Flex on Java

2010-04-03T18:58:00.000+05:30

Product Description

Unlike many Flex books that presume readers want to develop applications from scratch, Flex on Java is for developers in the real world-where Flex is one more technology being added to existing systems developed in Java, and where integration is the key indicator of success.

Written for Java developers beginning to use Flex, Flex on Java shows how to use Flex alongside existing Java applications, and how to integrate Flex using familiar server-side technologies such as Spring, EJBs, JMS, and more. The authors, both Agile development experts, focus on Agile and test-driven development to enable readers to redesign applications that deliver more value and with zero defects. Throughout the book, readers will apply these techniques to refactoring a single application into a rich internet application using Flex and the BlazeDS framework.

If the sentiment works out- Simha must be big hit!

Magadheera and Arundhari films are big hit films of Tollywood where Kajal and Anushka played the roles of Queen in the film.

If the same sentiment works out- Simha is going to be a big hit where Nayanatara is also doing the same Queen role in Simha opposite NBK.

Condoms Fallen From Her Handbag

2010-04-03T15:13:00.000+05:30

The slender sizzler Kangana Ranaut may have been known as the most promising actresses along with superb talent, but at the same time, controversies have also been a part of her life. This time, our Bollywood bureau has reported something very interesting.

It was Kangana’s birthday yesterday and she had hosted a private party to very near and dear group of friends. Drinks were flowing in and after a while, the birthday girl was said to be on a high. Later, she disappeared for quite a while and then came back.

During the time of leaving, Kangana’s handbag dropped and got opened. Packets of condom fell out of it. Those who were around were wondering what the condoms were doing in her handbag and whether this had something to do with the brief absence in between the party. Only the birthday baby can explain.

Mahesh Babu Missed 'Seminude' Role

2010-04-03T15:12:00.000+05:30

Prince Mahesh Babu is one star who may have not been part of the regular release of films but then he has got enough impact on the Telugu audience. Now, here is something interesting about Mahesh and we guess he would be currently thanking all the lucky stars for that.

After the debacle of the much hyped ‘Sainikudu’, it is heard that director Gunasekhar came up with the story of ‘Varudu’ to Mahesh. But then, with scenes involving a topless hero, Mahesh could not proceed further since he has never done that in his whole career.

If he had said yes, then it would have meant a bare chested Mahesh with oil smeared over him. Well, that didn’t happen and ‘Varudu’ went to Allu Arjun. Though Mahesh could not survive the streak of his flop since ‘Athidhi’ happened, he is keen on scoring a thumping comeback with his upcoming venture.

Even junior is said to be excusing himself whenever a break is announced and he is seen wandering near the trees or distantly with his mobile glued to his ear.

No matter how many times he may have romanced in the reel life, romance in the real life and that too with the future partner is something very exciting. Unit members are said to be chuckling whenever a break is announced and they all look to locate where junior is hiding each time. Enjoy the most precious moments of life, NTR!!!

Jr NTR to become April Fool!

2010-04-03T15:09:00.002+05:30

April 1, the All Fools Day, is going to be the all-important day for young hero Jr NTR.

His much-awaited engagement with Lakshmi Pranathi, daughter of Studio-N chief Narne Srinivas and Mallika, neice of Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu, is going to take place on April 1, according to family sources.

Sources said the legal hurdles for Lakshmi Pranathi got removed, as she crossed 18 years on March 27. “So there are no more hassles. The marriage is most likely to take place in May,” sources said. The engagement ceremony is expected to take place at Shilparamam and all arrangements are being made to make it a mega event.

'Gudduthaa…' Kajal In Hot Discussion

2010-04-03T15:08:00.002+05:30

The film ‘Maro Charitra’ may have bombed at the box office but then there are few good things happening. For instance, the girl who lent her voice to heroine Anitha has hit the limelight and even her ‘punch’ dialogue has made her even more adorable.

