Review

If I told you that I dislike this book I would be lying. Don't get me wrong I would have liked more graphic love scenes. But that's more my taste when it comes to romance novels. It doesn't lessen the book in any way shape or form. What we do get from the love scenes is pretty good and they don't overpower the story.

Unlike some paranormal romances with a lot of action and adventure with love and romance in the mix, this book does not go in that direction. Yes, it has an antagonist and a protagonist like any other book. The difference is that you get a contemporary Love Story instead of being action-adventure. This is refreshing coming from Paranormal romances that always have this dire need to accomplish a particular goal. This is more about their love story and not about an epic adventure they have to go on to save the world or one of them is the chosen one. Even though most of the characters in this book are mythical creatures of some sort they're easily relatable. You don't even notice or realize that they are not human. For some, it may be a downside to the story but I found it to be a definite plus.

Both the heroine and the hero of this story are relatable and lovable. The relationship is very enticing yet normal you can really root for them throughout the whole entire book. The heroin has this incredibly smart and Sassy grandmother that I love. She is like the grandmother you wish you would have had. The heroine's sisters are well fleshed out. Even though they are triplets they have very separate personalities which I like. You don't confuse one for the other at any point. But you still see this lovable sisterly bond between them.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. I'm giving this book a five out of five because I really enjoyed it. It was nice and easy to read. I didn't have to commit to a series of long arduous storylines that were complicated. It was simple and fun. If the author gets around to writing the next book I will definitely be purchasing it.

Overall this is an awesome book if you are not looking for anything with heavy fantasy but yet still want a little bit of magic. It's a quick read that will definitely satisfy the romance lover inside of you.

Review

I need to preface this before I continue and that is that this happens to be my favorite author and book series next to Joanna J. "Wolf Country Series". The fact that Kresley Cole took two years to release this book was driving me insane. I cannot say how excited I was when I heard that it was coming out finally...I mean I was tickled pink!

I have been reading her Immortals after dark series since the release of “No Rest For The Wicked” in 2006, so to say that I have been reading KC for a very long time is an understatement. But enough about that, let's get to what you really came to read.

To be honest the only con that I found in Munro was the fact that it felt fast. Meaning by the time that I was up to the last five chapters I felt like there was more story to be told. So even though the book is long and meaty I digested it so quickly that it felt as if it was a novella. But I think that's more my fault because I have been waiting for this book for 2 years so of course.

I read through it like a crazy woman. I stayed up all night. The only other thing that I can think of is that there was a lot of sexual tension as per usual for Kresley Cole, but there wasn't a lot of actual sex or sexual activities. Which would have been nice but does not make the book any less amazing.

Good God, where do I start! I mean it's Kresley Cole you can't go wrong with this woman and her books. They're masterpieces at least that's my opinion. I really enjoyed how the main characters had an enemy to Lover's relationship at the beginning.

The push and pull between the main couple is just right, intense as other books do it where it's to the point that it's very convoluted. The main female character had this Wild Spirit about her but yet was still logical with her decision-making. Which made her more relatable in my opinion so I could see myself as her.

I was very happy that KC explains in the book how bringing somebody from the past doesn't change the future. It's done in a very believable and logical way. I was quite content and happy that one of my favorite couples made it into a cameo in the book and that is Lothaire and Elizabeth.

They unwittingly brought up some interesting conversations for the main characters to work out. Now I don't want to spoil it for you but you get to see the scary side to the nymphs which I didn't expect at all but oh my God was it worth it. Last but not least the epilogue was spectacular. There is a surprise in it that took me aback but at the same time I was screaming "finally!"

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. This book for me is five stars worthy because it is just hands down a book you can't stop reading until the end. I felt like I couldn't get enough of it. I wanted to keep reading I wish there was the next book after this was already out. So I was definitely thrilled to read it after two years of waiting.

Munro is a time-traveling Wild Ride that will have you glued to the book. But besides that, it's also a lovely book that's adorable. Where you have two star-crossed lovers finding each other most unusually. If you are interested in something exciting yet down-to-earth and adorable this may be the book that you're looking for. It has fantasy, comedy, love, and some delicious spice.

Cons

All right, as much as I love witchy-related books this one is not one of my favorites. One of the reasons is that the story dragged on a little bit longer than I would have liked. The characters seem to take forever to figure out simple things that most people that don't even practice witchcraft know about. Then there's their fear of being caught practicing or doing anything magically related that they become slightly annoying. It's only when they start to slowly and I mean slowly learn and embrace their magical abilities.

The book was also supposedly of romance but I didn't see much romance in the book. Yes, the characters do have relationships that they are trying to either save or get away from. But it's really like secondary throughout the whole book. To the point that you kind of forget that they're in relationships or are starting to date people Etc. So I kind of felt a little bit cheated out of that.

Pros

Now you must be thinking well Maria do you like anything about the book? well yes, yes I do! I did like it when it got interesting between Gwen and Jeremy. Even though you barely see them together and their chemistry comes out of nowhere but when it does it's good. My favorite character has to be Aunt Esme! She is such a badass and is a total crone when it comes to her magic and how she wields it.

I enjoyed how Trudy kept on spelling her cupcakes. It got to the point where I was like I want some of that strawberry Bliss! I must say I really love how Trudy manifests her magic not just in her cupcakes but in other aspects.... hint hint... don't want to spoil it.

I rate this book 3 out of 5 stars. Even though the pace of the book was slower than I would have liked I still enjoyed it. No, it's not something that I would Rave about. But I don't regret reading it. There's potential for the second book to be better and faster pace. I just want to see the characters be a little bit more confident with their magic and not cower at the idea of magic. You do see that a little bit with each character by the end of the book. But it's very much at the beginning of that transformation for them.

Overall this book is a light-hearted book about cousins trying to figure out their family drama. If you enjoy a little light-hearted drama with a touch of Whimsy you might love this book.

Honestly, this book is really well written. I can't think of any negative or cons. The only thing that comes to mind is that it is a short story and there isn't much depth to the characters. I would have liked it to be a little bit longer. But it is a novella so that is to be expected.

I really enjoyed the drama between the two main characters. Who doesn't like a guy trying to win the girl that he loves over and redeeming himself in her eyes. I like the fact that it wasn't too dramatic because sometimes that can actually be very repugnant if the author doesn't know how to blend it really well. It was just the right amount of push and pull between the two of them that you really wanted to see the outcome.

That's why I really could not put the book down once I started reading it. I was crying the whole way and I was very committed to what would happen to the characters. I really wanted them to succeed and have a happy ending because it was so relatable. The other did an amazing job of making Bryce the cutest little kid you could ever imagine.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. This book really quenches my thirst for that push and pull. That struggle between lovers trying to make it work. It really just set that hopeless romantic in me in motion. It pulled on my heart strings and made me feel good at the end.

