ManUtd Supporter - Antonio Valencia played well against Bolton in United's league the previous match. Patrice Evra commented on Bolton's left back, "he had muscle problem". Valencia shows hunger to create chances and three times took on his markers. He made 42 completed pass and twelve crosses. United's first goal created after he give magnificent cross to Welbeck that make Bolton player need to foul him and create penalty. Rooney have made excellent shot that even though he misses the first shot he could make follow up.

United wins 3-0 in this game the goal scored by Scholes, Welbeck, and Carrick.

De Gea Signed Till 2018

Speculation about De Gea now is settled. The young Goalie signed five years contract with The Red Devil for five years. His latest achievement in U-21 Euro Cup make me having goose bumps. His reputation is already known and I hope he will be the next Man United's Goalkeeper Legend.

According to Alex Stepney, De Gea will soon adapt with England condition especially with the language. Personally former United Legend said he admired De Gea statistic last season with Atletico, 24 cleansheets in 45 games.

The arrival of De Gea makes United now have 4 goalkeepers. Ben Amos and Thomas Kuszaczk are two goalkeepers that seem does not meet Sir Alex expectation. Sir Alex seems like to nostalgize with schmeichel by taking Anders Lindeengard to the squad. And know the latest De Gea. the young promising Spain goalie.

It kind of waste though because United should have kept Ben Foster....

About David De Gea

In the last match of Manchester Derby where united beated city 1-0 scholes made his first appearance after announcing to retire last season. Enter the fray as subtituted for Luis Nani United's midfield with Scholes as the general surround City's area. Statistic recorded that the midfield made NINETY per cent pass that helps United won the match Cup. Let alone the criticism from Monsieur Mancini.

Lost to Blackburn in the Theater of Dreams: Embarassing

Have you watch the latest game of Man United?? That is my question over 2 years ago
Ole Gunnar Solsjaer, United Hero of 99 competition had quit his football career as player. I really miss the babby face assassin.
Solsjaer is now a legend in United. It is really a miss that I cannot see him to play again. Unfortunate for him to have injuries that seem never let him go. Like an possesive girlfriend.
There are two remarkable moment of Solksjaer. First his 4 goals as sub in Nott. Forest season 1999/2000 (if I'm not mistaken). The second is the most outstanding one, 1999 goal to Bayern Munich in Nou Camp, Barcelona.
Will United have other super sub like him? I hope so.
Now this baby face is the reserve coach of Manchester United. Hopefully he can gain United Manager position if Fergie willingly or not retired from the position.
Last night match was tremendous. Manchester United proved themselves to be invisible at home to Arsenal. However the match is so dab. Man United trying to wake up after loosing CR7. Nani and Valencia do not give enough contribution to the match. Even tough in the last minute Nani managed to show some skill that make me feel he has the right to replace CR 7.

Despite their lost I have to give a thumbs up for Arsenal attacking scheme. It was beautiful and with coordination within lines. Their short passing, and fast attacking was truly make United defense got a little worried. There are a lot of chances from Arsenal that make my heart pound very fast such as of van Persie's strike in the near goal getting pass from diaby (if I'm not mistaken), another van Persie's free kick that hit the bar (boy that was reaally close). I'm not a good story teller so here the match report from English Premier League official site:

Arsenal were denied a last-gasp equaliser in a thrilling encounter with Manchester United which they eventually lost 2-1.

Andrey Arshavin capped a brilliant first half by putting Arsenal ahead and if Ben Foster had not denied Robin van Persie with a brilliant feet-first save, Arsenal would probably have won.
Instead, Wayne Rooney won a penalty when he went down under Manuel Almunia's challenge, and scored it himself before Abou Diaby turned Ryan Giggs' free-kick into his own net to give the hosts their victory.
Van Persie thought he had equalised deep into stoppage time but his effort was ruled out for an offside against William Gallas, and Arsene Wenger's protest against the disallowed goal led to him being sent from the dug-out.

The Gunners were in front and on top through Arshavin's goal when Rooney went down under Manuel Almunia's challenge just before the hour mark.

