Make money by cheating, beware!

It happened to me that once, to my unawareness, I was deceived in a silly way. If you happened to be in my position, I believe you would surely do what I did.
My misfortune account here might be illogical for you to read. But, since I did experience it myself, I think it's a worth sharing.
It began in March 2006, when I was observing my compulsory Friday prayer that broad daylight. Suddenly, too my disbelief, I started to tremble. The whole of my body vibrated triggered by such unknown power. I thought it was a heart attack and I felt I was dying. The next day I went to doctor. I was then diagnosed to suffer from hypertension. I said no to the doctor when he had asked me if my oldman or my grandparents had suffered a sort of disease. The next different checkup stated that there was a lump somewhere around my left heart, but the x-rayed result turned out to be blurred.
I still couldn't go to work when I tried to ignore this uncommon disease. Some strange feeling which later on made my heart run pit-a-pat annoyed me on the way to work. From uncommon to suspicion, I found that I was "attacked" at certain times.
When I forced myself to do my 5-time prayer normally which included standing--before I had found it hard to do so that I had been doing it with all efforts including lyng on my back--there was something wrong with my body. I was shaken and felt hot all over, especially around the head. But I didn't care. I kept on praying and did some more prayers. I also started to recite the holy Koran till I felt sleepy.
On learning this I became aware that my disease was an unusual one, might related to black magic. Some more upcoming sudden attack convinced me so, let alone, when one night I was awaken only to feel a terrible pain around my heart. I was about to say good bye to my wife and our 4-month old baby girl if only the next day would be no more world for me. But soon I began to think if this was evil I should be able to combat it. So I knelt on my knee on my praying mat on the floor and uttered a prayer. Gradually, the pain was gone but not totally.
The next day, thanks God, I was still alive, but the vibration kept lingering.
I decided to find an alternative healing such as a faith healing.
So I had a series of spiritual from one faith healer to another. Soon I realised few among them were shaman or crook. How would you realise it's a trick when it comes to dying condition? Since the usual medical treatment didn't seem to cure me, where should I go?
One shaman convinced me that there were magic stuff in my body and needed removing immediately. Yes, there were as I had a spiritual surgery conducted by him (to be continued ...)

The phenomenon of Indonesian celebritries to get involved in politics, whew, it is part of making money, isnt' it? It might drive envy of the whole, especially the impoverished people due to the monetary crisis which seems never want to end in this country.
Just say names like Rano Karno or Dede Yusuf who have been vice regency and vice governoor respectively, this is the lure of power.
And in the House itself the other actors as well as comedians have already begun to 'stand for public interest' in order to make a more steady livehood. Sounds cynical? What do you think?
And now sensual actress and singer Julia Peres is continuing her bid to run in the Pacitan regency election in East Java, Indonesia. The artist, popularly known as Jupe, recently announced she had been approached by eight parties, including Hanura and Gerindra to run in the Pacitan election.
Well, we'll just wait and see how she will 'rock' the world of politics instead of making men sweat

Yes I can. I can make money daydreaming. I can buy anything I like: jewelry, car, houses and more. There is no "if". No "if only" no "on one condition".
Sounds ironic?

No, I mean, yes. Yes, I can make money by doing nothing. All I have to do is just wait for somebody to give a pile of money. Next, we play the game together. Something wrong with me if I am pleased with pretend money?

Still I can make a lot of money. Just give me a sheet of printed paper, some ink, carbon paper, a pencil and ... Okay... Okay. it's ridiculous.

But one thing for sure: I, you, everybody, can make money by doing nothing. How come?

Of course, we know it. After successfully doing anything we wanted too and being settled down, money will come to our pocket due to what we invested in the past.

Beware of strangers

It took two days and three nights to go to Pekanbaru from Semarang by bus, and I was ready for a boring trip. I took ALS, the famous Java-Sumatera transportation. The sky was very, very clear that Sunday afternoon. There were less than twenty passengers on the bus, and I thought I was the only one who was traveling all alone. The bus left town at 3 o’clock p.m.

