I want to over exhaust myself!

It’s official, I know no boundaries in keeping myself busy. I am applying for a second research position at my university, where I am currently taking 2 summer classes that I’m extremely behind in. Next semester I would then be working 2 research positions, a TA position and 16 hours of classes. Plus, maintaining my home as far away as possible from the pig sty it is now and taking care of my little brother and maintaining a scholarship.

Apparently, I think I’m some sort of Wonder Woman that can do everything and manage to keep her sanity. So, to prep for it, I have been buying tons of candy and have a Netflix subscription, and I’m heavily considering getting VIKI pass, so I don’t have to sit through all those ads. For now, I am attempting to also have some sort of social life by meeting up with some other people from the Physics department to study for the classes we’re taking next semester.

I should get back to work, but I needed a slight break from the insanity I’m making myself go through. I do believe it will be worth it. I would have a pretty impressive curriculum upon graduation, besides I have my weekends, kinda. Hopefully it won’t be completely taken up with homework!

Alright, I’ll leave you for now, I love writing on here because I feel like I’m actually having a conversation and activating my words. Kidding! Well, I will probably have something up later this week either on here or any of my other blogs.

I did it, I created 12 (11+ this one) blogs total! It was never my true intention, but I think it makes it easier for the follows on here and RSS feed subscriptions, at least for now. It took me a while and then you have July 4th weekend. Or as I know it, getting my shit together weekend. I bought a bookcase, a bunch of office organizing supplies in the hope that it’ll help me maintain some sense for next semester with the research and possible jobs. But I finally created all the blogs and linked them to the posts on this blog to which category they correspond.

I still haven’t finished customizing each blog. Or really posted an actual first post that isn’t a copy of the original page’s text. I really want to change any images on the blogs to images I created. I hope to get that done this week but I also have homework due and a couple of tests over the weekend, so no promises. Sorry!

So, for now if you go to the post on the category that you liked or were interested in you can now find a link on that same post (I updated all posts!) and it will redirect you to the blog you should follow. If you are interested in more than one blog and don’t want to go through the hassle I will list them all below. Aren’t I a peach? So, I am unable to actually make different feeds for different categories right now. I tried and couldn’t get it to work. If I ever figure it out, I might come back to the original idea. But as of right now, I will be making a separate blog for every category and post my posts and podcasts there.

I will still keep this blog open to link to all the others and for posts that don’t really fit anywhere like one I already started drafting on getting my first research position at my university. So, I hope you stick around and I posted the links to the blogs on the pages I had previously made for this blog, so if you are interested in each of those check them out.

I will probably keep the category names as the names of the blogs…

Books have been a part of me ever since I can remember. I was taught to read extremely young (2 1/2 yrs old). My grandparents both love reading and showed me the treasures of books. I started with books that were very advanced like encyclopedias and biographies and classic literature. But I found that books hold, knowledge, alternative worlds, and characters just like me. I found myself being drawn to reading, I wanted to go on more adventures from the comfort of my grandparents couch with a bowl of whatever treat my grandma made that day. I can hardly stop myself when I find out something new, I become obsessed with every little fact and desire to know more. Books helped shape who I am today. I wouldn’t ever change that. “A-Drama” Page

I know I have a shows page, but Asian dramas NEED their own page. I started with Korean Dramas back when I was in my Junior year of High School in 2010-2011. I feel old! Just kidding. Anyways, I liked k-pop since I discovered it in middle school after loving j-rock through my obsession with anime (refer to anime page). If you like that music too, you may want to browse my music page as well. Then, the real problem picked up after k-dramas got a hold of me, I couldn’t and wouldn’t stop. I then started watching Taiwanese and Japanese dramas too. I went back and watched any shows I could find from before my obsession began so I went back and watched a few 90s and 80s dramas too. I have a lot of shows I’ve enjoyed and some I hold some unpopular opinions about, so I will discuss many old, new and classic Asian dramas here. I hope you enjoy my rants!

I love music, it is one of the few things that keeps me alive. Ok, that sounded way more EMO than intended. What I mean is that music inspires and motivates me. When I wake up, it is the first thing I do. Literally, I sleep with my phone and tablet next to me and when my alarm goes off, I play music, whatever I’m feeling like that morning. And boy do I have a large repertoire of musical knowledge. Odds are I know all the lyrics to the first 20 songs you can think of. I love ALL music genres portrayed in all languages. I swear, if I put my music on shuffle, it’ll go from Country to Japanese Pop to Bachata to Heavy Metal to Disney songs to Grunge to K-pop to Classical Music to Jazz to Punk-Rock to French Folk music. I am weird, but my diverse musical taste makes me able to hold conversations with just about anyone and I would not trade that for anything. I love music, and to me all genres are equally awesmazing!
