Network marketing has the potential to change your financial situation fairly quickly. I do not want to paint a picture like all the scams and hype artists on the internet would have you believe. The truth is that an extra income of three to eight hundred dollars a month would be a huge benefit to many people.An income of four to six thousand a month is attainable and this would be a replacement income for many people.Six and seven figures are possible but not attained by many people. Everyone in a bad position hopes for an easy way out of difficulties that may have taken years to pile up. Push button income and easy money is everywhere on the internet or so you are told. The fact is that building an extra income through network marketing or direct sales can be very hard work.. if I lose you here at this fact then that is fine.It is very hard work in the beginning and I believe this is one reason why many people fail and their lives and incomes are not changed.

The hype and promise of easy money are so prevalent. Many claims of big money are true but you will not be able to replicate what these people have done to attain their success initially any way. There are also many false promises and hype. The cold hard fact is that these false promises appeal to our innate desires and lure those who are in desperate need of financial help. The people that are making tons of money from all these ideas are the ones with the skills and resources to capitalize on these basic desires. Many of these systems and schemes may work if you could duplicate the system and steps that the writers made. The fact is that 98% of people cannot, so a high percentage of people are filling the pockets of a select few. This is wrong.

Network marketing and direct sales can change your life. Will it change your life? This is really up to you. Even though the potential is there, the most important question that you are asking is "will it change my life"? A true residual income and using leverage are truly the keys that we use and many of the wealthy would like to keep to themselves. Lack of Knowledge

As is true with any business there is knowledge that is necessary to be successful.You can forget the push button and refer three friends to wealth programs because they are probably scams. A real business takes an amount of learning and knowledge to be successful. Think about any trade or profession, doctors, lawyers, accountants, the period of time to learn the business takes a period of time. The problem is that network marketing information is very prevalent and it is easy to get overloaded in the learning process. The beginning of a network marketing career that is successful is filled with learning the knowledge of successful people, cloning what they have done till you arrive at your own systems and methods that work for you. Save yourself years of frustration and learn what it takes for long term success.

Lack of Skills

Long term success will require certain skills. Look again to known trades. A carpenter starts out as an apprentice and spends many years learning before he is competent and considered a journeyman. Many more years of work and learning the skills are put in before he would be considered a master carpenter. The same is true with network marketing, it takes skills to be a big success. There are shortcuts, the problem is that a large percentage of people online claim to be network marketing experts already when very few of them are. I am no expert but I consider myself a network marketing specialist, a journeyman if you will because I have been able to build a full time income.Take advantage of the free network marketing training that we offer. I have found a system that is duplicatable to anyone that will spend the time to learn, it cuts the skills and knowledge learning curve significantly. Take the time to get the knowledge and learn the skills, realize that this is part of the process.

Lack of Capital to Get to Profit

This is where many people jump ship or get on board another one in network marketing. They start with a company paying a monthly auto ship and think that the world will flock to them for their fantastic products. Spending money on leads, training and anything else that looks like it will help with NO REAL PLAN. No plan is a bad plan and down the road they are just poorer for the experience. Not able to make any money with their great opportunity and products they move to another business, then another one and most at some point quit. It takes time and or money to build any real business, I started mine with just time and little money. Plan to use the capital that you do have whether time or money to start and realize it may take a significant financial and time commitment to reach your goals. Have a goal and plan to get there. If you run short before you reach your goal. do not quit but continue to do what you can and take consistent daily action to get to your goals.

Lack of Perseverance

Quitting before you reach your goal. Many people did not have a goal and no measurable progress and will become discouraged. It actually was two years of consistently working with one company before it started getting easier. People that know you will wait and watch until they are sure that this is something that will stand up over time. Small goals to start out with can change this for your business. Make small yet attainable goals that will make you stretch yet be rewarding to attain. Take your large income goals and needs and split them up into smaller yet attainable goals. Every sponsor’s goal should be to get your down line into profit as quick as possible, help them to establish small, stretching and attainable goals. Celebrate when we achieve them and start working towards the next goal. If you set your mind to it and do not quit then you will reach your goals and probably do more than you would have expected in the beginning.

Only you can answer the question of "will network marketing change my life?" It has drastically changed our lives, and I know if you address the issues that stop most people you have a good chance at increasing your income and building a real business. Seven Ways to Promote Your Squidoo Lens

How do I promote my Squidoo lens? This is the next question you will have since you have been following this series on Squidoo lens creation.

