¹²For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. ¹³Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

The Word of God is the most powerful weapon in the world. It has not got a "sell by" date or a "use by" date. It does not go stale or lose its power. It stands forever and it cannot be equalled. God's Word never returns back to Him void, without accomplishing that which it has been sent. He sends His Word out and it produces fruit always.

God created the whole of the universe by speaking words. The bible tells us in Genesis 1:1-3, " In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. And God said, "Let there be light", and there was light."

Out of this formless and emptiness, God called forth everything we know: life, light, matter, land, sea, the heavens, vegetation, man, woman, animals and everything else you can think of. He then made a final evaluation of His creative work and declared it to be very good. He put together form and order out of that which was formless and empty.

The Almighty put everything together so that humanity would see His glory. God and His Word are one. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning." John 1:1-2. His Word became flesh, our Lord Jesus Christ, and He made his dwelling among us.

Every Word of God is flawless and He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him. His Word is like fire and like a hammer that shatters a rock into pieces. God's Word is the sword of the Spirit and it is sharper than any double-edged sword. It cuts swift and deep into our innermost thoughts and desires, with all their parts. It judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. It is alive, active, powerful, touches hearts and changes lives.

We must endeavour to live by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God, because His Word is powerful and will never fail. Everything else in this world will fail; the grass withers and the flowers fall but the Word of God stands forever. Not one jot of God's Word will go unfulfilled. As you hold on to His Word, which is the Word of life, you will be in tune with the Almighty God Himself. And He will never disappoint you nor let you go to shame.

PRAYER OF SALVATION

If you have not already committed your life to Jesus and you would like to do so now, please pray this prayer:

"Lord Jesus, I am sorry for all the things I have done wrong. Thank you for dying for me on the cross, to set me free from my sins. I ask you to come into my life as my personal Lord and Saviour, and fill me with the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord Jesus. Amen."

Gods Plan or Our Plan

³¹ So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ ³² For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. ³³ But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. ³⁴ Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

I need to apologize to God and the people who follow this site. I have been neglecting posting messages on here. The reason is because I have not put God first here lately. My girlfriend and I recently separated. I did not agree with the breakup and it has consumed me. God has shown me through this breakup that I put the relationship with my girlfriend before him. I believe God has allowed this to happen in order for this message to be written.

There are millions of men and women who have been through exactly what I have went through. This message is being written so we can all do an evaluation of our priorities. I want everyone to think about your relationship with your spouse or significant other. I know you love that person very dearly. Jesus tell us that if we are not willing to walk away from our brother, sister, father, mother, husband, wife, girlfriend, or boyfriend we cannot see the kingdom of heaven. Listen to the scripture. Matt 10-37-38 ³⁷ “Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. ³⁸ Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me.

If there is anything in your life that is hindering your walk with Christ you need to separate from it. Here is test to see how serious you are about your love for God. Are you willing to ask God to destroy all the things in your life that he does not want there? Including relationships? My ex girlfriends faith and love for Jesus is that strong. She said God told her he did not want he in a relationship right now because it was hindering her walk with him. She loves me very much, but she loves God more. I admire her for obeying God. Through this breakup God has shown me my true values. I was focusing more on my relationship with her than my relationship with God. In order to wake me up to that fact he had to tear apart the relationship. He did not do it because he was angry. He did it because he loves me.

Our souls are more important to God than our relationships with others. Jesus says we can't enter into heaven if we put anything on this earth above him. It may not be a relationship. It could be money. God may be laying it on your heart to tithe and you are rebelling against it. It could be a job that God does not want you in, but you are to afraid to walk away from it. Listen to me people! God will never demand anything from you unless he plans to give you something 100 times better in return! He told Abraham to get up and leave his whole family and go into another country. Listen to the scripture. Genesis 12:1-4. ¹ The LORD had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you.

² “I will make you into a great nation,
   and I will bless you;
I will make your name great,
   and you will be a blessing.^[a]
³ I will bless those who bless you,
   and whoever curses you I will curse;
and all peoples on earth
   will be blessed through you.”^[b]

⁴ So Abram went, as the LORD had told him; and Lot went with him. Abram was seventy-five years old when he set out from Harran.

