Each woman has ability to conceive at least once in her lifetime. It it the best present for her husband indeed. Having a child(ren) would make a couple closer. Thats why each parents around the world make a plan to conceive. But unfortuneately, there is many obstacles to pregnant and if you know how to avoid these obstacles, you and your couples might have a baby as soon as possible.

First, we have to know what is the best lifestyle if you insist to conceive. Lets going deeper. !

Most everyone knows about drinking, smoking, and drugs being bad for you when you’re trying to get pregnant. In this section, we talk about a few things that affect getting pregnant of which you might not be aware.

Coffee and its Caffeine
Caffeine is controversial, but several studies have suggested that drinking several cups of coffee a day may increase the risk of developing difficulty becoming pregnant and early miscarriage. A cup of coffee contains twice the caffeine of one can of soda. Limit caffeine to less than 300 mg, which is three cups of coffee, or, better yet, cut it out completely! Teas also contain caffeine, but much less than coffee — 12 to 100 mg per cup.

Excercise
So your partner decided to work out stress by bicycling or playing rugby. This exercise should be a good thing, right? Wrong! Prolonged cycling can cause damage to the groin from constant pressure of the bike seat, and contact sports can lead to injury to the testicles and can damage sperm production.

Women who exercise heavily may find that their periods have stopped. This condition is called amenorrhea and is common among women who are very thin and exercise daily. Obviously, you can’t get pregnant if you’re not having periods; you’re not making any eggs. So what can you both do to reduce stress that won’t cause fertility problems? Knitting is nice. If knitting isn’t enough for you, exercise in moderation is fine — for both of you!

Alcohol affects fertility

Researchs say that if you drink more than three glass a day, you might find difficulites to conceive. Drink while pregnancy will increases the possibilities for miscarriage and can ignite fetal alcohol syndrome (FAS). FAS babies have disorder at many aspects including learning and behavioral problems and several cases have small heads, a flat midface, small eye slits, and a low nasal ridge.

Furthermore, excessive drink may affect menstrual cycles, What about an occasional drink on a special holiday or on New Year’s Eve? It’s best to follow your own doctor’s recommendation on alcohol and to remember that an occasional glass means just that — occasional, not every day! Unless, you have forgot about your desire to pregnant.

Drugs may cause infertility

You know that some drugs are dangerous when trying to become pregnant! Here are the problems that some common drugs can cause when you’re trying to get pregnant.

Cocaine
Cocaine causes constriction of the blood vessels, which can result in early miscarriage, preterm delivery, and problems with the placenta, the organ that nourishes the baby. In addition, cocaine can cause menstrual irregularities, possibly making it harder for you to become pregnant.

Marijuana
Marijuana lowers sperm count, decreases sperm’s motility or ability to move forward, lowers the amount of testosterone in males, and results in an increased number of abnormal eggs and sperm.

Avoiding anabolic steroids
Some studies show that as many as 6 to 7 percent of all males have used anabolic steroids before age 18 to build muscle mass. Anabolic steroids suppress the body’s ability to make testosterone, which is necessary for normal sperm production. This damage can be permanent, so stay away from the steroids.

Ive talk about smoking can cause male infertility by reducing sperm motility and affect its shapes. For now, we will go deeper why you have to give up to smoke in order to get conceive as soon as possible. Smoking is really bad for you. You all alreadey know it. Yet 30 percent (or more) of women in the United States still smoke. Do you need some good reasons to quit? Here are a few you may consider.

If youre a smoking woman, you have to consider these facts :

Smokers are 50 percent more likely to miscarry. Wow, this is unconvenient fact for woman, you must choose between smoking and pregnancy. If you still insist to smoke, you may not regret if something wrong goes with your upcoming baby.

Smokers are two to four times more likely to have an ectopic pregnancy (one that implants in the fallopian tube rather than in the uterus). Yeah, two to four is 50 %.

Smokers go through menopause earlier, decreasing the number of years pregnancy can occur.

Smokers’ eggs have more genetic abnormalities. This is cause your baby has probability to get abnormalities.

Smokers’ eggs are prone to polyspermy, where two or more sperm enter an egg. The embryos that result are chromosomally abnormal and will not grow.

If you’ve quit but your partner hasn’t, he may want to consider the following:

Men who smoke have a lower sperm count. Ive talked about it earlier at this blog

Men who smoke have a 20 percent decrease in sperm motility.

Smokers’ sperm have more abnormal shapes. Abnormally shaped sperm have a higher rate of chromosomal abnormalities.

So, what would you choose, still smoking or conceive as soon as possible. Iam about to tell you, if you insist to conceive, stop smoking and live healthier.

Smoking cigarrettes causes infertility. There is a fact, no doubt about it. It will cause infertility for both women and men. Based on research conduct by American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), Smoking cigar has definitly decrease your probability to conceive. Herewith the fact that you have to consider before you take your cigar :

“Smoking is very harmful to a ovaries”

“Smoking appears to elevate the loss of eggs and decrease reproductive function”

“[interferes] with the ability of cells in the ovary to make estrogen”

“causes a woman’s eggs (oocytes) to be more prone to genetic abnormalities”

“is associated with an increased risk of spontaneous miscarriage”

Besides Varicocele, Smoking has also been proved to cause infertility in men. Based on ASRM, Smoking could decrease sperm count, reduce sperm motility significantly and increase sperm abnormality for both shape and function.

Smoking that takes place when a woman is pregnant has been associated with premature birth, low birth weight, and problems with the placenta. A baby that has been exposed to tobacco smoke also has a higher incidence of dying from sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS).
For your own health and the health of your future baby, now is a good time to quit smoking. If it’s too diffi cult to stop cold turkey, at least cut down your use. Talk with your doctor about a safe program to help you quit smoking. Your doctor may be able to prescribe medication or refer you for counseling or treatment.
This is a good time for your partner to stop smoking, too. Secondhand smoke is not good for you or your baby. If you and your partner both smoke, get together and make an agreement to quit. You can make it a team approach as you work together to stop smoking and improve your overall health.

What is Varicocele

A varicocele is a sum of dilated veins at the scrotum that similar to varicose veins.

Why Varicocele affect male infertility?

Varicocele may lessens a man’s fertility by creating a higher temperature in mans testicles. Sperm will not survive at higher temperature. FYI, A varicocele happens in about 15 percent of all men and booked as
much as 40 percent of male infertility causes.

How to Overcome Varicoceles?

Varicoceles is treated by specific surgeon. The most common type of procedure is microsurgery, which is done on an outpatient basis under spinal anesthesia. The enlarged veins are repaired surgically, and regular blood flow is restored to improve sperm quality. Some physicians also prescribe fertility medications, such as Clomid, after the surgery to stimulate sperm production. The success rate of the surgery varies, but approximately 80 percent of men have an increased sperm count following this surgery.

Then you should’nt worry about varicocele for now
