However, with so much focus on the design, one loses sight on the content of your copy. Having a general audience will leave you with a lot of things and preferences that you should narrow down and choose to focus on. And even if you come up with a preference or an idea that you will focus on, it is not a sure thing that this will work since there are just too many factors to consider. Limiting these factors and targeting a specific niche will make it easier for you to connect and have that one on one relationship that you want your readers to feel.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;What's next?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Always include in detail what you want your readers to do next. Do not leave them hanging. If you want them to visit your website, tell that in your brochures. Businesses also order wholesale prints to save on production costs whenever they need materials for their advertising or marketing campaigns.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;How come they are so cheap? &lt;br&gt;Many questions arise as to why wholesale prints are so much more affordable than regular prints and commercial prints. And because many people do not fully understand the processes involved in the production of these prints, they just assume that the prints are made form low quality materials.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;This is not true.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Not only are wholesale printers produce materials that have the same quality as commercial printers, some even surpass them. The reason why wholesale printers are more affordable than commercial printers is the way that it produces your prints.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Wholesale printers use two methods that make print production very much affordable:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;1.	Offset Printing method - offset printing is the most efficient way that you can produce bulk prints. Large numbers of prints are very easy to produce at a fast turn around. The rollers are used to "stamp" the inks in place and ensure that your ink will not flake off your paper unlike in digital printing. When you crumple or fold your materials printed through digital methods, the ink will flake off because the bond between the ink and the substrate is not that strong. That is not the case in offset printing. As you can see, offset printing is in fact the better choice when it comes to quality prints.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;2.	Gang running - is the other method that wholesale printers use to maximize the production cost. Gang running involves using several designs ad laying them out in a single plate as opposed to the traditional method of putting one design per plate. This makes the production cost lower since the cost of plate production is shared between the owners of the designs. The more designs there are in those plates, the lesser the cost of your prints. Also, since the cost of plate production is covered, the bigger the number of your prints, the less your price per piece becomes. This is because the bulk of your production cost is based on the production of the plates, once the plates are produced, the cost of printing goes down considerably. For example, you printed 2000 posters a week ago and decided you want to print another batch of the same posters. You call your printer and ask if the plates are still available. If they are, you'll see that the cost of your prints will be considerably lower.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Here's another secret: When you double the amount of your prints, the price of your orders will not be doubled. Using the same principle that I discussed above, the printing company will only charge you a minimal fee since the plate is already produced.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Where to get your prints?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;1.	Trade Printers - these printers are exclusively printing in bulk and in wholesale so going to a trade printer is your best bet.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;2. Strange though, it seems that I still get the same number of telemarketing calls... well... Life goes on&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) issued the amended Telemarketing Sales Rule on January 29, 2003. This legislation gives the FTC and state attorneys general law enforcement tools to combat telemarketing fraud.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The rule gives consumers added privacy protections and defenses against unscrupulous telemarketers and prohibits the calling of customers who have put their phone numbers on the National Do Not Call Registry.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Many states also have laws regulating telemarketing. The FTC and the FCC are working with states to harmonize Do Not Call requirements at state and federal levels for a unified national system.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The amended TSR regulates "telemarketing" - defined in the Rule as "a plan, program, or campaign to induce the purchase of goods and services." Telemarketers MUST NOT:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;- Call numbers on the National Do Not Call Registry or on that sellers Do Not Call list.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;- Deny or interfere with a person's right to be placed on any Do Not Call Registry.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;- Call outside permissible calling hours.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;- Fail to transmit Caller ID information.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;- Threaten or use obscene language to a customer.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;- Cause a telephone to ring or converse with a person with the intent to harass, annoy, or abuse the person called. (Thank You!)