Just a few years ago the concept of making music 'on the go' was still pretty fresh with various hardware and software solutions available on the market. Now you literally can create music wherever you are with software available for the iPad and iPhone, which means no matter where you are you can start composing your latest hit.

Two apps I think work extremely well together are iKaossilator by Korg and NanoStudio by Blip Interactive, and the reason for this is they compliment each other really well. iKaossilator by Korg is based on their hardware instrument of a similar name (known as the Kaossilator) and is basically a handheld loop device which allows you to mash up a multitude of beats, synth patterns and FX and instantly come up with a fresh and unique loop which you can export as a 44K stereo WAV.

NanoStudio is a fully functional DAW for your iOS device, and it is without a doubt one of the most versatile and professionally put together pieces of software I've seen for a long time. You can set up multiple instrument channels which consist of fully programmable synths (with plenty of great sounding presets and tons of space to create your own) and drum machines with programmable and fully customisable pads.

The real power of using these two apps together however is due to the fact that you can audiocopy your iKaossilator creations into NanoStudio and then use these samples within your new track immediately, without any loss of sound quality whatsoever and without having to leave the comfort of your iOS device. Stuck for an idea for your latest creation? Just fire up iKaossilator, make a few tweaks with the X/Y pad and chuck the resulting soundbed into NanoStudio for some instant creative inspiration.

These two apps for the time being are only available on iOS devices such as the iPad and iPhone, but hopefully one day they (or something similar) will be available for Android devices. I've searched the Android Marketplace and unfortunately cannot find anything yet which comes close (by all means, if you know of anything please feel free to leave a comment). If you have an Android device, you might be thinking "Should I sell my tablet and buy an iPad instead"? Well, if the thought of creating phenomenal sounds on the go excites you then until the Android Marketplace has something to offer my answer to you is a definite yes!

Check out the videos below for demonstrations of the apps in action.

Social media, blogs, iTunes ... the list of great and innovative creative tools keeps on getting bigger and bigger, and one of the latest online resources to enter the mix is kickstarter.com.

Simply put, Kickstarter is a means to attract funding for any creative project you wish. Fancy raising a few thousand dollars to record a single? Put your project on Kickstarter and see if you can generate some funding. Need to raise some finance to put on a live gig? See if you can capture the imagination of potential donors to invest in your dreams.

Make a start now!
The advantage of releasing a cover song is you can leverage the power of keyword searches on popular download sites such as iTunes which means there is a high chance your particular cover version will get heard and maybe even purchased.

Think about this scenario - you decide to record a cover of Lady GaGa's 'Poker Face' and release it on iTunes via Tunecore. Now, whenever someone performs a search on iTunes for 'Poker Face', there is a very good chance your cover version will appear high up in the search results. Can you imagine how many plays this could get? It's a great way of exposing your band to a much wider audience and gain new fans.

If you want to record and release a cover song, you will need to make sure you have the relevant authority to do so as the original copyright holders are entitled to a royalty on every download, however the good news is it isn't a huge amount and you still stand to make a good profit on each sale. The even better news is there is now a service called Limelight which you can register with for free that makes the whole process of getting cover songs cleared for release a complete breeze. You only pay a small fee when you actually release something.

Check out the website and get your cover songs released today!

The only caveat is there is a small fee to pay (@ £10) to register for an audition, but it's probably a small price to pay for the opportunities offered, plus the fee will probably deter most people who aren't that serious about entering which means there could be less competition for the bands that do enter. Good luck!
Long Live The New Music Industry!

There can be no denying that the 'music industry' is pretty much dead in the water. The good old days of seeking a major record deal, getting a huge advance and becoming the worlds most successful band are over. The combination of the internet and piracy have derailed the music industry gravy train and there is no going back to how things were.

So, the question is where is the music business headed?

One fundamental thing that remains unchanged is there are still musicians all over the world who will continue to create music regardless of whether they ever earn a cent from it. Some fantastic new opportunities have arisen as well. The internet has created a very cheap, globally accessible distribution network for music and the cost of producing music in comparison to the previous decade has dropped considerably, with most bands now being able to record very well produced music on a standard PC with software costing just a few hundred dollars. On top of this, it is now possible to promote music to thousands of people all over the world via social networks, internet advertising and music-centric websites at very little cost.

