It's time for another challenge at Pals Paper Arts! I've designed a sketch for our latest challenge (PPA129) and we're hoping you'll join in the fun! This card uses the stamp set Mixed Bunch and it's coordinating punch to create the featured flower! I chose to use a mix of patterned prints for my background papers and pleated faux ribbon to complete the trendy color combo! I like the results! What do you think? Paper Players Theme Challenge

I'm excited to be able to play along with The Paper Players this week in their Flower Theme Challenge (PP81), hosted by my talented friend, Nance Leedy! This Valentine card features a bright and colorful trio of fun flowers that were easily made using several different punches! I love the pink, orange, and red against the sunny yellow! Even though the punched heart centers with the added red rhinestones really emphasize Valentine's Day, this card could easily work for a birthday or get well card also! Birthday Card for a Friend

This fun birthday card was created for my very good friend, Nancy, who will be celebrating her birthday tomorrow (Nancy, if you're reading this now and don't want to see your card yet, stop reading and don't peek)! She's the librarian at our local primary school and I'm sure she'll receive lots of birthday hugs, smiles, and wishes from the many students and teachers she serves at SJE! PPA128 Color Challenge

Red is my favorite color, so this week's Color Challenge (PPA128) at Pals Paper Arts makes me very happy! The challenge is to use ANY color of red to create a card! I chose Riding Hood Red and Cherry Cobbler for my shades of red and used them to feature one of my favorite stamps, Sweet Floral! Bright and Bold Valentine Pocket Cards

I love pocket cards and actually made this cute set of Valentine pocket cards either last year or the year before (can't remember)! I obviously never got around to posting them, so I thought I'd share them with you today! Bright colors were combined to play off the patterned papers, providing lots of visual interest and contrast! Stampin' Up! Leadership and Regionals were held in San Antonio last week! I'm a member of Mary Fish's Stampin' Pretty Pals and we gathered between the two events for dinner and a card swap!