For those of you, that really want that dramatic Second Chance story of a man redeeming himself in the eyes of the woman that he loves. With a nice dose of paranormal Romance, this definitely would work for you.

The Cons

Alright, My Little Wonder bugs first things first we're going to talk about what I don't like about this book. To be honest I think it's a little dry. I don't feel a lot of emotion with the characters. Though the characters do have a lot of Dimension to them. The problem is that when it comes to those moments that should be very emotional and very intense the author kind of falls short. You don't really feel it. Even though she writes the scene in the characters are saying things that are emotional.

But for some reason, she doesn't drag it on enough for the reader to really dwell on it and drown in those emotions. Which really latches you onto the character and she missed the mark on this. The good thing is that it didn't ruin the book but it could have been better. The only part that made me emotional was the very end of the book I'm not going to spoil it for you but something happens and there the writer did do a good job.

The Pros

On the positive, it was fun to immerse myself in this new world of dragon shifters that I have never experienced. Though I have read other books about Dragon shifters this is the first one that really took the society and the culture and really made it into something. I enjoyed the story overall it was well written there weren’t any plot holes that I could see. And you really wanted to know what would happen at the end. The Love Story between the two main characters was very nice and I really enjoyed their relationship. There was enough tension that you did enjoy their relationship and it was a bit of a slow burn... no pun intended.

One of the characters that I like in the book that you wouldn't expect is the bad guy's brother which is Nathair. I am hoping that the author writes a book about him or at least gives you more about his character. Because even though he's in the bad guy team he seems to not be a bad guy. But who knows what will happen with this character, but I can't wait to find out

I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars. The story is very gripping you want to know what is going to happen next. I do plan on reading the next book. I am desperate to find out what happens to her other sisters in the book and just How Deep The Rabbit Hole goes.

The Rogue King is a wonderful action-adventure book with a touch of sexy Romance. That'll definitely quench your paranormal but more than anything fantasy and adventure thirst.

Not going to lie it was very difficult to get past the constant talk of pussypower. There is nothing wrong with being a feminist it's just a little overdone in this book. I mean be proud of your vagina all you want. But good God I know way too much about her vagina than I care to. lol

I know it's important to love and accept your body that way you can better understand it and know when it is trying to tell you something. But the author took her message to an extreme and repeated herself quite a bit. Which really made it hard for me to get through the book.

Lisa tells the story of her journey, and that involves the story of her family which is very interesting. A lot of her family stories are very beautiful and endearing. It really feels like she's letting you into her life, which makes you feel as if the two of you are already friends.

I really enjoyed that she includes the Sabbaths in her book. The rituals for the sabits are not too complicated, they're very practical. Some authors have a tendency of making the sabbaths extremely complicated or long-winded for no reason. Lisa does not follow that standard and I love that.

She also encourages you to follow your instincts magically which is something that you also don't hear or read often. So this is a very refreshing change of pace when it comes to how to do magic or practice paganism Etc. By the end of the book, you feel like you have all the tools and instructions that you need to really embrace your divine feminine power.

I rate this book 3 out of 5 stars. Honestly, I like the book but she was way too repetitious about her feminine message and it got old really quick. That's why I'm giving her this particular score. It would have been a phenomenal book if she would have balanced out her message with maybe a little bit more humor. The good thing is that once you get past the initial first four chapters it gets better and more digestible.

I think this is an awesome book for any woman who feels disconnected from their feminine physical and spiritual body. Even if you are not born a woman I think this book can definitely help you connect with your feminine spiritual body. So I think this is good all around.

The Cons

For the most part, I have to say that the only thing that I didn't like was the first half of the book. Mainly because it just regurgitates a lot of what you're going to be reading. Also, it is giving you the same propaganda femininity that you read in a lot of metaphysical empowerment books for women. Mind you not everything she says in the first half of the book is that.

The Pros

This book was I opening on all these historical and folklore characters that have a very intricate and interesting story. I felt like if I was getting to know them and I could see and relate to a lot of what happened to them. I was very pleased that she took the time to write about toxic positivity and the law of attraction. How some people can take it to extremes and make it abusive and as a form of gaslighting. She also lets you know that it's okay if you are a different type of witch. So if you practice differently from other people there's no right or wrong way. Something that I have had an issue with for many years with other witches.

I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars. 90% of this book is amazing I loved it and it was something that I needed to read.

If you want to read something that is empowering by using feminine energy this is definitely the book for you. It doesn't overdo the whole girl power feminist agenda. But at the same time, it doesn't water down the importance of embracing that feminine power that is within you whether you are male or female.

Review

I want to preface that I loved the TV show that the book is based on. Watching the show really helped me through a very emotionally turbulent time in my life. So it has a very important place in my heart. I guess when I was reading this series, I had really high expectations. For one I really wanted the author to truly develop the characters further than the TV show. But instead, the characters were like carbon copies of the TV characters.

They didn't have much soul they just went through the motions of what their TV counterparts would do in certain situations. So for the most part the dialogue was rather stale and basic. The characters of J T and Tess don't do much they're more support characters basically. One or two little silly things happen in their lives but that's about it. As a whole, they do have an important part in the story but individually as a couple not so much.

Though I will say that the plot was very interesting I was never bored. It was intriguing enough to keep me entertained but not so much to confuse me. I really enjoyed how creative she was with the fight scenes and also the technicality and the creativity with how to escape a sinking ship. You really felt like you were there in that particular crisis.

The only character that she truly brought to life and made more than just a carbon copy of her character on the show would be Heather, Catherine's baby sister. She was relatable and you really felt for her throughout the whole entire book. She did a phenomenal job in the second book as well on writing Heather. Tess does have some cool cop action trying to save Heather. And let's be honest when it comes to Tess and Catherine, Tess is the badass cop.

I will say that she does keep true to the characters from the TV show in the book. So Vincent does act like Vincent and Catherine does do things like Catherine. I just felt like she had an opportunity to give us more. I will say though that this is the only one that has ever done anything a little bit more risque when it comes to Vincent and Catherine making love. In the last couple pages of the book, you do get to hear Vincent's thoughts of how he feels about Catherine and how she changed his life. Which is very romantic and I just really loved it. All in all, I don't really blame the author much because I'm pretty sure that she had certain restrictions on what she could and could not write about.

I rate this book 3 out of 5 stars. So I'm giving it a 3-star because like I said previously the author concentrated more on the plot than character development. It is interesting but it's like missing the heart of a book, of a story.