We can learn so much from this scripture. Do you realize how hard it was for Abraham to leave his people? Apparently not very hard. verse 4 says, Abram went as the Lord told him. We know very well that God kept his promise and Blessed Abraham.

This is the kind of faith God is looking for in us. If God blessed Abraham who did not have the promise, meaning Christ had not yet came. How much more will he Bless who have Christ as our advocate? More than we can imagine!

I will repeat myself one more time. God will never demand anything from you unless he plans to give you something 100 times better in return If there is anything in this world that is keeping you from completely loving and following Jesus then give it up for Christ. I promise you his Word is true. He will Bless you just like he Blessed Abraham. God has an awesome plan for all of us. I will leave you with these 2 promises from God.

Gods Love is Eternal

Romans 8:38-39 “I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from his love. Death can’t, and life can’t. The angels can’t, and the demons can’t. Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, and even the powers of hell can’t keep God’s love away. Whether we are high above the sky or in the deepest ocean, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord”

What really is there that can separate me from God’s love? Is there anything? Theoretically, I’d automatically say no, but let’s make this more practical.

Can the repeated times I’ve repented only to fall back into the very same sin pattern the next day cause God to fall out of love with me?

Can my own deep insecurities and fears about me, others, and even God negate His love?

Can all the promises I’ve broken, even the broken promises to pray for others, or the general lack of discipline and passion drive God away?

Can anything in heaven or earth or in hell overcome the love of Christ?

The answer to all these is a resounding NO. There’s not even the possibility of a yes in any of these. Nothing else can even touch the power of God’s love or His ability to find and rescue you or the power of His love to hold on to you once you’re his. Nothing. His love overcame the cross, all our sin, the grave and death, and hell. Anything else is a piece of cake.

That's not to say that we can go and live our life anyway we want and expect to make it to heaven. God does love everyone. Sinner and saint. The question is do we love God? That is gonna be what God judges us on when we stand before him. His love will never fade away. It is always us who slips away from him. This "falling away" or repeated sinning hardens our hearts to God. But God never hardens his hearts to us. He will allow us to fall into our sins and lose things in our life. Understand, he is not doing this to destroy us, or because he doesn't love us. He is doing it to push us into righteousness. So, I do not care how bad your life may be right now. I do not care how much sin you have commited. God is still with you. he still loves you. Know that as long as you have a breath in you, you have a chance to repent and get into his will.

If you are truly born of God then you will understand what it means to love God. You will also understand that God loves you beyond human imagination. The person who is born of God does not make a practice of sinning. Let the scriptures testify to this: 1 John 3: 7-9 "⁷ Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. The one who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous. ⁸ The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work. ⁹ No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God."

So, we can see from this scripture that it is us who fall out of love with God through our sins. The great news is, Jesus came for the sinner. So repent and start practicing righteousness. Get it in your mind that God loves you regardless of what you have done.

Rest in His love. Believe that His love can transform you. Let it enrapture and captivate your heart. And most of all, make yourself a vessel for His love to fill and flow through. Because those around you need His love, too.

Praise God In All Things

¹⁴ Do everything without grumbling or arguing, ¹⁵ so that you may become blameless and pure, “children of God without fault in a warped and crooked generation.”^[a] Then you will shine among them like stars in the sky.

It's easy to Praise God when things are going great. However, God tells us we should praise him at all times. Always complaining about our problems will actually keep us stuck in them. If we want to rise above our problems in life we must give thanks in everything. Yes, that includes the problems we are going through today. See your problems as a way to build your faith and trust in God. Thank God for what you are going through and then trust him to deliver you.

We should at all times offer up thanks to God for all the Blessings he has given us. Hebrews 13:15-16 says, "¹⁵ Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess his name. ¹⁶ And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased." If we would stop and make a list of all the good things God has given us we would surely have a lot to be thankful for. Thankfulness is one of the keys to getting set free from our problems. Telling others about the great things Jesus has done in your life is another way to increase your faith. It greatly pleases god to hear us give him the praise and recognition for what we have received.

