I love everything about wedding

2013-07-14T22:56:00.001+08:00

I love everything about wedding and I still buy wedding magazines. For me, wedding means wearing beautiful dresses, surrounded with beautiful people and being showered with beautiful things. If I was looking for something beautiful for inspiration, I would look for wedding magazine or google for wedding stuff on the net. I bought this affordable wedding magazine a few months back and still browsing it today. These are some of the vintage stuff I love from the magazine.

Princess Party... Qaisara's 5th Birthday

2013-07-09T08:35:00.001+08:00

Yesterday, hubby and I took a day off to celebrate my 5-year old daughter's birthday at school. It was a short, sweet and simple party but definitely a fun one for my daughter as she gets to celebrate her birthday with her best buddies at school. We had a couple of games, did the must have cake cutting ceremony, enjoyed having cakes and food together and increased our sugar level with some sweet candies.

Garden vintage party

2013-07-05T18:28:00.001+08:00

I just adore anything vintage and I have started collecting some of the things for a party (although I haven't decided the occasion for the party).

I found this beautiful garden vintage inspired party on Pinterest and falling in love with the concept. Btw, I have already owned the bottle wooden crate like the one in the picture.

What I read this morning

2013-07-05T13:03:00.001+08:00

It was so frustrating when you come back to office after a long maternity leave and you receive comments on how you look. I simply answered that I need at least 9 months to lose those fat that I've gained for the past 9 months. That's why this article really caught my attention when I was browsing through my blog reading list this morning.

Vintage wooden crate

2013-06-29T15:34:00.001+08:00

I have been searching for the wooden crate and finally found it @ mudah.com.my. I remember during my childhood time, wooden crates filled with empty bottles were only left outside a coffee shop under the sun. But today, it is a rare item that people would love to use it as a table deco or a prop for photography.

I would love to have a vintage party and will definitely use this crate for the table deco.

Princess party... the preparation

2013-06-23T14:36:00.000+08:00

I am currently busy preparing my daughter's birthday party. Due to work commitment, I am bringing forward the big day. I have just ordered the birthday cake from Mycuppycupcake and the princess cookies from Spatula by Wirda. Fuh! luckily they accepted this last minute order.

I am very excited as this is going to be the first birthday party celebration at my children's school. The school only allows us to hold the event for an hour. Within that short period of time, I hope we'll be having a great party.

My daughter's upcoming birthday party

2013-06-16T15:24:00.000+08:00

It's my daughter's upcoming birthday in June so I have already busy preparing and collecting things for the party. Recently, my daughter Qaisara requested to celebrate her birthday with friends at school. I have no objection to her request. In fact I think it is such a good idea as the party will be surrounded by her best friends and favourite teachers.

It will be a shabby-chic princess party for Qaisara.

I'm glad that I have found this beautiful blog when I was searching for some inspirational photos for my daughter's upcoming birthday party this June. I can't help but sharing the candy buffet setting I found on the blog. I find it simple and very sweet which I think would be suitable for my daughter's princess themed party. My daughter's first Sports Day

2013-05-20T00:06:00.001+08:00

It was an exciting day for my daughter Qaisara. It was her first sports day at school and everyone in the family including her one year old sister came to give some moral support.

At the end of the event, every child received a gold medal as the school thinks that everyone who participated in the sports event deserves to be a winner. Qaisara was so proud of her medal and it was so amusing that she refused to take it off even during our lunch at the restaurant.

Carnival party... Mya is turning 4

2013-05-13T15:31:00.001+08:00

We did a carnival birthday party for my cousin's daughter over the weekend. I love carnival party and i was so excited when my cousin agreed to throw a carnival theme party for her daughter's 4th birthday. The preparation was easy as I've already collected some of the carnival things like the backdrop, paper bunting, table cloth and the musical box. It was a fun party for the kids as they were busy being attended to by the bubbly clown. It was nice to have the clown around - each kid gets their sculptured balloon and face painting. Extra toys were given out for those who answered riddles correctly.
Hopefully one day I could also do a carnival birthday party for my kids.

Happy 4th birthday Mya! Thank you for having us at the party.

Just another weekend at home

2013-05-12T01:03:00.001+08:00

Here comes another weekend. It's time for me to clean the house, do some laundry, go groceries shopping and play with the kids. Today we had lunch @ Chakri Palace KLCC and did some toys shopping @ Mothercare. Right after my hubby paid for the toys, my daughter Qaisara repeatedly request us to go home as she can't wait to play with her newly bought play-dough. My attempt to do some window-shopping failed as she violently pulled my hand and prevent me from entering into the shop. As usual, I gave in and we went straight home.

I took these photos while they were busy playing.

Carnival... the Inspiration Board

2013-05-10T00:16:00.001+08:00

I have been busy this past few weeks. My niece is turning four this weekend and I'm busy preparing things for her birthday party. As usual, I have been collecting pictures for inspirations from various websites. Here's some of the pictures. I will upload pictures of the real party this coming weekend.

Lunch @ Wondermilk

2013-05-02T18:45:00.001+08:00

Last weekend I had lunch at my favourite cafe, Wondermilk Publika. The cafe is famously known for its lovely and yummy cupcakes. I had on a few occassions ordered the cupcakes online. Unfortunately, they no longer have the online services. I love the concept of the cafe that has this vintage ambience with nice ceiling and wall deco.

What brought me to Publika is my searching for some vintage stuff for the upcoming birthday project that my sister cousin assigned me. But I couldn't find what I was looking for (sigh). Will keep on searching for them this coming weekend.

Only a few photos I manage to capture before my phone run out of battery.

By Rizalman... Gorgeous new collection.