Overall it's not a bad book if you're interested in crime drama with some action. If that's your thing then it's not a bad book and it's a good stand-alone if you don't want to read the first two books. If you're a fan of the TV show this is basically an episode. So if you want something to give you that reminiscent feel from when you watch the show this is not bad.

Review

In the first book, the chemistry between Vincent and Catherine specifically was very dry. Which to be honest ruin the first book. This book was no different but it was a definite Improvement it was not as bad as the first book. I wish the author would have gone into more detail about how the characters felt during certain scenes. A couple of the character's storylines were changed in the book from the TV show.

So if you're an avid watcher of the show you're going to be thrown for a loop. Not a big one but still. At the end of book 2, there are some things that could transfer over to book 3 when it comes to a storyline. But considering how the author seems to be writing I highly doubt it. But who knows!

On a good note, there were more emotional romantic moments between Catherine and Vincent. To be honest, if there weren't these moments in this book it wouldn't have been as good. The plot in book 2 is way more engaging! For the most part, I really could not put the book down.

It really kept me on the edge of my seat. I truly enjoyed the character of Heather, Katherine's baby sister. The author made her way more bubbly than she is on the show. Which I didn't think was possible. I like that she makes friends with a very unlikely character. But it's so like Heather to have people gravitate to her with her bubbling nature.

I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars. Mainly because the book is actually pretty good. The storyline is linear it's not all over the place. The characters are better written and they're a little bit more true to their TV show characters. So it's not as jarring as the first book. The second book made me excited for the third and final book in the series.

I recommend this book for anybody who's a die-hard fan of the show Beauty and the Beast. Or anyone who enjoys science fiction, romance, and crime novels.

Review

I wish the author had gone into more detail about the emotional baggage that the main female character had gone through. The issues between the two main characters were resolved fairly quickly and with not much fuss. I feel the author had an opportunity to really explore the emotional depth that Ava was feeling over what happened. The sex scene wasn't as graphic as I'm used to in paranormal romances. You still felt the intensity and the sexual satisfaction from it but again I feel the author was holding back. It was good but it could have been better.

I really loved the wonderful relationship that Ava has with both her children in the book. I love how Maddox her son is so protective of his mother. Haley Ava's daughter is so innocent and cute but at the same time extremely intelligent and wise before her years. The description of Maverick's dragon is just beautiful. I mean how cool is it that his scales are black but they become iridescent when light hits it. The relationship between Ava and Maverick is very wonderful.

I enjoy how they try to make it work between them after everything and how remorseful he is over what happened years ago. You can really tell that he truly loves her and that just made me love his character. The interaction between Maverick and his Alpha dragon is just adorable. Also, his dragon is supposed to be this tough Alpha dragon but he is a puppy when he's around Ava. I mean how cute is that.

I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars. The plot is very simple and easy to follow but because of that, you don't really get a lot of intrigues. But the background story of the dragons and their mythology is very interesting, plus the character's backstory is well written. To be honest, all you really needed was that to really make the story stand out and entertaining. The story as a whole is really good and because of that, I am definitely going to continue reading the rest of the series.

I highly recommend this book for anyone who really needs a quick paranormal Romance, to satisfy their addiction. but not for somebody who really needs an in-depth fictional world.

If you're looking for a guidebook on how to read the runes this may not be the book that you're looking for. There are no meanings to the runes in the book. Also if you're very traditional when it comes to what the runes mean what they're used for and where they come from then I suggest you look elsewhere.

A lot of what the author writes is done through her own experience, not through actual scholarly papers or mythology. The book is completely geared to the feminine gender. This isn't a bad thing but if you are not a female but our transgender non-binary please understand that she uses female pronouns.

It's great that the first two chapters really goes into detail as to what to expect for the rest of the book. You're not surprised, so by the time that you get to chapter 10 you're not like "why the heck am I reading this!?"

It's also a bit of a guide to show you how to get the most out of your experience working with the runes. I love seeing that the author didn't stick to some traditional meaning of the runes. Instead, she really goes into you finding your own meaning by communing with the runes.

I enjoy that she gives you the translations to some of the poems related to the rooms. I really found it eye-opening how she shares her own experiences in communicating with her ancestors through the use of runes to heal her own feminine wounds. She even delves into working with blood magic and runes. Which is not something that you hear from most authors nowadays.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. The book is not your normal rune book. The book is well-written easy to follow and really brings a good service to the reader. By the end of the book, you do feel a sense of accomplishment. It really tries to help you out and be a better person to heal yourself.

It really diversifies how to use the rune which is something that you don't see in your standard rune books. It's also great for heavy-duty ancestral healing and Shadow work. So I recommend it for anyone who really needs to go on that dark deep Journey to clean out negative ancestral energy and that feels a calling to work with the runes.

So try to have a clear mind and focus on what you want to achieve with the Tea when you are preparing it and drinking it.

Two, go easy on the rose petals if you add too much the tea will become very bitter and you won't want to drink it. Unless you really like bitter tea which I don't think anybody does.

Last but definitely not least please be careful while taking these teas if you were pregnant or on medication

I guess I should start off by saying that this is not necessarily what I expected. I thought that this was a book about how to Divine with runes and how to use the stories of the gods in conjunction with them. So as I started reading it I was very confused but then when I figured it out it rather blew my mind. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that it's basically a whole new system of divination. With its own symbols and meaning. So to say that I was very excited is an understatement.

If you've read any of my reviews you'll know that the first couple paragraphs are what I consider to be the cons of the book and to be honest, this book is really hard to find any. I can only really think of two, firstly the first chapter talks about the alphabet and how to sound the words in Old Norse. Which is great but I'm dyslexic and yeah that was difficult. Secondly, I got this on my Kindle Fire and there are no photos so I don't know what the significator for each Gods, places, and objects are.

This is a bit of a bummer because I really want to make these divination tools. So what I'm probably going to do is go to the local bookstore and get a copy and take pictures of the significators. Obviously, this is not the fault of the author, this is just how Amazon does their Kindle books.

Now for the positives, this is a very well thought out divination system incorporating Norse mythology and gods. Within the book, you will find extensive chapters on each of the god's places and things, to better understand how to read the pieces. It is much more intricate in explaining each one than most books with other divination tools. It gives you options to change different gods and significators for each piece. You also get the standard Norse creation story which a lot of Norse books have. But it is very important and learning, it's the beginning of everything.

You don't feel as if you have to take out a dictionary to figure out what some words are and in what context he is referring to the book. So you don't feel like you have to be an English scholar to get the gist.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. Gypsy Elaine Teague created an alternative for people that don't resonate with runes but still want a connection to their Norse Magic when it comes to using divination tools. Even if you never use these pieces as a divination tool you can still learn a lot from reading this book. Because it really opens your mind to a more personal understanding of the Norse gods and their world.