All in all, everything the 'music industry' once held dearly (and controlled fiercely) is now available to the masses with absolutely no restriction. The downside to all of this is, as a business, there is no clear path for musicians anymore.

When major labels were the only route into being a successful musician it was all very clear cut. You sent a demo to Sony and they either liked it, in which case an opportunity arose, or they didn't, in which case you never heard a thing back from them. If they liked it you were contacted by their A&R department and hey presto, your foot was in the door.

Nowadays what do you do? The majors aren't listening to demos anymore. They would rather poach a band that already has an established following and doing quite well with their own music sales, but the thing is those bands have already achieved most of what a major used to do for a band in the first place. So what can a major record deal offer nowadays?

Ultimately a major label can offer more money and exposure to a band which has already proved itself to be a potentially worthwhile investment, and that is the key ... investment.

Rather than seeing the majors as the means to get noticed, you must view them more like investment banks. All they want to do, in fact all they exist for, is to make money out of exploiting popular music. The initial part of 'getting noticed' is now firmly in the hands of musicians and the tools to do this are, for the most part, freely available to all. YouTube, MySpace, Facebook, iTunes ... the list goes on.

The music industry of the future will place more pressure on bands and musicians to reach a certain level of success before major labels (if they even exist in that form by then) step in with offers of finance and marketing to help expose bands already successful within their niche to a wider global audience.

The secret of music industry success will be to generate a solid following of fans, geographically (ie. local to where you live) and virtually (ie. global fans on MySpace, YouTube, etc) who are happy to buy your music online or pay to watch you play. Once you have an established fan base you will be in a very good position to negotiate any potential deals with major labels, or you may find that actually you don't need them at all.

After all, if your band is making enough to money to live on comfortably by regularly gigging and selling music downloads, why would you want to give most of that income away to a record company?

The old music industry is dead. Long live the new music industry!

NanoStudio combines sampling, synthesis, sequencing and mastering in a single application, taking mobile music making to a new level.

Record your ideas in real time, mix synth layers with samples, compose and arrange your tune using the powerful sequencer and bring the mix alive with real time effects such as reverb, waveshaping and delay. You can use your own samples or record them using the microphone. NanoStudio's low latency audio engine is custom engineered for iPhone, capable of delivering an amazing 48 voice polyphony in CD quality stereo.

Eden Synth

Introducing Eden, NanoStudio's versatile synth. Eden creates analogue sounds ranging from deep basslines and fat pads all the way up to squealing 303 lines and heavily distorted leads. Each voice has 2 anti-aliased oscillators modulated in mix, ring or sync configurations fed into a low, band or high pass 2 pole resonant filter.

Eden's virtual patchbay allows you to connect 3 envelope generators and 4 beat-sync LFO's to create modulation mayhem. Real-time performance becomes a truly interactive experience with dual X/Y controllers, accelerometer input and a pitch bend wheel, all totally configurable via the patchbay. Controller movements can be recorded and edited using the sequencer

It doesn't stop there. NanoStudio allows you to use 4 Eden synths simultaneously, each with its own insert effects such as waveshaping, chorus and delay. When you want to go beyond basic oscillators, load up a sample and process it just like a normal synth voice - great for mashing up vocals or even the whole mix.

When you're ready to get really creative, NanoStudio allows you to resample its own output and trigger the sample via the pads or keys, freeing up synths and effects to add even more sonic goodness to your composition.

TRG-16 Trigger Pads

Record samples using the built in microphone, resample NanoStudio's own output or upload your own samples over Wifi using the NanoSync tool for PC and Mac. Edit your samples using NanoStudio's built-in wave editing tools and trigger them using the 16 pads. Adjust pitch, pan, volume and envelopes and assign each sample to one of the 3 output busses, each with its own effect sends and filter setup.

Sequencer

Record performances in real-time using the keys and sample pads or create patterns and controller sweeps by drawing them in the piano roll editor. Arrange your patterns into a complete song using the track editor. Edit to your heart's content while the song is playing and rest assured that every editing and recording operation has multiple undo/redo.

Mastering

Use Nanostudio's intuitive mixer to monitor levels and get your final mix just the way you want it. The mixer's two global effects sends allow you to individually apply reverb and delay effects to each track.

When you're ready to share your mix with others, and use NanoSync to copy the exported .wav file to your PC or Mac over Wifi.