&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;INFORMATION THAT MUST BE DISCLOSED BY TELEMARKETERS:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Before a Consumer Pays: &lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Before telemarketers get a consumers consent to purchase - or persuade a customer to send full or partial payment by check, money order, or any other means - they must provide the customer with the information required by Section 310.3(a)(1) of the Rule. (&lt;a TARGET="_new" href="http://www.fcc.gov/"&gt;http://www.fcc.gov&lt;/a&gt;)&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Telemarketers must provide the information in a "Clear and Conspicuous" way before asking for any credit card information, or any other information that could be used for them to accept payment. Clear and Conspicuous means that information is presented in a way that a consumer will notice and understand. Oral disclosures are required to be delivered at an understandable speed and pace and in the same tone and volume as the sales offer.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The Rule specifies six broad categories of information that telemarketers must provide to consumers:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;1. Cost and Quantity.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;2. Material Restrictions, Conditions or Limitations.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;3. Performance, or Central Characteristics.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;4. Refund, Repurchase, or Cancellation Policies.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;5. Material Aspects of Prize promotions.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;6. Affiliations, Endorsements or Sponsorships.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The Rule requires "express verifiable authorization" when payment is made by a method other than a credit card (subject to the Truth in Lending Act and Regulation Z), or a debit card (subject to the Electronic Fund Transfer Act and Regulation E). The Rule requires that when customers in telemarketing transactions pay by such methods, telemarketers must meet a higher standard of proving authorization.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The "express verifiable authorization" requirement does not apply to conventional checks that a consumer writes and mails, money orders also. These payment methods have been used for years and consumers are familiar with the relative risks of each.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Under the Rule, authorization is considered verifiable if it is obtained in one of three ways:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;1. Advance written authorization from the customer.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;2. An audio recording of the consumer giving express oral authorization.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;3. Start by asking a few tough questions, and don't do a thing till you have the answers. It might seem difficult at first, or even a waste of time; go through the exercise nonetheless, and voila! see what a difference it makes to your advertising strategy.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Question 1: What do I hope to achieve through advertising? That, my dear friend, is the million dollar question. Advertising can yield different results, depending on a number of variables, such as the intensity of the campaign, message type and quality, medium of exposure, length of the promotion and so on. Turn that statement on its head - and you will know what needs to be done to achieve the results that you need. For example, if you wish to build awareness for your brand, or create long term relationships with customers, creating an advertising plan that is high on "quick burst" tactical measures like a "limited offer till stocks last" won't do. Although, that may certainly help clear slow moving stocks!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Question 2: How do I go about achieving these objectives? This is largely for the advertising agency to answer, and their recommendations will depend on considerations of cost, timing, frequency and urgency of the message, competitive action... and so on. But before they come up with ideas, you need to clearly specify the target audience and its key characteristics. Creating an advertising plan involves deciding media, message and method. There's a wide variety of media to play with - ranging from radio to direct mail and event marketing. Each has its own charm and pitfalls, which you will be well advised to familiarize yourself with, before making a choice. The message is a lot harder to deal with - many advertisers try to be everything to all people, and that's the worst thing to do. Keep the message focused, make it simple and ensure that it answers an unmet need or highlights the unique benefit that only your product offers. Once that is out of the way, the campaign execution will follow naturally. Deciding the intensity, frequency and timing of the campaign is an equally important aspect of creating an advertising plan. If your sales cycle is highly seasonal, it is best to time the activity just prior to the beginning of the season and run it through its peak. On the other hand, companies that sell fast moving consumer goods, that are needed pretty much all year round, need to invest in more sustained advertising activity.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Question 3: How do I measure results? And that is the worst one of all! Advertising is notorious for its immeasurability. A campaign's effectiveness may not show up as a sharp spike in sales, but can you deny the heightened brand recall it creates in the mind of potential customers? Likewise, a direct marketing effort certainly costs more per "unit" than a print ad, but may result in higher immediate sales. Discuss deliverables with the agency before they go about creating an advertising plan for your company. After all, there's no fun in spending big bucks and turning out a creative campaign if you don't know what's really in it for you!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Having answered these questions, you will be ready to start creating an advertising plan.