Rooney sent Almunia the wrong way, ensuring the only blot on Diaby's fine performance turned out to be the own goal that sealed a win that wrecked Arsenal's 100 per cent start to the season.

perfect decision

It had all looked so unlikely at half-time, as Arshavin threatened to run riot.

The Russian might have scored earlier than he did too when Ben Foster flapped at a Van Persie corner.

The former Zenit St Petersburg man made a conscious effort to place a shot towards the top corner. Foster was not the only anxious face to watch it drift narrowly wide.

Then Darren Fletcher slid into Arshavin and despite winning the ball, Arsenal claimed for a penalty.

Referee Mike Dean was standing near enough to make the perfect decision and waved the shout away.

Arsenal maintained their offensive. The impressive Denilson slid a pass through to Arshavin, who had found space between United's defence and midfield which Ferguson's team selection was supposed to prevent.

Quickly Arshavin turned and let fly with a rasper of a drive.

Nemanja Vidic came close to levelling straight away for the hosts but, as they trooped into the tunnel for a dismal half-time debrief, the best they could actually reflect on was a Rooney free-kick that curled narrowly wide.

Strangely given how one-sided the opening half had been, Ferguson did not try to change things during the interval. And his team were almost out of the match before he had retaken his seat.

swept away

Arshavin sped past John O'Shea as though the Irishman was not there to reach the by-line and picked out Van Persie with a teasing low cross that looked certain to be number two until Foster stuck out a leg to make a magnificent save.

At that point, there seemed to be only one winner. How wrong those doubters were as Ferguson's team surged back, Ryan Giggs the architect behind the comeback just as Arshavin had sparked Arsenal earlier.

The difference was Dean said yes when United claimed their penalty as Rooney went crashing to the ground after Giggs had supplied the pass that sent him through one-on-on with Almunia.

Questions were asked when Rooney did not take the one Michael Carrick missed at Burnley. There was no need this time as Rooney went straight for the ball, put it on the spot and promptly sent Almunia the wrong way.

Any pretence at defence was now swept away amid the fervour of an occasion that threatened to become a classic.

When Diaby was hacked at by Rooney and Wes Brown, both men were booked and Van Persie was offered the chance to curl a free-kick at Foster's goal which thudded against the crossbar.

A minute later, from a very similar position, United got their second.

In truth, Giggs' free-kick would not have threatened Almunia if Diaby had not stuck his head on it and deflected it straight into the corner of his own goal.

Rooney scored again in this match but only from penalty spot, well that fine with me. My only regret was the goal do not created in a play. Go for top scorer Rooney!!!

Real eye Chicha

Real are told: Pea off
Manchester United are set to treble Javier Hernandez's wages to £75,000 a week to keep Real Madrid at bay. Madrid have told United to name their price for striker 'Chicharito' - Little Pea. But United, who are closing in on a £20million deal for Ashley Young, plan to boost the 20-goal Mexican striker's pay by £50,000 a week. Boss Alex Ferguson is adamant hitman Hernandez, 23, is going nowhere so soon after joining from Chivas for £6m on a four-year contract. Hernandez is currently one of the lowest-paid players at United on £25,000 a week. Talks over a new deal will take place after his involvement in the CONCACAF Gold Cup where he hit a hat-trick in Mexico's opening game, a 5-0 rout of El Salvador.

There are plenty of reasons why United fans should tune in to watch England’s Under-21 side in action at the European Championships this Sunday – not least the opposition.

Stuart Pearce’s team will face Spain in its first test, a side that contains confirmed United transfer target David De Gea. Of course, Reds Chris Smalling, Danny Welbeck and Tom Cleverley are all part of the England squad.

But it’s Atletico Madrid goalkeeper De Gea who the spotlight will fall on, as United fans around the world cast an eye over the man Sir Alex Ferguson has identified as “one we should go for”. Speaking after Gary Neville’s testimonial match last month, the Reds boss confirmed rumoured interest in the goalkeeper was real.

“He’s a young goalkeeper – very quick, good composure, presence and an outstanding replacement for van der Sar.”

But De Gea isn’t getting ahead of himself. Although aware of United’s interest, he insists his only focus for the next few weeks is Spain’s bid to become European champions at Under-21 level.