How To Create Black Salt and Why You Need It

Are you feeling like regular white salt isn't cutting it when it comes to removing negativity and protecting you from unwanted entities and spells? Well, you're not alone a lot of us go through this at least once in our lives.

A good solution to this is having and knowing how to make black salt. And yes there is a difference between regular white salt and black salt.

There are two main differences, the first one is that you cannot eat black salt, not this kind of black salt anyways. Unlike white salt which is regular salt that you put in your food so you can eat it.

Secondly, white salt purifies negativity while black salt absorbs or repels negativity. So that's why it's a good idea to throw away your black salt after a couple of months maybe weeks depending on the intensity of the negativity of where you have it.

Black salt is a must-have for some of us but the best thing about it is that it's easy to make in a pinch. Most of the stuff that you need you already have and if not you can improvise. Because of this, it's one of the magical items that I have always on hand.

You Will Need:

A Mortar and Pestle
A Mixing Bowl
Sea Salt (you can use regular table salt if you prefer)
Charcoal (use activated charcoal powder or Instant Light)
Incense ashes (You can use the ash of incense that you empowered before I burned.)
A pinch of organic black pepper (optional but it gives it a good kick)

Take your mixing bowl and add the salt, Ash and a pinch of pepper (if you'd like.) Remember not to overdo it with the ash or you'll just have gray salt.

Then take the coal and place them in the mortar and pestle and begin to grind coal until it becomes a black powder. Now a little goes a long way so you don't have to grind that much coal to darken the salt.

Once you are done grinding the coal into a powder added to the rest of the mixture in the bowl and make sure that it is blended together well. Then place the mixture into a container of some sort to keep it from collecting moisture and then use it as you may need it.

Ways to use black salt!

Have some under your pillow or bed to avoid negative dreams nightmares and unwanted spirits to visit at night.
Add some around door thresholds and windows to keep out evil spirits and unwanted people.
Sprinkle some in bath water to help with depression, negative thoughts, anger, and other negative emotions. (disclaimer this is not a cure for mental illness and it is not a substitute for therapy.)
Sprinkle some on a paper where you have written things that you want to get rid of in your life. Then burn paper in a safe fireproof container.
Sprinkle on the footsteps of people that you want out of your life.
Add some to your floor wash or cleaning solution for your home to remove negativity.

So as you can see there are many reasons and ways to use black salt on a regular basis that could be beneficial for anyone. So be creative there's no right or wrong way on how to use it. But please remember that black salt is very good when you really feel that you are being oppressed spiritually and you need that extra kick.

On a daily basis, it's not necessary because it's just a little too much and too intense. But when you are really feeling intense negativity in your life black salt really helps out a lot. I hope this information helps you out to get out of a negative funk or something worse.

Norse Magic is a book for practicing Wiccan's who want to incorporate Norse Magic or Norse tradition into your practice without changing your religion. It is a comprehensive guideline where you can find all the basics with a Norse twist.

Review

It's physically very small so it's kind of hard to flip through pages. Not necessarily judging the book by its cover but judging it by its size, it's small. The impression the book gives is comical or novelty. Because of this, the book does not look like a serious religious book.

Secondly, if you're interested in Norse religions such as heathenry this is probably not the book for you. As stated in the summary it's specifically made for people who are Wiccan or follow a similar Wiccan tradition who want to incorporate some Norse flavor in their practice but still be Wiccan.

This is an excellent book if you want to learn about Norse spirituality to incorporate into your Wiccan practices. It shows you step-by-step how to combine the two together in a seamless way. It gives good explanations of each of the Gods and creatures in Norse mythology. With a good list of what they are all associated with, how to give offerings, poetry, and chants that you can use in your day-to-day life.

It really goes into everything that you will need to understand if you are a Wiccan wants to Branch out a little. If you have a paperback version of the book is very small so you can take it with you everywhere you go. It even goes into spellwork that is very similar to Wiccan spell work but adds rune and other Norse flavors.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. It blends both NorseMythology and Magic seamlessly with Wiccan traditions. It really helps you open up your eyes to different possibilities and different traditions.

I really recommend this book if you really love Vikings and Norse culture and want to incorporate their mythology and spirituality into your Wiccan practice.

How To Tell If Your House Is Haunted

Can you imagine coming home or to your place of work and feeling as if you're being watched? Are sensing cold spots that move or strange smells that you don't know where they're coming from? Well if things like this are happening to you keep reading because it could answer some questions.

Earlier this month I wrote a blog post about how to set up your Samhain altar. The blog post was mostly about how to commune and honor your deceased loved one. The reason for this is because the veil between the living and the dead is very thin.

This means that spirit communication, ghosts, and hauntings are more prevalent during this time. In this blog post, I'm going to give you some tips so you can better differentiate whether what you are experiencing is Paranormal or just the wind.

Last but not least before we start if one thing is occurring typically I wouldn't say that it's a haunting but if a good chunk of all of these things is happening at once then you have something.

It's Not The Wind

When I was living with my ex-husband and his mom's house they had this old-looking rocking chair that would rock on its own with no one around it and no open windows no fan no air conditioner on. To say that it was creepy is an understatement.

That's what I mean by it's not the wind. The best thing to do in this situation is check if there is a window open, if the air conditioner is hitting said object or if the mere vibration of you being in the room or something within that nature is making it move.

Somebody's Watching Me

Every time that I sit down to write this part, I think of the song Somebody's Watching Me by Rockwell. But when it comes to a place being haunted this is definitely something that can happen. The feeling or sensation of somebody staring at you or not being alone in a room.

Typically it's the sensation of somebody being behind you like having the hairs on the back of your neck stand. If this and other things are happening to you on this list then I would suggest getting some sort of cleansing. But if not then look at other avenues like gas leaks or Electric magnetic fields in your home or place of work.

Not Where You Left It

Now before we go all crazy and think that our house is haunted because we misplaced the remote, make sure that if you have children to ask them if they have taken the object. But it is widely known that Spirits have a tendency of taking objects and putting them in other places.

Usually, these objects were things that they used and were familiar with while they were living. So if this is a recurring issue in your house I would suggest making a list of what goes missing and where it reappears. If there is a pattern then you just might have something to worry about if not it's probably just you being forgetful.

Home History

I cannot stress this enough the history of a home is very important and can determine the overall energy. So if things are happening in your house that sounds or feels weird I would suggest looking up the history. Has anybody died, has any kind of tragedy occurred in the home?