On the way, the bus picked up some more passengers from its travel agent, terminal and also on the street. It made several annoying stops. However, until the next morning when it reached Merak harbor and was ready to enter the ship, the seat beside me was still vacant. I was lucky because I could then have a good sleep in two seats.

On Sumatera the bus transited in Lampung. A black-skinned man, younger than me—I guessed, got on the bus and sat beside me. He told me that he wanted to go to the same town as I did. Even though I actually felt disturbed, we became friends. We talked about many things during the trip. His name was Eko. He was a Javanese whose parents had transmigrated to Lampung twenty five years ago. Eko was born in Lampung, but he spoke Javanese. He spoke Indonesian too, and it sounded good, though he admitted he had not gone to formal school.

Around the Jambi-Rio border—I was not really sure, we stopped for dinner. It was late at midnight, around twelve pm, and I was awfully sleepy. Not all passengers went off to have dinner at the Padang restaurant, which was well known for its spicy and expensive food.

As I fell full, I did not intend to eat. I lazily got off, but kept staying close by the bus.
Suddenly a stranger, looking a mess, approached.

“Are you from Java?” he asked me without mentioning specifically what part of Java I was from. I nodded. “I want to ask you a favor, if you don’t mind?”
“Sure. I’ll help you if I can,” I said.
“Actually, I’m going to see Haji Suparno somewhere in Java, but I lost my way and money. Can you tell me where I can find him?”
‘Who is Haji Suparno?” I was confused with his question. “There are uncountable men named Suparno in Java.”
“That’s too bad, In fact, I’m eager to see him. I am after a precious sacred thing that belongs to him. I have a pair one. Please help me.”

I did not know what to say. Somebody suddenly stood right in front of me, and I suggested that he asked the man. I was tired and not interested at all in any weird things. All I wanted to do was finish this tiring trip.
“I have some stuff that I bought from Haji Suparno. It can duplicate money and bring prosperity,” he told the man. “It’s rare. Every body who catches a glimpse of it will be amazed. Let me show you!”

He showed the man the thing kept in his wrinkled palms. He only gave him about five seconds. The man cried out with amazement.

“Gee!” so it is true! That’s not ordinary stuff. Believe me, friend.” The man tried to convince me. “This is the first time … I have never seen such a wonderful stuff like that.” The man ignored me and enthusiastically asked further. “Where did you get it? It’s incredible!”

Next, how come, the man came to me again and said, “Let’s go to that corner. There are many people here. You have to see this miracle, man. It’s a great chance.” I saw both of the men were nervous. They forced me to come with them to a quieter place and I did as suggested. It was quite dark under a big tree.

“Do you have a knife?” one of the men asked me.
“No, don’t. What’s it for?” I asked.
He didn’t’ answer me. Instead he said, “That’s okay. How about a razor blade or a needle …?”
“That’s crazy. I don’t’ bring that kind of stuff with me.”
‘Well, never mind. Money will do, too. You must have five hundred rupiahs with you, mustn’t’ you?”

What was this all about? Suddenly I had a strange feeling about these guys. I tried to trace back form the moment I had met these strange men. They had seemed to know each other, even though one of them had said that he had been a passenger of another bus parked there. A knife, a razor, a needle, all was sharp, dangerous things; it might have to do with …. Magic? Trick? They could seize my wallet as soon as I took it out of my pocket and showed it to them. Suddenly I realized I was in trouble. The man that had wanted to know further about Haji Suparno could be a bait to do me harm. Right away I left them alone without a word.

My suspicion grew. They seemed to be disappointed with my attitude. I kept an eye on them from a distance and finally I was sure they were partners. They had tried to set me up, but they had failed. The man who had admitted to having “sacred thing” seemed to be reluctant to entice another man. He was sitting under the big tree sadly. His friend stealthily came to him from behind the tree.

From Eko I knew that they were bad guys. They used a trick to hypnotize a man, and then robbed him. I was lucky that I had become aware in advance about this trickery. I could not imagine what would have happened to me if I had followed all the instruction and lost my money before I arrived in Pekanbaru. Let alone, I had never been in that town before.

Based on my true experience. If you guys have to travel alone to a far place by bus, stay away from strangers, especially the one that isn’t on the same bus.