“Until the Euros are finished and things clam down a bit, I don’t know anything,” he told media. “I don’t know what goalkeepers Alex Ferguson likes. I’m just a normal goalkeeper, a discrete one. Being Atletico’s goalkeeper is completely different to being United’s and I’m not quite sure what he’s looking for.”

England meet Spain in Herning, Denmark on Sunday 12 June (19:45 BST).
Tony Cascarino: Manchester United Got Away With Murder Against Arsenal
The 46-year-old pundit believes the Red Devils were lucky victors on Saturday...
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson got his tactics and formation wrong on Saturday, according to football pundit Tony Cascarino, who felt that the Scotsman was luck to have have finished the game with maximum points after falling behind to an Andrey Arshavin strike.

Cascarino, a former striker for Chelsea, Celtic, Aston Villa, and Olympique Marseille, was also at odds trying to explain why Ferguson tinkered with a winning formula. Following on from the riotous 5-0 triumph over Greater Manchester side Wigan Athletic, Sir Alex fielded a more "timid" line-up against the Gunners.

"Sir Alex Ferguson got away with murder on Saturday," Cascarino informed The Times.

"For the first time in a long time the Manchester United manager showed Arsenal too much respect by playing a timid formation — and he was lucky to come away with a 2-1 victory.

"Why start with only one up front when you are at home and won your previous game 5-0?"

United beat Arsenal 2-1, with a Wayne Rooney strike and an Abou Diaby own goal ensured the north Londoners left Old Trafford empty-handed.
We had seen how magnificent this team during the game. Unstoppable until the final whistle blown by the referee.

Man United indeed lose one cup, FA Cup, after lose to the closest rival Manchester city 1-0. But as a huge fans to this red team, I hope next week in Champion League final Fergie's boy will play well and revenge our last final match that is we lose to them..
The article is short and give an pessimistic sense to the Red squad in the post match against Arsenal. I think Cascarino opinion is right. Man United was lucky to win in the old trafford, United's playscheme was need to be mend seriously.
===========================

Alan Dawson, Goal.com

Superb Second Half :Superb Comeback

I worried United would lose another point in this match but in the end I sang Glory..glory...Man United...
I watch the English Premier on the local tv station, but I do not have watch Man U and Wigan in live. The tv showed arsenal-porsmouth game, and it quit entertaining. Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger have every right to state we will be waiting from Manchester United. Arsenal play beautifully, I remembered that play was back in 90's. Dennis Bergkamp, Marc Overmars, Anelka, Henry those make the game entertaining but not forgetting to score.
This is what I think Man United lack of this season. I watched the game after the arsenal match. And to be frank the new United squad do not make me feel optimist at all. Rather I began to worry when United is facing Arsenal, Liverpool, or Totenham in the next match.
However the second half is a good relief. Watching Rooney, Berbatov, Owen, and Nani scored make my feeling a little comfortable. Especially Rooney's performance, he scored two goals that I think he was showing Sir Alex his real ability. Moreover he has scored 100 goals for the club now.
Let us hope United academy will make another talented players like Gigs, Beckham, Neville, Scholes. Hey.. I just realized that this club do not have striker flourishing from the academy?

A shocking Defeat

"Our players are all disappointed, it was a bad result for us. But I’m sure we’ll get a response (on Saturday, at Wigan)."
- Sir Alex Ferguson

The results was shocking United first defeat in this season is not coming from away match with Arsenal, Liverpool, or Chealsea but Burnley. What happen to this squad?
ManUtd.com reported in the game United players were to rash, sometimes to hesitant. Sir Alex gave another view, he said his players were too frivolous. There were a lot of miss decision made by the players. They sometimes tried to touch the ball instead shooting it. However, the manager believes that in the next match the players will perform better than this match.
He looked very comfortable and relaxed in his role.

"I think he’s learnt from last week at Wembley, that was an unusually nervy performance from him. But we know he has ability, he proved that again today."

Ben Foster had contributed well in the first match. With van der Sar injury blow, Sir Alex give him the opportunity to be the first choice goalkeeper in United starting line up. However despite of home win with the newly promoted Birmingham City, the promising young goalkeeper asked more to himself.

