The second annual’Great Vienna Debutante Ball in Rome’ will happen at Barncaccio Palace in the capital of the Belpaese.

twenty-four debutantes from across Italy will be accompanied by athletes from the Italian police’s athletic organisation and a jury will choose the best dancing couple who will be invited to visit the Opera Ball in Vienna next Feb.

The ball is being organised by the city of Vienna, the Austrian embassy in Rome, the city and province of Rome and the region of Lazio.

Social Democratic ( SP ) Vienna deputy Mayor Renate Brauner will head an Austrian delegation attending the ball.

Music for the event will be supplied by a Vienna ensemble conducted by Jacqueline Roscheck.