Before you get serious about promoting your Squidoo lens, let us make certain that your lens is of the highest quality. Make sure your lens has great content, a number of interesting pictures, informative videos and more great content You can also add a variety of voting, guestbook, Google news, eBay, Amazon or Twitter feed modules or building blocks. A good lens is complete with no default title on modules with a small variety of modules. A great lens is truly unique and you and contains a vast number of different modules, great content and this comes over time. One of the most critical things to gain and keep rank on Squidoo is regular editing of a lens. Squidoo much like Google has a freshness portion in their rating algorithmic, to gain and maintain good rankings you must regularly edit your lenses. I actually recommend attending to them every third day, just improve or add new content to your lens.

Browse Other Lenses

Use the search function in Squidoo, the small white box in the upper right hand corner of a Squidoo lens to find a list of lenses on any topic(see video).

This is a important regular task that you will want to do to get known at Squidoo and three years later it is part of my routine on a weekly basis to generate interest and meet new people on Squidoo. Just browsing lenses will not leave your mark, so follow the rest of these points to generate interest and promote your Squidoo lens.

Like Other Lenses

It is a simple process and part of our regular interaction on Squidoo. At the very top left of every Squidoo lens is a "like" button, the top button is specifically for Squidoo. This will show the people that have found this lens to be of value. This is part of the ranking system on Squidoo, of course the more "squid likes" a lens receives the better it will rank inside Squidoo's own search function and in Google also.

Leave comments on other lenses

Leaving comments on other lenses is also a great way to generate interest and traffic back to your Squidoo lenses. I always like to try and address the lensmaster by name when leaving comments. It is very similar to leaving blog comments and generates interest back to your lenses. On related topic lenses I will also leave a html link in the comments and some lensmasters will publish these. Remember these should always be in context of your comment and related to the lens. Encourage other lensmasters

Remember that Squidoo is a community and to generate interest you must become part of the community. It is real easy to leave comments and messages for other lensmasters. In the top right hand corner of every lens there is a picture and introduction. When you click on this picture or the link, it will bring up the lensmasters biography page. You can browse all of their lenses and leave them a message. Use this to compliment great work and encourage new people on Squidoo.

Become a part of Squid U

Introduce your self and become interactive at the squidu forum. Remember to go make connections and interact. Do NOT try to promote your lenses directly, as this will back fire. Just like your lenses can be liked, they actually can be whats called "dinged" by experienced Squidoo lensmasters called squid Angels. Becomeing part of the forum WILL generate interest to your lenses, just don't try to promote at all. This will also be a valuable spot to get your questions answered and learn many things that you can and cant do on Squidoo. Read and follow the directions and have fun!

Share the Great lenses you find on Social networks

Now this can be fun and simple also. Share the best lenses you find on your Social networks. When you use the share buttons to the left of every Squidoo lens you can share the great lenses that you have found with your friends and followers on Facebook, Twitter, Google plus and Pinterest. I also let the lensmaster know in my comments that I am sharing their stuff, many will reciprocate and share my lenses also. Do not ask for shares likes or pins but when you are consistent at doing this and let it n known that you are sharing their content your will get shared also.

Keep your lens updated and fresh

This is a important element to gain and maintain rankings on Squidoo and Google, fresh content and regular edits. Trust me if you build a lens and just let it sit the traffic will die down and your rankings will dwindle. The opposite is true also, keep your lens updated regularly and it will continue to climb in the Squidoo rankings.

Leaders are always On

You have chosen a viable network marketing opportunity.. Now the work.. Develop a true desire to make friends.. Someone who is a millionaire in network marketing has a million friends..The single most important thing you can develop is wanting to make friends and meet new people, this attracts others.
Forget about prospecting for awhile, can you make two new friends? Could you make two new friends a week, a day?

Facebook is used and loved by more people every where. Use it to build your business reputation and help build your business too! To refresh what we have covered, your new visitor should have the motivation to click like on your Facebook landing page. This is covered in my last article Facebook Pages and Three Ways to Make Yours Produce. Now that hopefully they have clicked like, they will be able to watch the great video you have posted on the default landing page. Utilize the landing page to build your email list. Give people one option on this page to opt in at your email list. Your offer has to be motivating and enticing, something of value that would interest anyone that is viewing your page. The welcome page and your branded image should tell the visitor exactly what the page is about and what they should expect by exploring.

Utilizing the Pictures at the Top of your Facebook Page.