2013-04-25T17:26:00.001+08:00

Rizalman, has just launched his new collection @ Zalora. I have browse through the collection and the dresses are gorgeous. Now everyone can own Rizalman's pieces. The launching is made at a perfect timing as people have started looking for baju raya.

I simply love his couture from simple baju kurung moden to wedding dresses (how I wish my daughters one day could wear Rizalman's wedding dresses). For me, Rizalman is one talented designer who knows how to make us ladies look beautiful even in a simple baju kurung moden.

These are some of the dresses i love and considering having them.

Why I love Aishwarya Rai

2013-04-22T20:41:00.000+08:00

I am not someone who would get starving just to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight. I would either hit the gym or go swimming or do some house cleaning in order to shed the baby fat. Aishwarya Rai is one of my favourite Indian actress. Although she has been the subject of much criticism over her post-pregnancy weight, I still admire her beauty and love her because she is a mother just like us.

Pinterest... I'm addicted to it

2013-04-20T07:00:00.000+08:00

I'm sure you have heard about Pinterest or even have a Pinterest account. Ever since I was introduced to this photo-sharing website, I have collected so many inspiring photos. I can spend hours browsing, collecting, organising and sharing all the beautiful photos on Pinterest.
Oh! I just realised that I have so many addictions.
Happy pinning friends!

VW

Here's my 3 months old baby bearing my favourite number. Although I seldom drive on my own to office, the fact that having my own car makes me feel good and more independent (hubby spoils me by driving me to office). Initially I wanted to buy the Beetle but hubby managed to convince me taking this car. When I bought the car, I told hubby one day he should get me the Beetle but he responded by saying that we are not going to have too many cars. Immediately I replied "one day it will become a reality".

Coffee...

2013-04-18T19:42:00.001+08:00

While sitting in the sauna reading a fitness magazine (and hope that I can burn some fat), I came across this article. Just this morning I told you that I am addicted to coffee, now this article gives me more reasons why I should just take more coffee daily.

Good morning

Having breakfast with my favourite drink at my favourite cafe with my darling hubby. I am so addicted to caffeine that i just can't live without having it at least a cup a day.

Qalisha is one... owl theme party

2013-04-11T11:53:00.001+08:00

The first birthday is a special milestone for my little princess, Qalisha. It seems that it was yesterday that she was born. We celebrated her first birthday at home with family and close friends. I have spent many hours preparing the owl theme party for my baby. For inspirations, I have been saving pictures from the web and pinning pictures from Pinterest. I have also been collecting things for the party many many months ago from the local shops and from a shop as far as France.
I'm really glad that it turn out to be the perfect party for my little baby.

Chevron bunting bought from Betty and Barclays @ etsy.com. The owner is based in France and it took 10 days for the product to reach me. If you are looking for beautiful and good quality bunting, you must visit her page.

This owl cake is ordered from the cake goddess, Mycuppycupcake. I only posted her the picture as a sample and voila! the cake was perfectly done.

The table cloth is from Ikea.

Wooden backdrop from SSF. I borrow this from my sister.

I have been capturing my baby's milestone since she was born.

Number 1 poster from Typo.

These bubbles are from Mothercare which I bought at a discounted price.

Owl pillows are from Miss T.

I ordered these cake in jars from Kak Zai, Sri Petaling.

DIY label. Copy of the owl pictures were bought online @ etsy.com

Bought the birthday dress @ Mothercare when my baby was only 3 months old.

Bought these mini lanterns from the Typo.

My one year old baby munchkin, Nur Qalisha.

Kidzania KL... the kids favourite playground

2012-12-08T23:46:00.001+08:00

We visited Kidzania twice this year and my kids can't seem to get enough of the place. It's their favourite playground as they get to role play their dream jobs. I bought canvas photos for each of my children from the printing shop there (each canvas cost me RM140) and here are some of the photos I bought during our visits.

Ballerina Theme Party... for my 4-year-old daughter

2012-07-01T19:47:00.003+08:00

It's my daughter's 4th birthday party which was held yesterday at my place. I always adore ballerina theme birthday party and luckily my daughter loves the idea. I know she has so many party theme in her mind like princess party, barbie and hello kitty. But she was very excited when I told her that she will be wearing pink and would have a ballerina dance during the party. As usual, I created the candy buffet table myself. Bought that ballerina theater, paper plate and ballerina puzzle when we visited Singapore last December.
I'm glad that my daughter enjoys the party - she did her ballerina dance, joyously posed for the camera and excitedly unwrapped the birthday gifts.
Happy 4th birthday Qaisara!

The photographs... by The Wedding Inc

2012-05-18T14:32:00.005+08:00

Finally the CD full of my family photos during my daughter's aqiqah has arrived. Thanks again to my sister who has introduced me to Mr. Fairuz (the photographer) from The Wedding Inc. He has done a superb job and I love every single shot he has taken. It is quite impossible for me to upload every single photo here but here's some of my favourites.

My daughter's Aqiqah & Cukur Jambul

2012-05-11T22:31:00.005+08:00

It has been a hectic week for me as I have started working after a 3-month maternity leave.

I am so glad that I manage to exclusively breastfeed my baby for the past 3 months and this I hope will continue until at least she’s 6 months old.

My daughter’s Majlis Aqiqah and Cukur Jambul was held a day before I started working and here are some of the pictures that I would like to share with you.

I would like to give some credits to the following people who had done some wonderful jobs for my baby’s big day:

2012-05-03T21:12:00.001+08:00

My daughter's upcoming aqiqah is just around the corner and i'm so excited to share with you the guestbook table for the event. With the help of my sister (she runs a photo guestbook services company, Rosebay Creations), I manage to complete the deco.
