New Sunglasses =)

Just got me a new pair of "DG" sunglasses.

Love these babies and I can look fabulous for a quarter of the cost.

I would love to be able to afford every name brand product out there.

But this is how I "ball on a budget".

Definitely support knock off products when the time calls for it.

Friday Nails =)

I have decided to do nails every Friday! These were my nails for today.

I used two polishes from my spoiled collection;

the S025 Ants in my Pants and the S035 Pirate's Booty along

with Sally Hansen's Hard Nails Extreme Wear in Celeb City(the silver color).

I started off by cleaning the old polish off my nails with my

CVS strengthening polish remover.

I then did a layer of my Sally Hansen Strengthening Base Coat.

After this step,

I applied A coat of Ants in my Pants (the reddish sparkly color) to each nail.

Then I applied the Celeb city (about 3 coats) to both ring fingers;

and applied Pirate's Booty(the gold color) to the remaining nails(about 3 coats).

I then applied another layer of Ants in my Pants to each nail.

To finish off I added a coat of Sally Hansen's Inst-Dri Anti-Chip

Top Coat and cleaned some of the "runaway" polish with q-tips.

And that was my Friday Nails. Hope you enjoyed. =)

things in my part 1 of B2S shopping.

Back to School Shopping! =)

Spoiled Nail Polish Collection! =)

So I did some research and found that the

Spoiled Nail Polish Collection is a CVS exclusive polish by Wet n Wild!

I have asked several of my friends if they have heard of it and none have!

This is such a good brand; there are 72 colors total

in the collection and the polishes are only $1.99 each.

When I first spotted these polishes they were on sale for 99 cents a piece

so I grabbed a whole bunch of them.

This brand is really underrated; the polish is really easy to work with

and shows as good as a lot of the more expensive polishes.

I would recommend this brand to anyone looking for good polish at a decent price.

I think everyone should give this brand a try and for only $1.99,

Just wanted to share a quick product line that I highly recommend!

China Glaze is a really solid line of nail polishes.

They offer tons of different colors, and ranges of polishes such as neons, crackle polishes,

amazing collection polishes, chromes, appliques, nail treatments, and more.

Their website is also really helpful and organized;

it shows beautiful and accurate pictures of the polish colors and also has

video tutorials on how to do different nail designs.

They aren't too bad price wise either at about seven dollars on the Ulta website,

and I'm sure cheaper at your local drug store.

Nails of The Day =)

These are my nails of the day.

I went for a really summery look with a cute pink and a shimmery sparkle.

For this look I used two colors from the Spoiled collection.

On my thumb, middle and pinky finger I used Magic Carpet Ride;

and for my pointer and ring finger I used Battle of the Sexes.

Before I applied my polish I put on a layer of

Sally Hansen's Double Duty Strengthening Base Coat.

I then applied 3 layers of each polish to the desired nail.

After about 30 seconds of drying I applied a coat of

Sally Hansen's Insta-Dri Anti-Chip Top Coat.

For just a little touch of dazzle I added a little

studded plastic diamond to each pinky nail.

And that is how I got my Spoiled Nails of the Day.

Hey everybody!

Wanted to show you a pair of my favorite sunglasses today. I find it is always a good idea to bring sunglasses with you wherever you go because I always find myself in need of a pair. Sunglasses are important, during the Summer especially because the eye's will be at a greater risk for sun damage.

I took a little blip from an article on MayoClinic written by Dennis Robertson:

"UV radiation from the sun can damage not only the skin of your eyelid but also the cornea,

lens and other parts of the eye.

UV exposure also contributes to the development of certain types of cataracts.

When you're choosing sunglasses, look for UV-protection details on product labels.

Choose sunglasses that block 99 to 100 percent of both UVA and UVB rays.

Opt for larger lenses rather than smaller lenses."

I found this information helpful because I never knew the depth of how

easily the sun can damage such a small part of the body such as the eyes.

I myself have a pair of purple Ray Bans Cats Sunglasses with 100% UVA/UVB protection.

They are great because i can tote them in the case they came in everywhere

and feel at ease wearing them knowing they are protecting my eyes from the sun.

I do sometimes tend to get a bit of a sunglasses tan if I am

out in the sun for extended periods of time; but it is worth it.

Just wanted to share my look of the day with you all. I went for a very natural makeup look today using the Too Faced Natural Eye Palette.