These pictures at the top of your Facebook page allow you to post a attractive picture. There is much more to this. These pictures also become mini ads if you will that your fans will see posted in their news feeds. You can also utilize these pictures to create interaction, pose a question and anything that will initiate a interaction between you and your Facebook fans. When you use Facebook as your page and post a picture it will appear at the top of your wall and all other tabs. Many people are using this as a billboard or having their slogan here, that is great but this is missing the power of these live mini ads. These pictures show up at the top of every tab in your Facebook page. People will be clicking on these pictures, it is what people do on Facebook. Use them wisely!

Your Facebook Promoted "Likes"

When you use Facebook as your page, see video???, you can search and look for pages that will be interested in your niche. You can also use these featured likes to build a network of Pages that keep your traffic to Facebook pages that are yours or your teams. Now again these featured "likes" show up on every tab of your Facebook page. There are many ways to use these. You can choose which pages that you have liked as your page by editing your profile.

Use the marketing tab in your edit your page portion of your page to send a update to all people that "like" your page... video??

Use Facebook to build your email list, this is what many guru's and high power marketers are doing right now as we speak. The most effective way to get "likes" and converting these likes to real people on your list is to create great engaging content and ads.

“Action is the foundational key to all success” This quote is credited to Pablo Picasso. This is one of my favorite quotes. How true is this?

We are surrounded and inundated with new information each day. I am sure you will agree with me that network marketing via the internet is the most powerful way to reach millions of people. Every day we are bombarded with new offers, strategies and methods to build our blogs, websites and splash pages. Buy the killer system to build your business, get this latest tool, read this article, watch my video.. well you know the drill.

The amount of information is overwhelming; in fact that is where many people are at in their online marketing... overwhelmed!

I believe ninety percent or more of people trying to make money on the internet through network marketing, MLM or direct sales are in information over load! There is not enough time to process even a small percentage of the information presented long enough take action on it. There is so much to read, learn and take action on.

Why are some people more successful than others? They are action takers! Let us look at the examples of highly successful network marketers, old school net workers. The old guard that take their business to people one at a time or, belly to belly I have heard it told. They didn't spend eight hours a day every day finding and changing their conversation scripts. They did not become giants in their companies by spending hours a day talking about the weather with people on the phone. The men and women that tower in network marketing, MLM and direct sales spent most of their time taking action. Using the tools, scripts and methods given to them. That is why you are reading this post.. you believe and know that there is a huge opportunity laying before you. No in fact it is tougher today. It is tougher to keep your attention focused on the important tasks. It is tougher in that you have to keep the blinders on to the hundreds of seemingly good opportunities that will pass by your eyes every day. It is more difficult because there are a thousand ways to market on the internet and if you are like me you have tried 998 of them.

Money is not made by researching and learning the newest SEO techniques, Facebook marketing methods or looking at the pretty pictures on Pintrest. Money is made in this business by taking action and connecting with people. Yes you should utilize and learn new techniques, but this in your skill building time. Success comes from taking action on a specific online marketing method until you become proficient at it. The problem is usually if you are trying many different things none of them seem to work for you. If you will focus on one and take action until you have success.

Skills are necessary and there is a learning curve to internet marketing. It takes an amount of time to develop some skills and find a method that works for you. I have found that the key to successful action is discipline. I try to stay up on all the latest methods and techniques. I limit this though, the real action that counts is implementing the techniques that you already have and get your business in front of people that may be interested.

Is action the foundational key to success? Yes taking action on proven methods is a foundational key to your success. Use online marketing methods that will build relationships and get your business in front of interested people is one of your most powerful foundational keys to success.

So do you like craps roulette and blackjack? Maybe you do, if you are like me you are not attracted to gambling. In some ways network marketing to the majority of people can be just as inviting and tempting as gambling.. Let me explain, the promise of quick easy money, the addiction of the process, the spending of a lot money trying to hit the big one. Sound familiar? Network marketing is a profession, not a make money easy and quick opportunity.I think many people might fail because they try network marketing instead of learning the skills of the profession. Are you gambling that network marketing will make you wealthy?

The truth is that this profession has made many millionaires and is capable of making you the money that you need for a legacy. A financial legacy for your family is possible, like you were hoping for, if you quit gambling!

Are you hoping the right company, timing and product will make you a over night fortune. While these things are very important, to see how important you can read my last blog post titled "Seven Critical Elements of a Highly Successful Internet Business" It is true that vision, mission, great leadership, timing, an amazing product, a great compensation plan, a system to acquire and follow up with customers, your desire and persistence are critical elements of a highly successful network marketing business.

