And in case, you want this keyword tool to include all pages from your website for keywords finding, keep it checked.

I entered the URL of my blog http://www.scopeformoney.com in the box available and press ‘Get Keywords idea’ button. This time also, I got a list of keywords with drop down menu and could view this list in various forms according to my requirements.

Currently I’m use Google analytics to monitor all visitor activities on my websites and blogs. Prior to this, I was using Statcounter to keep track of visitors on my websites. I love Google analytics because it gives me lots of details about the people that are visiting my website.

Some facts about Google analytics

Google analytics is a free traffic monitoring service offered by Google that webmasters and bloggers use to monitor the traffic on their websites and blogs. Google analytics (GA) can track all kind of referrals including referrals from search engines, display advertising, PPC networks, e-mail marketing and PDF documents. We can monitor up to 50 websites with a single account on GA.

How to use Google Analytics

To start using GA, we need to create an account on Google analytics. If you have already a gmail account or Google account, you can use that to sign up on GA. If you don’t have a account on Gmail or Google.com, create an account on any of them. Once you complete the information asked during the sign up process, you will be offered some ready to use Java Script code that you will need to add to your website or blog template from where it will be visible on all pages in your website/blog.

Once you have added the GA tracking code in your website template, click on the ‘Check Status’ link available in your GA account. By clicking this link, you will know if you have installed the Urchin (GA code) properly on your website or not. Now check your GA account after 5-6 hours, you will have access to visitors stats that visited your website in the last few hours. Traffic stats that are available through Google Analytics cab be 3-4 hours in arrears of real time.

So you can expect these web browsers giving you the most of traffic on your website. Safari, Netscape, Opera and NetFront are some other web browsers people use to browse internet.

Direct Traffic

It will inform you about the number of people who actually open your website directly by typing your website URL in their address bar.

Increasing your rankings and authority on Technorati

How you people know the blog you are visiting is a popular blog? I use certain parameters to know the popularity of a blog like Google page rank, Alexa Rankings and Technorati Authority and its rankings. In today’s post, I will talk about ways to increase a blog authority and rankings on Technorati.

Technorati Account - First of all if you have a blog, create an account on Technorati and claim your blog there to start increasing your rankings and authority on Technorati.
Dofollow Blogs - Find a list of dofollow blogs by making a search for ‘Dofollow blogs list’ on Google. Also if you spend some time on webmaster, Internet marketing or search engine related forums, you will be able to find many list of dofollow blogs. Sitepoint, DPforum, SoChat, webproworld are some of big discussion forums about internet marketing, search engines, seo, blogging and affiliate marketing kind of stuff.
Link Exchange - create a big list of top bloggers in your niche with their contact information. When you have the list, send them the e-mail request explaining that you are willing to exchange link with their blogs. When you do it, try to be as much polite you can and don’t send the same e-mail format to all bloggers in your niche. Create a general e-mail format and then give it the personalized look by filling the information like blogger’s name, blog address, blog title, favorite post etc before sending it to each blogger.
Social Bookmarking - create a strong profile on top social media sites and submit your latest blog posts there. I would recommend using Digg, Mixx.com, Sphinn and stumbleupon if you are specially looking for ways to increase your Technorati authority and rankings.
Site & blog list - create a list of websites and blogs that are linking to you and then ping all of these URL’s one by one using Technorati Pinging form.
Content updation - write quality content on your blog and keep the posts coming to your blog on regular basis. Once you have added a new post to your blog, don’t forget to ping Technorati.
Guest blogging - use the blogger’s list that you created in step 2 and ask them you are willing to write a guest post on their blogs. In most of the cases, they will allow you for guest blogging. How to start using Google Reader

Google reader is a web based aggregator offered by Google which is capable of reading RSS and Atom feeds online as well as offline. I use Google Reader to manage all of my favorite bloggers and news site feeds. Google reader has lots of features like:

Attractive interface that enables you to check all new items with a click
Facility to import and export RSS feeds list in OPML file format
Expended and list view option available for each item
Easy marking of items being read in bulk and individually
Easy addition of new RSS feeds
Use Starred symbol for items that you want to use in near future
Reading all recent items whether online or offline
Using labels for managing RSS feeds in a better way

Add Subscriptions

Users can subscribe to RSS feeds by making a search with keywords of choice in ‘Add Subscription’ option available. Suppose you are looking for blog and sites for subscription that writes about ‘Making money online’, enter this keyword in search box that you get after clicking ‘Add Subscription’ link. Now you will have big list of sites and blogs with their subscriber’s count. To subscribe to any of RSS feed available in your search results, simply click on ‘Subscribe’ button. And if you already know the address of RSS feed you are willing to subscribe, simply paste its URL in ‘Add Subscription’ link.

RSS Management

By now you have entered the list of RSS feeds in your Google reader that you are aiming to monitor. Now it is the time to manage them in a better way. You can sort items by ‘oldest’, ‘newest’ or ‘Auto’ sorting under ‘View Settings’ option. With this, you can view items in ‘Expended View’ or ‘List view’

RSS Items Access

With Google reader, we can view recently added items whether we are online or offline. To set up Google Reader for offline use, we need to install ‘Google Gears’ extension. When we have activated the ‘Google Gears’ extension, we are able to view 2000 most recent items even if we are offline.

Import/Export Facility

Google reader has a great feature that enables us to Import or Export all RSS feed URLS in an OPML file format. This facility is especially helpful if you are willing to switch all of your current RSS Feeds to another account or are willing to subscribe to a big list of RSS Feeds in Bulk.

Requirements for Google reader

To start using Google Reader, you must have a Google Account and Java Script enabled with any of following browsers:

Mozilla Firefox 1.0+
Netscape 7.2+
Opera 9.0+

Text link ads sent two payments