Hardly anybody in the music business understands that the old formula of how to successfully promote a new act is obsolete. The record companies are all aware that there is a big problem but they have no idea what the solution is. What they do understand is that they are unable to recoup their investment in studio time with a good producer, the cost of a good video, the advertising budget, and the cost of the first promotional road tour from the profits on a first hit CD.

An act must be capable of repeating and sustaining their initial success in the studio in order for a record company to make a profit because the necessary investment has increased dramatically. Ever since the mid 1990's the record companies have become painfully aware that there are no acts containing songwriters who can keep on writing more hit songs. All the new acts since the mid 1990's have one, two, maybe three good songs at the most, and any person who's purchased a CD since that time will testify to that.

The record companies also know that MP3 downloading on the internet is a factor that has negatively affected their profits. Put that together with their inability to find sustainable new acts and you have the two main reasons why so many record companies are losing money. The ones that are not losing money are the ones that have a library of popular artists from the past who continue to sell. The record companies now understand that the internet is the new communications medium, it's here to stay, and they are all trying to figure out how to take advantage of it. Their pattern has always been to watch the numbers, analyze the trends, and then try to jump on board and ride the wave for as long as it lasts. If I told them what the answer is to the problems they face, they simply wouldn't know what to do with the information.

The Artist's Guide to Success in the Music Business

The new formula for success is to have the right factors in place first, and then to use the internet's full potential to bring the artist to the attention of the entire world.

Step 1: In order to create a hit record it is necessary to have a hit song. So what is a hit song? It's a song that is so blasted catchy that after hearing it one time people cannot get it out of their minds and they will spend money to own the CD. The best producer cannot produce a hit record without having that kind of raw material. My old friend Gary Kelgren said it best - "You can't polish a turd".

Step 2: In order to create a hit music artist on the internet, of course it is necessary to have one or more hit songs that have been properly produced, but it is also necessary to have a "hit web site". So what is a hit web site? Obviously it's one with thousands of "hits" per day but that's not the point. The point is that in the same way that a hit song works for a listener, a web site must grab a net surfer's interest within the first 5-10 seconds and hold their interest long enough for them to find the hit songs and listen to them. But it should also contain entertaining content for people to read and enjoy because a good web site is a much more complex form of entertainment. The best web sites are the ones that have great creative writing and cannot be digested in one sitting, so people will keep coming back for more entertainment. This kind of web site cannot possibly be designed by a web site design professional because real creative and entertaining writing is not for sale at any price. That means the successful artist of the future needs to be more than just a musician in order to take full advantage of the new medium because the web site needs to reflect the artist's personal expression, and nobody can do that except the artist.

Step 3: Creative internet promotion. The new formula for success may not even require an advertising budget for proper promotion of the web site in order to achieve thousands of hits per day if the promotion is creative enough. But the two previous steps are absolute prerequisites for success in the new medium. A money-losing promotional road tour will be pointless and unnecessary until a large audience is developed by building an internet fan club and selling enough CD's to warrant a road tour that will turn a profit.

How to Make It in the New Music Business: Lessons, Tips and Inspiration from Music's Biggest and Best

The new formula also contains the potential for making the old costly distribution networks obsolete because purchasing directly over the internet could eliminate the necessity for retail mark-ups and thus maximize profits for all concerned. The Recording Industry Association of America has the correct statistics on what music is actually selling as opposed to what is being played on the radio and what the record companies are trying to market. They list The Beatles as the best selling act/artist of all time with 166.5 million albums sold in the USA alone. They list The Beatles as the best selling act/artist of all time with 166.5 million albums sold in the USA alone. They list Elvis second with 117.5 million units sold, Led Zeppelin third with 106 million units sold, and the top 25 are dominated by classic rock acts including The Doors, The Stones, Pink Floyd, The Eagles and many others. I think it's very significant that those statistics are becoming geometrically times greater than the number of albums that they sold during their performance lifetimes. What has happened and is happening is that the young people of today are discovering them in droves and buying their music. Traditionally, the record buying public has always been young people between the ages of 12-25 and those demographics have not changed. What this means is that the potential for profit in new classic rock and roll music is beyond calculation.

Music business has changed a lot with upcoming technologies. One can find these changes in the form of traditional business models or hike in sales of CD's whereby changes have provided new artists, independent artists, labels and music companies with new opportunities.