Sometimes you might not find anything but that doesn't mean that nothing has ever happened. It just means nobody's ever documented it. So if you can't find anything like in the newspapers or obituaries Etc. I would suggest you speak to the previous owners.

Floating Voices

Now if you were like me when I first heard the term floating voices I was like "what the heck". But the term basically means voices that have no source. They're not coming from a particular direction. I have heard floating voices and it is truly creepy. It can be very disorienting because you don't know where the voice is coming from. You don't know if the voice is coming from your head or if it's an actual sound.

But before you start believing that you have ghosts in your house make sure that you don't have mice in your attics or raccoons. Also, do you live with a wall that is connected to another living quarter? It can be that your next-door neighbor is just loud or has the TV on.

Your Pet Knows Best

Now as a previous pet owner I know that cats and dogs and other pets have a tendency of causing a ruckus at times. Don't get me wrong, I love my little fur babies. Animals are known for sensing things that the human eye sometimes can't see.

If you believe that your house is haunted and you have a pet pay attention to their behavior. Are they barking or playing as if somebody is with them when they're actually alone? Do they refuse to go into a room that by all accounts is nothing for them to be afraid of? These are all behaviors of a pet that is noticing or sensing a spirit or entity in your home.

It's Cold Here and There

Spirits use energy to manifest themselves and any kind of act that they want to do. That being said that's why the room or an area of your house may be colder because that is the area that they are taking the energy from. And if you know anything about energy, it creates heat so they are sucking the energy or the heat out of a room.

But before you assess that this is the case please take into account the ventilation in your room and the fact that that room may have better insulation which holds the cold better. So make sure that you did all of this before you assume that it is a spirit that is taking energy from this particular area. Another type of cold spot is a cold spot that actually moves because it's the spirit actually moving in different parts of the house.

Seeing Shadows

Have you ever been minding your own business and all of a sudden you see a shadowy figure in the corner of your eye? If so you're not the only one, I have had experiences like that throughout my life. The one that I can recall the most was being in a friend's house and going to the bathroom but the bathroom door had disappeared, it was covered in complete darkness. To say that I was a little creeped out was is an understatement. Later on, I found out that one of the previous owners, a little old lady had died right at the door to the bathroom.

Paranormal experts don't know what shadow people are but there are reports of this phenomenon throughout history in different cultures and different times. Some people think that they are the manifestation of negativity that has been leftover from years of not-so-nice people being around. But there's really no definitive answer to what they are.

So if you have an experience with a shadow person and you feel this negativity or the sense of unease know that that is very common. Make sure that if this does happen that it's not a trick of lighting or anything in that nature. But typically you'll know because of how it makes you feel.

So those are eight things that you can look out for to find out if you're home or a place is haunted. But before you start calling Ghost Hunters remember to try to debunk everything that you're experiencing. Follow your gut instincts but also use common sense while doing this. Because in the end, it could just be the wind.

Review

First things first I really would have liked more backstory on the chain that Myst has around her waist. It is mystically enchanted but we don't know much about it just that whoever possesses it can controller. Besides that the only other thing we know is that she had an I'm not so favorable encounter with another God and that's why she got it but it's very vague.

Now I understand that this is the first book in the series technically speaking so the author has not flushed out all her characters yet so Nix isn't as fucknuts as she normally is. So it doesn't have that Whimsical magic that Nix brings to the table in the books.

I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars. For years I've been a fan of Kresley Cole's books specifically The Immortals after dark series. This particular year I decided to read the very first book which is this one. So it's definitely long overdue. I must say that this book did not disappoint me. It has Kresley Cole's energy and writing style written all over it.

Even though she still hasn't flushed out through characters and that's okay that's to be expected. The only reason I'm giving it 4 stars and not 5 is that it wasn't very epic in the sense that it didn't move me that emotionally.

This is a great book if you want to read a quick stand-alone and don't want to have the need to commit to a long series. But still, want that intense Romance with a little bit of urban fantasy.

How to Set Up Your Samhain Altar

The nights get longer the days get shorter the wind gets chillier, the leaves start to fall and winter is looming. This is the time of year where the earth goes into hibernation.

It's the time of the year that for a lack of a better term the Earth dies. In ancient times people realize this and they also noticed that the veil between the living and the dead is very thin.

They use this time of the year to communicate with their deceased loved ones. To know if their crops were going to grow next season if they were going to be safe for the winter, and to reconnect with old loved ones that have been gone.In return giving them offerings and gifts of their favorite food and drinks.

Over the centuries this time of year has become Halloween October 31, where we dress up as monsters and sexy cheerleaders as we go house to house asking for candy. But for centuries this holiday was called Samhain and some of us till this day still celebrate this holiday to honor the Dead and to communicate with them.

In this blog post, I'm going to help you out creating your ancestor Altar for Samhain. Now there's no hard-fast rule and how you're supposed to do this but think of it more as me giving you ideas. I also did another blog post a couple of years ago on how to do a Dumb Supper so if you're interested go check that out. You might be able to add something from there as well from what I'm telling you here.

Pick Your Colors

Now when it comes to color Samhain is known for the stereotypical Halloween colors which are black, purple, orange but you can also add dark Reds such as burgundy. These colors are all seen in nature during this time period, that's why they are associated with this holiday.

Symbols of Samhain or Death

The symbols of Samhain typically are symbols of the Fall Harvest and death. My advice is to be creative and select the things that really resonate with you. Never put anything on your altar that you don't feel comfortable with. So things such as:

Pumpkin
Yellow Red and Orange Maple Leaves
Pine Cones
Skulls Human and/or Animal (Remember this is just to symbolize death it doesn't have to be real, it can be fake.)
Corn
Apples
Straw Man
Acorns and Nuts
Cauldron

Samhain Food

Traditional Samhain food is actually some of the most delicious food I have ever had. It's easy to find in the grocery stores, it's already packaged and made. If by any chance you're like me and don't have the convenience of having an oven. But if you happen to love baking this holiday has some amazing recipes and traditional foods that will keep you on your toes and your tummy full. These are some of these delicious foods:

Pumpkin pie
Anything apples
Cider
Roasted meats
Root vegetables
Dark wine
Wheat Bread

Your Beloved Ones

Now for some of you that don't know what are your beloved ones, there are the family members, friends, and ancestors that have passed on. Since this is the day that we honor them the most, it is customary to have something that symbolizes them on your alter this could be a picture, an object that was theirs, or something that just reminds you of them.

For many years I would use my father's photo to represent him but there was one year where I could not display his photo. So I used his Toyota Tacoma car key. It didn't lessen the connection that I had with him just because it wasn't a photo. So do what you can with what you know and have of the person that you would like to honor and reconnect with.

