China glaze Turned Up Turquoise is a very awesome colour it goes on so matte and is just so cool!!!
But because it acts like a neon when u put it on and it drys it doesn't shine its very flat so you do have to use some sort of top coat or buffer.
Other then that its a great colour
Also theres a lot of colours similar to it like china glaze four leaf clover, l.a colours automatic and Ardene's matte of blue

I would defiantly re buy this colour

China Glaze Re-fresh Mint is from the Up Up and Away Collection a lot of colours from this collection where pastel so when i bought the nail polish because it was pastel i thought it might be a little to sheer and streaky but it wasn't it went on very nice and is a very nice spring colour.
I have never really seen a colour like this its very unique the only one i have heard that is like this is MACS Peppermint Patty which is very similer but i have never tried it so i really don't know for shure
The Colour is very mint its so mint it gets close to like a sea green .
I did a nail art project with the Arizona green tea bottle because the design was so pretty and a used this colour as the base.
So i would definitely re purchase this colour.

Price wise its very good i got it at ulta for 6$!

THE POLISH:
This color is gorgeous! Gorgeous! Gorgeous! A red based polish with red glitter. For starters, I am not much of a glitter wearing lady, (I prefer cremes), but this polish is one of my top 10 favorite polishes. I always get compliments when I wear this shade. Photos never do this shade any justice, it's so much prettier in person. I'm medium skin tone, so some reds could make me look orange, which I hate. But this red shade doesn't do that.
REMOVAL:Since it is a glitter shade, the best way to remove this is by using 100 percent acetone. I hate using 100 percent acetone as it dries the skin. After I remove the polish I immediately apply a cuticle cream and hand cream as well. It's probably why I don't wear glitter shades as often. Since I don't, I don't mind the removal process.
THE FORMULA:I LOVE China Glaze's formula. Three coats of this gorgeous color over Seche Ridge Filling bast coat and topped off with Seche Vite. All together last about a week before it begins to chip. It never gets thick in the bottle after so many uses. It has nail hardening properties. I love the brush. I will definitely be purchasing this again!

CoverGirl LashBlast Fusion Mascara Review

The new CoverGirl LashBlast Fusion mascara finally made its way to my door!

The mascara comes in a bright violet tube just like the original LashBlast mascara. The brush is also on the bigger side with lots of bristles. While it works nicely on my upper lashes, applying it on my lower lashes or smaller areas can be tricky.

As for the results, the mascara does give my lashes a nice lift and provides decent volume but does not seem to lengthen as well as the LashBlast Length (could be the brush?)

Just like other mascaras from the LashBlast family, the LashBlast Fusion wears well without smearing or flaking but comes off easily with a makeup remover. It also does not leave my lashes dry and brittle.

Below is me wearing the LashBlast Fusion on my left eye (right side in the picture). I like my lashes really dark and dramatic and the color I have, Black Brown, gives a more natural effect.

Overall, I am not particularly impressed with the mascara. I don’t find it that much different from the original LashBlast. I will stick to my favorite LashBlast Length topped with a volumizing mascara

Coastal Scents has grown a cult following with their selection of inexpensive yet highly pigmented makeup palettes. The 32 Lip Color Palette from Coastal Scents has an assortment of lipstick shades in nudes, corals, pinks, and reds. There are 22 cream, 8 frosty, and 2 shimmery lip colors in this palette. After several uses I have found these to be nicely pigmented, true to color and long lasting. The palette is sleek and perfect for traveling. The colors can easily be mixed to create an endless variety of custom shades.

I did find just a few downsides to this kit. First, the formula is drying and I have to use lip balm or gloss with it. Second, there are no cool-tone colors in this in the palette. Those two things aside, I think this is a great palette suitable for personal or professional use. I would definitely buy this product again if needed. Below are swatches of all 32 colors! NYX White Eyeshadow Base

Many of the makeup gurus on YouTube demonstrate using a white base to make eyeshadow more vibrant and true to color. And many of them use NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencil in Milk but must apply an eyeshadow primer under that to prevent creasing. Well, now NYX has a white eyeshadow base that makes eyeshadows appear brighter and more vibrant while helping it to last longer, and prevent creasing...without the extra layer of eyeshadow primer underneath!

I didn't think to look at the ingredients before purchasing this product. When it arrived, I looked at the ingredient list to find that the 3rd ingredient is mineral oil. That put me off a bit because mineral oil can cause creasing and usually causes a product to melt or fade more quickly. Well, I used this 3 days in a row with different brightly colored eyeshadows and I was surprised to find that it works quite well.