Her name is Kajal and she is part of the Red FM channel team. Kajal used the word ‘Gudduthaa…’ in the film many times and that has become the catch word. Many are now calling her ‘Gudduthaa Kajal’ and she has got a tag of sorts wherever she has been going.

Apparently, that was the cutest thing in the film and even some of the youngsters have begun to use that in colleges and their hang out joints. Right now, ‘Gudduthaa..’ Kajal has become the talk of the town and her cute voice seems to have appealed many movie makers as well.

No ads to KCR channel from Andhra biz houses

2010-04-03T15:07:00.000+05:30

Raj News, the channel launched by Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao, exclusively for Telangana cause, has not gone down well with business world, dominated mostly by Andhra people.

Within a few days of the launch, the channel is hard-pressed for advertisement revenue. It will take a couple of years to get advertisements from big commercial houses producing FMCG products; but it needs advertisements initially at least from local business houses, commercial establishments and even educational institutions.

However, most of these establishments are controlled by Andhra entrepreneurs and when the marketing people of KCR channel approach them, they are simply getting negative response. In a few weeks from now, the channels would be flooded with advertisements from Narayana, Chaitanya and other big educational institutions and each channel will make a few crores within a span of two or three weeks. But Raj News people are drawing a blank every where. After all when the channel is for a cause, it has to bear the losses from other side!

Gopichand Missing?

2010-04-03T15:05:00.002+05:30

Aggressive star Gopichand is one man who was known as the most promising mass icon sometime back but his recent spate of flops has brought him down the ladder. More than that, the latest concern is that Gopi has been off the hook since quite a while and no one is sure what is happening with him.

Apparently, Gopichand has been busy with the shooting of his movie ‘Golimaar’ under the direction of Puri Jagannadh. There are no stills related to the movie, no programs and nothing happening on that aspect. Even Gopi has been absent from public events and he is not to be seen anywhere.

Friends of Gopi say that he has alienated himself from media and it is an understanding between him and Puri that they would keep a low profile till ‘Golimaar’ releases. The film also has the buxom beauty Priyamani as the leading lady and even she has been quiet about it. This is raising the curiosity levels.

Jokes On Topless 'Varudu'

2010-04-03T15:04:00.002+05:30

The Telugu folks have got this unique ability to see the best even in the worst of conditions. This applies particularly to the films which they are so passionate about. For instance, take the case of ‘Varudu’ which has been declared as no less than a colossal disaster.

Though the audience has given thumbs down to it, they are having their own share of humor. Looking at the topless posters of ‘Varudu’, they are now getting two thoughts. Firstly, Allu Arjun went bare to indicate that summer is arriving so it is time to take off the shirts.

There are those who say that they were worried if Allu Arjun would take an oath in the film not to wear a shirt or top till he gets back the heroine from the clutches of the villain. Such thoughts are even making rounds as SMS and ‘Varudu’ is bringing some smiles to people around. Well, anyway that is another way of publicity.

Prabhas-Dasarath Movie In Tension

2010-04-03T15:03:00.005+05:30

It is known news that sometime back, an announcement was made regarding the new movie of young rebel star Prabhas with the noted director Dasarath. The film was due to hit the floors as soon as Prabhas wraps up his schedules of ‘Darling’. Now, ‘Darling’ is complete but this new project is yet to be announced formally.

Sources say that the real reason for that happens to be Dil Raju. Apparently, Dil Raju is the producer for the Prabhas – Dasarath project but then with the severe financial crunch he has been going through, it is heard that the project has been kept on hold.

Some are saying that S S Rajamouli might start off with his new project with Prabhas since ‘Darling’ is already done and Prabhas is free. And it is also being said that the Dil Raju venture will take a long time to hit the floors. Let us wish Dil Raju comes out of this turmoil and regains his glory.