God does not want to hear us complaining about the terrible situations we are in. Don't you know He already knows we are in them. In fact, He has orchestrated them to come upon us. He has not allowed these problems to come upon us to destroy us. That's not his plan. He has allowed us to go through our problems to push us into righteousness. He wants us to turn to him and give thanks for what we are going through and put our trust in him to get us out of them. You may ask, why should I thank God for this terrible mess I am in? The reason you should thank him is because not only has he allowed it to come on you, he also has the power to set you free from it! So thank God that he has sent his son Jesus to set us free from everything we are faced with today.

Listen to his word in Ephesians 5:19-20, "¹⁹ speaking to one another with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit. Sing and make music from your heart to the Lord, ²⁰ always giving thanks to God the Father for EVERYTHING, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ." While Paul was in prison he did not once complain about how terrible of a mess he was in. Instead, he sang psalms and hymns to God. As he was doing this all of a sudden the doors were opened and he was set free. that is exactly what will happen to us when we start thanking God in the midst of our struggles. So, today stop complaining about how bad your life is. complaining is never going to get you out of your circumstances. Instead, put Gods word to the test like he tells us to do in Ephesians 5:21. Start thanking God for everything and trust that in due time he will deliver you from all your problems. He knows and understands what you are going through. He is patiently waiting on you to call on him in praises and worship to set you free.

I will end with a great scripture that defines his great power working within us. Ephesians 3:20-21, "²⁰ Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, ²¹ to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen."

Everyone please go back and read that scripture once more. Pay attention to what God is telling Moses. He is telling him exactly what he plans to do for the Israelites. He first acknowledges that he has heard the cry of Israel and has looked upon their affliction. Second, he has promised to bring them out of their misery and lead them into a land flowing with milk and honey. Third, he chooses Moses to carry out hs plan.
He tells Moses from the very beginning that he plans on saving the Israelites from Egypt. He also tells Moses in verse 19 that he knows the king of Egypt will not let them go at first. He then says in verse 21 that he will stretch out his hand and strike the Egyptians and he will finally let them go. Do you see what God is doing here? He is revealing to us his great nature. He is declaring the end from the beginning. He tells Moses everything that is going to take place before he ever speaks one word to pharaoh.

God sent his son Jesus in order to give us the victory in all things. If you are a christian you have the right to live a life of victory. God tells us in deut 28:12 that he will open to us his good treasure and bless our land and everything we set out to do! What a promise! We have the advantage over our enemy, satan. We already have the game won before we ever show up to play it. All we have to bring to the game is the Word of God and our Faith in Jesus. The victory is ours. It's really that simple.

Satan knows he is a defeated foe. Satans plan is to instill enough fear in us to keep us from receiving what we are hoping for. He uses fear and doubt to keep us from receiving the Blessings of God. I'll give you an example of how he works. Suppose God has been laying it on your heart to leave your job and go into ministry. He has even reassured you that he will prosper you even more when you do this.You love the Lord and want to work for him, but you keep hearing this voice saying, if you quit your job you are going to have no money to pay your bills, your wife will leave you, and you will lose everything you have. Folks, that's a classic attack of satan. What you are hearing is not Godly. It's full of fear and doubt. It's a ploy from satan to create worry in your mind, which will stop the miracle working power of God in your life. That's not how God operates. The voice of God is full of love and faith. he tells us to test the spirits.

Understand that God is never going to send us on a journey and leave us stranded. It took the israelites 40 years to go on a 3 day journey. why? because of there lack of faith. God never left them. But his miracle working power was stopped by their disobedience and lack of faith. God wants to prosper us in this life. he has told us that in his word. Just listen to his word in Jeremiah 29:11 "¹¹ For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." He is declaring the end from the beginning to us right here in scripture. It's up to us to put our faith into action and receive this promise.

So how do we receive this? well, first of all you have to claim it and believe God can perform what he is promising here. You claim it through prayer. Come boldly to the throne of Grace knowing that Jesus is standing right there with you. Thank God for sending Jesus to the cross for your sins. Let him know that you know because of your faith in Jesus you have the right to have any promise wriiten in the Word. Then declare the promise to God. Make it personal. You may say something like this, "God you have promised me in Jeremiah 29:11 that your plan is to prosper me and give me a future and a hope. Well God I fully believe you will fulfill this promise in my life." Then lay your problem out to God. If you are in a financial crisis you may Say, "Lord you see my struggles. I'm flat broke. I can barely provide for my family. It's causing a great strain on me, my wife, and my children. I know this isn't what your plan is for your children. You have promised me that you will bless me in all the work of my hands (deut 28:12). God you sent Jesus to fulfill your word in my life. I'm claiming this word today, and I fully expect it to be fulfilled in my life through your son Jesus. Amen." Folks, if you prayed this today then show God your faith and stand! I don't care how bad the situation looks. If you prayed this prayer show God your FAITH in the midst of the storm and I promise you will get your Blessing.

