You can imagine my embarrassment when I realized what they were talking about! But no one will make the same mistake nowadays as viral marketing is one of the best ways to sell your products and raise awareness of anything under the sun that you want to.

A few viral marketing campaigns have gone on to be really world famous and there are several more that are popping up every day. But how does a viral marketing campaign work and do you want to know? Researchers have also referred to the process as word of mouth publicity or creating a buzz around something that has not yet been released. But will that traffic convert?  Where is that traffic coming from…??? Shoot, I can go hire a few folks in India to hit a website with a bunch of different IP addresses and VOILA – instant traffic that does SQUAT for YOUR Business!

The guaranteed website traffic service providers state that they will be able to generate a targeted amount of traffic to your website in a given duration. They also state that they would use the latest technology in generating traffic to your website.

If generating traffic to websites was so easy, then why will different websites have different ranks on the search engine listings?

Each webmaster can easily sign up with a web traffic generating service and get the maximum desired amount of traffic to their website! Does that put an end to the problem of increasing traffic to your website? Does getting thousands of website visitors or maximum number of clicks or more page views define increased traffic to your website?
