I have just recieved another £12 ($24) payment from Matched for this month and that now makes it my biggest earner for this blog. I have recently found this great website called Onlywire.com that allow you to sumbit your site or a page of your site to what is currently 22 social bookmarking sites with just one click. Its really easy to do and its free! Just make an account with them and then enter your password and username for the social bookmarking services that you wish to use. You can choose to use as many as want - maybe the whole 22 or just a few. Once you have done that you simply drag the link into your browser and use whenever you want to bookmark something.

I have been using for this blog and other squidoo lenses that I have made. On this blog I am now seeing quite a few visits from digg, several from stumble upon and the occasional visits from the other 22 that Onlywire provides. On my squidoo lenses that I used it on I noticed that it helped them get indexed in Google super quick and gave them a quick surge of traffic. Here is a list of the services that you can use:

Do you need some money to invest in your online business or just get you started? I'm sure you do - it is very hard to start making money online without an initial investment. (it can be done - read my post about how to make money online without investment) There are several ways that you can make a little bit to start you off but note that these are not proper businesses by any means.

1) Sell Stuff On Ebay

Hunt around your house for stuff that you don't really want or need any more and sell it on Ebay. You can't expect to make a lot doing this but you could easily raise over $100. People on Ebay will be willing to buy nearly anything - you'd be suprised!

2) Sell your Services

If you're a good writer then you can easily write articles for people. In actual fact you do not need to be great at writing most people are lazy and just want someone else to write for them. At Digitial Point Forums find the section called 'content creation' and you can sure to find some jobs needing to be done in their.

You can also do the same if you are good at programming, graphic design or anything else which might be of use to people. You can find jobs at digital point.

3) Complete Surveys and Offers

This can be a little tedious at times but ANYONE can do it and if you really need some money to get your business started up then I would certainly recommend it. I personally would not recommend taking surveys, as it offers very poor pay and often requries quite a bit of time. However, many websites will also pay you to complete offers. (for example, you might be asked to sign up to a free website, enter your email address etc...) You will be payed a lot more for these normally about $0.50 - $2 for free offers and anything from $5 - $20 for paid offers. I would recommend using CashCrate for this.

This is a great video explaining Twitter. It has had a lot of buzz recently and is becoming very popular. If you havn't already heard of Twitter then this video will explain everything.

I am sure you see its potential after watching this short video. For huge popular bloggers and influential people in the area of internet marketing ... and I hate to call them this but the so called "gurus" it is very useful. Lots of people want to know what they are doing and learn their secrets and so they can utlize to drive huge traffic to either blogs or websites.

My Second Payment From 'Matched' With Proof!

A relatively new website called Matched is paying its members £3 each month to display one small ad on their website. They allow to display a total of 5 ads which means £15 a month for us ... and you add 5 different sites. Whether you have a large or small amount of traffic to your site you can still join Matched.

I made a post about them a while back talking about how you get a free £5 just for signing up. The reason why I am telling you about them again is because I just received my secound payment from them and here is a screen shot just to show you.

Matched is a great way to monetize a small site or blog regardless of the traffic it receives. Because it is beta testing I am still waiting for my other five ads to be asigned to the other pages and when that happens I will let you know because then I will be able to make £15 a month from it. Then I can do the same on five other sites.

Ok a while ago I was searching google for some ways to access myspace and facebook at work or at school. As most offices and school block certain websites like this to stop their employees getting distracted. Just out of curiosity I decided to check out the number of searches for some of the keywords I searched for.

I soon realised that this was quite a popular topic and there were little competition within Google. So I headed over to squidoo, if you don't already know all about Squidoo, which you certainly should! Then take a look at some of my other posts about it. I quickly made a lens about my keywords with some affiliate links to amazon books about myspace and how to make money on it. Not being too hopeful I soon forgot about this lens.

Without even touching it for a week or so, I logged into my Squidoo account and was shocked to see that I had got over500 views since making it, and in the last seven days over 100! AND I had made 2 amazon sales! I know this isn't that much but it was such a nice suprise to see that you really can achieve a fair amount of traffic and a little money :) without really doing anything.

Forums can be a great place to get traffic to your site and also free backlinks. There are forums about almost any topic and niche which you can join. Simply, do a Google search for your niche + "forum" and you will be suprised at the number of searches returned.

Optimise Your Signature

Most forums will allow you to put a link in your signature and sometimes even images. Make sure you include you site in your signature but you also need to make sure that they achor text is attractive. For example, don't just write something like "my blog" think more a lines of "learn how to make $100s every day!" Think about it... what would you rather click on?

Start a Thread or Discussion

Starting your own thread with some useful information in it will encourage people to click on your signature link. If they have found the info useful they will regard you with more authority and will trust what ever you are promoting in your signature. Starting a discussion or argument will also make your thread a lot more popular.

I have certainly seen a boost in traffic from being active in one or two forums. And digital point forums are one of my largest referrers.

This new service is certainly going to prove to be absolutely huge. A new company called My Search Funds pay you and me for searching Google exactly like normal. Commenting on other people's blog is a great way to boost your traffic. I was never entirely sure how effective this method was so I thought I would give it ago. I picked out some blogs that I read and liked about "making money online". I spend some time on each one reading old posts and leaving relevant comments.