It seem that Foster on his guard for the next match. United is still having one other goal keeper Thomas Kuszack that will take his chance if Foster make disastrous mistake in the upcoming matches. Foster make a burden to himself, it is not his fault though. As defending champion with an ambitious manager, the fans expecting a new milestone this season.

We hope with his willingness to improve in the next matches, he will be able to become a new United Legend. And if he achieved the position as Legend it will make him better than other two goalie Legend of the club. Both Schmeichel and van der Sar were not from nurtured from United youngest squad.
For Burnley match he said that United have to be professional, do what we did against Birmingham and hopefully keep another clean sheet.

Coach View about United's Players (3)

I do not know about you guys but I still miss the Great Dane. Tall, though, and always screaming in the back. Some of the news said United had the strongest goalkeeper after the Great Dane in Van der Sar, but I still want Schmeichel in the United's Goal. Enough whining now we have big problem guys. Van der Sar had said that this season will be his last in United (or even in football ?)and with the English Premier League will start soon Edwin has problem of his own. His finger is broken. Well that will make ways of two young goalies in United, Ben Foster and Thomas Kuzchak. How well is their condition in the forthcoming season?? Mick will tell us all,

1 Edwin van der Sar Age 38 Appearances 191
"Edwin’s probably the most experienced player in the team, so we’ll miss him in the first two months of the campaign. He’ll probably set his own targets in terms of what he wants to achieve this term, but he knows how highly we regard him as a goalkeeper at Manchester United. I think he’ll be looking forward to getting back playing again as soon as possible. Both Edwin and the club have been a good marriage. He was a terrific goalkeeper when he joined us but I think he’s made further progress since he arrived. Each year he seems to go up a level, he’s seen and done it all so he’s a major asset to us."

12 Ben Foster Age 26 Appearances 11
"Ben came into the game a little later than most goalkeepers, but has tremendous potential. He still has a lot of work to do in all the departments but he’s getting the right coaching at this club and he has a good person to learn from in Edwin. Ben’s a strong-willed character and has a firm idea about where he wants to be and how quickly he wants to get there – now it’s just a matter of time before he really shows his credentials. He’s been unlucky with a few injuries and he’s had a bit of a stop-start career, but he’s working hard now and I think he sees light at the end of the tunnel. That’s what he’s working towards. And the fact that he’s now progressing into the England international setup has probably encouraged him to work even harder."

29 Tomasz Kuszczak Age 27 Appearances 37
"I think Tomasz is probably the first Polish player to join this club and he’s accepted those responsibilities extremely well. He’s at a club where every goalkeeper is challenging for the no.1 spot and he’s certainly one of those who’s in with a shout. And whenever he’s been called upon he’s performed to the highest quality. I’m sure he’ll be pushing on from where he left off last season."

As I said previously we will see United young guns flourishing from the reserve. Next The Midfield Report.

Manchester United 1-0 Birmingham City

Is Rooney capable of 20 plus Premier League goals? He is capable of that without question. You always need two or three of your strikers to get over the 20 goal mark. It has always been an advantage over the years for us and Wayne is capable of doing that."

- Sir Alex Ferguson

United start in this new season with a home win. Thanks to Rooney's 99th goal in his career in Manchester United shirt.

Playing in his preferred central role, Rooney tapped home from close range after his initial header had come back off the post after 34 minutes.

Wayne Rooney stepped out of Cristiano Ronaldo's enormous shadow to ensure Manchester United began the defence of their Barclays Premier League title with a victory over Birmingham City. Rooney is indeed not Ronaldo, there will be no trickery showed in his show. Mick Phelan has reported earlier that United's strikers are ready for the new season. Let's cross our finger that they will do well and do not have to absent because of serious injuries. Now move on to the Back where opponents' striker and midfield will try to score. How are United's defenders doing? Mick gives his report...

2 Gary Neville Age 34 Appearances 569 Goals 7
Gary’s one of the most experienced players we have at this club – he’s worn every shirt and won every medal so he needs to keep setting new challenges for himself. I think every game he plays now he’ll treat with the utmost respect. He’s committed to the cause, full of endeavour and he’ll be looking for an injury-free season.

