The New London Motorcycle Club was established in 1939 by local residents Ralph & Ruth Strong, who owned an Indian Motorcycle dealership and rode Indian Motorcycles (see http://newlondonmotorcycleclub.com/home.html). Another company from Las Vegas offered guided motorcycle tours (see: http://www.vegas-gunslinger-motorcycle-tours.com/index.html). I believe these companies and other motorcycle companies would be happy to have a motorcycle mailbox near their offices.

I like Sam's web site, because he published a lot of pictures of unusual, designed, novelty mailboxes. As I understood, people from different countries send Sam photos of unusual mailboxes that they saw. The motorcycle mailbox was made by adding the two halves of a motorcycle's gas tank and putting them on each side of a standard mailbox. A set of handlebars were then attached to the top of the mailbox (see the link).

What reminds you this photo of mailboxes? Me it reminds an army and each mailbox is a solder.
Why we are using such mailboxes? We all are different. I believe that a mailbox is a part of the house and it has to tell something about its owner. There are a lot of different novelty, designed mailboxes. Everyone can found something personal. If you like old cars, then you can buy cadillac mailbox. If you are living in Florida, then may be you will like crocodile mailbox. There are a lot of different cat mailboxes, dog mailboxes. If you are living near the ocean, many people in America live near the ocean, then may be you will like whale mailbox, dolphin mailbox, manatee mailbox. Recently I walked at the beach along the ocean. Near the beach was a line of the nice houses, their windows looked at the ocean. Suddenly my friend stopped and told me, look at this wonderful dolphin mailbox. I already new, by my previous experience, that people always notice with a pleasure different novelty mailboxes, for example: train mailbox, cow mailbox, cadillac mailbox, duck mailbox. But it surprised me that he noticed the dolphin mailbox when everything was so beautiful around: waves, sun that almost drown in the ocean, amazing soft pink and blue sky.

Now, when I'm walking around my rich neighborhood, I'm paying attention to the nearby mailboxes. And I can see around only ugly mailboxes, sometimes very old ugly boxes. People can have very nice houses, gates, front yards and I don't understand why they don't care about their mailboxes. Why they can have a fancy gate, but don't want to have a fancy novelty mailbox. At the internet everybody can buy whatever he or she wants. For example, train mailbox, duck mailbox, dog (there are different breeds available) mailbox, cat mailbox, cow mailbox, cadillac mailbox, flamingo mailbox, golf bug mailbox and so and so on.

Recently I had a trip to Utah. I rented a four wheel drive car, correspondingly I used four wheel drive roads. During my trip I visited many very small villages and towns. I was surprised when I've seen there a lot of ugly, old mailboxes. And I was questioning my self why theses people don't care about their mailboxes. Very often the mailbox is a face of the house. Why they don't want to buy new mailboxes, why they don't want to go to the internet and buy there beautiful novelty mailboxes. They can buy a cow mailbox or train mailbox or tractor mailbox or airplane mailbox. It is so easy to find a good decorative mailbox and such mailboxes not expensive.

I very like novelty mailboxes. My digital camera always with me and I do pictures of such mailboxes, if I see them when I walk by or drive by. My family has labradoodle. We very like our dog. For this reason I decided to make a present for whole my family, to buy a labradoodle mailbox. I started to search different dog mailboxes. I found Black Lab Mailbox, Dalmatian Mailbox, Hound Dog Mailbox (unknown breed). But I did not find, between dog mailboxes, a labradoodle mailbox. Probably this is an unusual breed, I don't know. Recently we celebrated my husband's birthday. My husband very likes retro cars, for example an old cadillac. Unfortunately I can not afford to buy a retro car for him and I did not want to give him, as a present, a useless retro car model. For this reason I decided to buy for my husband a retro car mailbox. Search engines are very powerful, but they can not do everything for you. Sometimes you need to click at the many links before yo will find something suitable. I searched at the google.com a decorative mailbox. I found very good page: mailbox-plaza. I saw there different nice mailboxes: flamingo mailbox , cat mailbox, train mailbox, cadillac mailbox and so on. But I did not find "old" car mailbox. I searched "old" car mailbox at the different places, but saw only something like: pink cadillac mailbox, tractor mailbox, train mailbox, but not the "old" car mailbox that I've looked for.

The rooster mailbox... the dream of all mailbox owners; a decorative mailbox... a novelty mailbox... a residential mailbox... all in one! Having a rooster mailbox is like living on a farm and having a real rooster (except that the rooster mailbox does not raise the sun)! Still, having a rooster mailbox is advantageous, for it gives even a city house a suburban look. Moreover, having a cat mailbox is like having a pet that you don't have to take care of! Like a real pet and a good decorative mailbox, the cat mailbox looks really pretty. Also, like a pet and a good residential mailbox, it stays at home and never runs away. Finally, like some sort of exotic pet and a good novelty mailbox, the cat mailbox arouses the admiration of your friends and neighbors! The cat mailbox would have been perfect if it were also a handcrafted mailbox and a handpainted mailbox, but one cannot expect total prefection. Our family has recently bought a novelty mailboxes from Mailbox Plaza, and it is a pleasure to have a decorative mailbox train as our residential mailbox. Since it is a novelty mailbox and a decorative mailbox, we bask in the approval and envy of our neighbors. Moreover, my little sister greatly enjoys playing around the decorative mailbox train because it is like the train toys she has at home. Handcrafted...Pringles Can Mailbox !

"Sheril L. Brasher explains how to create a cool mailbox using a Pringles potato chip canister.

Materials Needed:
Potato chip canister (Pringles)
Contact paper
Colored paper
Markers, crayons, etc.
Stickers
Tape (double-stick tape works best)

Instructions:Decorate a sheet of paper, cut to fit around the Pringles can, using the markers, crayons, stickers, and anything else you can find. Make sure that the child's name is on the paper and is visible. (You can also use a photo of child if said child is too young to recognize their name.)
Tape the decorated sheet of paper to a clean Pringles can. Cover with the contact paper.

We use this as our "mailbox" for our preschool classes. It works really well because all art work, notes home to mom, and notes from mom actually get where they need to go. The kids love them as well because it makes them feel important to have their own "mailbox". I will add that the "mailboxes" never leave the child's tote-bag so that nothing get missplaced and it is also accessible for the teachers and the parents. "
