From the Archives starts production today. The production period is planned to  last until the end of the year. The Pilot episode will premiere on December 23rd, 2011. Episode 1 will premiere on Friday January 6th, 2012. Episodes will be released weekly on Fridays. This scheduled programming is subject to change.

There might be a new weekly series starting in January as well. The show might premiere every Sunday. Because we feel that the programming should be spread apart evenly, From the Archives might be moved to Wednesdays. Until the proposal is accepted, From the Archives will continue to stay on Fridays.

Digital Media

Maka Boy Media Productions has filmed and photographed two weddings this Month. The post-production of the videos will start sometime this week. The new couples were promised their videos by the end of the year.

Maka Boy Media Productions also has new equipment. We have a 2 TB External Hard Drive for Storage, Two 16 GB High Capacity SD Cards for the Canon Rebel t3 and a USB Audio Recorder. We do have a shotgun microphone but it requires phantom power from cameras. We are expecting a lapel microphone made for the Audio Recorder to come in Early 2012.

Site Updates

Our website has been updated to the most recent WordPress Software. New Plugins and Pages were added.

Maka Boy Media Productions is currently working on a project to restore old videos from 2006 to Present. This will include continuing the Exploding Can Show Remastering Project that started in July 2009.

Behind the Scenes, Bloopers and Never Before Seen Footage of our videos will also be a part of this new project.

The goal of this project is to remind us as to our beginnings and as well as the friendships that motivated each other to where we are now.

On a personal note, I hope that this will help us to remember what we did in the past, not just from making videos, but our constant association at school, library and other various areas.