That brings me to the second part of receiving from God. Understand that prayer doesn't change things. Prayer is communication with God. Your FAITH changes things. I will say that again. Prayer does not change things. FAITH changes things. This is where so many people fail in receiving Gods promises. Look back at the story of Moses. God had told Moses that Pharaoh was not at first going to let his people go. So Moses goes to speak to Pharaoh and tells him to let the Israellites go on a 3 day journey into the wilderness. Well, pharaoh not only said no, he also put alot of extra work on the Israelites because they had slowed down progress when they heard what Moses was asking. So what did Moses do after he heard this? Well lets look at the scripture. Exodus 5:22-23, "²² Moses returned to the LORD and said, “Why, Lord, why have you brought trouble on this people? Is this why you sent me? ²³ Ever since I went to Pharaoh to speak in your name, he has brought trouble on this people, and you have not rescued your people at all.” Wow! How quickly Moses forgot what God had said. God told him that at first Pharaoh will say no. So many people do the same thing. They stand on Gods word for a while then when disaster strikes, or things don't happen fast enough they start to doubt Gods word. They wonder why their circumstances never change for the better. they say things like it's just Gods will for me to live in poverty or be in bad health or whatever bad situation they are in.

I'm here to tell you that's NOT true! The only reason you are still living in the mess you are in is because you are doubting Gods word! Faith changes things. God says clearly in his Word that his plan is not to harm us, but to PROSPER US AND GIVE US A FUTURE AND A HOPE. Show God some true faith. He has given us a way out of the mess we are living in. All we have to do is show him our faith and he will show us the Blessing!

James 1:2-8, "² Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,^[a] whenever you face trials of many kinds, ³because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. ⁴ Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. ⁵ If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. ⁶ But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. ⁷ That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. ⁸ Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do.'

After reading the scripture above you have no excuse for doubting. Understand that in order to receive anything from God you must first go through a test. It's the test of FAITH and PATIENCE. If you will persevere to the end I promise Gods word will come to pass in your life. be patient and wait on the lord. I don't care how bad the situation looks. Understand the worse it looks the better because you can truly see Gods miracle working power when he brings you out of it.

God has told us he wants us living in victory. He has given us all the tools to use to bring his promises to pass. Today, will you claim Gods promises and activate your faith to receive them? Put Gods Word to the test and show him you trust his son Jesus to bring it to pass. Stand in the face of the storm and I promise you will have the victory. God Bless you

^{Glatians 3:13-14 "13} Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole.”^[a] ¹⁴ He redeemed us in order that the blessing or covenant given to Abraham might come to the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, so that by faith we might receive the promise of the Spirit."

The purpose of a covenant is to establish a relationship that is impossible to break. Long ago, God, through his everlasting love with mankind made a everlasting covenant with us. Through our faith in Jesus Christ we have became heirs to his covenant. That means we have a right to claim everything written in it. Deut ch. 28 and ch. 30 was written to the heirs of the covenant God made with abraham. It's an unchangeable written statement of Gods will and desire to bless us. Duet ch. 28 lays out the blessings. Deut ch. 30 tells of how to receive the Blessings.
Now, through Jesus Christ we can receive Gods blessings through faith. In the old covenant God laid out the blessings and cursings. It had a curse because it was made with Abraham, who was a man and could sin. The new covenant is now made with Jesus Christ. He is incapable of breaking the terms of the covenant, so there is no need for a curse. gal 3:13-14 says Christ redeemed us from the curse by becoming a curse for us so the blessings might come on us through faith. When he went to the cross he broke the curse forever. Isaiah 54:7-10 says, ⁷ “For a brief moment I abandoned you,
but with deep compassion I will bring you back. ⁸ In a surge of anger
I hid my face from you for a moment, but with everlasting kindness
I will have compassion on you,” says the LORD your Redeemer.