21 Rafael Age 19 Appearances 28 Goals 1
Rafael has been inspirational. He instantly connected with the fans and showed an enthusiasm that’s required for a footballer at United. But he has a lot of progress to make and there are still things in his game he’s learning. He’ll gain that knowledge here – he’s intelligent, a quick learner and he wants to be a winner. Mentally he’s very strong and committed and he’s taken great strides in a short period of time. He’ll be looking to progress again and try and make the right back spot his own.

22 John O’Shea Age 28 Appearances 343 Goals 14
John’s one of the most underestimated footballers at the club. He’s an ever-present in the squad and always willing to do the job asked of him. He trains exceptionally hard and nobody has a bad word about his attitude. He’s a winner and loves being around the club, which is what we love. It’s great to see John progressing – he’s a regular international now and his main aim will be to cement a regular place in the team. John’s versatility is a credit to him. Some say it can go against you but John has a strong mental approach to football. Whenever he’s picked he performs at the highest level.

5 Rio Ferdinand Age 30 Appearances 311 Goals 7
Rio has found the club that really suits him. He’s found stability and a club that has been able to really bring the best out of him. He brings a quality to our defending that not a lot of other clubs have. That’s the reason we invested so much time, effort and money to bring him here. There are some good centre backs in England but Rio’s been producing consistently high performances for years now.

15 Nemanja Vidic Age 27 Appearances 153 Goals 12
Vida and Rio’s partnership has been second to none over the last few seasons and Nemanja had a particularly good season last term. He’s strong, powerful and we think he can get even better. He’s aggressive and has a real defender’s mentality. He does that job well and at times he probably goes a little bit unseen, but he’s extremely committed to the cause. He also contributes at the other end from set-pieces because he attacks the ball so well.

6 Wes Brown Age 29 Appearances 318 Goals 4
Wes missed very few games when we won the Premier League and Champions League trophies in the 2007/08 campaign. But last year he was really unlucky with injuries, missing most of the campaign. But he's worked hard over the summer and, despite a recent set-back, we look forward to having him back in the team now.

23 Jonny Evans Age 21 Appearances 38 Goals 0
Jonny is a tall and very solid defender. He has good mental strength, too, and a strong work ethic which has helped him reach the level he is at now. He's also a very intelligent lad, both on and off the field. He's good with the ball at his feet and the great thing for us is that he complements both Rio and Nemanja.

3 Patrice Evra Age 28 Appearances 147 Goals 2
Patrice is probably now establishing himself as one of the best left backs in Europe. That’s a credit to the effort he’s put in since arriving in England. He’ll be the first to tell you that he initially found life a little difficult in England and the Premier League a little daunting. But after a short spell he adapted magnificently and everyone can see he’s a fine player. In the modern game, full backs play a big part in winning football matches and Patrice has all the skills in his armoury to be a complete player. He can drive forward, he can defend well, he’s fantastic in the air… and he’s developed all these attributes here at this club.

Next Goalie..

Coach View about United's Players

How is United Players doing in the coming of English Premier Season? I suppose the question is not only popping in my head but also from other fans of United around the world. As we already know United this season is not like the United in the past. We will never see the magic of Cristiano Ronaldo dribbling the ball and creating chances. But we know that United is having the replacement. Maybe United formation will change but let us make that to Sir Alex. He is an ambitious old man and we know he had planned everything in his genius brain. So here is the report from United coach Mick Phelan.

The Strikers
7 Michael Owen Age 29 Appearances 1 Goals 0
At this stage of his career I think Michael's excited to be part of something that he sees as befitting his talent. He has exceptional qualities as a striker and I think he’ll fit into our style of play very, very well. We’re very happy to have him here.

9 Dimitar Berbatov Age 28 Appearances 44 Goals 14
Berba’s highly skilful and technically gifted. He’s very highly regarded here and I think now, having got over his first season with us, he’ll really produce the goods.

10 Wayne Rooney Age 23 Appearances 238 Goals 98
Wayne’s been a star from day one and he’s having to maintain that now every day. I think we’ve only seen a small part of what he is all about but I think he’s maturing now, he’s a little bit wiser, and this year he’ll bring all his qualities to the table.