Offerings

Just like many other cultures during this time it is customary to give an offering to your beloved ones during this time of year. Now, I would suggest that you give them biodegradable offerings and gifts. Such as a small portion of food or drink that was their favorite thing to eat. For instance, my father really loved Little Debbie cakes, Cuban-style red or black bean soup, and or a tiny little cup of Cuban coffee. Those are the typical offerings that I give to him during this time.

This doesn't have to be food it could be other objects as well. Such as if they were smokers you can give them a cigarette. You don't have to light it you can just leave it right over or next to what you are using to symbolize them. The reason that you use biodegradable objects as offerings is that typically the day after Samhain you take the offerings that you gave to your beloved ones and take them into the Earth. So keep in mind that your offerings should be safe to put back into the Earth.

I hope that everything that I've given you guys in this blog post will help you create the perfect Samhain ancestor Altar for the holidays. I really hope that you will be creative and put a lot of love into the making.

He puts his Beast abilities to the test to find Catherine's father and dodge the police. They will find themselves in a tangle of webs where they have to face their past and put their love to the test.

Review

To begin with there are a lot of different plots here. The story felt as though multiple angles were hard to follow. I feel like there weren't enough Catherine and Vincent moments in the story. We don't get enough alone time with them and the chemistry was kind of lacking. Also if you didn't watch the show you might not get some of the nuances of some of the characters and what they do. I also noticed that the author may have never seen the show and just got a synopsis of what the show was about.

The reason I say this is because she wrote that Vincent actually loved his deceased ex-girlfriend Tori. Which if you've watched the show you know that is not the case. He never loved her, he felt sorry for her and she needed guidance. Yes, the other reason was that the pheromones that she would produce attracted him, and he also wanted to get back at Catherine for shooting him.

Then you have Gabe's Side Story I guess you could call it that. It makes no sense because what happens in the book doesn't translate or travels over to the TV show. So it's completely useless. Last but not least the love scene is very dull. I was kind of hoping for something a little bit more scandalous, considering it was a book.

Obviously, you get your beauty and the beast addiction fulfilled. Considering that the show has been canceled for several years now. There are some really cute scenes with JT and Tess that I really enjoyed. Particularly because you don't see them having these moments as much on the show as I would have liked.

Even though there aren't that many romantic scenes with cat and Vincent, they are nice when you do get them. They're not as great as I'd like them to be or as epic as I would imagine them to be but they're still nice. Once you get the hang of what's really going on and who's who in the book it actually starts getting good plot-wise. I will say if the book was not connected to a TV show and had been just something that the author created, completely original the book would have been much better

I rate this book 3 out of 5 stars. The only reason I'm giving this book a score of 3 is first the plot is all over the place. So I had a hard time getting into the story itself and two Vincent never love Tori. Since it's a book, I expected more scenes that you wouldn't have or couldn't have in a TV show. Such as a more intense and or detailed love scene.

I recommend this book if you love science fiction, romance, and classic fairy tale retelling. The best thing is that it is a quick read and it's standalone. So you don't have to read the other two books to get the full story.

Review

Can we please talk about how arrogant and self-righteous the Valkyries are? Because oh my God, it is something that I can't stand but it makes their character all the better at the same time. Throughout the whole entire book, Kaderin is ignorant of Sebastian's intelligence and wisdom, which really stops her from seeing the real him for a while.

Her attraction to Sebastian is little to non-existent and then all of a sudden she's madly in love with them. I really wish there was more of Nix's character in this book but beggars can't be choosers. The plot and setting of the book are well written with very good detail. You really feel immersed in the world and at times I felt like I was holding my breath to see what would happen. The plot never slow down or speed up it was a good steady stream.

Sebastian's background story is adorable you really want him to succeed in getting Kaderin to fall in love with him because of it. His character is not just strong and gorgeous but he's very smart which adds to his overall attractiveness. When both Sebastian and Kaderin you think it's going to be a cut and dry story but it's so nice.

Meeting him really changes her life and she's not sure if it is for the better or for the worse so she has to really figure it out before she can open herself up to him. And with every chapter, their story becomes more dangerous and you're not sure if this is helping my relationship or hurting their relationship. Which really keeps you guessing and how this is going to end up in a happily ever after.

I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars. I'm giving this book before rating because even though it's an awesome book well-written I just can't stand how valkyrie can be sometimes. Even though my favorite character in the book series happens to be a valkyrie didn't get annoying.

I really recommend this book if you want to read a paranormal romance that has a very in-depth and well-created world. A world where it's just as interesting as the main characters. Where the characters are relatable regardless of their species. Where the characters have amazing chemistry and steamy love scenes that are not too dirty but just dirty enough.

Review

Unlike most of Kresley Cole's books, this story is rather simple. It is not as in-depth or complicated. It feels more like a novella than an actual full-length novel. Because of that it kind of lags in the middle but not for long. So if you've read her other books and expect the usual, you might be a little disappointed but it's a good book. But I will say that this is the first full novel that she wrote, before this she had only written a novella so let's give her a little slack.

God, I love the character of Nïx. But how couldn't you not, she's funny and crazy. She is a fairy godmother playing chess with the main characters throughout the whole entire book and I love it.

I enjoyed the slow process of Lachlain and Emmaline falling in love with each other, it didn't feel forced it was very natural. Once you gradually get to the sex scene you don't feel disappointed. It's well-written and she really takes time with the scene. You don't feel cheated.

Emmaline Is very relatable, you feel that she could be somebody that you know or even yourself. I love how Kresley Cole describes Laughlin he is magnificent yet flawed. He's also an endearing character, once you get to know him you really feel for him. The characters are well-written with distinctive personalities and depth.

I rate this book 5 out of 5 stars. It quenches my paranormal romance thirst. But I normally feel that way with all of Kresley Cole's books specifically this series. I have a strong connection with the main character of Emmaline.

Specifically, because she reminds me so much of myself. Especially in my younger years. it's really an all-around good book with a good passionate love story that'll keep you wanting to read more of Kresley Cole's books.

This is an amazing book if you really love paranormal romance. It is a good standalone book. So you don't have to feel obligated to read the rest, even though it is part of a series by Kresley Cole. It is short enough that you can read in a day and get your thirst for paranormal romance quenched.

For many years I have been a tarot card reader and in that time I've searched for beautiful and unique tarot cards. And these particular cards fall under those two categories.

When I finally purchased them on Amazon I had every intention of creating a YouTube video right away. But as usual, life gets in the way and they sat on my bookshelf for a couple of maybe months without being open collecting dust. Until now, let's see what Beauties this particular Tarot deck has to offer. Are you excited because I am?!

