Mare Nostrum SPA now has a new beauty tip for you. This week is our colleague Elena Sabajanes which tells you how to have a radiant glance.

Tiredness, lack of sleep or, sometimes, genetics, makes appearing on your our face unsightly dark circles, unflattering purple spots. So, besides trying to hide under makeup Elena offers you some tips to do at home.

Almond oil: You can buy it at the pharmacy. Put it inside the fridge to keep it cold. If you suffer from dark rings around the eyes, apply it every night before bed time, you'll see how it will improve afer a few days thanks to the action of vitamin A.

Lemon: It is as effective as dangerous if you do not applied it with extreme care to keep the liquid from entering into the eyes. So, spread it with cotton around the area before going to bed.

Cucumber: And it is far from being an urban legend, trust us cucumber contains a significant amount of vitamin E which is beneficial. Put a couple of slices over the eyes for about 15 minutes.

Green tea or chamomile: Put the bag in hot water as if you were preparing an infusion, and then, being careful if can be hot. Use them on your eyes for about 15 minutes.

Remember that dark rings are greatly improved if we make healthy practices. So, avoid alcohol and caffeine and try to sleep at least eight hours at night. Also put cold water bags on your eyes every day.

El cansancio, la falta de sueño o, en ocasiones, la genética, hace que aparezcan en nuestro rostro las antiestéticas ojeras, unas manchas violáceas nada favorecedoras. Así, además de tratar de ocultarlas bajo el maquillaje Elena te propone una serie de remedios caseros para que las trates en profundidad en tu propia casa.

Aceite de almendras: Lo puedes comprar en la farmacia y debes conservarlo en el interior de la nevera para que se mantenga frío. Si eres propensa a padecer ojeras aplícalo alrededor de los ojos cada noche antes de acostarte, verás cómo en unos días mejorará su aspecto gracias a la acción de la vitamina A.

Limón: Es tan efectivo como peligroso si no se aplica con extremo cuidado de que el líquido no penetre en los ojos. Así, extiéndelo con un algodón por toda la zona antes de acostarte.

Pepino: Una de las fórmulas anteojeras por antonomasia. Y es que lejos de ser una leyenda urbana, lo cierto es que los pepinos contienen una importante cantidad de vitamina E que resulta beneficiosa. Ponte un par de rodajas sobre los ojos durante unos 15 minutos.

Té verde o manzanilla: Sumerge las bolsitas en agua caliente como si fueras a prepararte una infusión y, a continuación, con cuidado de no quemarte, utilízalas sobre los ojos durante unos 15 minutos.

Recordad que las ojeras mejoran mucho si llevamos a cabo unas prácticas saludables. Así, evita el alcohol, el tabaco y la cafeína y trata de dormir un mínimo de ocho horas. Además, acostúmbrate a poner sobre los ojos toallas empapadas en agua fría; con esto conseguirás descongestionar la zona.

To strengthen them: it is necessary daily rub with olive oil, coconut oil or Vaseline. It is advisable to do this before bedtime and in the morning do not forget to wash them well to remove the remains.

For resistant lashes with volume: prepare two spoons of Castor oil with rum. After mixing these two ingredients, carefully place it on the eyelashes with a cotton swab taking care with your eyes.

Remember that lack of some proteins and vitamins in our diet affects also your eyelashes. It is therefore very important to have a rich diet in magnesium, zinc, vitamin B6 and biotin to strengthen them. Nuestra compañera del Mare Nostrum Spa Annette nos cuenta hoy "Cómo mantener las pestañas bien cuidadas".

Para fortalecerlas: es necesario frotarlas a diario con aceite de oliva, de coco o vaselina. Es recomendable hacer esta operación antes de acostarte y no olvides por la mañana de lavarlas bien para quitar los restos.

Para obtener unas pestañas resistentes y con volumen: preparar dos cucharadas de aceite de ricino con una de ron. Una vez mezclados estos dos ingredientes, los aplicas con un bastoncillo de algodón sobre las pestañas teniendo la precaución de que no te caigan en los ojos.

Recordar que la carencia de algunas proteínas y vitaminas en nuestra dieta también repercute en el pelo de nuestras pestañas. Por ello, es muy importante tener una alimentación rica en magnesio, zinc, biotina y vitamina B6 para fortalecerlas. La protección contra agentes externos tales como la luz, el polvo o el sudor es muy importante.

1.- Objeto del concurso y procedimiento de concesión del premio:

Los participantes de este concurso deben ser huéspedes del hotel que hayan completado todas las casillas del juego, rellenado todas las casillas de contacto y entregado en las fechas correspondientes.

Para disfrutar del premio del 15% de descuento el huésped debe estar alojado en el hotel y la reserva debe realizarse antes del 5 de Enero y será aplicada sólo a una reserva hecha por esta persona en el año 2013.

2.- Participantes: El concurso está abierto a todas aquellas personas físicas, mayores de edad, que deseen participar, no pudiendo participar en el mismo ni empleados ni directivos de la organizadora. Para optar al premio se debe haber entregado y colgado las correspondientes fotos en el Facebook de Mare Nostrum Resort (https://www.facebook.com/mare.nostrum.resort) en el tiempo establecido en el juego. Todos los participantes en este juego ceden gratuitamente a Expo Hoteles & Resorts y a las sociedades por ella representada, sus derechos de imagen y de propiedad intelectual referentes a las fotos, textos y vídeos enviados, para un periodo ilimitado, sin contraprestación ninguna por parte de Expo Hoteles & Resorts.