41 Federico Macheda Age 17 Appearances 5 Goals 2
There’s still a lot of development to take place with Kiko but he’s incredibly talented. His goal against Villa made him an overnight star and the key for us is to nurture his talent correctly and manage the expectations that come with such a meteoric rise.

There you go guys. 3 well known strikers that will bring goal and chances to our beloved United and one future player. As mick says that they all ready for the new season and ready to roaming in the opponents goal.

Next what Phelan says about The Defenders??

Man United defeat in Community Shield

Community Shield mark the beginning of English Premier League. This season Man-Utd, as the English Champion, had to face The Blues, Chelsea, as the winner of FA cup. The line up:

Chelsea: Cech, Ivanovic (Bosingwa '46), Carvalho, Terry, Cole, Essien, Mikel (Ballack '65), Malouda (Deco '77), Lampard, Drogba, Anelka (Kalou '83)

Manchester United: Foster, Evra, Ferdinand, Evans, O'Shea (Fabio '75), Nani (Valencia '62), Carrick, Fletcher (Scholes '75), Park (Giggs '75), Berbatov (Owen '75), Rooney

Didier Drogba get the first chance to score when he was trying to shoot from outside of the box but Ben Foster managed to save it. In the corner Frank Lampard sent the ball flying across United’s goal and the ball met Branislav Ivanovic. Thanks to Patrice Evra, he head the ball out. However it was United that scored first. Nani kicked the ball hard enough that John Terry and Peter Cech cannot anticipate it. 1-0 for United.
Chelsea do not giving up and after the whistle of the second period they managed to score from Carvalho. 1-1. The Match will be more interesting if referee, Chris Foy, do not make human error of his own. Chelsea second goal scored by Frank Lampard began when Evra is down on the ground after Ballack gave him a little punch. The ref did not see this situation and make the match continue. Contrary to his previous decision when United is halfway on counter attack and Ballack is on the ground, Mr. Foy stopped the play and it means stopping United’s attack. 2-1 for Chelsea.
When the community shield is likely to be in Chelsea hand, Wayne Rooney scored! He succeeds to use through pass from Ryan Giggs. United 2-Chelsea 2.

Chelsea win the trophy of Community Shield after two United players Giggs and Evra cannot defeat Chech in penalty shoot out. It means the first trophy for Carlo Ancelotti. We will see how Sir Alex overcome this Mister Italiano.

Optimism From The Red Devils

Manchester United will meet newly promoted Birmingham City in the starting campaign of English Premier league. Patrice Evra is eager to start playing football again.
"I can’t wait [to run out on Sunday]," the Frenchman told United Review. "Footballers don’t have the longest holidays but when you’re not playing it seems like forever." Commenting about their first opponent Evra said "They’ll have a lot of ambition and will want to show people they deserve to be in the Premier League." He added "It’s often hard playing teams who have just been promoted or teams in the bottom half of the table because they have nothing to lose. If Birmingham get beaten it’s not a big deal – most people would expect them to lose against the champions.

"So they’ll play freely and without fear. We might see them play some good football and this is why it won’t be easy. But it’s important we continue our good pre-season form, get three points and start the season well."

Well I would expect there will be a statement anything but United again from English Clubs this day. And as a champion, we will see a new United. We will not see Christiano Ronaldo this season as Real Madrid has offer him better opportunity but we will see the genius of Sir Alex Fergusson transfroming young guns United to play along side of their senior players.

Babbyface is among Man United Babies

Where is the Baby Face Now? That is my question over 2 years ago. I really miss his goal scoring moments.
And as Van Der Sar will out several months recovering at least the moments had arrived.

Van Der Sar had proved his ability to Manchester United for giving this club the second Champions League title and English League title. News from Man United official sites says that Edwin had had broken finger in Audi Cup tournament and he will out until September.

Sir Alex had said that Edwin injuries is a blow for the team campaign but he also have high hope to his young goalie to replace his first. I feel really nausea about this. I remember that United defense will be having lot of problem when the first goalie is absent. I hope Edwin will recover fast and the prediction of bad start of English league will be a dream that never come true.

About MU Supporter

Manchester United supporters all over the world welcome to this site.

This Blog is dedicated to the Biggest, The Richest, and The Bravest football club in the world...

::Manchester United ::
