These two twins are so cute and amazing. The way they just work with each other and feed off each other is awesome. Their Aunt is a friend of mine and I remember meeting them when they were still babies. These two are going to be extra fun when they get older~

Can I just tell you how excited I am for these two? Super excited. They have dated for awhile. Alfred asked and Kristine said “Yes”. I was so honored when she asked me to photograph not only their engagement pictures but their wedding in Fall.

Tyler + Crystal are married

I was so excited when the mother of the groom asked me to photograph her son’s wedding. I was even more excited to find out he is military. It was simply my pleasure to photograph this wedding. The weekend before was bright and sunny. The rain did us in most of the time but there were times we were able to go out in the cold and get some great shots. Congrats Tyler and Crystal on your new life together <3

Giveaway - Please read
The Olivia Act, named after one of the children killed in Newtown, was started by an anonymous photographer. Olivia’s family had family pictures taken a short time before she was killed on that horrible day. I have seen what having those last photos can mean to a family member and it means truly means the world to them. Upon hearing about this, Leslie was moved to give away a 30 minute family photo shoot and has challenged other photographers to do the same. I know that not all families have the resources to have photos taken every year, but I’d love 2013 to be the year for one of them.

I will be taking nominations for a family who you think would appreciate this gift of memories. The session will take place sometime after the new year. Email me your nominations to mari@marismithphotography.com including a brief message on who you’re nominating and the reason you’d love them to get this. The family chosen will be contacted via email, so please include that as well! I’ll be taking them anytime between now (December 18th) and December 31st. Please SHARE this status so your friends and family will know too! Can’t wait to gift a family with these memories that can’t be replaced or taken away!

Cant say enough about this family. I have known Letty & Juan since 2nd grade!! They have a beautiful family and I was so excited when she asked me to photograph their family. Since my son is in 2nd grade, I was thinking WOW. We have known each other for 30 years. Yikes!
