Time: Saturday, Oct 24th; 4:00- 6:00pm
Cost: 30.00

When our second chakra is healthy we have an unbound life force. We are able to flow with change and bring our dreams and visions into reality through our untethered creativity. A healthy second chakra helps us honor and flow with our emotions and allows us the blessing of being able to enjoy the pleasures of this life.

In this special two-hour class, Olynda outlines the basics of yogic anatomy from an energetic perspective and how it relates to our yoga practices on and off the mat. After deepening our awareness of the big picture, we will focus on one vital piece- the second chakra, which is the seat of our creative ability in the energy body.

In this class we will use asana, belly dancing, chanting, journaling, aromatherapy, music and visualization, to sense, strengthen and nurture our second Chakra.

Joints – cartilage, connective tissue, ligament, tendon and bone – present many of us with chronic difficulty and are often quite difficult to heal. With the proper support (diet, exercise and plant medicine) joints can heal, arthritic conditions can be alleviated, and we can support our joints for a long life of comfortable activity.

This workshop will focus on:
• Understanding the joint structure.
• Examining the causes of joint decline.
• Discussing the diet and herbs that help rebuild connective tissue and bone – exploring traditional plant medicines used for arthritis and skeletal conditions.
• Learning and practicing specific chi gung exercises that open and energize the tendons and bones.
