So you may or may not have noticed that Making the World Cuter has been a little sparse on the posting lately. I still try to have a regular Monday linky party for all of you because I love to see the cute things you are doing…but I just haven’t been contributing as I used to.

I have too much on my plate.

Trying to do and be everything.

I homeschool.

I have 4 little kids.

My husband is doing his externship at the hospital…and working on top of that.

I was going to school full time online.

I am a photographer.

I write.

I read.

I cook.

I clean.

I make gifts for my family and friends.

I do reviews for companies.

I Pinterest.

I blog here.

I blog at the DIY club.

I spend way too much time on my computer.

I have been stressed.

I have been depressed.

I am now at a place where I need to be content with not being everything.

2012 will be the year that I am a better wife and mother. That’s it.

I am not going to make resolutions this year to make more money, or lose weight, or get 5000 followers, or be healthier, or be more organized, or…make the world cuter.

This blog, along with about 100 other things that were on my plate is being wrapped up and put in the freezer for a while.

I will still have Monday Making the World Cuter parties, because I know that a lot of you can handle everything on your plates a little better than I can right now. We all have our seasons. I have accepted that, and I really am fine with that.

I am not super woman.

This blog has been an extension of who I am for so long, I have made so many great friends and have had so much fun sharing my ideas and thoughts with you.

It just started being more stress than fun…I was always stressed that I needed to come up with something cute or I would disappoint someone out there.

I have an inbox full of requests to review products, or do guest posting, and I get overwhelmed.

I have sponsorship inquiries, and I could really use the money…but that adds stress of having great content so that sponsors want to stay and feel they are getting their moneys worth.

So I have turned them down and told them I would be taking a break from blogging.

I don’t know how long.

I don’t know if I can even stick to that.

I love the blogging world so much, I know it will be hard to stay away for long…but I really want to focus on spending time with my littles, while they are still little. I want to spend every second I can with my husband when he is home because those seconds don’t come in huge quantities.

I want to unplug, take a step back and enjoy my family without a million other thoughts going on in my head about how this would make a great blog post, or OH NO, I have a review to be up tomorrow, I need to take pictures still etc…etc…

So, Making the World Cuter will still be here.

I won’t be here…as often.

Come back on Mondays though and share your stuff, because we will all still want to see what is making your world cuter.

I will miss you all and hope that you will understand…and that you’ll be around when I am ready to take this on again.