Without these elements you are doomed to starting over at least before you begin. Lets take it one step farther though, the most critical piece of the puzzle is you... have you been gambling with your financial future?

How Do You Compare to Other Marketers?

Are you gambling on success in network marketing? Are you just hoping that the latest business you joined will finally be the one that brings you the income you need?

The great product that your company sells that is undoubtedly better than sliced bread, are you hoping and praying that enough people will buy this fantastic product from you and make you the income you need.. Lets stop gambling, would you really roll the dice to decide your families future and financial outcome years from now? Yet many people do..

Many people are , they are gambling, throwing the dice that the latest program or fantastic product will cause them to be successful, let me be blunt it wont!

Lets face the facts.. Network marketing is more than a industry, it is a profession. The people that have made millions of dollars and more with the network marketing profession are skilled trained and seasoned professionals. It was not chance, a gamble or a roll of the dice that took them to a pinnacle of success in our great profession. It was the development of skills. The same skills that you will need to be a success. The result and amount of your income will be determined by the ratio of your skills and the action that you take, not your company, not your team... you!

The reason 95% of people fail and quit network marketing is because they are gambling on success. They are not spending their time building their skills. They will try something, lets take blogging for example. The start a blog, get the blog looking nice, add some links, a great opt in form. They will spend many hours learning the skills it takes to do this, or pay to have it done. They will start posting excited as can be in the beginning then over the weeks and months to come, the excitement may wear off why? Because successful blogging for network marketing takes skills and a lot of skills. Just like network marketing blogging takes skills and a lot of hard work. Think how many MLM and network marketing people are blogging and competing for the public's attention, thousands and maybe more. To be successful it takes skills, copy writing skills, syndication skills, traffic acquiring skills. None of this come over night. Think of the most successful bloggers that you know of they spent years developing their craft, learning their profession and building their skills.

How many people do you see start a Facebook page with exuberance and excitement! Then over a period of time their excitement dwindles and so do the status updates. They have been trying this and it just doesn't work, look I only have 75 likes and they are all my friends.. No Facebook marketing takes skills and skills take time and studying to master. Because we all know clearly that Facebook marketing does work! You just have to learn and apply the skills necessary to make it work well..

The five percent that make money, an over abundance of money in the network marketing profession have spent the time building their skills and are learning and refining their skills every day. I might add are these people have made network marketing their profession. Network marketing can be done part time and you will earn a part time income, it can be done as a hobby and you will earn a hobby income. After searching for over ten years and trying everything that I could, I have learned that a business without these elements may fail or come up short. I think the one of the biggest reasons that companies fail is a lack of integrity. Leaders and companies that lack the ability to make a decision that will adhere to the companies vision and mission when times are tough, are doomed from the very start. Tough times and hard decisions are a part of every businesses venture and path. The final destination of a company will be determined by the decisions that are made every day. When past history shows the integrity and values of a companies leadership are solid, the chances are much better that the decisions made daily will adhere to the companies vision and mission. Company leadership with a history of success in the type of business at hand will greatly advantage the companies decisions and outcome.

Research the company and see how many negative comments have been made on the internet. Most companies will have some comments made from disheartened affiliates, so take this into consideration. Do your research and see how many companies the CEO and executive board have been involved in and what kind of results they have had. Your long term success will be determined by the every day decisions of the leaders of your company. Make sure that the company that you choose has the integrity, experience and values that will bring long term success.

You can start right where you stand and apply the habit of going the extra mile by rendering more service and better service than you are now being paid for.

Before starting on the segments which will show you how to generate traffic become known, and make money with Squidoo. Let me share with you the most glaring mistakes, things that you do not want to have on your Squidoo lens. These are items that you will want to check and double check to make sure your new Squidoo lens is of the highest quality.

These mini websites will add to your brand, provide a extra traffic source and start to establish you as an authority if done correctly.

How do I know? I have been active on this content based community since October 2008. I have viewed and rated over three hundred lenses and continually try to improve my own lenses. I strive to have lenses of the highest quality and value to any and all that happen to read them. I have won many Squidoo trophys, blessings and likes. Now for Squidoo this is not a long time or high activity, as there are many veterans that have statistics that really surpass mine. I have been around enough to give you solid advice and direction an how to build, maintain and promote lenses on Squidoo.

With that said, lets talk about what not to do on Squidoo. Here are the worst offenders.

