On Wednesday, police were called to the home of Mischa Barton, co-star of the upcoming CW series “The Beautiful Life: TBL.”

“Shortly after 3 p.m., a police unit responded to the home of Mischa Barton for a medical issue, which the Police Department is currently helping her with. No one was arrested,” said Det. Gus Villanueva of the Los Angeles Police Department.

Kelly Rowland has dismissed reports she and her former bandmates Beyonce Knowles and Michelle Williams are working on one final Destiny’s Child album, urging eager fans to “simmer down”.

Rumours recently surfaced claiming the trio was heading back into the recording studio to make a fifth studio disc because they were said to be contractually obliged to Sony Music subsidiary Columbia Records to deliver another project.

But Rowland insists there is no such album or contract clause - and there has been no talk of a reunion just yet.

She tells the NYPost.com’s PopWrap blog, “There is no Destiny’s Child album in the works. None of us have talked about an album or anything. And until we do, no one else should worry about it. Simmer down now!”

“I want to make a cameo and shoot it right down the middle,” said Kristen as she was leaving Cosmopolitan magazine’s annual Fun Fearless Female dinner at the W Hotel in Los Angeles.

The Transformers actress, Megan Fox, has the body most envied by women, according to a new poll in Heat magazine’s Body Envy Survey 2009.

But despite having the most desired body, Megan apparently has a phobia of looking at herself, telling Film.com: “I usually don’t watch myself, I don’t watch playback, I don’t look at still photos, I have a phobia of it.”

She added: “But I forced myself to sit down for Transformers 2. I basically shot an entire glass of champagne so that I could get through the sitting of it.”

According to a news source, Charlize Theron is giving underprivileged South African children a place to play soccer.

The Academy Award winner’s Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project is teaming up with LAFC Chelsea Soccer Club in Los Angeles to build community soccer programs. In addition to soccer fields, uniforms and equipment, kids involved in the program will receive health education and services.

The project, announced Tuesday, will serve schools in South Africa’s Umkhanyakude District, an area plagued by a high rate of HIV infection. Theron hopes to have the first fields built by the time the World Cup begins next June 11.

Muse and Taylor Swift have become the first artists confirmed to perform at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards.

The British band will make their first US television appearance at the annual event, debuting new single ‘Uprising’ from their highly-anticipated album The Resistance.

Country star Swift, who served as a red carpet interviewer last year, has promised that fans can expect “theatrics” during her performance of an updated version of new single ‘You Belong With Me’.

“I think this year’s show will be unlike anything they’ve ever done! MTV has been so good to me. And I could not be more excited about this year’s VMAs,” she said.

Last year, when Taylor Swift attended her first VMAs, she did double duty as a Best New Artist nominee and the fashion correspondent for MTV News’ red-carpet preshow. At the 2009 VMAs, to be hosted again by Russell Brand on September 13, Swift will be one of the night’s big performers.

“I’m so excited that MTV and the VMAs have invited me to perform, because I think this year’s show will be unlike anything they’ve ever done!” she said of her debut on the VMA stage with an updated version of her new single, “You Belong With Me.”
