De Gea Signed Till 2018

Speculation about De Gea now is settled. The young Goalie signed five years contract with The Red Devil for five years. His latest achievement in U-21 Euro Cup make me having goose bumps. His reputation is already known and I hope he will be the next Man United's Goalkeeper Legend.

According to Alex Stepney, De Gea will soon adapt with England condition especially with the language. Personally former United Legend said he admired De Gea statistic last season with Atletico, 24 cleansheets in 45 games.

The arrival of De Gea makes United now have 4 goalkeepers. Ben Amos and Thomas Kuszaczk are two goalkeepers that seem does not meet Sir Alex expectation. Sir Alex seems like to nostalgize with schmeichel by taking Anders Lindeengard to the squad. And know the latest De Gea. the young promising Spain goalie.

It kind of waste though because United should have kept Ben Foster....

Ole Gunnar Solsjaer, United Hero of 99 competition had quit his football career as player. I really miss the babby face assassin.
Solsjaer is now a legend in United. It is really a miss that I cannot see him to play again. Unfortunate for him to have injuries that seem never let him go. Like an possesive girlfriend.
There are two remarkable moment of Solksjaer. First his 4 goals as sub in Nott. Forest season 1999/2000 (if I'm not mistaken).The second is the most outstanding one, 1999 goal to Bayern Munich in Nou Camp, Barcelona.
Will United have other super sub like him? I hope so.

Arsenal and Wenger Out in Old Trafford: Man Utd 2 Arsenal 1

Last night match was tremendous. Manchester United proved themselves to be invisible at home to Arsenal. However the match is so dab. Man United trying to wake up after loosing CR7. Nani and Valencia do not give enough contribution to the match. Even tough in the last minute Nani managed to show some skill that make me feel he has the right to replace CR 7.

Despite their lost I have to give a thumbs up for Arsenal attacking scheme. It was beautiful and with coordination within lines. Their short passing, and fast attacking was truly make United defense got a little worried. There are a lot of chances from Arsenal that make my heart pound very fast such as of van Persie's strike in the near goal getting pass from diaby (if I'm not mistaken), another van Persie's free kick that hit the bar (boy that was reaally close). I'm not a good story teller so here the match report from English Premier League official site:

Arsenal were denied a last-gasp equaliser in a thrilling encounter with Manchester United which they eventually lost 2-1.
Andrey Arshavin capped a brilliant first half by putting Arsenal ahead and if Ben Foster had not denied Robin van Persie with a brilliant feet-first save, Arsenal would probably have won.
Instead, Wayne Rooney won a penalty when he went down under Manuel Almunia's challenge, and scored it himself before Abou Diaby turned Ryan Giggs' free-kick into his own net to give the hosts their victory.
Van Persie thought he had equalised deep into stoppage time but his effort was ruled out for an offside against William Gallas, and Arsene Wenger's protest against the disallowed goal led to him being sent from the dug-out.

The Gunners were in front and on top through Arshavin's goal when Rooney went down under Manuel Almunia's challenge just before the hour mark.

Rooney sent Almunia the wrong way, ensuring the only blot on Diaby's fine performance turned out to be the own goal that sealed a win that wrecked Arsenal's 100 per cent start to the season.

It had all looked so unlikely at half-time, as Arshavin threatened to run riot.

The Russian might have scored earlier than he did too when Ben Foster flapped at a Van Persie corner.

The former Zenit St Petersburg man made a conscious effort to place a shot towards the top corner. Foster was not the only anxious face to watch it drift narrowly wide.

Then Darren Fletcher slid into Arshavin and despite winning the ball, Arsenal claimed for a penalty.

Referee Mike Dean was standing near enough to make the perfect decision and waved the shout away.

Arsenal maintained their offensive. The impressive Denilson slid a pass through to Arshavin, who had found space between United's defence and midfield which Ferguson's team selection was supposed to prevent.

Quickly Arshavin turned and let fly with a rasper of a drive.

Nemanja Vidic came close to levelling straight away for the hosts but, as they trooped into the tunnel for a dismal half-time debrief, the best they could actually reflect on was a Rooney free-kick that curled narrowly wide.

