Using Google Keyword Tool

First you need to look how many people are using your chosen keyword on search engine. You need to target which keyword you want to optimize, of course you must pick low competitor keyword or you will stuck on your keyword. To check how many people searching with your related keyword you can use Google Adword to check it. https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal is free tool from adwords to determine how many people search using Google. Once you have your own list, pick what keyword you want to dominate.

Second, you need to optimize all your page with your related keyword including title, descriptions, meta tag, anchor tag, image tittle etc. My advice for dominating your keywords is, pick the lowest competitive keyword, you can use Google to check your competitors by query your keyword on Google search engine.

Image tag works well on optimizing your blog. Always add your important keyword on your image alt tag.