'Puli' In 'Daughteromania' With 4 Songs

2010-04-03T15:03:00.002+05:30

The arrival of a newborn changes the world of any man. Even power star Pawan Kalyan seems to be no exception to it. Apparently, the star was busy with the shooting of his new movie ‘Komaram Puli’ which is already running on delayed schedules but it appears that the film is going to get delayed further.

Sources say that there are still four songs pending for the film but then Pawan has been busy spending more time with his family and especially thenewborn baby girl. He is usually known for his professionalism but the strings of fatherhood seem to be getting the better of him this time.

While the makers are hoping that Pawan gets back on track soon, his fans are equally apprehensive since it has been quite a while since he is seen on the screen. But for now, the daughteromania seems to be going quite strongly for the power star.

Rana's 'Dum Maro Dum' Talk

2010-04-03T15:02:00.002+05:30

By giving biggest hit 'LEADER' Rana held a press meet at Spirit Towers to thank the audience, press media for supporting the true honest film Sekhar kammula ‘Leader’ and shared his feelings about next film

It is intimated to the viewers that Rana Daggubati is stepping in to the bollywood with a film titled, “Dum Maro Dum” revolves around the drug racket in Goa under the direction of Rohan Sippy. The film has Abhishek Bachchan, Prateek Babbar and Aditya Pancholi as co-stars. ‘Dum Maaro Dum’ is said to be inspired from the Hollywood film, ‘Traffic’.

Rana is acting opposite hot actresss, Bipasha basu in the film. Rana will be playing the role of a Goan musician in the film and for this role, Rana started learning guitar. The young leader is saying that he has fallen in love with the guitar and he is also playing it after the shooting of the film.

Well, what a dedication Rana has towards his work !

Fox Star Studios India, which made its presence felt in India by distributing Oscar winning Slumdog Millionaire and the recent My Name Is Khan, announced that it will co-produce director Rohan Sippy’s Dum Maro Dum, which marks the Hindi debut of Tollywood’s rising star Rana Daggubati.

It’s an amazing script that we are all very excited about. It’s going to be a film to watch out for in 2010,” Vijay Singh, CEO, Fox Star Studios India, said in a statement.

Gunasekhar Has No Idea About Andhra And Kerala?

2010-04-03T15:01:00.005+05:30

The impact of ‘Varudu’ has been so much on the crowds in a negative way that they cannot stop talking about the man behind this. He is none other than director Gunasekhar and here is one more observation which has begun to make rounds and seems to make a lot of sense.

Many are saying that Gunasekhar seems to be in no position to differentiate between Andhra and Kerala. Take for instance, the design of the Mandapam, it is without doubt that the art director Ashok came up with an excellent work but then the flavor of Kerala was seen strongly.

The scene with the groom arriving on the elephant, white sarees with golden borders of ladies and white lungis with golden borders of the gents, the musical beat of the orchestra, all this showed more of a Malayalam wedding than a Telugu wedding. Wonder what was going on in Guna’s mind…

Namitha speaks about her current films

2010-04-03T15:01:00.002+05:30

Namitha while speaking to the press said,” I am currently acting in a Telugu film titled Simha. I am pairing with Balakrishnan which is being directed by Poyapatti Seenu. I am donning the glamour role in this film.
Balakrishna is donning the role of a hero who speaks about nationalization. I fall in love with him after hearing his speeches. After this, what happens to our life is the rest of the story.
The shooting of the film is nearing completion. Only two days are remaining to be shot. After this I am acting in a film titled Desa Droghi directed by Ashok. I am also acting in a Malayalam film directed by Pramod Bappan and in a Tamil film.
The shooting of this film is to commence next month. Apart from these I have not accepted any other films. I have decided to act in the films which have good stories. There is a question that whether I will continue to act in Telugu films. It is Saran sir who introduced me in Telugu film Gemini.
After this only I came to act in Tamil films. There is nothing wrong in continuing to act in Telugu films. I have already acted in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada films. I will concentrate on all language films.”