⁹ “To me this is like the days of Noah, when I swore that the waters of Noah would never again cover the earth. now I have sworn not to be angry with you, never to rebuke you again. ¹⁰ Though the mountains be shaken
and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken
nor my COVENANT of peace be removed, says the LORD, who has compassion on you."

We enter the new covenant by becoming joint heirs with Jesus. He has co-signed with us on the covenant. You can trust his credit is more than excellent. He is the covenant partner with God.Through his shed blood for our sins we now have a new way to enter the presence of God. Jesus is our covenant representative. He is the only mediator between us and God. He has given us his name and the right to use it. He has given us his weapons. He has given us his power. and he has given us his identity. So that's why he says come boldly to the throne of Grace. You are coming there with Jesus. He has co-signed with us on all the blessings. All we have to do is claim what is ours through the name of Jesus.

Gods covenant supplies us with everything we will ever need. Our first need is to reestablish a relationship with God. This is done through faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. Matt 6:33 says "seek first the kingdom of God and its righteousness, then all these things will be added unto you." It is impossible to receive the covenant if you do not first establish a relationship with Jesus. The second part is we have to love one another. John 15:12 says, "this is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you." Once that relationship is established you have full access to all of Gods blessings. To learn of the blessings read Deut ch. 28.

John 3:16 says, "God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son so that we should not perish but have everlasting life." Gods everlasting love for us is more than the human mind can conceive. You can see the length he has went to to reestablish a relationship with him. God wants to Bless us. He wants to deliver us. It's up to us to have faith in his son Jesus and receive the blessings.

I will close with this. John 15:13-17 ¹³ Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. ¹⁴ You are my friends if you do what I command. ¹⁵ I no longer call you servants, because a servant does not know his master’s business. Instead, I have called you friends, for everything that I learned from my Father I have made known to you. ¹⁶ You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you. ¹⁷ This is my command: Love each other." Gods covenant is unchangeable. It has the power to supply us with more abundance than we can imagine. Receive his son Jesus today and become Heir to this great contract God has made with mankind. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
This is a great promise from ther Lord. Claim it as yours. Declare right now that your future and plans are in the hands on the Lord. Declare right now that God is prospering you according to His Word. It's great to know we have a God that cares about our future. he gives us so much hope.

Romans 12:2 2And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
Everything action we have ever taken has began with a thought. A thought comes before an action. Thats why it says in the Word to be transformed by the renewing of your mind. It doesnot say by the renewing of your actions. Our mind is our thoughts. So if you want to change your lifestyle you must first change your thoughts about your life.
We are what we think about all day long! If you want a better relationship with God, health, wealth, success, or to break a sinful habit you have to first decide you want it. Share your feelings, wants and desires with God. Second, start thinking of ways to accomplish your goal. Third, hear from the Lord and act on what he tells you to do.
START thinking about how you envision your life to be. START thinking about ways to improve your christian walk. START thinking about actions you can take to improve in all areas of your life. STOP thinking about how bad things are for you right now. STOP thinking about what you don't want to happen.
Pray to God and tell him about your plans. Trust that he will lead and guide you to receive what you are asking for. He already has a plan for us, he's just waiting on us to get into his will. Here's a scripture to stand on. Proverbs 16:9 "In his heart a man plans his course, but the LORD determines his steps."
The word heart is intercangeable with thoughts. Also the word determines is replaced with directs in some versions.
So, we now understand that we plan, or think about the ways to live our life. But God is the one who directs our steps to reach our goals. If we will always set our thoughts on Gods plan then we will be victorious in all areas of our life. Start trusting that inner voice inside you. That voice is the Holy Spirit. He is a person. So get to know him and let him form your thought life.
Most importantly, and this is the final step, act on Gods Word!! So many people have missed out on Gods blessings because they were afraid to act on what God told them to do!! Understand that God will never lead you astray. Also, understand that what ever we are expecting to happen probaly won't happen the we we think it will. That's because God wants to do it in a way that we will know it was ONLY HIM who brought that to pass in our life. God told Abraham to kill his son. Abraham didn't question God about this. He was obedient to God. He went through the process and right before he stabbed Issac God stopped him and gave him a lamb to sacrifice. So, please act on what God is telling you to do. It may not make much sense, but it will at some point when you receive the Blessing.
In closing, remember that thoughts become things. So take a guard over your thoughts. Allow God to form them inside you. Your thoughts will become his thoughts when you really begin reading and meditating on his word. Trust God to direct your steps. Your steps are ordered by the Lord. So act on what he is telling you to do. You may ask, Kevin what should I be thinking about. Well I'll let the Word answer that for you. Phillipians 4:8 Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--THINK about such things. Psalms 27:14: "Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, and he will strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord."
Patience is a hard thing to have when we need something important in our life to happen. God tells us that patience builds our faith. A good example I can give you is this. I was in the Marines for 4 years. My first duty station was Okinawa, Japan. I was 19 years old and had never been away from my family. My granny would send me tons of letters. I remember a few times I had ran short on money and would call her and ask if she would send me some. I would be so relieved when she said yes, I will put it in the mail. I knew my problem was handled because I trusted my grannys word.
Thats how our relationship with God should be. Once we ask for something believe we receive it from him. We don't have to have it manifest right away, but know it's in the mail and on the way. God says wait on him, be of good courage and he will strengthen us. This is a promise from him. We have a right as a believer in Jesus to come boldy to the throne of Grace and claim his promises. So, put Gods Word back on him and show him your faith and he will answer you. He wants us to put his word to the test.
So the next time you are faced with a problem dont worry. Instead, give it to God, then Wait patiently on him to move in your situation. Remember, once you ask, the check is in the mail. God Bless all of you.