Carefully choose your title, url and description. The URL or internet address can not be changed after you have created your lens so choose wisely. The title and description can be edited at anytime. Make sure that the URL, title and description accurately represent what subject matter you will be covering. The URL Title and description will be what people first see in Squidoo directories and in search engines. Do not mislead them but accurately represent the information that you will be sharing about on your lens.

Do not be satisfied with poor quality content. Building a great Squidoo lens is a process. Make sure that each portion or module that you add is good quality information related to your title and description. It is all about value, the more and higher quality information you have the more traffic, likes and good rankings you will achieve.

Do not use purely promotional content, give great information, pictures, videos. If your lens is purely promotional it can be flagged as spam and be locked. Provide value before you sell. Many Squidoo lenses are promoting things, it is accepted if you have given good quality information on the subject. Lenses filled with links and little content are thought to be just spam. Think like your readers and write what they would want to hear.

Remember people hate to be sold but love to buy.

Do not have a blank or barren lens master page. There is a section that you will be completing that talks about the author or "lens master", make your Squidoo bio complete with a great picture. My advice is not a logo, or inanimate object but a picture of you. people like to do business with those they know like and trust. Start building that trust on Squidoo with your Squidoo lens master bio. Make sure and add your blog links, your Twitter profile, Facebook profile link and allow people to explore who you are. Remember this is a community and to be part of it you must share about who you are, what you stand for and what you like to do.

Do not use poor spelling and grammar. Now right about here is where U wuill find whut it lookss too someeone else reeding a lens with poor spelling and or grammar. Time to click out if we can not even have proper spelling and grammar huh? There are many tools that you can use to achieve a good quality module with proper spelling and grammar. Use the tools and then check it and recheck it. Have a good friend proofread it. Even after being very careful, I will catch a mistake I have made down the road. Everyone makes mistakes but a high quality lens will have little to no spelling and grammar errors.

Do not leave any uncompleted modules. When you first publish a Squidoo lens, there are default modules added, to build a lens you will continue to add text modules, video modules, picture modules. Always double check that all default module titles have been changed and customized by you and all uncompleted modules are removed, don't worry you can add any of these later but when you push the publish button have all uncompleted ones removed.

Creating and maximizing quality websites or "lenses" as they are called on Squidoo will add significantly to your brands value, can help establish you as an expert and will help you to connect with more people every week that have an interest in what you do. This post will give you some basics and help you get started creating some killer Squidoo lenses.

1. Choose the topic or subject of your Squidoo lens. This is the very first step in starting your new Squidoo lens creation. The first step covered in the how to video goes really quick but is very important to the long term success of your Squidoo lens.Squidoo lens creation is handled by what is called a Squidoo lens wizard. The title at the top of the page will be "Step 1: What's your lens going to be about?"

2. Chose the title of your Squidoo lens. This is another important step of creating your Squidoo lens. The title should include your keywords and also be something that will attract attention. As with any article or content that you write the title is important. It will need to captivate the attention of people that see it. Now this is less critical than the topic at this time because you can always change the title of your Squidoo lens at any time. In step two you will chose your lens title, set your lens URL, pick your topic and pick a rating for your lens. The most critical part of this step is choosing the URL for your lens. This will also be the URL or address of your Squidoo lens so it is very important to choose wisely. This can not be changed later for this lens. It is best to do some keyword research and find the best short keyword phrase that describes your topic. I use a powerful keyword tool called Jaaxy, this provides me the best possible combination of keywords and keyword phrases to use in my titles and URLs. After finding good keywords add them to a list, a text file and save this for future reference. These keywords will also have to be available from Squidoo, so it may take a little experimenting to find a targeted keyword phrase to use. It is worth it to take extra time at this critical step to get a good targeted URL. The title can be changed at a later date.

3. Choose the category selections for your Squidoo lens. You will be able to target your category and topic selection with a top level topic selection, a sub topic and a even more targeted sub topic. This categorizes your lens for the Squidoo community to be able to be easily found.

4. It is now time to choose your targeted keywords or tags for your Squidoo lens. Go back to your list of keywords and keyword phrases researched in step one and add them to your tag list for your Squidoo lens.
You can add or change your tags or keywords at any time. Enter your keywords or tags and also fill in the security code box. This is to prevent automated lens creation from computers

5. Create interesting, original content for your Squidoo lens. Squidoo lenses are targeted information centers, I think the most powerful lenses offer a solution to a problem or tell a story. This is an important part of your Squidoo lens creation, as with any internet information source content is king. Your written content will be the core of your Squidoo lens and should be quality control checked many times for grammatical and spelling errors. Your content should be valuable and compelling, remember solving problems, offering solutions and stories are great content. Remember to include your keyword phrases to your content. Focus an making your content for the reader and use your keywords in the content. This makes your Squidoo lens easily found for people searching on Squidoo and in the search engines for your information. This produces targeted traffic, people interested in the topics of your lens. You can also use simple html and CSS in your content modules to highlight and make your content attractive and compelling.
Remember peoples attention span is short so split long blocks of content into several modules.

