The first images from Lanvin Petite's Pre-fall collection are available. I have to say that I want this coat in my size. And my bank account is thankful everyday day that I don't have a daughter, because I would spend a small fortune at Lanvin Petite. Lanvin Petite is my absolute favorite mini-me fashion line. There are photos and a video below that shows more of the collection.

Jessica Alba has started a diaper line. While other celebrities are busy pushing plastic handbags and clothing made in the Third World, Jessica has developed a line of affordable natural baby care products. And they are delivered to your home, so no more trips to the store to buy diapers.

Alba's Honest Company biodegradable diapers are plant based and contain no added chemicals. They come in several perky prints. The diapers have to be purchased as part of "diaper bundle" that contains the diapers and wipes which are delivered to your home. The diaper bundle costs $79.95 a month, and for example the newborn bundle will ship with 320 diapers a month. The number of diapers decrease as your child ages and diaper use decreases. The bad thing is that you can't buy just the diapers or just the wipes. And you can't order a bundle and a half if you need extra diapers, you would have to sign up for a second bundle.

The Family Essential bundle contains personal care and cleaning products, also chemical free. The monthly cost is $35.95 and there is a little more flexibility in the products that you are shipped.

If you are interested you can try the Discovery Kit, which includes samples of the products. But be aware that after 7 days the company will auto ship a month's supply and bill your credit card. But the cost of the diapers and wipes is comparable to cost of name brand diapers. And part of the profits go to Baby2Baby which provides childcare products to those in need.

I wonder why no one has produced a baby bottle designed exclusively for breastfed babies before. Breast pump manufacturer, Medela has finally done just that. The Medela Calma Breastmilk Feeding Bottle is designed from the ground up to be used by breastfed babies.

The Calma features a revolutionary nipple that only allows milk to flow when the baby's sucking has created a vacuum. The flow is controlled by the baby's sucking pattern, just like the breast. So you will only need a single nipple. No need to buy different nipples with different flow rates. The nipple design also means that milk won't leak from the nipple.

The bottle is very expensive. But most of the cost is in the nipple which costs around $21.50, but you can use the nipple on any of the bottles that are compatible with the Medela breast pumps. So that will cut down on your cost.

Even though it is supposed to rain for the first time in a long time my thoughts have turned to spring flowers. In my back garden, I have roses and irises. And growing among the grass I have violets and English bluebells. But it just needs something more. I have some leftover chicken wire that makes me think that sweet peas would be perfect. So after a little Google magic I found a website that sells seeds that aren't your run of the mill sweet peas. I have placed my order will Fragrant Garden Nursery and will keep you updated.

LVMH has purchased and is reviving trunk maker, Moynat. I wonder if this is LVMH's way of dealing with the fact that Hermes doesn't want to sell to them.The bags look yummy, but I have a ton of questions. Because Louis Vuitton quality has been going downhill quickly. Are the bags handmade? Will Moynat handle repairs? How outrageous are the prices?

I thought that these photos of the Kennedy Era White House nurseries would be the perfect counterpoint to all the talk of $20,000+ cribs, diamond encrusted high chairs, and gold rocking horses that have accompanied the birth of Beyonce and Jay-Z's baby, Blue Ivy. I think that a lot of it is just the imagination of tabloid writers. At least I hope it is.

This is My Devil Wears Prada bag by Prada. I carry it most days, even with gym shorts and a tee. I am just a structured bag kind of girl.

But I'm super excited that Prada has re-introduced the purse in other colors. And what I love most is that the Prada logo is much more discrete.

Young Versace Baby Shoes

I don't care how much they cost or that they are by Young Versace, these baby shoes just look cheap. The Swarovski crystals look like they were applied at home. Somebody should tell the good folks over at Versace that some babies are walking when they are 1-year old so crystals on the soles are stupid. Maybe someone will gift them to Beyonce's new daughter.

But if you are blinded by the Versace label they can be yours for £141 (about $217). Children Salon has all the mini me labels, but I recommend the classic British children's clothes.

Christmas Flowers

I spent New Year's Day taking down the Christmas Tree. I don't know why, but I just have to have all evidence of the tree gone by January 2nd. But I can't wait until next Christmas when I will get the chance to use these lovely flowers (I bought them on sale.) on the tree.They are so sophisticated.

But Snoopy and Pikachu will be gracing the tree right alongside them.