Packaging

It comes in a hefty box with the judgment card on the front plus the author and artist names. It has a magnetic opening on the side which makes it very fancy-looking.

The box has this beautiful cobalt blue color with the pattern of stars and cat paws. On the inside, once you open it is a light mustard yellow with cat paws and Stars once again. How cute is that!

The first thing you see when you open the box is the book that explains all the cards and this is a pretty thick book in comparison to the traditional little white book.

Beneath the book are the tarot cards that are nicely wrapped in plastic. The box is so well made that you can actually store the deck and the book comfortably. Especially if you don't want to buy a drawstring bag or box specifically to store your Tarot deck.

Guidebook

The deck comes with a 252 page guidebook. Which is a lot for a Tarot deck guidebook. Unlike the traditional little white book, this has a plethora of pages. The pages are filled with tons of information about basic knowledge on how to conduct a tarot card reading, what the tarot is and how to use them.

As well as a paragraph or two about the author and artist. To my surprise, it also comes in color usually guidebooks come in black and white but here you get to see the full color spectrum as you learn each card.

At the end of every definition of each of the cards, there is a page for you to write what feelings up towards the card. Similar if not the same to a tarot Journal. The only thing I don't like about the book is that the pages are printed on very glossy paper. And because of this ink does not hold on to that kind of paper really well. So if you are going to use it as a tarot journal it would be best to use a permanent marker.

The Deck

The cards come in 2 3/4" x 4 5/8" measurements so they're easy to handle and hold while shuffling. The finish on the cards is semi-gloss which I prefer to be honest. And the card stock is decent not too thick and not too flimsy. So you know that they can last you a good amount of time and withstand many readings. The artwork and coloring of the cards are very beautiful and bright.

Unfortunately for those of you that read reversals, these cards cannot be reverse. And what I mean by that is that they have a photo in the back that is easily noticeable if it happens to be reverse. The design is a cobalt blue background, with yellow stars, a witch hat with a broom, and a cute black cat. Which makes it more of a deck that I really love because it's such a cute design.

The Major Arcana

In this particular deck, the Major Arcana doesn't necessarily have the traditional look to the Rider Waite deck but does have the same message on each of the cards.

There's a dark hooded person with a sword cutting a rope but in the back, there are two doors one is closing and the other is opening. This illustrates the death card quite perfectly where I don't think the rider Waite ever did.

The Minor Arcana

When it comes to the Minor Arcana in this deck it is just as beautiful and intricately done as the Major Arcana. But I feel like it has a more mundane everyday look to it and some of it looks like modern-day time when some of them look as though they're in a different time period.

That doesn't affect how I read the cards but for some of you, it could be a little bit jarring if you really like uniformity. The only thing about the Minor Arcana that I do not like at all but have gotten used to is that the aces look like pages. Which if you are a tarot card reader like myself it can be a little bit confusing at first.

Final Thoughts

I may be partial to this opinion but I really love colorful decks. So for me, this deck is very beautiful and really sparked some whimsy when you use it.

Also, something that was brought to my attention is that you don't have to be a witch to use this particular Tarot deck. Regardless of it having the name witch on them. I definitely recommend it if you are a tarot card reader and you want to use something other than the rider Waite.

But if you're new to tarot card readings I think that this deck is okay for you to learn. It's not that far from the original Rider Waite that you wouldn't be able to understand the traditional meanings from them.

To be honest, they actually remind me a little bit of the Modern Witch Tarot, so if you like that deck this one could also be one for you.

4 Easy Steps on How to Create a Psi Ball

Psi Ball

Have you ever wondered if you have psychic abilities or how to use them? That's how I felt a couple years ago. I mean who doesn't want to see the future or talk to spirits? That would be cool, you'd be such a badass.

Luckily for you, I had a friend who taught me how to develop my psychic abilities. One of the cool little things that she taught me was how to create an energy ball called a Psi Balls.

Now you must be wondering what the heck is a Psi Ball? Well for lack of a better term, it's a ball of energy that protrudes out from the palms of your hands. Doesn't sound too impressive, now does it?

That's what I thought at first but then my friend informed me that I can put a suggestion or intention into the energy and throw it in the direction where I want something to manifest.

So instead of going and collecting herbs, candles, oils, and the gods only know what else to cast a spell, I can just do a Psi Ball. Technically it's kind of like a quick fix. Specifically, if you don't have time to do a full-on ritual to cast a spell. Which is very convenient especially when you're on the move.

Obviously, it does not replace full-on spell-casting but it sure helps. So in a way it kind of kills two birds with one stone. You can do quickie manifesting and work on your psychic awareness by using Psi Ball.

One of the ways that I found that I can use it on a daily basis is to help my mother with her PTSD and anxiety. By creating a Psi Ball and placing it on her shoulder or back. By putting all the energy of peace, love, and relaxation into it. This typically helps her calm down and not have as many issues with her PTSD and anxiety.

Obviously, this does not cure her of anything but it does make it more bearable for her. Considering that she refuses to take any medication or see a therapist. So in this post, we are going to go into creating and different ways of using Psi Ball.

What are some of the ways and reasons for using a Psi Ball? Well here are some of them.

Creating a Magic Circle

This is actually really simple once you create one in your palms. Just expand it, make it larger so that it encompasses the surroundings that you're planning on working in.

Obviously just like any magic circle you put the intent of blocking out negative energy so your space can be positive for whatever you're working on.

Spell Work

Placing energy with intent into objects. Such as casting a spell, such as candle magic, create a ball, and place it into the candle with the intent of what you want to manifest with that candle.

It's not necessary but it definitely gives an extra boost to your working. You can also do the exact same thing with objects like amulets, sigils Etc.

Emotional and Mental Turmoil.

Last but not least you can use it to calm someone down especially if they're in distress it helps. Specifically, they're having outbursts of anger and difficulties with anxiety. It could definitely bring someone some peace of mind.

Here are the basics on how to make Psi Balls

Relax

I think relaxing is kind of a given but you'd be surprised how many times people can't seem to relax when they're trying to do something new.

So my suggestion is to sit down somewhere where you can just not be bothered by anyone. That way you can really concentrate but at the same time do it at your own pace. If you need relaxing music incense to set the mood do so.

Ground

The next most important thing for you to do is to ground and Center. Which isn't that hard really all you have to do is sit down somewhere comfortable and just be aware that you are connected to the Earth.

To help you out with that while you're sitting down visualize energy coming out of your tailbone and wrapping itself into the ground like the roots of a tree. It's really that simple.