Some blogs even have a widget in their sidebar that displays the top commenters. This is great because it means that if you are an active commenter you will get recognised and rewarded with a link on every page of their blog. After spending some time leaving quite a few comments on Shoemoney, I soon appeared in the top commenters section. Several days later I checked my number of links and I had just gained over 1,000 new backlinks - all from this one blog! And just from being an active commenter I had got a surge of traffic from Shoemoney. If you found this blog from another blog comment then it is proof that this really works!

I set about doing this on other blogs, mainly choosing ones that had this widget in the sidebar. Sure enough I got a lot of traffic over the next few weeks just from these blogs and I also got a lot of backlinks.

However, make sure that the comments you leave add some value to the post that you have just read. Add some extra information to the post or something that you think should be included. Don't just say something like "Great post! Thanks a lot" unless you genuinely been it. Writing longer, more informative comments will also make you seem more authorative and will increase chances of people visiting your blog. Feel free to comment on this blog and utilize this technique!

How To Make Money Online With No Investment

I received an email the other day from a guy who had found my email address on here, which was the first email I had had regarding this blog so it was a pleasant suprise and he told me how he had wasted a lot of money on adwords and he asked me for a simple way to make money on the internet with no investment. So I replied to his email and ented up writing a hell of a lot and so I thought I would share it with you here.

There are many different ways to make money online with no investment but for this post I will be discussing a method that I use to a lot of success.

Step 1 - Find A Profitable Niche

A "niche" is an area of demand for information and/or a product. Head over to the WordTracker Free Keyword Tool and search for some broad niches. Be creative here, you can search for anything as long as you know a bit about it. Pick out some long-tail keywords (keywords that have more than two words in them.) The reason for this is because if we use a keyword such as "hypnosis" or "self hypnosis" there is going to be huge competition out there and we are not likely to get a good position in Google or other search engines. Once you have found a long tail keyword, but not too long or not many people will search for it, and with little competition on google(something under 10,000 results when searched for in quotes) we can start setting up our free blog.

Step 2 - Adsense or Affiliate Program

Once you have chosen a suitable niche and keyword you must now decide, before you create a free blog whether you wish to promote an affiliate product or utilize adsense. If you niche as an obvious product that relates directly to it then by all means use that but if you are struggling to find an affiliate product on clickbank.com or commissionjunction.com then you should use Google Adsense.

Step 3 - Set Up A Free Blog

User Blogger.com to set up a free blog around this longtail keyword. Preferably, try and make sure that they keyword is in the url of the blog. This will is for SEO purposes and also make sure that the title of the blog is the keyword. Once you have done this, over the next few days make a few posts to the blog about the niche you chosen but specifically the keyword. After each post make sure you ping your blog using www.pingoat.com or www.pingomatic.com. This will alert the search engines that you have updated it and help get you indexed more quickly.

Step 4 - Flood Your Blog With Traffic

If you have a good keyword with little competition on Google and a large number of monthly searches and you have good content. Then traffic will come to you but this is sometimes hard and you may need to do a little work on traffic to start it rolling. As well as updating the blog regularily for the first few weeks or so you should sumbit a few articles about your niche or keyword to ezinearticles.com and other directories. This will get you good links, so you will appear higher in google, and also some good traffic.

Sumbit each of posts to social bookmarking services like Digg and Stumble Upon and provide a link on your blog to do this. This will also help with traffic.

There are many ways to get traffic to your blog (take a look at some of my other posts to see how) but for this method we are mainly concentrating on natural search engine traffic as this is easy and free. A really great free keyword tool that I have been using now for a few months is Good Keywords. It is really simple and easy to use and plus it is completely free. It has many useful aspects about it. It allows you to find misspelled keywords and build keyword lists organize them. Below is a screenshot of the main window and the various tools can be seen.

I would certainly recommend downloading it if don't already have a decent keyword tool and plus its free, so you have nothing to lose.

Getting listed in search engines such as Google, Yahoo and Msn quickly can sometimes be a real challenge. By following a few necessary steps you can get you site or blog indexed sometimes within a few days even less. Some people have even had their sites indexed within Google in less than 24 hours. Follow these steps and you can't go wrong.

1) Make sure you list your site in The Open Directory - www.dmoz.org This is a great directory run by volunteers. To get your site listed within this directory simply visit the site and find the category that most fits your site. Once you have done this the click on the "Add Url" link at the top of that page.

2) Sumbit your site manually to Google- You can sumbit your site manually to Google by visiting www.google.com/addurl. Google make it clear that there is no guarantee of your site getting indexed in this process but at least it is a place to start. To submit your site to MSN you can visit http://search.msn.com/docs/submit.aspx and carry out a similar process. Yahoo's direct submission tool can be found at https://siteexplorer.search.yahoo.com/submit.

3) Write Articles about you Site - Writing articles about topics that relate to your site can be a great way for search engines to find your site and also a great way to build links. I would recommend writing a few articles at www.ezinearticles.com about topics related to your site. This way you will get found much quicker.

4) Get other sites to link to you - If you have found other well ranked sites in Google about the same topic as your site you can email them and ask for a link exchange (i.e. they display your link and you display theirs). If you write a professional and appealing letter there is a large chance they will agree and thus you will definitely get indexed within Google.

Unless you have a really good idea for a new and original website that you think will get lots of traffic the best and easiest way to make money with Adsense is by identifying a niche topic and setting up a small informative site with well-placed and intergrated ads. Once you have done this go about generating some traffic. (see my other posts for more info on how to do this) The more Adsense optimised sites you have the better so start building your "Adsense empire" now!
