My precious mummy passed away on 25th April 2010. She was my girlfriend, sister and mum all rolled into one and I can't find the words to express how much I miss her. She was a wonderful woman and a well known Gospel Singer. I learned so much from her and she was a wonderful reflection of the love of God whom she loved and worshipped. When my dad passed away in 2006 Mum really felt she'd lived a full and happy life and just talked about the day she would join dad.

During her short illness BCGC came and sang outside the little chalet she lived in at the rear of our house - it was like a scene from Dr Quinn Medicine Woman! My mum was utterly thrilled by her private concert and she died peacefully in her sleep just 3 days later.

I never knew a time in my life when both she and my dad failed to encourage and support me and I'm so thankful to God that Mum lived to see the creation of BCGC and hear the choir in concert. She described the choir as "breathtaking"!

The bible instructs us to 'HONOUR OUR FATHER AND OUR MOTHER" and so I honour ALEX AND MARGARET LEEBODY and thank God for blessing me with such fabulous parents.
