Yesterday I heard that the company which operate this 'gyro tower' owed some RM21 million to a third party.

I hope it will not end up like Eye On Malaysia stupidity.

This tower was the idea of CM, most probably he should have answer some dispute on its profitability rather than its glamorous identity.

Who will paid that debt, of course thru people's money.

Hehehe.

Since Air Asia and MAS refused to operates in Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa Batu Berendam, Melaka's Ali Rutam decided that the state shall operate in the airport through Melaka Air which will fly mainly to Indonesia.

A great idea ain't it?

We have KLIA and Senai Airport in-between Melaka. And both are range about 280km and within 2 hours driving if you're fast enough.

Anyway, we'll see who will become the pilot and stewardess in Melaka Air very soon, I bet on it. Sure the Melaka Air will have enough money too to rent out either Boeing or Airbus!!! Or is it better to lease?

recent news that I've read are that Melaka state government have offered RM10 million to what supposed to be their assets thru a state investment agency previously...and the EXCUSES are offered as usual for their non-capacity of purchasing power...yet they brag to get a new ferris wheel from China at a lower cost...YOU BE THE JUDGE!!!!

Kerajaan negeri batal beli Eye On Malaysia

MELAKA 29 April - Kerajaan negeri mungkin membatalkan hasratnya untuk membeli Eye On Malaysia setelah pemilik asalnya Fitraco NV dari Belgium enggan menerima tawaran RM10 juta yang ditawarkan.

Ketua Menteri, Datuk Seri Mohd. Ali Rustam berkata, syarikat tersebut mahu menjual roda gergasi itu pada harga RM14.8 juta dan pada masa yang sama kerajaan negeri juga mungkin mendapatkan produk tersebut dari China.

Menurutnya, keputusan untuk membeli roda gergasi dari China dibuat kerana ia jauh lebih murah iaitu RM7 juta bagaimanapun ia bergantung pada syarikat Belgium itu sama ada mahu membuka semula operasi Eye On Malaysia atau menjualnya kepada syarikat lain.

''Kerajaan negeri tidak kejam terhadap Fitraco setelah mereka enggan menerima tawaran RM10 juta. Saya memberi kelonggaran kepada mereka untuk membuat pilihan sama ada membuka semula operasi Eye On Malaysia, menjual atau menyewa kepada syarikat swasta yang berminat.

''Kerajaan negeri tidak akan lagi melabur ke atas Eye One Malaysia jika syarikat dari Belgium itu ingin meneruskan operasi roda gergasi itu, cuma mereka perlu membayar sewa tanah dengan kadar yang akan dirundingkan semula," katanya.

Beliau berkata demikian kepada pemberita selepas melawat Hotel Abadi yang dalam pembinaan di Melaka Raya dekat sini semalam.

Sebelum ini, kerajaan negeri memberi tempoh 10 hari kepada Fitraco untuk menerima tawaran daripada kerajaan negeri bagi membeli roda gergasi itu dengan harga RM10 juta.

Mohd. Ali berkata, jika syarikat terbabit masih enggan menerima tawaran tersebut setelah tamat tempoh 10 hari yang diberikan, kerajaan negeri akan mengenakan sewa tanah yang menempatkan roda gergasi itu dengan kadar RM10,000 sehari.

Tempoh 10 hari itu akan berakhir esok.

Mengenai tempoh yang diberikan, Ketua Menteri berkata, kerajaan negeri akan bersikap lebih adil terhadap pemilik asal Eye On Malaysia tersebut untuk mengambil langkah tertentu bagi roda gergasi itu beroperasi semula.

''Jika semua pilihan yang diberikan oleh kerajaan negeri gagal dilaksanakan oleh Fitraco, mungkin mereka boleh memindah roda gergasi ke tempat lain dan kita ada rancangan untuk membeli roda gergasi baru dari China," katanya.