Strangely given how one-sided the opening half had been, Ferguson did not try to change things during the interval. And his team were almost out of the match before he had retaken his seat.

Arshavin sped past John O'Shea as though the Irishman was not there to reach the by-line and picked out Van Persie with a teasing low cross that looked certain to be number two until Foster stuck out a leg to make a magnificent save.

At that point, there seemed to be only one winner. How wrong those doubters were as Ferguson's team surged back, Ryan Giggs the architect behind the comeback just as Arshavin had sparked Arsenal earlier.

The difference was Dean said yes when United claimed their penalty as Rooney went crashing to the ground after Giggs had supplied the pass that sent him through one-on-on with Almunia.

Questions were asked when Rooney did not take the one Michael Carrick missed at Burnley. There was no need this time as Rooney went straight for the ball, put it on the spot and promptly sent Almunia the wrong way.

Any pretence at defence was now swept away amid the fervour of an occasion that threatened to become a classic.

When Diaby was hacked at by Rooney and Wes Brown, both men were booked and Van Persie was offered the chance to curl a free-kick at Foster's goal which thudded against the crossbar.

A minute later, from a very similar position, United got their second.

In truth, Giggs' free-kick would not have threatened Almunia if Diaby had not stuck his head on it and deflected it straight into the corner of his own goal.

Rooney scored again in this match but only from penalty spot, well that fine with me. My only regret was the goal do not created in a play. Go for top scorer Rooney!!!

But it’s Atletico Madrid goalkeeper De Gea who the spotlight will fall on, as United fans around the world cast an eye over the man Sir Alex Ferguson has identified as “one we should go for”. Speaking after Gary Neville’s testimonial match last month, the Reds boss confirmed rumoured interest in the goalkeeper was real.

“He’s a young goalkeeper – very quick, good composure, presence and an outstanding replacement for van der Sar.”

But De Gea isn’t getting ahead of himself. Although aware of United’s interest, he insists his only focus for the next few weeks is Spain’s bid to become European champions at Under-21 level.

“Until the Euros are finished and things clam down a bit, I don’t know anything,” he told media. “I don’t know what goalkeepers Alex Ferguson likes. I’m just a normal goalkeeper, a discrete one. Being Atletico’s goalkeeper is completely different to being United’s and I’m not quite sure what he’s looking for.”

Superb Second Half :Superb Comeback

I worried United would lose another point in this match but in the end I sang Glory..glory...Man United...
I watch the English Premier on the local tv station, but I do not have watch Man U and Wigan in live. The tv showed arsenal-porsmouth game, and it quit entertaining. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger have every right to state we will be waiting from Manchester United. Arsenal play beautifully, I remembered that play was back in 90's. Dennis Bergkamp, Marc Overmars, Anelka, Henry those make the game entertaining but not forgetting to score.
This is what I think Man United lack of this season. I watched the game after the arsenal match. And to be frank the new United squad do not make me feel optimist at all. Rather I began to worry when United is facing Arsenal, Liverpool, or Totenham in the next match.
However the second half is a good relief. Watching Rooney, Berbatov, Owen, and Nani scored make my feeling a little comfortable. Especially Rooney's performance, he scored two goals that I think he was showing Sir Alex his real ability. Moreover he has scored 100 goals for the club now.
Let us hope United academy will make another talented players like Gigs, Beckham, Neville, Scholes. Hey.. I just realized that this club do not have striker flourishing from the academy?

The results was shocking United first defeat in this season is not coming from away match with Arsenal, Liverpool, or Chealsea but Burnley. What happen to this squad?

There were a lot of miss decision made by the players. They sometimes tried to touch the ball instead shooting it. However, the manager believes that in the next match the players will perform better than this match.

Ben Foster On Guard

Sir Alex spoke about Foster's form in his post-match interview on MUTV:

"Ben Foster made a fantastic save in the second half. He looked very comfortable and relaxed in his role.

"I think he’s learnt from last week at Wembley, that was an unusually nervy performance from him. But we know he has ability, he proved that again today."

Ben Foster had contributed well in the first match. With van der Sar injury blow, Sir Alex give him the opportunity to be the first choice goalkeeper in United starting line up. However despite of home win with the newly promoted Birmingham City, the promising young goalkeeper asked more to himself.

