Hello All,

    Back after long long time, am I not? Yeah, well I was hurrying up from one exam to the other and making time for office, home, blogging, reading, novels and a few other time consuming projects. In the end, I started burning out. So now, after completing the exams, I decided to take a small break and the result is almost no posts of value in the last two months on this blog. My apologies.

    Well, the break part started well, started enjoying sitting down with having nothing to do, with an empty scheduler and not having an alarm that keeps going off to remind me to expedite. I started watching tv, writing a little, reading a little, taking holidays from work, traveling along with my new ipad. Yeah, a brand new ipad from the Apple Inc. It for sure is an awesome piece of hardware when it comes to gaming, being connected (not cluttered) and for many other purposes. Taking care of such a device is easy, simple and necessary.

    I just bought a case from theSnugg.com and kudos, it really adds to the beauty of my ipad. White in color, slim, correct fit, high quality, great visual impression, smooth and soft with a nice fragrance (I some how love the smell of new leather). I am so impressed by it, that I even bought a piece for a friend right away. Hello All,

Hope your month of may started well. The other day, I was blogging about starting the month of may as a new leaf, with loads of changes including exercise, study and such. I was writing a set of rules for myself and the moment I started planning for a nice party, I got invitation to IPL after party, organized by Signature last night at ITC Kakatiya, Hyderabad from a friend.

Just a quick word about the party, it was fabulous. My home team, the SunRisers were present there after their spectacular victory over the Mumbai Indians. The grander, the players, the models, the fashion show, the venue, the organizers, the food and the spirits all amazed me and made the night memorable. The hosts knew how to throw a party, the chefs knew what to cook, the bar tender was highly dextrous with his spirits and the counter was stacked with the right spirits, the guests knew how to party hard all night, the DJ was great and the event turned out to be a glamorous one.

Hope you are all doing well. Today starts the month of may and like me for every procrastinator, today is supposed to be the beginning of a new era. (Yeah,

some procrastinators want to change and they

need an auspicious time/new week/new month to start the change). So what am I planning to change? I wanna add a round of study sessions into my daily schedule, cut facebook time, cut eating out, start savings, build emergency fund and start an exercise regime to become fit and run 5km in 3 months. So wish me luck

Before starting any exercise regime, you must consult a doctor, a fitness pro for advises, tips and to learn the procedures and strategy needed to conquer the goals. So my thoughts went towards health-care and I started marveling about the wonders of modern health care. I know people are born and die all time, yet today, you needn't die due to diseases which wiped out villages in the past, you needn't suffer from most of the aliments, all you need is access to good hospital with professional doctors.

I hear about cases where cancer is cured, livers/kidneys/other vitals are


Glasses

transplanted, cosmetic surgeries are performed to ensure better health, better life to the person (or patient) in question. That is a miracle. Not just that, even simple things like reading glasses are a marvel to me. I needed glasses from very young age and today without glasses, my visibility is as low as 10 meters. I couldn't see the black-board, the ball in the cricket game, couldn't appreciate the nature, the greenery of grass, the beauty of birds and many other things. Thanks to modern health care, I can now, with glasses of-course.

Seriously, my life is changed. Assume there aren't glasses in the world, I would have just been a cripple, probably a dependent on my dad and nothing more. The other day, doctors found me fit to undergo PRK to ensure I don't need glasses anymore. The availability of glasses did change my life (though PRK is just another option). That is thanks to modern health care. The guys in the white coats, did save my ass a couple of times from complications both life threatening and otherwise.

Tell us about your book in two sentences.
A fantasy for children, 4^th grade through 10th grade, primarily 10-14 years old, which follows a Prince Royal from early childhood through emerging adulthood. Emphasizes enduring traits of true friendship, the guidance of companions, teachers and peers and how ultimate strength is found within.
How did the plot for this book develop?
Watching our two grandsons grow from infants to young children I was amazed at how their personalities developed and the occasional insight they casually evidenced. I was compelled by their offhanded comments to begin thinking of how they would continue into early adulthood.
When did you decide that you must be an author?I don’t recall deciding to become an author. I very definitely remember wanting to write an article for a magazine to which I subscribed. I felt I had something to say and was obliged to share it.

Becoming “an author” was certainly not my goal. Sharing an insight was my goal. After the first article was published, I found myself with another calling, another article that evolved into my first book. “Becoming an author” happened, but entirely because I had multiple instances of a message I wished to share.
Do you see yourself in any of the characters? Explain briefly.
It is difficult, almost impossible, for any writer not to put something from himself or herself into every character. Sometimes an author purposefully puts more of his experiences, dreams and aspirations into a particular character, inevitably the author “identifies” more with this almost-personification. Every character has something of “me” in them, be it hopes and desires, or fears and dreads.

In A Journey To The Four Kingdoms I imagined myself more as one of the young prince royal’s companions – Charles, the deliberating mantis. Also as Karlus Magnus, one of Pid’s soul-parents, essentially a guide and teacher.
Any further books or projects in the pipe?
I am currently outlining and researching a new novel, titled Holy Ground. A mystery set in the 1930’s it uses flashbacks to solve what appears to be an impossible situation.
What’s one piece of advice from you to aspiring writers?
Do not over-emphasize technique and writing skills. Having something to say is as important, if not more important. Develop your message with visualization, concentrated affirmations, and even meditation.
Your favorite book and why?
Too many to even begin listing. Every year the favorites list gets longer.
Writers resources, which everyone must have as per you?
Support from family and friends. The difference between good and outstanding may be attributed to education and life-experiences.

Follow your passion, use your intuition to learn what message or messages you need to carry.
Your most rewarding experience as an author?
Several, in fact, many! The most recent was when my son asked if he could publish my works electronically on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, etc.

After reading quite a few successful personality development and life improvement books from pros like John C Maxwell, Napolen Hill, Tony Robbins ... I thought examples were the only way to enlighten me on character, discipline and other traits. A really great book (though short read) which shall influence you and your life in-depth This is a must read spiritual book (without involving any religion) which is throwing light on life, helping you to heal, teaching you loads of stuff about universe, soul, knowledge, life, love with intention of helping you overcome all immaturity, hurtful feelings and make life blissful.

Final Advise:

This isn't a casual read. The Light must be read slowly, giving time to let it sink, taking time to reflect on every single line of this book.
