This is very much going to be an unbiased, truthful and Informative Beauty Magazine. I have gone out to so many shops looking for just a down to earth Beauty magazine and I cannot find one anywhere. All I have found is health and beauty sections in magazines, nothing out there for the beauty fanatics. So I'm going to work my fingers to the bone to come up with something really amazing to present to the publishers.

Start posting me your ideas on what you want to see in it now so I can start fitting it all together in design form.

Skins care review

I recently tried out a couple of skins care products. Both very different.
The first one I tried out was 'mudd' original mask. It is a deep cleansing pure clay formula face mask. The one I got came in a squeezey sachet and is usable for up to 10 applications. It completely depends on your preference on thickness of application to how long it last but it is quite a thick clay so you dont really have to paste it on. You can get the 'mudd' original mask in trial sachets which or just one application sachets.
You are advised by the instructions to keep the mask on for 10 - 15 minutes. If you aren't used to wearing clay masks then it might start to feel uncomfortable as it sets as it tightens your skin. You just need to stick with it.

Personally I would advise not to use face masks daily. It's like using exfoliators, if you use it to regularly you can really dry your skins out because you are removing the top layer of your skins which is vital for protecting your new skins which is developing underneath. As you get older and have more mature skin you develop new layers of skins slower so it doesn't effect your skins as much to use masks or exfoliators, in fact it will remove any dead skins cells you have to give you a smoother touch.

The second product I have tried out if the purifying foaming cleanser from 'Dr. nick Lowe Dermotologist' it's is super smoothe and easy to use. You use it after you have washed your face briefly just to soften the skin. You just apply one plunge onto your hand and rub it into your skin. It does have a small amount of exfoliating beads in it but you barely feel them, they just remove any dead skin cells you have on your face. As it isnt a harsh exfoliant the cleanser is suitable to use daily. The directions advise t use once in the morning and then again in the evening. When I bought this product I expected it to be a liquid which foams up when you rub it into your face but it is just foam as it comes out. It is really easy to spread around the face and it is really light and rubs in very easily. After you have applied it yo just rinse it off with Luke warm water. Easy as really. This product you can buy for around £10 which I think is reasonable because it comes in a large bottle so it lasts quite a while, also it feeds a lot of vitamins in to your skin to make it healthier, such asvitimins A, C and E which maximises skins absorption at cellular level. It also adds niacinamide which targets skin which is prone to spots and blemishes and salicylic acid, willow bark and arnica which are anti bacterials.

Soo try them out!!!

Quick Tips.

EyeBrows

Eye brows should always start above where your eyes start.

(If they start after, you eyes will appear close together)

End your eye brows just beyond where your eye finishes.

Using a brush handle, or any thing long and strain, line up from the edge of your nostril to far side of your iris, where the line hits your eye brow is where the arch should be.

Hey guys and gals! Good news, i'm on the mend now!

I am going to a wedding tomorrow which gave me an idea so when I get back I am going to post a new tutorial on formal makeup. So next time you are going to a wedding or party for one of your long lost relatives you can have a unique look but still let people think you aren't going too crazy.

I will do a simple but unique look which you can adapt with your own twists.

I got a rather lovely make-up box that fits all my make-up in perfectly for christmas!

It is one of the smaller vanity boxes but it is the right size for my makeup. You can get different sizes but always be aware that if you are moving around a lot for clients you don't want a box that is too heavy. Also on the website you can get the suitcase styles vanity cases which have the long handle and wheels making is easy to transport around with you. The cases are very sturdy and have enough compartments for all your different makeup. Also with the larger cases, even if you aren't going to fill it, it gives you more room to keep all your makeup organised i.e. skin, eyes, pigments, brushes.

2011 is very quickly creeping up on us!
How do you think the world of beauty is going to change?

Every year new styles, artists. products and fashions come into the world of beauty to make their stamp.
It is hard to predict the change as the world we live in now, change has to be massive, something you can't see coming. Every day brings new ideas so if you think you have an idea of how you can put your stamp on the beauty world go for it! How ever competitive the make-up industry is, the more minds the ore exciting styles come along so get on in there!!!

Eye Lash Review Coming!!

I have got the four set of eye lashes below to review for you guys. I chose four completely different styles so that I can show you how each look on, how easy they are to apply and what style they go best with.

I will update to let you know when my review will me up.

Green and Gold Wings

Green and Gold Wings

1. Use a white eye pencil across both eye lids and blend it to even it out. This creates an even base and will also boost the colours you apply after.

2. Using a black eye shadow or dark green create a V-shape from the corner of you eye to the beginning of your crease.

3. Blend the dark green or black inwards toward the middle of your eye lid with a lighter green.

4. With a small brush blend a yellow eye shadow from the inside corner of your eye to meet the green in the middle. Also add a touch of yellow around the outside of the wing.

5. Using the same yellow and small brush, add yellow under the lower lash line from corner to corner of your eye.

6. Use a gold eye pencil to line the upper lash line.

7. Add a little white shimmer just below the brow, this will open up the eye more and blend the yellow out a little.

8. Last of all, finish by a light coat of mascara to your upper lashes to add more of a frame to your eye.

Cut Crease.

Cut Crease

I Usually create video logs for my tutorials, I am going to write step by step tutorials here for each of my looks for you so that you can try them out yourself.

If you benefit better by video tutorials I will create a link for each of my looks that I have a video for.

Right lets start!!

1. Prepare the eyes for the make-up with a primer. I like to use Urban Decay's eyeshadow primer potion as it has a wand which is easy to use, also the product has a smooth consistency which makes it easy to spread over the eyes evenly.

2. Use a white eye pencil to cover both eye lids then use your finger to blend it out evenly. If the white doesn't appear light enough try adding another layer.

3. Using an ink based eyeliner with an angled brush. Again I stick with Urban Decay with their Ink for Eyes in black. Create a curve above your crease line extending just to the temple. (It doesn't particularly matter that the curve is neat at this stage.)

4. Using a smokey eyeliner brush, or any small stiff brush, blend a black eye shadow upwards from the curve you created with the ink eye liner. Don't go below the curve or you won't get the sharp line cut crease. After you have applied the black use a clean blending brush so soften the upper of the black.

5. Now it's time to start the lower curved line. Using the ink based eye liner again, create a curve starting from where your nose meets your eye and along under the lower lash line and along the temple.

6. Again with the black eyeshadow do the same as you did with the first line, but blending it downwards. Also soften this line with a blending brush.

7. Add a touch of colour to the bottom line with a soft brush, in my case I used green but you can really use what ever colour you want to.

8. So, both curves are finished now, to make them stand out a bit more you can add a touch more white eye pencil along the lower lash line and in-between the curves on the temple.

9. To add just a little more detail and glamour I added small gems to the space in-between the curves on my temple, but you can really add them where ever you want, be experimental and add your own twist to the look.

10. Last of all I added a small amount of white eyeshadow just under my brow and just below the bottom curve to just blend it all out a little more.

Vwolla! and your look should be complete.

I am going to use my first blog to let you know what I will be posting and what I have set my blog up for.

I am starting in the makeup artist profession and I would like to share what ever I learn with YOU!

I will be showing you my work and designs and how you can achieve them easily. Also I will let you know what brands and certain makeup products I like to work with.