Today, the music industry has the benefits of selling music online, wireless technologies, develop online record company, and open an online music store.

Availability of digital music downloads directly from the internet to the hard drives of computers has raised the issue of music piracy. There are thousands of websites providing free music download services. There are legal music download sites whereby they allow you to download songs when you pay a minimal charge in return. You can compare these sites and find which allows you to download music at the most competitive rates.

The Future of the Music Business: Music Pro Guides (Hal Leonard Music Pro Guides)

You can find the difference between different music download programs with the help of file sharing programs. The question is that really these music download programs are free or not? Many of these music download programs have lots of ad wares, spy wares and pop-ups that you should be cautious of. The difference between file sharing and free file sharing program is that with the payment you make. Programs like MP3 advance, mp3 music subscription provide you with technical support, security from popup, spy wares, privacy protection and money back incase you are not happy with the program.
Because of illegal copying of music files and sales in the market many music companies have brought law suits but still many file sharing program allows users to be anonymous. People are confused as to the legacy of free music downloads. They still think that which place of the website allows downloading and burning of free music. Is file sharing legal and after downloading are they at any risk? Therefore, you should avoid different file sharing programs like P2P, KaZaa, Limeware which allows free downloads but violate copyright laws. These downloads are songs from the CD put on the internet by people not having rights from the company or authorized music company.
The RIAA would like you to believe that you are participating in the Recording Industry. Be advised, you are not.

You are in the Touring (Gig) Industry, make no mistake.

This Business of Music Marketing and Promotion, Revised and Updated Edition

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to get as many bodies through the doors of your show as possible.

Then, get them on the list. Then, give them things. Then, sell them things. Then get their friends on the list...

Friends? Yup.

What do you do if you want to see a movie? Most people will read a review or ask a friend's advice. Most people want an endorsement of some kind before they can get into it. Even if they've never heard of the movie, chances are they'll go based on the buzz generated by someone else's opinion.

You have your list - your targeted group of consumers. Lets use these people as marketing "hubs". Think of them as the center of a bicycle wheel and their friends as the spokes. It will be a good idea to incentivize your list to get their friends in the fold as well.

Now that we got the lingo down...

Web Marketing for the Music Business

The best way to incentivize your hubs will be to either a.) bring them closer or b.) give them things.

Try offering a free t-shirt for each fan that gives you the mailing address of 5 friends. You can then send these 5 each a free CD. From there, the process will continue with these people as well as you continue to incentivize THEM in turn.

So, how long do your keep doing this? Let's stop the giving at 1000 and get into marketing a solid product for purchase - which I'll get into later.

If you're wondering if the cost of 1000 CDs and 200 T-shirts are worth 1000 fans, the answer is YES!

What I do is consider the LIFETIME VALUE of each fan. If you treat them right, their investment in your music won't end with just 1 CD or show, or t-shirt. It will be helpful to think of Lifetime Value in order to draft your long-term marketing plan. And NO, it's not as dry as it sounds - it just makes good sense to do a little thinking, if not planning.

A Little Math
1000 promo CDs, copied and printed at home: $1000
200 T-shirts @ $3.50 per: $700

Total fan investment: $1700 / 1000 fans = $1.7 per fan.

You can call this your Aquisition Cost.

We'll now have to do a bit of estimating in order to figure out each fan's Lifetime Value:

Let's say you play 1 show every 2 months in your town. It's safe to think that if you communicate with your fans effectively, 7-10% may show up at each show.

6 shows per year, 70 fans per show, $5 cover charge: $2100

$2100 / 1000 fans = $2.10 per fan.

That's without merchandise sales, without marketing A SINGLE ITEM to your fans. You've turned a profit - albeit a small one.

Hell, your break even point is only $1.70 - that's only 57 bodies a show. ONLY 5.7% OF YOUR MAILING LIST!!!

Meanwhile you're building goodwill and loyalty which will last alot longer than you realize.

Fan Incentive Idea

Make sure this gets out to as many non-fans as possible. Hopefully before each show, you've hung posters in as many places as you can, advertising the gig. Hold a contest where you give away (free is good!) something cool to the person that takes a photo of themselves doing something crazy in front of your poster. (Pick a few winners) Let them know that they can email the photos to you, or send them via postal mail. Either way, you now have a form of return addresss in which to contact these people again because you'll need to now where to send their prize. More fans, more marketing hubs, more goodwill, more loyalty, more people at your shows, more fans, more LIFETIME VALUE per fan.

