A Family Saga

I need it, and I need it somewhere I can find it. I see no need to open another blog to add this story telling of a family saga here, since this family is mine. It is mine from both sides of the family, the paternal and maternal sides of the Baxter family.

It is an attempt to understand who I am, where I came from and where I'm going. It is my attempt to understand those around me that are my family whether they are living or dead.

I offer it here as my storytelling of my family history as I understand it and as I learn more about it. Please keep in mind that this is my personal blog and that while I am story telling, I am also trying to put the pieces of the puzzle together, while also adding my own personal thoughts and feelings into the telling of this family saga.

I believe that in some way, my family is tied to Jesse James and the James gang. I have good reason to say this and as this storytelling of my family saga continues, you might also sense that I have good reason for this family history storytelling adventure.

I will say here that this is a story based on a true story and that the names have been changed in some way to protect the innocent and the not so innocent.

For many years, I have been considering the telling of this story, a family saga, my family saga. I have been torn many different ways in thoughts and feelings as whether to and how to publish this the story of my family history as I understand it and as I learn as I go.

It is possible that many might become upset with me for the telling of this story as I will. However, I will not argue with the truth, and if it makes you the reader feel much better, then you may consider this a story of fiction if you so wish...

To anyone who does know more of the story, I welcome you input; for knowledge is the thing I seek most...

After much thought and some good advice, I have decided that this story should come into the world in some sort of book form rather than a bit of this and that in limited text on an online blog. Stay tuned for more info...
