My time with cotton clouds

Yes, I'm currently in the cotton cloud making fever. So much fun to play around with and take photos of. Love the texture and everything. Had so much fun with this session though the whole session was pretty dark with only one source of light. Everything turned out pretty awesome though :)

New Problems....

My laptop hasn't been cooperating with me and I'm currently using the boyfriend's laptop (which doesn't have the necessary programs I use to edit and do cool fun stuff to photos. Therefore the explanation of my lack of posts here. Even though I am not able to edit any of the shoots I have done so far that involves manipulation and such, I have been able to use picnik (Online editing site) to edit some photos that I have taken of myself to add to the 365 photo thing I started. The photo above is one of the photos that belongs to the 365.

As soon as I get more news about the condition on my laptop, I shall update :) hopefully happy news....if not...I shall have to go on a slight hiatus. In the meantime, go click the sites above.

I love kids. I love it when I am able to capture their essence in the photographs. To me, being able to capture their free ways is the most precious thing ever. Their expressions always makes me happy. In these two photos, I tried to get them to pose for me but the thing about kids is that, they aren't able to model without cracking up and asking, "Why?"

The top (Noah Lo - Nephew), he was so darn funny and cute. I told him to smile and he pulls out this mischievous smile that cracked me up so bad. Then I told him not to smile and I love this part - he can't stop smiling :D Such a cutie pie.

The bottom (Tachyon Lo - Nephew ~ still not sure if that's how i spell his name ...failure at being a aunty here ._.), when I told him to smile, he doesn't smile. When I tell him to not smile. He doesn't smile. I don't mind, I actually love his expression. This kid - he is going to be stuck in the woods with only shorts sometime in the summer. I have a whole shoot ready for him :D

I'm such a great aunty ;P

Happy Valentine's everyone. I hope you all a beautiful and wonderful day. It's a little chilly where I am but with all the love spreading out, it's warming me up :)

For all those who are heartbroken. Just remember. They probably weren't the one for you. Everytime I was heartbroken, repeatedly reminded myself and look where I am now. I have found someone who brightens my day and loves me entirely.

SO alright, laugh or hate me all you want but inspiration comes to me in the weirdest and funniest ways and well this photo (click here) came to me while I was eating candy. Click to read my weird inspiration and to see the photos that came from that inspiration.

Hope that either puts a smile to your face, laughter to your lips...or it might brings tears to your eyes and for that I'll say beforehand - I am entirely sorry.

Little Angel 2

Talk about transforming this girl into an angel....my second attempt and MY GOODNESS so much better than my first one. Hopefully she's a bit more satisfied with this one :) I love the cloud brush I made, it's currently heaven to me right now.

She wanted white wings and a halo...she's not going to get a halo anytime soon BUT she did get white wings :) kids, all they do is demand ;P

I've been dreaming all day long.

I had one HECK of a time looking for the 'perfect' cloud tutorial. My first attempt at clouds...pretty satisfying. Now I just have to take better and full body photos of myself in order to do the scenes in my head. I know there are TONS of photos that includes clouds in them, BUT they are my inspiration at the moment. Which is also my motivation and because of that, I prefer to finish my cloud obsession before I start any new obsession :)

During the last few days of January, my niece and sister planned for me to take their photos. The niece got the most attention though. Wearing a dress outside with thick snow everywhere, we were both freezing. She was with a dress and accessories (thankfully wearing boots) and I, well I was wearing my warm comfy coat - even with that, I was freezing.

I have an huge obsession with jellyfishes. I just find them fascinating!!! The results of underwater adventures = tons of jellyfish photos. The spot I was stuck at for the longest time just watching their elegant movements until the boyfriend got me back to reality. Who knew watching jellyfishes can be so relaxing ;P

Starting an INSPIRATION TAG :) for those who check my blog personally, this tag will show you where all my inspiration comes from. Karah Kobus has been a long time inspiration because she created the most amazing art and I wish I could do the same (practicing :D ). One day I shall be able to create such amazing works with a touch of myself in it. So far, her images have given me my painting inspirations. Weird huh? I can't find the right images and the models to help me with these images that I recreate all the time. Therefore, I paint my imagination instead.

Baby Eden 1 YEAR OLD!!!!

I love this baby girl with my whole heart! <3 and it's her FIRST BIRTHDAY!!!!

So, the first picture is super adorable because well, she loves me :D it's true (ask anyone) and I love taking photos of her in her super cute and adorable dresses so this is kinda a letstakeyouawaysoicantakephotosofyouprivatelyandgobabycrazy moment :D I do this a lot by the way.

Second photo is her big brother paxton sharing this beautiful moment with her....by blowing her candle for her :) so adorable though she did sort of have a fit because she wasn't able to blow her own first birthday candle (which is 4 instead of 1 because we didn't have a candle so....use your imagination and mold that 4 into a 1).

The third (and my favorite) is before the candle blowing occasion and her cuteness by staring at a candle lit lol. She has (i think) never been this close to a candle so of course, she was awed by it and never really took her eyes away from it until paxton blew it...then that's when the fit happened and then we had to re lit the candle for the birthday song.

I love this little girl :) she's super adorable and if my dear readers haven't been following at all....she's also the most over used model :D I can not help it that my little nieces and nephews....I can never run out of them at all (HELLO I HAVE 30!!! WHY NOT put them to some use!)

Super Adorable

What was the whole point of this small cute little random session? Well let's just say that I wanted to recreate a photo of when she was tinier than she is now and she was sticking out her tongue. Did that happen? NOOOPPPEEE cause she saw my lens cap and got all fascinated and did other cute stuff instead because I wouldn't let her get up from where I laid her :D such a nice aunty - yes i am :)

The last photos = my attempt for a Christmas photo. Something I could show her when she grows older that this was her first Christmas. I'm trying to start this tradition-ish thing by taking photos of 'firsts' for the siblings, nieces, nephews, etc who doesn't have time to do this for their babies simply because they don't have time or because they do not go camera crazy like me.

Anyways, this benefits both the receiver and giver. I for one will have one heck of a time with babies (like i don't already :D) and the person whose baby is the baby I'm taking photos for...they get lots of free edited photos :) not the best but BETTER than no photo to hold memories at all eh?

Fun set up session

I had so much fun with Mihoko during this session. Full of laughter but amazing photos as results. This was my first set up session, where candles were lit and the bath tub was filled with white and creamy blankets. Cranes were tossed in for more texture. I loved every bit of this photo session and the best part yet - everything was in the house :) meaning there was no money spent (SCORE!).

I can't wait to do another one :)

Merry Christmas my dear followers, sorry for the lack of posts, this month is sort of hectic with lots of shopping lol. Hopefully after the celebrations are over, I shall start brainstorming for photo sessions with the fav baby girl Eden :)

I've posted some photos of her adorableness. All taken on the iPod touch because it's the only piece of technology besides my cell that is nearby at all times (besides the fact that I'm listening to music half the time). Hope you all have an amazing celebration and hope to be posting more photos in the future :)

Since I haven't been able to take photos recently, I decided to edit photos-all on my iPod touch so bare with it. iPod app edits are becoming super useful, just wish the quality would stay the same, but then that would mean lots of gigs used...which isn't fun when things get slow.
