A couple of weeks ago Queen Beatrix abdicated from the Dutch throne in favor of her eldest son. The new King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima have three young daughters: Amalia, the Princess of Orange, Alexia, and Ariane. What did the little trio of princess wear when their grandmother abdicated in favor of their father...Pili Carrera. The matching dresses they were simple yellow and white floral dresses with boat necks and a bow at the waist. They are now sold out unfortunately.

There are two smells I am obsessed with: my back garden at night (the sickly sweet combo of gardenia, roses, honeysuckle and jasmine) and the smell of the dirt after rain. There is a name for that smell, as Whovians will know, petrichor. It's for the "girl who is tired of waiting". I would love a perfume that captured that smell. So after a little searching I found a fragrance that captures that smell, Mitti Attar. Mitti Attar is made by distilling Fuller's Earth and combining it with Sandalwood essential oil. I think this will be my new Winter scent.

Here is a repost of short interview I did with Farrah Abraham,from MTV's Teen Moms back when the show first started. She has sent has since gone on to fake home porn fame.

Sometimes it is easy to forget that MTV covers serious subjects, especially since they are also currently promoting Shore House. But the show Teen Moms is exactly that, a hip look at a serious subject. After years of declines the teen birth rate is once again on the rise. (I wonder if it has to do with the downturn in the economy. Does it have anything to do with less funding for teen pregnancy prevention programs.) I was able to interview Farrah. She came across as a smart, well spoken girl. Which shows you that teen pregnancy can happen to anyone. She was a nice cheerleader from a good Christian family with two parents. If it can happen to her, it can happen to anyone.

How are you managing to balancing parenthood and being a teenager?
For me, I think I am balancing being a teenager and a mother great. And I am glad that you asked that because that's a big topic.

How is your relationship with your mother? Do you find that she is more overprotective since Sophia's birth?
I think my mom is more wanting to help since Sophia's birth. She's not as overprotective in the way of like, everyday life. But with the whole dating thing, yeah, she got a little out of control.

Farrah's mom deserves a show all her own. But saying that she got a little out of control is one of life's great understatements. She is involved in a way that you don't see the other mother's involved. Maybe it's because Farrah is still at home. But you know that she will do her best to make sure that her granddaughter's needs are put first.

How is the dating going?
I would say it's on a downhill.
Yes, I think every woman's been there. And being a mom doesn't make it easier.

The boy, Cole that she is dating on the show a hottie. He has movie star good looks. Have a look at the clip below.

What were you thinking when your mother told Cole, "We would love you to go to heaven with all of us"?
What was I thinking? Oh my, I was thinking...I don't know. I don't even know what I was thinking at that moment. What would your mom say? Like, you know, if you were there and your mom said that to a guy you were dating or possibly or getting married to.

This may be one of the most entertaining moments I saw on television all year. It's kind of like closing the barn door after all the horses are out, but funny. Of course, if it were happening to me I would die of shame.

I think I would die of embarrassment.
That's what I was.
The look on your face, it was just a look of shock.
It was, because I was in very big shock. And I had to talk to Cole about God and everything. Oh my. I still wonder what is going through his mind, you know.

Has Sophia's father tried to be involved?
Um, that's not something I am going to comment on.

I wouldn't have asked this question if I had read the rumors first. It seems that Sophia's rumored father died in an car accident before her birth.

What was your experience on the show?
I would like to just say that I had a great experience. And I hope everyone likes the show because I know everyone is excited. And I hope they learn from me.

So you haven't had people acting negatively to you since the show?
You know everyone has there own opinion. But for the most part, you know, I've been hearing positive things, and you know...educating things. So it's been great.

I found your episode of the show to be more realistic than some of the others.
Well, thank you. I hope... It is real. So I hope people really take that into account and learn from it so that they don't make wrong choices for their own lives.

What would you do if Sophia came to you at sixteen and told you she was pregnant?
I would say, "Did you not learn anything from me?"

And I didn't just show it to teenagers. I showed it to my mother and grandmother. I showed it to my sons, 16 and 10. Anything to make sure they don't get some girl pregnant. It's not a preachy program at all, but it isn't making teen motherhood look glamorous either. Watch Tuesday at 9PM on MTV.

It's always interesting to look at design students ideas about the baby stroller. They always seem to forget that strollers need to fold to fit into a car trunk or for storage. Or they forget that babies still need strollers when they are toddlers, so their designs usually lack a practical seat. Design students always seem to design strollers that look cool, but never seem to take the needs of parents and babies into account. My advice is design a practical stroller that looks amazing. Then maybe after college a baby goods company may hire you.

Danish stroller designers Seed have updated their retro fantastic stroller, the Pli. The Seed Pli Mg still has that eighties feel, but has been made even lighter with a magnesium frame.The Pli is sleek and minimalist in a way that is very Danish. The pushchair converts from a carrycot to a seat and back again. There is a collapsible frame, the wheels fold, and the handle adjusts for parent comfort. All in all it is a simple to use practical stroller that has a very original look.

Sadly, they no longer seem to be selling the skis that attach to the wheels for pushing in winter snow.

I adore the direction that Gap is going in for Fall. And it all has to do with their new creative director, Rebekka Bay. See I am obsessed with European retailer COS, but unfortunately they don't ship to the United States. Gap has poached Ms. Bay from COS, and she is bringing a similar feel to Gap. I just hope Gap doesn't forget that it's a mall store and start charging high fashion prices (cough, cough...like J.Crew has).