The texture is very creamy and blends out to a velvety matte white. The eyeshadows showed up bright and vibrant and lasted 8+ hours without creasing. NYX also has a skintone and a pearl version of this same product, both of which I intend to purchase at some point! (The winner of my NYX giveaway will be receiving this product in skin tone!) This is a great alternative to Urban Decay Primer Potion or Too Faced Shadow Insurance if you are looking for something a little easier on the budget. The white is great for brightly colored eyeshadows. If you never wear brightly colored shadows, I would recommend the skin tone or pearl shades. For just $6.00, this is something I would definitely purchase again. In the swatches below you can see the difference the white base makes in the vibrancy of this blue eyeshadow. China Glaze Poolside Collection: Review, Photos, Swatches

Poolside is a summer collection that includes six shades of neon lacquer. As with most neons, application isn’t the easiest, but China Glaze has certainly improved the formula from the last round of neons they did. Similarly, the finish is mostly matte, but I used a glossy top coat to give it the glossy look (but if you prefer something more matte, then just opt to go without a top coat).
Both a benefit and a potential issue, these polishes dry faster (like matte polishes do), so keep that in mind. All of the shades had a runnier consistency than I’m used to from China Glaze, so I went with a thinner first coat to lay down a “base” in a sense, before layering on two more coats (about medium in thickness — it’s easy to over-apply).

China Glaze recommends, “Like most neon polishes, the first layer will look extremely opaque and thin. You will need to build up to desired coverage and always remember to let each layer dry completely before applying the next. This will help prevent streaks and missing patches of color on the nail bed.”

Pool Party is a brightened hot pink. This applied in three coats for an opaque, smooth look.
Flip Flop Fantasy is a neon coral — I’d say it’s a little more coral-pink than the pictures show, but it’s about that dark. Three coats on this one was good enough to give me a solid and smooth look.
Sun Worshipper is an orange-y yellow — aptly named — that just glows. This is my favorite shade from the six, because it’s something different and really vibrant. Three coats for smooth, opaque coverage.
Yellow Polka Dot Bikini is neon, highlighter yellow. I had the most trouble applying this one, and I think if you take your time and build up to about four coats, you’ll get decent results. It’s ultra bright, though! This kind of cool greenish-edge of highlighter yellow is not so flattering on my skin tone, unfortunately!
Kiwi Cool-Ada is a brightened neon green. It’s brighter than grass, that’s for sure! Like Yellow Polka Dot Bikini, application was a little fussier than the other shades. I think a slower, more precise application might be key, as well as layering two thinner coats as the first two, then building up to four.
Towel Boy Toy is a brightened sky blue with soft blue pearl. This is the only shade that has any shimmer in it, but this was the shade that applied the easiest (in fact, it was easy!). Pictured is just two coats, but a third wouldn’t hurt. This was my second favorite, but I’d say some of that comes from how easy it was to apply.

Maybelline - Shiny-Licious

I bought this product in berry-bella after hearing some negative reviews of the gloss to see what I would think. Well, I love it! It's extremely shiny/glossy and smells good, kind of a tropical-like scent. It doesn't last much longer than an hour, but I really don't mind. The texture is great and it isn't the least bit sticky. I had been using beauty rush lip glosses from VS before this and I am about 20 times more satisfied with this product and it is 20 times less sticky. The color is nice, it's a mix between a bright pink and fuchsia. It goes on fairly sheer which is nice, I like a more natural look.
The only weird thing about the product is, as said in a review by Irene, pinkiecharm on youtube, when you first start squeezing out gloss after opening a new package, the gloss comes out clear at first and then a line of chunky color comes out with the clear gloss, then finally the actual gloss itself.
Besides that, I love this stuff. It's cheap, smells good, has a nice texture, and isn't sticky!

Urban Decay - Naked Palette

I almost wasn't going to buy this palette because on the computer it didn't look like it was all that, but WHAT A MISTAKE that would've been!!!! Thanks to you ladies and your rave reviews I figured I might as well, you can't really go wrong with 12 full size UD shadows for $44. When I first got home and opened my palette I felt like I was opening jewelry. The shadows are absolutely GORGEOUS....every single one of them! I usually do either a neutral or a smokey eye...no funky colors like blue, green, etc...and this palette is IT! It has everything I need! I'm about to go on vacation and this will be my only eyeshadow product that I bring with me. EVERYONE should have one. Which of course, limits their availability to the months-long waiting lists at my local Sephora. Sigh.
I would sooner die than return this product. Although, I do need to do an exchange today if they still have any in stock, becuase mine was defective...they put the Gunmetal and Creep shadows in the opposite spots and it's labeled wrong!!! That would suck if I had to wait months to exchange it.