Mohd. Ali berkata, sudah ada syarikat swasta menawarkan diri untuk membeli roda gergasi sama seperti Eye On Malaysia dan bercadang untuk menempatkannya di Dataran 1Malaysia di Klebang.

i hoped next year the quiz committee's will add another subject for questioning i.e. public sector accounting

most of the undergraduates currently are not exposed to the vast development and opportunity in the public sector

they will be surprise if they know the challenges waiting ahead of them in the government environment

just a hunch...Husni denied it recently...but I think they will not proceed with the plan next year

everybody are not ready even though the government said they're ready

the implementation will have hick-up here and there...people will be MAD...REALLY MAD because they have to pay the price higher

when the government said they will control the price and exempt GST on certain items...they think the people don't see how ECONOMIC-CHAIN runs in the country

i still think that the FAPIAO RECEIPT implementation in China was the best approach to collect tax from the people(more people-friendly)

so Malaysia Government...why don't you just do THAT?

i noticed that in order to attract more people....MAYBE the management could do a little bit 'make-up' on their's membership form(amid that they're non-profit organisation but please put a little bit effort to know your future members)

Shell contest vs Petronas Contest

today will be the beginning of Petronas contest and it will end on 28th March 2010

i am a loyal user of Petronas before the Shell contest start on 30th November 2009

now...i am prepare to switch totally to Shell as it have saved me a lot in term of money and more mileage

Petronas are seen desperate by Shell promotion and they just have to improve a 'LOT' in their Primax95 for me to switch to them again

the Eye On Malaysia dispute in court are a disgrace for the Malacca state government

they willing to bid for it, if the auction are the last resort for settlement

but from what i 'heard' from the state government management, they are struggling to cope with the day-to-day operation(cashflow) and come SUKMA this mid-year as a host

the bragging of "we have the money to take over EOM" are merely exaggeration of bankrupt-idea politician

10 years since I left UiTM

2010, next year will be the 10th years that I have left UiTM. Much have changed since then, be it to me, my family, career, socially and politically. I grew to be a pre-matured men (coz I felt that I’m still young) by the process of life.

Somebody has just told me that I had the experience of hard labor due to my family background; and guess what…. I’m proud of it. Why? Because I can say to you people out there that though I’m doing average in UiTM…I’m doing it with my way. The temptation to cheat in exam was really high when you have 4 papers failed to be repeated…but I just don’t buy that…the sweat, money, time and HELP from friends and families are just worth it.

In 2000, I start up my career as a caterer manager (the salary was RM1200) with a college just for a month. The rebel spirits in me just don’t fade away easily. I have had a quarrel with my boss in EPF issue which he declined to contributed for staffs. Then I start helping his brother who runs gas-cylinder business for a few weeks before I got a new job.

The new job was in an Indian audit firm. I start with a pay of RM400 (then RM800 after 3 month probation). I stayed with the firm for almost 2 years (my last pay was RM1150).
I joined a bank after that…but it last only for 3 months with a salary RM1710 (disappointed with Terengganu’s Wang Ihsan fund the bank disbursed). I think by now maybe you will think that I’m a job-hopper. But it is me who is in loss here not you.

I’m back to the audit practices with a Chinese-Malay firm (see, I’m not racist, can work with anyone…hehehe). The pay was RM1350. It was just enough for me to get married at that time. It troubled me when you have 2 bosses who based in two different locations. They have the management issue here. I try not to think about it…but it getting worse day to day (until today they still have this issue of cash-flow…you will be surprised they’re called accountant). And so I left the firm and joined a management company, in which I play a role of Company Secretary cum Internal Auditor. I nearly succeeded in making the company listed in 2nd board thru a ‘back-door’ arrangement…but Datuk(my boss lorr) was not to keen in investing too much money. The other company who supposed to be a joint-partner has made it without us and secured lot of contracts who based in naval somewhere in Johore. And there’s again…the dispute spark…and I migrate to the public sector (the pay was OKAY).

I’ll tell you next time…what was its feel working there…lot of my friends say that “you’re lucky” because they’re not HERE yet.

Last Friday i managed to upgrade my cell firmware.

The process was smoothed and i like the additional themes that it gave out plus the new Search layout.

But today I pray that i could revert to the previous firmware...why...I lost many of my precious data/file in the cell's memory card...i just couldn't figured out what caused it?

I blame my kids and my wife for a while... and I'm wrong... and I seek their forgiveness thru this blog(I won't do it in front of them...let just hope they will read it someday)...I'm sorry

Back to the issue...lets dont do harm to our cell if we're not to regret it later...unless of course you want to find a reason to buy a new one

Just dont do it....even it was suggest by Nokia Updater

I just hope I can still use it as before

Thought of restoring the Factory Setting... but is it worth it