Folks, that's not how you build a band, that's how you build an enterprise.

That's how you make a LIFE in the New Music Business!
Plus you will be saving yourself the bother of reading through al those pages thatmake up a regular agreement.

Here are a few ways that you can use Free Music Business Contracts

1 Samples: Use them to get an idea of how an agreement looks. These forms are a basic agreement and as such will show you what to expect. If you are going to sign up for your first performance agreement, one of these forms is invaluable for showing you what to expect. When you come to the negotiating table well prepared you will be very likely to walk away with a favorable deal. You will be more confident and understand exactly what the clauses mean, which means the company is less likely to take advantage of you.

2 Simple performance agreements: Free Music Business Contracts are ideal for these types of agreements. They have all the elements you need for a simple agreement, without having to go through all that paper work. One of the biggest nightmares of an agreement is when you have to read through pages and pages of it. They are often so lengthy that you are tempted to skip over some things. This can prove to be a disaster in the long run. When you are just confronted with a simple form you are more inclined to read every word.

3 As a base for more complicated agreements: You can use Free Music Business Contracts to help you compile more complex agreements. There are a few ways that you can do this. The agreements can be long term commitments or recording ones that you may want to add extra clauses to. Added to this is the fact that different states and provinces may have slightly different ways of interpreting the law and you may have to modify the form to accommodate this. Royalties and performance percentages may need to be enlarged on to be sure you are getting a fair deal.

Anyone involved in the music business should seriously consider researching the ins and out of music business contracts. In this kind of industry, it is extremely important that all the legalities are sorted out in a professional and very understandable way. There are many situations where commitments only require a gentleman’s handshake, but the music industry is not one of them. There are too many situations and details that need to be addressed. For this reason many online companies have designed music contracts. These can be purchased in packages to cover all the specific areas of the industries. These contracts apply to areas such as music producers, artists, agents and musicians just to name a few.

Music Business Contract Library (Hal Leonard Music Pro Guides)

If you stop to think about it very seldom would there just be two individuals involved in a music business contract. This make occur if a person were a vocalist, composed their own music, and had no manager or agents. In addition they had no musicians. Basically the only two involved would be the vocalist and the recording studio. Its not to often that this the situation. Even then a contract would still have to be initialized. On occasion you will hear of court cases that involve a musician and an artist or a group of musicians and a recording company for example. In all probability they wasn’t any type of formal contract between the parties and a dispute arose. These types of unfortunate circumstances can and should be avoided. The following points will tell you about different features of Music Business Contracts.

101 Music Business Contracts

The important thing about the Music Business Contracts is planning a budget. The Music business contract can give you profits; however, it as well needs some early investment. Note that you can also suffer loss. Thus, planning the budget needs to be done cautiously. Spending lots of money on contracts and with good artists, place for performance and marketing is extremely vital. If you don’t spend or else care much about them, you might suffer a loss. Also spending lots of money is also not wise. You need to make a decision how and much you have to use according to the given conditions.

Music Business Contracts include numerous contracts. Among them, artists are most important. At times popular artists demand too much than really what they deserve. Their reputation can bring you several businesses however don’t forget that viewers also loves good performance. Thus, in its place you can contract the cheaper but very good artists, rather than the popular ones.
Many musicians don't pay enough attention to the business aspect of their career and as a result end up broke, in bankruptcy court and/or in bad deals. It is very important for a musician to take an aggressive look and active role in learning the day-to-day business of their music career.

The truth is that the music business aspect of your career is where you will need to spend the majority of your time if you want to have a successful and sustained music career in the music industry.

The most important thing you can do is to watch the bottom line and cover your bases by protecting your music. The music industry roads are littered with musician road kill. Artists who hit the "big time" but were barely living above poverty level.

All You Need to Know About the Music Business: Seventh Edition

A few months ago, I watched an interview with a well-known music star on a music legends show. He stated that at the beginning of his career, everything was great. He sold millions of CDs, sold out shows, and was constantly working year round, but ultimately he lost more than he ever received.

How could he have sold millions of CDs without becoming filthy rich? The explanation for how he lost money is he didn't pay close attention to the contracts he signed and who was doing what with his money. Having shrewd business acumen is crucial to your musical success.

