutual goals that exist between therapist and patient. With this, their new ad campaigned was launched. For efficiency purposes, as well as long term cost savings, a CMS-based website was developed to establish a strong and resourceful online presence.