Choose life in Christ

Deut. 30:19 says, " This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live. " What is life? This is a riddle God has given us the answer to. He has to told us to choose to live for him. He never said he was gonna make us do it. It's our choice. Yet so many of us don't adhere to it and chose to live our own way.
Everyone one of us has been tempted by sin. But no matter how strong the temptation is God has given us the victory through his son Jesus. The power of Christ, which is in us, which we have inherited through his blood and acceptance of him as our Lord and savior, has the power to overcome Every single sin we are faced with. It's up to us to listen and obey that still, small voice inside us. That voice is the Holy Spirit who God has gave to us. He is there to lead and guide us into Righteousness.
1John 3: 7-9 say, "7Dear children, do not let anyone lead you astray. He who does what is right is righteous, just as he is righteous. 8He who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning. The reason the Son of God appeared was to destroy the devil’s work. 9No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in him; he cannot go on sinning, because he has been born of God. 10This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not a child of God; nor is anyone who does not love his brother.
So knowing we have the power to overcome sin because God's seed lives in us should give us pure joy and confidence that we can overcome any temptation! He goes on to say in Deut 30:11-14, "11Now what I am commanding you today is not too difficult for you or beyond your reach. 12It is not up in heaven, so that you have to ask, “Who will ascend into heaven to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?” 13Nor is it beyond the sea, so that you have to ask, “Who will cross the sea to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?” 14No, the word is very near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart so you may obey it." We have the Word of God. The power to obey God comes from hearing and reading his word. Thats why he said it's near us, in our mouth and hearts. So do what joshua 1:8 tells us and meditate on his words day and night. He says then your ways will be good and prosperous.
The answer to the question I asked in the first chapter is simple. Jesus said I am the way, the truth and the LIFE. Jesus came that we may have life. So when God is saying choose life, he is saying choose his son Jesus. Choose to live for him. Choose to cast off your old ways and walk in a way that is pleasing to him. Choose to have Faith in Him no matter how bad the situation looks. Thats what choosing life means.
Always ask yourself everytime you set out to do something, what am I doing this for? Are my actions pleasing to Jesus? How is Jesus being Glorified in my actions? Would Jesus do what I am about to do? If you are being convicted by your spirit, which is the Holy Spirit, then you know you are wrong. Your conscience is your way out. But it's up to you to decide what action to take. Please know that If you will submit to him you CANNOT fail.
I began with a question, so I will end with a question. Joshua 24:15 says, "But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD." I choose Life and to live for Jesus. So my question for you today is, "will you choose to live for jesus? Will you choose LIFE?