A good way to learn how to avoid busting your music career is to watch the financial comings and goings of others who are successful in the music or entertainment business, then model your business actions after theirs.

Artist Management for the Music Business

Oprah Winfrey, Madonna, Britney Spears, Jerry Seinfeld, Dolly Parton and Mariah Carey are a few great examples of the bottom line. While you may not like one or the other, the facts are proof: They have made bank, millions of times over, and they still have that bank.

Recently I spoke with a friend Thom King of Multimediary Entertainment Marketing about artists learning the music business and the importance of knowledge. Thom has been a top executive at Clear Channel Radio as well as the head of major music industry corporations. This is what he had to say,

"There is a reason they call it this music business, because it is just that, a business. In addition, as with any business, it is critical to define each member's roles as well as the ownership of the intellectual property you are creating. You are building a business as much as you're building a band, and if you approach it that way you will be ensuring your success for years to come."
The Music Business Is The Music Business and that really is that bottom line. This applies to all businesses especially those that involve the music industry. Whether the business is between a trusted friend, an acquaintance or someone you just met, the same rules apply.

All You Need to Know About the Music Business: Seventh Edition

Many musicians or music industry entrepreneurs don't pay enough attention to the business aspect of their career and as a result end up broke or in bad deals. It is a good thing there are great musician resources out there to help.

Even if we are just talking about how to promote your CD it is crucial for a musician to take an aggressive look and active role in learning the daily business of their music career. In fact, some say that the music business aspect is where you should spend the majority of your energy in order to maintain a successful career. One of the best things you can do is protect your music and all music promotional ideas that come your way.
The music business is littered with musicians and we all know who they are, who made it big but ended up with nothing. But how did this happen, you ask? Maybe they were too focused on being stars and just signed their life away. And when that happened, everything they made went to someone else. One of the best musician resources out there is the firm understanding of music contracts and all that go with them.

This Business of Music, 10th Edition

It is all fine and dandy if you know how to promote your CD or have an entourage of people coming up with music promotional ideas. But do you know if you will even make any money off the sale of the CD? If so, how much? If you can’t answer these questions and you are in the music industry then you could be in serious trouble. So, before you even think about signing read your contract, have it reviewed and have a firm understanding of every single term.

So, take an active role in your music, the business of the industry and everything that goes along with it. For after all, this is your career and your life. You don’t want the people all around you running it with no knowledge of what is going on. If you do nothing else for yourself, then at least do yourself this very favor from day one before you even begin to worry about how to promote your CD.
There is nothing more likely to cause damage to your equipment than hauling it in and out of your vehicle every time you gig.

All You Need to Know About the Music Business: Seventh Edition

When looking for music insurance, always read the small print. It is essential you have cover not only for performing in venues, but also for periods where your instruments are left unattended in your vehicle. Most music insurance companies will have a clause which covers a small period of time when instruments are left unattended in your vehicle (usually up to 30 minutes) which is very useful when moving equipment before and after a gig.

If you are a digital musician, there is a way you can insure a laptop as a musical instrument (as not all musician insurance will cover it on it's own). When setting up your policy, be very clear that your laptop is a musical instrument connected to a MIDI controller. Explain that it is the laptop which generates the sounds of the instrument. Usually you will need to register the laptop and MIDI controller at the same time on your policy, and once this is done your laptop should be covered as a musical instrument.

One website which offers some great opportunities in this area is www.broadjam.com.

How To Get Your Songs In TV and Film

Broadjam has new opportunities every day to get your music into TV programs, feature films, computer games, etc. It does cost a small fee to submit your song to an opportunity which is the only downside, but it does prevent the opportunity from being spammed with a barrage of sub-par music.

The Emerging Film Composer: An Introduction to the People, Problems, and Psychology of the Film Music Business

Once you have submitted a song, it goes into a 'peer review process' which basically means everyone who has submitted a song to the opportunity must rate 9 other songs anonymously (in 3 sets of 3) which have also been submitted to same same opportunity. The songs with the highest score at the end of the review process get passed to the opportunity provider to pick the overall winner. You can't rig the voting process either, you have no idea who the artists are of the competing songs and you can only vote Good, Better or Best.

Why not head over to Broadjam and check it out?
