New Ads for the Final Weekend of the Primary!

Margaret Donnelly has three new ads for the final weekend of the Democratic primary going into rotation around Missouri. Watch them all and pass them along to your friends and family!

The first ad "Where They've Been", running in the St. Louis area, contrasts Margaret's positive record protecting Missouri families as an attorney and legislator with her chief opponent's history of bad judgement:

Another version of the "Where They've Been" ad is running in Kansas City right now:

The final ad is an updated version of "All My Life", with supportive quotes added from the current Attorney General (and next Missouri governor), Jay Nixon:

Saint Louis Post-Dispatch Endorses Margaret!

Attorney General: Republican Mike Gibbons, 49, a state senator from Kirkwood, is unopposed. Three Democrats are waging a spirited, high-spending race:

• Margaret Donnelly, 54, a state representative from Richmond Heights and a lawyer who specializes in family law, has been a leading voice in the Legislature on behalf of children. As attorney general, she says, she would emphasize child support enforcement, the Sunshine Law, consumer protection and prosecution of Medicaid fraud. She also said she would crack down on frauds against senior citizens, with a special eye on the reverse-mortgage market[...]

Mr. Harris is an impressive candidate, but the strength, heart and tenacity of Margaret Donnelly make her our choice.

The November 4 general election may make history in this country, and it may also set up Missouri (and many other states) for positive and productive transformation, with Democrats replacing Republicans in key seats and statewide offices. This makes the August 5 state primary a very important election, for this is when Democrats will choose the candidates that will oppose Missouri Republicans in November[...]

Local law enforcement is the most important state investment
in the battle against methamphetamines

St. Louis - State Representative Margaret Donnelly condemned the elimination of federal and state funding for the Missouri Sheriff Methamphetamine Relief Taskforce (MoSMART). Rep.

Elected Officials Don't Get Do-Overs

St. Louis - On Saturday, November 3, 2007 at the Missouri Democratic Party
State Committee Meeting in Jefferson City, Chris Koster suggested he would
have liked a do-over of his 2005 Medicaid vote.

Koster told the Missouri State Democratic Committee that his 2005 vote to
cut Missourians off of Medicaid was a mistake, and he would not vote for the
same bill today. Koster's vote with the Republican Party took healthcare