It seem that Foster on his guard for the next match. United is still having one other goal keeper Thomas Kuszack that will take his chance if Foster make disastrous mistake in the upcoming matches. Foster make a burden to himself, it is not his fault though. As defending champion with an ambitious manager, the fans expecting a new milestone this season.

We hope with his willingness to improve in the next matches, he will be able to become a new United Legend. And if he achieved the position as Legend it will make him better than other two goalie Legend of the club. Both Schmeichel and van der Sar were not from nurtured from United youngest squad.
For Burnley match he said that United have to be professional, do what we did against Birmingham and hopefully keep another clean sheet.

I do not know about you guys but I still miss the Great Dane. Tall, though, and always screaming in the back. Some of the news said United had the strongest goalkeeper after the Great Dane in Van der Sar, but I still want Schmeichel in the United's Goal. Enough whining now we have big problem guys. Van der Sar had said that this season will be his last in United (or even in football ?)and with the English Premier League will start soon Edwin has problem of his own. His finger is broken. Well that will make ways of two young goalies in United, Ben Foster and Thomas Kuzchak. How well is their condition in the forthcoming season?? Mick will tell us all,

He was a terrific goalkeeper when he joined us but I think he’s made further progress since he arrived. Each year he seems to go up a level, he’s seen and done it all so he’s a major asset to us."

He also contributes at the other end from set-pieces because he attacks the ball so well.

How is United Players doing in the coming of English Premier Season? I suppose the question is not only popping in my head but also from other fans of United around the world. As we already know United this season is not like the United in the past. We will never see the magic of Cristiano Ronaldo dribbling the ball and creating chances. But we know that United is having the replacement. Maybe United formation will change but let us make that to Sir Alex. He is an ambitious old man and we know he had planned everything in his genius brain. So here is the report from United coach Mick Phelan.

Manchester United will meet newly promoted Birmingham City in the starting campaign of English Premier league. Patrice Evra is eager to start playing football again.
"I can’t wait [to run out on Sunday]," the Frenchman told United Review. "Footballers don’t have the longest holidays but when you’re not playing it seems like forever." Commenting about their first opponent Evra said "They’ll have a lot of ambition and will want to show people they deserve to be in the Premier League." He added "It’s often hard playing teams who have just been promoted or teams in the bottom half of the table because they have nothing to lose. If Birmingham get beaten it’s not a big deal – most people would expect them to lose against the champions.

Well I would expect there will be a statement anything but United again from English Clubs this day. And as a champion, we will see a new United. Where is the Baby Face Now? That is my question over 2 years ago. I really miss his goal scoring moments.
Ole Gunnar Solsjaer, United Hero of 99 competition had quit his football career as player. I really miss the babby face assassin.
Solsjaer is now a legend in United. It is really a miss that I cannot see him to play again. Unfortunate for him to have injuries that seem never let him go. Like an possesive girlfriend.
There are two remarkable moment of Solksjaer. First his 4 goals as sub in Nott. Forest season 1999/2000 (if I'm not mistaken).The second is the most outstanding one, 1999 goal to Bayern Munich in Nou Camp, Barcelona.
Will United have other super sub like him? I hope so.
Now this baby face is the reserve coach of Manchester United. Hopefully he can gain United Manager position if Fergie willingly or not retired from the position.

Goalie Crisis

Van Der Sar out for eight week so that Foster or Kuzack can step out and prove themselves worth to the team. I like when youngster are beginning to step their glorious days. Especially Foster that Fergussons had praised that he will be the successor of Van Der Sar. The youngster had stated he doesn't like to be the second choice. Well, it will need a prove doesn't it? And as Van Der Sar will out several months recovering at least the moments had arrived.

Van Der Sar had proved his ability to Manchester United for giving this club the second Champions League title and English League title. News from Man United official sites says that Edwin had had broken finger in Audi Cup tournament and he will out until September.

Sir Alex had said that Edwin injuries is a blow for the team campaign but he also have high hope to his young goalie to replace his first. I feel really nausea about this. I remember that United defense will be having lot of problem when the first goalie is absent. I hope Edwin will recover fast and the prediction of bad start of English league will be a dream that never come true.
