Its has been a while since last i post anything significant in this blog. Time is really really jealous of me. I never had a quiet time to really think about a post, a quality post that have something to do with life, with BlackBerry and everything in the middle of two.

And i am back in KL for good now. It has been three months since my golden arrival at KLIA, after a four years hiatus abroad, living the dreams, chasing the dreams. And im back to reality.

One big thing i noticed about living back in KL was not the living condition, food, entertaiment etc, but the sudden changes in the fabric of the society, where openness in discussions on Malaysian Politics has seen a level never thought by elders that can be achieved before.

At Mamak, you'll see and listen to discussions about Malaysian politics. At School, Office, Corporate jungle in KL Golden Triangle or the brickbats near Jalan Petaling. Its all politics, politics and politics.

Its either BN or PR or somebody else in between ie KITA, HRP, KIMMA etc

They say its normal. Its the General Election season. It'll only getting busier when PM finally announce the GE date. i can smell what's in the air. its so near.

Many say GE13 will be the mother of all GE. The choice is clearer, its either Barisan Nasional (BN) or Pakatan Rakyat (PR).

MalayaBerry.com is interested in dwelling in these issues, if time permits. It will be between BlackBerry and Politics.

BlackBerry PlayBook Launch on April 19 2011

Thats it. For those Blackberry's addicts, the long wait is over. The pain and agony of watching IPad and recently IPad 2 launched and dominated the tablet market has also over.

Research In Motion Ltd.'s long-awaited tablet, the BlackBerry PlayBook, will go on sale in the United States and Canada on April 19 at a base price of USD499.

The WiFi-enabled PlayBook, which will compete against Apple’s iPad and iPad2, will come in 16 gigabyte, 32 gigabyte and 64 gigabyte versions priced at USD499, USD599 and USD699 respectively.

RIM announced plans to launch the long-awaited device, with a seven-inch screen, in 2010. The tablet will be able to stream a high-definition video to a television screen via a HDMI cable, while allowing users to run other applications at the same time.

For UK and other regions, the launch date however is not confirmed yet. if we were to use the launch date of IPad and IPad 2 in the UK as benchmark, we should be able to see and buy the PlayBook at the end of May of June 2011. Ciao

If you guys really dont see any coolness in PlayBook, the video below might changed your perception. Ramai dh push saya untuk blog mengenai isu-isu lain selain blackberry(tk bestpon). Jadi idea banyak. Cuma masa takde nk susun idea-idea tu jadi satu entry blog ni. Maybe selepas ini lebih banyak masa yg boleh saya concentrate untuk blog isu-isu lain.

Tapi cerita pasal video lucah yang kononnya dilakonkan oleh seorang top politician Malaysia semalam (21 Mar 2010) di dada-dada akhbar,fb dan twitter membuatkan saya tertanya-tanya..apa sudah jadi dengan negara ini.

Ini seperti Jatuh bangun negara ditentukan melalui kes-kes mahkamah berkaitan sodomi,seks dan kes-kes lucah yang semacam itu. perbincangan harian kita sudah tidak lg tertumpu isu-isu lain namun dikedai kopi, pejabat, restoran, kaki lima semua berkisar ttg seks dan seksualiti.

Generasi ini sudah dihidang isu tersebut sejak 1998 lagi. Sampai bila kita nak dipandu minda memikirkan siapa yg benar/yg betul/ yang salah dan yang kalah dalam kes-kes sebegini?

Alangkah boringnya seorang rakyat yg hidup di sebuah negara yang bernama Malaysia.

macam aku dah tengok je kalau korang baca aku punya title post. Sebenarnya aku belum tengok sebab aku masih di luar negara. Tapi ini kali kedua setelah aku puji filem epik Puteri Gunung Ledang, aku puji filem epik tempatan. dengarnya kos RM 8 Juta untuk buat filem epik ni, sangat2la berbaloi. ini adalah jwapan aku utk soalan exam esk..hahaha!!tp crita ni mmg bestla sbb tiket rm6 jer...x mahal dan berbaloi sgt utk ditonton berbanding dgn filem2 melayu yg lain..bukan aku pndang rendah pd filem lain tp seharusnya industri perfileman mmg patut buat filem2 mcm ni,bukannya cerita seram,cinta or komedi..filem mcm ni telah menaikkan martabat industri perfileman di negara ini dan secara jujurnya aku nk ckp,filem ini adlah filem pertama yg akn mengubah persepsi aku terhadp filem2 melayu slps ini..congrats KRU..aku bangga jd anak malaysia..^.^

JAKARTA, 17 Jan — Setelah diancam kerajaan Indonesia untuk menghentikan perkhidmatan Internetnya, pengeluar BlackBerry, Research in Motion (RIM) hari ini bersetuju mematuhi undang-undang republik itu untuk menyaring kandungan pornografi.

Persetujuan itu dinyatakan Pengarah Urusan RIM Asia Tenggara Gregory Wade pada pertemuan rasminya dengan pegawai kanan Kementerian Komunikasi dan Informatika di Jakarta pada Isnin, iaitu hari terakhir bagi syarikat itu mematuhi peraturan tersebut. Bagaimanapun, RIM meminta tempoh 100 jam atau sehingga Jumaat untuk berbuat demikian dan meletakkan beberapa syarat, namun tidak menghuraikannya dengan lebih lanjut.Ketua Pusat Informasi dan Perhubungan Awam kementerian itu Gatot S. Dewa Broto berkata syarat persetujuan RIM itu akan dikaji.