Los participantes que envíen sus fotos o vídeos declaran haber conseguido el consentimiento de ceder los derechos de imagen y propiedad intelectual de todas aquellas personas que puedan verse reflejadas en el contenido enviado y ceden tal derechos a Expo Hoteles & Resorts en las condiciones estipuladas arriba. La organización del concurso presupone que el participante posee todos los derechos sobre el vídeo presentado, por lo que no asume ninguna responsabilidad derivada en este extremo.

3.- Periodo de participación: Desde el 22 de Diciembre 2012 a las 08:00 y hasta el 2 de Enero de 2013 a las 20:00 horas para entrar en el sorteo de noches gratis. Para disfrutar de un 15% adicional desde el 22 de Diciembre a las 08:00 y hasta el 5 de Enero de 2013 a las 20:00 horas.

4.- Premio: Los participantes entrarán en un sorteo de 2 noches gratis de habitación en reservas para el 2013.

Además todos los huéspedes que durante su estancia y antes del 5 de enero realicen su reserva con nosotros para la gran fiesta de nuestro 25 aniversario el 14 de Marzo del 2013 contarán con un 15% de dto. adicional.

El premio es nominal, personal e intransferible, siendo el beneficiario del premio la persona que conste que ha rellenado y entregado con su nombre y apellido el formulario del juego. El premio no es transferible a ninguna otra persona y no podrá ser cambiado por su valor en metálico. No incluye gastos de viaje. Las condiciones referentes a los niños acompañantes de adultos, así como costes de servicios adicionales (transfer, media pensión etc.), serán las definidas y publicitadas por Expo Hoteles & Resorts en su página web.

El premio deberá ser aceptado por el ganador de forma expresa y por escrito en las condiciones establecidas en las presentes bases en el plazo de un mes, emitiendo Expo Hoteles & Resort un título concediendo el premio según las condiciones establecidas en las bases.

5.- Plazo de reserva: El ganador del concurso deberá realizar la reserva un mes antes de la fecha de la estancia. No se podrá reservar en fechas especiales tales como Navidades, Semana Santa, Puentes o festivos.

6.-Lugar y plazo de presentación: La urna ubicada en la tienda Thinkling of You Desde el 22 de Diciembre 2012 a las 08:00 y hasta el 2 de Enero de 2013 a las 20:00 horas para entrar en el sorteo de noches gratis.
Para disfrutar de un 15% adicional desde el 22 de Diciembre a las 08:00 y hasta el 5 de Enero de 2013 a las 20:00 horas.

7.- Protección de Datos: Los datos personales recogidos de los participantes del concurso serán tratados con la máxima confidencialidad de acuerdo con la normativa vigente de protección de datos. Los datos suministrados se incorporarán al fichero “Gestión Comercial y Marketing”, titularidad de Expo Hoteles & Resort, S.L. debidamente registrado en la Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, con la finalidad de gestionar el concurso, cumplir con el tratamiento especificado en estas bases así como enviarle información de actividades comerciales de Expo Hoteles & Resorts.

Con la participación en el concurso, los participantes consienten el tratamiento de datos y la comunicación de datos entre empresas vinculadas a Expo Hoteles & Resorts.

Los participantes podrán ejercer los derechos de acceso, rectificación, cancelación u oposición mediante escrito a Expo Hoteles & Resort, S.L., Avda. de Roma 2-4, 08014 de Barcelona.

8.- Aceptación de las bases: La presentación de la propuesta implica por parte de los participantes la aceptación de las presentes bases, renunciando al derecho a realizar ninguna reclamación o acción legal de cualquier naturaleza contra Expo Hotel & Resort. Expo Hoteles & Resorts se reserva el derecho de descartar a los participantes que envíen contenidos ofensivos, con contenido pornográfico o de discriminación racial o connotaciones ilegales etc.

9.- Resolución de conflictos: La participación en el concurso implica la aceptación de las presentes bases. En caso de existir dudas, reclamaciones, o discrepancias emergentes directa o indirectamente de la ejecución de las presentes bases, las partes se obligan a solucionarlos a través de la composición amigable, y sólo en caso de no prosperar el diálogo, se someterán a la jurisdicción de los Tribunales de Barcelona.

El equipo de Mare Nostrum Resort participa en la campaña del Banco de Alimentos de Tenerife.

Estamos orgullosos de tener en Mare Nostrum Resort un equipo de trabajadores solidarios y comprometidos con la sociedad y los menos favorecidos.

En esta ocasión trabajadores de Mare Nostrum Resort se involucran en la campaña de recogida de alimentos del Banco de Alimentos de Tenerife y ayudaran en la recogida de alimentos el Viernes 30 de Noviembre en el Hipertrebol de Los Cristianos y de Adeje en Tenerife Sur.

Sabemos que el pueblo canario se caracteriza entre otras muchas cualidades por ser solidario con las personas más necesitadas, por eso te animamos a colaborar en esta campaña.