Recognize

Psi is energy and can be sensed as a magnetic force, that energy exists within you and flows through your body all the time.

Place one hand over the other across the chest palms facing each other. Then imagine a bright light "energy" coming from the ground going up your body and out your hands.

Try to see if you can feel in the palms of your hands a tingling sensation of some sort, if not that's okay it takes time. But imagine the energy collecting between your hands and the forming of a ball.

This can be a large ball or a small ball. It's really up to your imagination.

Have fun

At this point, if you desire to manifest something, take the energy ball in your hands and add the emotion or desire you want to achieve.

This can be done by either adding your emotion/will to the energy that is already in the ball and then simply throw it out to the universe.

Though I've always used energy during spells and rituals, I've never really used it in practical day-to-day quite like this. I must say it gets the job done, depending on how much energy you use.

I've even started placing an energy ball around myself while I am conducting a tarot card reading.

By doing this it helps me concentrate on the reading because all other energies that could disturb me are not allowed to cross the energy ball. Because of this it has really enhanced my reading capabilities and focuses.

Have you ever felt like you are kind of in a funk? Like things just weren't feeling right?

You work out, you eat right, and take your vitamins. But no matter what you feel like if you are missing something. Trust me you're not the only one I was there myself. To be honest, what really works for me is doing a calming ritual bath. Now, what is a ritual bath In modern-day time?

It's not for physically washing your body but rather for affecting change in your life by being immersed in waters that are infused with a purpose. It can be used to cleanse yourself of negative energy or re-energize your body and spirit.

But ritual baths have been used since ancient times to cleanse people of evil spirits, illnesses, and a myriad of other reasons. It's been used by countless different cultures and spiritual paths. But you don't have to be a witch or practice metaphysical beliefs, you just have to have the right mindset and relax.

First things first the benefits:

1. Increases your level of relaxation and decreases stress from day-to-day life.

2. Removes negative energy that has been given to you whether consciously or subconsciously by someone.

3. Increases your spiritual and psychic awareness.

4. Prepares your mind, body, and soul to conduct rituals

All right! Let's get down to the nitty-gritty.

What is the purpose?

Do you want to do this to cleanse yourself of negative energy that you've collected? Or do you want to get rid of the funk of an ex-boyfriend that you might still be holding on to?

Figure it out and then you can decide what is your next plan of action.

Have a clean tub!

There's nothing like taking a beautiful spiritual Instagram-worthy bath with soap scum coming to the surface of your water…..Gross

Now, this might be a given for some of you but others maybe not, and that is, clean your tub. Who wants to get into a bath when the tub is not clean.

Scrub it, make sure that it is nice and clean. You don't want it to be dirty whatsoever. If not you can easily get an infection especially if you have a cut on your body.

Take a shower first!

There's nothing like taking a nice lovely bath in your own dirty juices. Do you want to get a UTI? No, then take a bath!

Plus in some cultures when they are going to do ritual baths they normally take a shower first. Remember hygiene first.

Select your ingredients

Depending on what the purpose of your ritual bath is for, you should select the herbs that you feel are necessary for your goal.

For instance, if your goal is to seek self-love then you can use rows and lavender. Just choose what suits your needs but remember not to overdo it. Basically a little goes a long way.

I also suggest that you use a drawstring bag of some, a Muslim is great if you can find one or something like it.

The reason for this is you don't want a bunch of loose herbs and plant material all in your bathtub. Specifically, If you don't want it to clog up your bathtub or go up a certain body part.

The only time that I would recommend having loose herb in the tub would be if it is a large piece such as a large leaf or rose petal.

Last but definitely not least. Make sure that whatever it is that you're using is safe to use against the skin. There are some herbs that yes magically can achieve the goal that you want but can cause irritation and can even maybe poison you.

So please be careful and do your research.

Another thing that should be added but is not necessary is bath salts. They are really great for the body, it helps improve hydration Decrease inflammation and other health benefits.

Plus it helps cleanse a lot of negativity and unnecessary energies. Specifically, if you are preparing for a very important ritual.

You can also use bath oils if you want it to be very fragrant obviously pick the oil that suits your goal or purpose.

Now we come to the ambiance!

Now the aesthetic of what your back looks like is very important because it puts you in the right mindset to conduct the magical Act that is taking a bath.

One of the things that you could do is add music candles incense. Not all of these things could have a deeper meaning related to the goal or intention that you want to achieve.

So again if your intention is self-love maybe you want to burn some Rose incense, pink candles, crystals, and or have music that's inspiring about loving yourself and giving yourself the respect that it means Etc.

It's a fun part of a ritual bath because you get to be creative with the whole process.

Now know that at no point do you need to have all these things or more to reach your goal but it definitely helps put you in the right mood.

Taking your bath

Now during the actual bath itself, it's recommended that you immerse yourself completely so head and hair going under. But to be honest I don't necessarily do that.

You can just grab some of it with your hand and trickle it onto the top of your head. It acts the same way and you don't have to go under if you are not comfortable.

At this time just relax and take it easy. Feel the energy of the herbs end or other ingredients that you're using and them working on your body and your spiritual body.

This is an excellent moment to meditate or visualize what you want to achieve. You can also chant or say prayers that are geared to achieve your goal.

This is a chant I use in case I feel sick or want to get rid of some negative energy that makes me feel bad whether physically, mentally, or emotionally.

"The sickness is flowing out of me, Into the water, down to the sea."

Or just relax and don't stress it. Because you've already done all the work by putting everything together.

This is the part where overthinking and stressing over if you put in the right amount of herbs or if you use too much or too little bath salts, can really block the energy that you are trying to either remove or get your body ready.

Afterward

What most people ask at this point is how long do I need to do my ritual bath? The answer to that is however long you'd like. You can stay in the bath until the water gets cold or until your fingers get wrinkly.

It's really up to you, just as long as you feel that you have accomplished your goal for the back, that's what's important.

Once you decide it's time for you to get out of the bath, you could air dry if you like. In certain cultures, they insist that you air-dry the Bathwater off your skin and not towel dry. But to be honest depending on what climate that you live in that might not be physically healthy.

Once you figure out which method you're going to use, start putting away all of your things. Such as crystals candles or any other thing that you use that doesn't belong in your bath.

At that point, you’re basically done. Now you can just go about your day and do whatever it was that you were planning to do afterward whether it be a ritual or go to work or stay at home and read a book and it's up to you.

A ritual bath has a lot of power to help rejuvenate anything and anyone, but just like with anything in witchcraft it's all about being creative and unique.

So even though I have given you the basic steps to conducting a ritual bath it's still open to your interpretation and desires. So please be creative make it your own and flourish as a witch.
