Bundoora Wedding Photographer: Engagement Session We experienced all seasons in the one session! Beautiful love of Katie and Damien.

NOTE: the images in this feed have been downsized or removed for copyright reasons. We had a full range of weather starting with quite dull skies, a brief glimpse of sunshine, and rain bucketing down to contend with. Not only that these two had to contend with my weird sense of humour and strange ways. To say that I am excited about photographing their wedding is an understatement! I loved hearing about how they met and various parts of their story, but I digress! A sneak peek from their engagement session. We started out in the dull light- but look at the love between them!

Then for a brief moment under the willow trees the sun came out.

Then the wind! Check out Damien’s hair! I do love this black and white sequence though.

Same location but in colour

Starting to get dull again….but look at Katie’s gorgeous hair!

After this it really bucketed down.

It cleared up enough to take a few more in the leaves.

There are so many more I could post but will just end with this one!

Thanks again – and I’ll be in touch soon with the rest of the gallery- your wedding is going to be fantastic!

Very amusing that the sun came out so gloriously 5 minutes after I walked away!!

But the dreamers of the day are dangerous people, For they dream their dreams with open eyes, And make them come true.” – D.H. Lawrence

We (that’s me and DEE CH) are looking for couples or individuals that are willing to share their dreams with us for a collaborative fine art project.

We want to hear your dream! Not your night time scary dreams but your day day dreams- something you have always wanted to do. Dreams of what you want to be, where you want to be and what you are doing. You may have always wanted to be a werewolf, or travel in a hot air balloon, or be in a scene from Swan Lake. The dreams can be anything from simple, fantastical or outrageous!

The idea is to select the most interesting and fun dreams, and to turn those dreams into photographic and artistic reality. Yes! you get to enact your dream! (Melbourne dreamers only please!)

Tell us your dream and email it to haveadream@mareejaeger.com.au tell us why your dream appeals. Please DO NOT SEND photographs we will be selecting on the basis of the dreams only.

We will select a number of dreams to turn into artistic and photographic reality.
All dreamers selected must be willing to sign a standard studio copyright/release form. In addition to this amazing experience, all selected dreamers will also receive fine art photographic prints to remember their dream.

All dreams due in 30 May 2012.

I had a little blog accident. I deleted it! It’s a long, involved and complex story. Basically I accidentally deleted the whole 3 years or more of my blog. As a geek girl of course I had a backup copy of it…so with a bit of help was able to restore it.

EXCEPT FOR THE PHOTOS.

Anyone else get a sense of irony here? This could be a first- a photographers blog without the actual photos. I can laugh about it- but you will need to bear with me while I see if I can recover them or alternatively re load 3 years worth of photos back into the blog. A prospect that quite frankly doesn’t excite me at all.

Anyway thanks for your patience! Meanwhile I have updated my website a little and will make further improvements (no deleting it!) very soon.

I also know that when I blog I do tend to say how beautiful and amazing my clients are, everytime. It’s also true that I never say anything I don’t mean. I can not help that all my clients are beautiful and amazing, it just pans out this way.

Sunday was no exception I met another beautiful family.

A very quick sneak peek from the session.

Brother and sister shot. Love their arms around each other, and the protective look on big brothers face.

This had to be in black and white.

Very briefly (and I do mean very briefly!) the sun came out as they were standing there.

Thank you so much it was a great pleasure meeting you all and I will be in touch once I have your gallery ready.

Exchanging the rings! Ben and Bindi also drank some wine (that Bindi’s Dad had made) as part of the ceremony too.

Of course the kiss as husband and wife!

and walking off to be congratulated by family and friends- how happy do they look?

Insert alot of photos of congratulations by family and friends (seriously I have so many photos of this wedding!). Then Ben’s brother drove me up the road (thanks so much!) ahead of Mr and Mrs! Got to love this!

Now, I’m rather partial to round haybales (I know it’s odd, but I am!) and rather partial to weddings so when I saw these at the roads entrance down to the ceremony I was very excited. Is it just me or are these very very cool? I think they are fantastic! So I grabbed a shot of Mr and Mrs with HayBale Mr and Mr’s

Someone please tell me you love these hay bales as much as I do!

We then went to a nearby beach and I kind of asked nicely if they would mind stepping on these rocks. Ben was a bit worried I think, as he kept saying the waves are really coming in. I kept saying its ok you are fine- trust me (Hahahha!). Thanks for standing there

Insert a heap more beach photos here – yep I took alot but this one was one of my favourites right at the end of the beach session.

We then headed back to the beautiful Eagle Ridge Resort where we had some fun driving (well actually again Ben’s brother did that for me- thanks) around the course in the golf carts.

Then headed back to the reception room which was just lovely.

The beautiful cake was made by Ben’s Mum.

Now as I’ve shared way too many photos- I will leave it there (could of shared so many more).

Oh wait I have to share this black and white moment- not like me to not show some black and whites. This is one of my favourites
Bindi and Ben- you have made it so hard for me to narrow down your gallery- but I will be in touch as soon as it’s completedThanks again!

Married on October the 8th!

Now, prior to this my entire family had been struck down with various health issues, I was struggling not to get sick for their wedding. Although not 100%, and I got a few peoples names wrong (thanks for being understanding and laughing with me!), it was wonderful to witness and capture the moments of their special day.

When I arrived to visit Bindi, her Dad was busy working on the speech! There were lots of notes and bits of paper!Bindi was already looking radiant!

The shoes!Flowers!

Getting ready.

The dress (Henri Josef) was waiting-hints of detailing.

Beautiful earrings!Beautiful…

Beautiful Bindi- ready!

Meanwhile at the stunningly beautiful ceremony location…

Ben plays cricket (the aisle happens to be the family cricket pitch)

And relaxes with his groomsmen.

A bit of a wait…but then…the bridesmaids car arrives.

and then the beautiful bride!

and the story of this wedding will be continued….there is something FANTASTIC that I will share with you in part 2