“Kami belum boleh mengatakan bahawa RIM telah sepenuhnya mematuhi peraturan di Indonesia kerana kami mempunyai versi yang berbeza berhubung soal komitmen,” katanya pada sidang media selepas pertemuan itu.

Sementara itu, Menteri Komunikasi dan Informatika Tifatul Sembiring memaklumkan Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat (DPR) petang ini bahawa pihaknya tetap meminta RIM mematuhi undang-undang Indonesia, termasuk menghapuskan laman pornografi dalam perkhidmatan Blackberry serta membuka pusat datanya di republik itu untuk kepentingan keselamatan nasional.Beliau berkata RIM telah memberikan persetujuan secara bertulis berhubung isu laman pornografi.

Indonesia menuntut lapan perkara daripada RIM sebagai syarat untuk ia dibenarkan terus beroperasi di republik itu.Selain penghapusan laman pornografi dan pembukaan pusat data, kementerian itu meminta RIM membuka pusat perkhidmatan di Indonesia bagi melayan pengguna, termasuk khidmat lepas jualan produk berkenaan.

Pengguna Blackberry di Indonesia pada masa ini telah mencapai tiga juta orang dan RIM dilapor memperoleh pendapatan berjumlah Rp189 bilion sebulan, atau sekitar Rp2.3 trilion setahun melalui perkhidmatan tersebut.

Meskipun tidak membuka pusat perkhidmatan di republik itu, RIM bekerjasama dengan enam syakikat telefon selular nasional di Indonesia bagi menguruskan perkhidmatannya.Pengguna Blackberry dikenakan Rp100,000 hingga Rp150,000 sebulan bagi perkhidmatan Internet tanpa had.Syarikat itu memperoleh antara AS$7 dan AS$8 daripada setiap pelanggan setiap bulan dan pendapatan itu dihantar terus ke ibu pejabat RIM di Waterloo, Kanada.Tifatul berkata RIM tidak membayar cukai pendapatan di Indonesia.Sehubungan itu, beliau berkata kerajaan hanya boleh meminta kesemua syarikat usaha sama RIM meningkatkan tanggungjawab sosial mereka terhadap republik berkenaan. — Bernama

Rais: Malaysia Will Not Ban Blackberry Use

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 10 (Bernama) -- Malaysia will not ban the use of the Blackberry smartphone as of now as it has not caused any problem with regard to security, culture and administration, said Information Communication and Culture Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim.

However, he said, if there were sections of society with the facts to prove that the Blackberry phone were causing problems, the ministry through the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC), would investigate the matter under the country's existing laws.

"If there are problems (from Blackberry usage), I want to receive the evidence from Malaysians themselves. Therefore, we should not act hastily on this matter," he said after a meeting with Culture Department directors, Monday.

He was referring to reports that the Indonesian government planned to ban the use of the Blackberry phone in the republic if its order for the service provider to implement pornography blockers and to create a server is not adhered to within two weeks.

Rais said the MCMC had already done a study and found that Malaysia also did not face the problems experienced by Arab Saudi and India involving the use of the smartphone.

Asked whether Malaysia would ask the telecommunications company to create a server in this country, Rais said it was a commercial matter and should be considered in the context of whether the company had breached the law under the Communications and Multimedia Act 1998.

"So far, I have not been informed of any breach of the law, so it's not proper at this juncture to say what action can be taken as there have been no reports (complaints)," he said.

Because I’m addicted. By demand, I fiend for my email to be pushed at all times. Makes me feel more connected, and “organized.” Maybe not just email, but messages directed towards as through BlackBerry Messenger and text messaging as well. Even when we have our notifications turned on with a vibrate or loud ring, we find ourselves checking consistently if there are any new messages.

For me, my “sickness” started on with my mornings or when waking up in the middle of the night. As soon as my eyes would open, I’d reach for my BlackBerry and to see what I had missed while sleeping. Sadly we look at it as “missing out,” and that’s why we’re so tuned into new notifications. Later on, I stopped using holsters and belt clips just because my BlackBerry was always in my hand. It never was away from me, and I’d be on top of a message as soon as it was received.

So back to the title, I always find myself checking and refreshing when my notifications are turned on anyway. You get the idea. We have become really addicted to receiving data on our mobiles. That’s what the new thing is. And it doesn’t only apply to BlackBerry, but all you Apple fanboys on iPhones and Android abusers too. How is your smartphone addiction? I have the same (or perhaps, higher) addiction when it comes to my BlackBerry. We used to bring newspapers or prepare magazines in the toilet so it will be a good companion while having our 'business'. not so now as i have a BB and what i need is my BB and only BB! share your experience!

2010 has been a remarkable year personally for me. In my life and my career, i've achieved many notable high points along the year. On blogging world however, there's a lot of more things i need to learn. Nonetheless, for 2011, we aim high and we will strive to make everything better.

2010 adalah tahun yang amat special, kerana turning 30, membuatkan aku buat pertama kalinya, melakukan sesuatu yang meaningful, and to some extents, life changing. 2010 adalah tahun yang membuatkan aku sedar bahawa in life, sebenarnya banyak perkara kita boleh capai, dengan syarat kita betul-betul berusaha untuk mencapai apa yang kita mahukan. kelahiran blog ini adalah sesuatu yang tak pernah aku impikan. Dan ia survive untuk tahun pertama.

Moga 2011 memberi sesuatu yang lebih bermakna dalam hidup. banyak yang dirancang tapi akhir sekali, tuhan yang akan menentukan. Jadi aku pasrah kerana aku hanya akan berusaha. Tapi janji aku MalayaBerry.com akan terus hidup. hidup successfully. InsyaAllah