Sally Hansen - Hard As Nails Xtreme Wear in Peach Daiquiri

While I understand the the low reviews this polish has gotten (mainly because of its sheerness), I really like it! I just got it today at Target and paid a measly $2 something for it, so you can't beat the price.
Yes, the color in the bottle is a beautiful peachy color, but when you swipe it on, it's very, very sheer - a barely there sheen of peach and a nice glimmer (not too glittery). Once you layer it on about 3-4 times, you get a more peachy kick, but by no means expect the pure color you get on the bottle. With that said, I still bought it. Why? The color shows up well enough and it's a gorgeous shade (it reminds me of Nars Orgasm). It's subtle, it's pretty, it's easy to put on (usually I'd hate to put on more than a few layers, but because it's so sheer, it's very quick and easy). It's good for when I'm in a hurry and I don't want to fuss about making sure the color coats evenly, or if mistakes will show up on the sides of my fingertips (which always happens because I'm clumsy and impatient). I love this stuff! I went to the store with the intent of purchasing the surf spray but my Walmart does not have it so I bought this instead. I got home and read the reviews and thought I would hate it but tried it out anyway. I am so glad that I did. First off let me say that I have naturally wavy hair. I always curl it with the curling iron or use a flat iron on it. But I decided to try and work with my natural texture. This spray gel makes my hair look like it has one of those expensive ceramic perms in it. It looks great now. The spray really separates and defines my waves and the friezes are completely gone. Gorgeous! I just put it in right after I shower on damp hair and then scrunch, scrunch, scrunch!

I love, love, love this stuff! I used it at a friend's house and went out the next day and bought 2 giant pump bottles (Wal-Mart has them for 5 bucks apiece!) Talk about dirt cheap. I like this lotion because it sinks in quickly, moisturizes well, and has a nice, light scent. It is not a heavy cocoa scent but more of a light chocolate scent, but it smells good to me. And my kids love it too. I can use it on them, and they have very sensitive skin. A lot of lotions make their skin sting (even expensive health-food store lotions) but this doesn't. I can slather them with it after their baths and it soaks in quickly and they can put their pjs on right away. It is runny enough so that it is easy to massage into the skin. It is HARD to put on lotion that is thick and gooey. This is not!
I keep a bottle in my bathroom, too, to use after my shower. It really moisturizes well and helps keep my skin soft during cold Canada winters. Love the pump bottle b/c it is easier to dispense. I'll buy this over and over again.

Make Up For Ever - Aqua Creams (Multi-Purpose)

have brought 4 of these so far. I have 11,12,13,14.... all the natural colors. The first 2 came in the MUFE set form Sephora...one was a taupe like color that made a great day time smokey eye. the other color was a lighter champagne like color.,... i really like this a a highlight color ( it just has to be blended). The other 2 colors were the copper one and the chocolate brown. The copper one is shimmery, but not glittery. The chocolate brown is a dark reddish brown. I had no problems with creasing, but they work best on a primed eye IMO. My finger or a synthetic brush has been the best application for me. I have combined these with powder shadows with no issues. If used on the lips a clear gloss underneath is a must. Lip balm is ok, but they apply much better with a clear gloss. The pigmentation is great no issues with color showing up on my skin (NC44 Studio Tech)

B2M is a fantastic program with great incentives for any heavy MAC user and makeup lover. I do not find it to be inconsistent at all. If you return 6 empties of ANY PRIMARY PACKAGING, ie a wipe pack, foundation bottle, lipstick, you can receive one of three different choices - a lipstick with the exception of Viva Glam, as all proceeds from those go to charity so they won't forfeit charitable donations to give it to you for free, an eye shadow, OR a lipglass. If you B2M at a counter, not a freestanding store, you can only choose a lipstick. Products don't even have to be empty! I absolutely hated a moisturizer I tried, and B2M'd the half-used container with no issues. So far, with every counter/store I've B2M'd with across the country, the policies have been very consistent.
I've been told they're going to stop accepting depotted shadow containers (meaning the plastic container missing the metal pan w/ shadow in it, that has been removed and placed into a palette), but as I have not recycled one in quite some time, I am unsure as to where that stands. Keep in mind you CAN B2M Viva Glam products, just anywhere I've ever recycled at has told me you cannot get them in return. Also, they do accept specially packaged products to recycle, but they are another product you cannot get in return, just like you can't use a Pro Card discount on them.
It makes me feel better about not just tossing my old containers to go to the landfill, and in return for recycling, I get another product I want to try, or is a staple! Wonderful idea that I wished more companies used.

AnnaBelle Studio Pigments!!!

One brand I always look at when I'm in a drugstore is Annabelle. They are a Canadian makeup brand based in Montreal, who carry a lot of great products. Their eyeshadows are quite wearable, and easily depotable into MAC palettes (always a plus for me!), and they always have the most colourful promo visuals among drugstore brands.

I've tried their regular pigments before, and they are excellent, comparable to NYX, Barry M, and MAC. These were no different!

I absolutely LOVE this product. I have very pale skin that is very oily and very acne prone and I needed something to help cover up the nasty cystic acne I get and the dark circles under my eyes.
I am so happy I found this! I bought it in the lightest shade, like I said I'm really pale, and it works WONDERS. I wear tinted moisturizer instead of foundation because I hate that cakey heavy feeling, and then apply this to my ugly areas. I use my fingertip to warm the product and then pat and blend it over any blemishes and my under eye area. It stays all day, doesn't look cakey and gives great coverage. I would highly reccommend to anyone looking to cover a few problem areas. I will definately be repurchasing!