For this look I used:

Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse in Tan (Dark 1)
Rimmel London Fix and Perfect Foundation Primer (as my eye-shadow primer)
CoverGirl and Olay Simply Ageless Foundation (#260)
Too Faced Natural Eye Shadow Palette (Classic)
Benefit Browzings (medium)
Define-a-line in soft black
Rimmel London Max Bold Curves Mascara
Nars Orgasm and Laguna

I will also upload a video shortly going more into detail on the look.

Lips of the Day =)

Just wanted to give you a closer view and clarify my lips of the day. It was my first time experimenting with a lip pencil and I think it turned out pretty good in my opinion. I still need a lot of practice with technique and style and trying different colors. Check it out for yourself, and feel free to leave comments and questions.

I used the Milani Mocha Splash Lip pencil, Viva Glam Gaga Mac Lipstick, and the Grape Vine Baby Lips by Maybelline to complete this look.

CoverGirl & Olay Simply Ageless =)

Just wanted to share a new product that I have found really useful. I recently tried the CoverGirl and Olay's Simply Ageless in the 260 classic Tan and love it!!! It has a creamy almost matte quality to it and goes on really smooth. The tan really matches my "summer time" skin tone perfectly. Would definitely recommend this product line to others!

I just wanted to share my nail polish collection with you all today. I have lots and lots of polish but my favorite are the Spoiled collection. I saw the brand at CVS a couple of months ago, and all of them were on sale for 99 cents; so of course I had to stock up on them. They have a lot of fun colors and I love mixing and matching them. Check out my video if you'd like to see the collection, and I hope to be doing some new vids soon showing off some of my favorite polishes.

Planter's New NUT-rition Peanut Butter!

A must try!

I was in the grocery store the other day and just happened upon a few of the new Planter's peanut butters and picked this one up. It's the Energy Mix and contains cinnamon, raisin, granola, and peanuts in it. It is so delicious and good as a snack by itself or on bread. It contains 6 grams of protein per serving and is a natural source of 7 vitamins and minerals. A very tasty treat and I highly recommend it! It was only about four bucks too!

Some Toiletries I find Essential ! =)

I just recently moved back home from school because they are updating/renovating the apartments at school. These are some of the toiletries I have remaining after the move that I find important. I will have a lot more after I do some back to school shopping probably over the weekend; and will definitely do a back to school haul and some tutorials!

Too Faced Rave and Review!

I love, love, love the Too Faced Collections! At this time I only have the Smokey Eye and Natural Eye Collections, but the are amazing. They come with placards that show you how to make the three different looks that come with the collections; but of course you don't have to follow those. These collections are fun in that they come with 9 different colors of which you can make a plethora of different looks for your eyes. I would highly recommend this brand, and both of these collections!

What's in My Purse! =)

My Daily Makeup Routine

This is my daily makeup routine for when I am in a rush or don't feel like having a big production to do my makeup.

Step 1. I apply Maybelline's Dream Matte Mousse in Tan, which is Dark 1 in the collection, in a light layer on my face to get an even skin tone. I also use it as the "primer" for my eyelids so that I can apply my eye-shadow.

Step 2. I take my Benifit Browzings Brow shaping kit and take the hard angle brush applying the brow wax, left side, to both brows shaping, filling in, and defining them. I then take the blending brush and use the powder, right side, to blend in the colors and lighten the brows a bit until they are even.

Step 3. Now i apply my eyeliner. I take my Maybelline Define-A-Line in soft black to the bottom lids of both eyes till i am satisfied with the darkness of each.

Step 4. I then apply my eye-shadow. I use my Almay intense i-color powder shadow in 411 trio for browns. I just use the bottom shade which is a pretty shade of purple, and apply all over my lid with my all over shadow brush from Sephora (brush #22).

Step 5. I now apply my London Rimmel Max Bold Curves Mascara in 001 Black. I apply many coats but insure that the lashes are properly separated and not clumping.

Step 6. The final step is applying my NARS Orgasm blush. I use and e.l.f. Blush Brush to apply the blush and contour my cheeks.

And that's my daily routine! :)

EOS Lip Balm vs. Baby Lips by Maybelline

The EOS Summer Fruit Lip Balm Smooth Sphere is pictured on the left, and the Maybelline Baby Lips on the right is in Grape Vine. The EOS Smooth Sphere is a very cool design; it is fashioned as a ball, or sphere, and you twist the top off to reveal the balm in the middle. The Summer Fruit has a good smell to it, but I find that the balm itself leaves my lips drier after a while needing more application of the balm. The Baby lips, in comparison, has a nice grape-y smell to it; not too strong, and leaves my lips feeling very moisturized. I recommend both products, but more highly recommend the Baby Lips collection because I feel it does more good for the lips.