To best use this part of the process successfully you will need accounts at least the major social media platforms.

Always use the hash tag symbol # when tweeting and searching on Twitter. Follow these people and interact with these people. Spend 30 minutes a day following and interacting with new people on Twitter. Also tweet with people that you are already connected to.
Facebook is also simple, find and join any groups by using the search bar at the top of Facebook. Just type in your search term and look to the left of the page. Choose groups, this will produce a list of groups that you can request to join. Spend 30 minutes a day finding groups and interacting in the group. You must interact with the people in the groups; you can like, comment and post. DON”T start posting your links, or business opportunity to these or any groups!

LinkedIn is also similar, find and join groups that have an interest in the subject that you are interested in or your target niche.

Now after you have introduced yourself to your Twitter stream, Facebook groups, and LinkedIn groups take out the list of relevant content that you have found. Pick the most relevant powerful content valuable to the groups and share this information with the members. . This is where for Facebook and LinkedIn you will want to share the powerful content with a nice picture that you have found. Great content with a great picture produces the best results; remember this because it will be important to you soon. I can’t say this enough, interact with these people, edify encourage and be positive because you are building your brand, generating interest and this generates traffic also. Branding yourself as an expert by consistently providing and sharing relevant content sets you apart from the groups, don’t be self-serving, be a servant of all and you will enjoy the benefits.

Set a schedule for posting this content to the streams and groups that you belong to and always comment on other people’s posts also. 1.Use a good connection and a headset.

Todd points out, and I agree that it is good to be able to move around.

It brings the energy levels up and that way you are not tied to a phone. If you have new equipment try it out on a couple friends or team members before using it to call prospects.

You get one chance at a good impression on the phone!

When they answer introduce yourself and let them know where you are from. Use their first name when asking, Hey Is Bob there? or Hi Bob.

2. Match the pace, volume and tone of message prospect or customer.

This is important in building a rapport with this new person.

The more that you are like them in these items the quicker you will be able to build that important bridge quickly.

If they are comfortable with you on the phone, the better chance that you have of building a connection.

3.Make it personal if you can.

A little research on Facebook first can be handy, now I know Todd does not spend the time to do this. 85% of my leads, prospects and customers are on Facebook. It allows me to find some things in common before I connect with them.

Wait on the friend request though until you have a relationship started or they at least know who you are.

4. Use the prospects first name

When someone answers, quickly just ask if "Joe" is there. I always just say "Hey Joe", if the person answering is not Joe then they will get "Joe " for you.

You have to be natural, comfortable and in charge. This all comes with time, it comes with practice. The best way to practice is calling leads!

Using the first name will sometimes lead them to believe that they have spoke with you before or may know you.

Stay away from using their full name, seem personal and you will get their interest quicker.

5. Introduce yourself.

I use this and Todd recommends that you introduce your self first and last name,

where you are located and the first question directly following then pause for an answer.

It is important as you are being personal with them yet professional, your location gets them realizing you are a real person. Important!

They have to know, like and trust you to want to do business with you. This introduction should be directly followed by the reason for the call and a question. Here is an example

"Hi Joe, this is Ken Kinstle, here in Rapid City South Dakota. You signed up for some information at my website. Are you still interested in making an income from home?"

Then pause.. It is critical to do the introduction, question and pause.

Listen and take notes, even their tone in a recorded message will tell you a lot.

Make a note on everything that they tell you and determine if this person is someone that you will want to do business with.

Leave a compelling message. When calling people, you will leave a lot of messages! Match their tone if you have heard it..

Use your introduction and ask them if they are serious to return your call.

Leave your "direct" phone number. I use my personal cell phone number and tell them it is your personal number.

Let them know early that you are personally accessible to their calls and needs.

The hardest thing to do is GET Started. This gets better and more comfortable. If you don't want to use the phone STOP NOW.

Do not take it personal, you will get hang ups, crabby people and everything else. You will have to NOT take it personal and call the next person, this also takes time.
Be confident and real. Being comfortable takes following the script until it becomes natural.
The more you practice, the more comfortable you will be and the more success that you will have!
