Is it true that Marie Digby is in The Grammy Nominees 2009 as well? Well, I am not sure about this. However, the possibility is there. I know the fact that there are bunch of people out there who have not even came across her name, yet. I still remember few months ago when I was asked by one of my clicks about what do I blogged about. I simply tell them - "Marie Digby!" ( in a tone as thought as they know who I am referring to), but they went - "Huh? Come Again?" or as short as "Who?!". Gosh. This is the reality. No matter how good she might be, she's still too young in the so-called-glamorous world compared to other singers whose their name bloom up high in the sky out of no where like Miley Cyrus and The Jonas Brothers.

However, do you still remember who have been awarded as the New Artist for The 200* Grammy Award? He is one and only Ledisi, guys! Have not heard of him before? Well, don't worry because I haven't too. You see, the academy voters have decided to give it to the artist who are completely unknown or unfamous by 95 percent of the general public! So, who knows... Marie Digby might be the one for The 2009 Grammy Award? Hehe. You can search for the nominees here.

I have nothing to say about the other nominees for The Grammy Nominees 2009 , but the Jonas Brothers would certainly not getting my nod. I mean, yeah... they are all hot, cute.. in fact, I have a little crush on Joe! (Ops, don't hit me girls!) But, not to an extend to be awarded. Face the truth, people! There are lots of better singer compared to the Jonas Brothers. I have Jason Marz and Gavin Degraw in my list. Just go to Youtube, watch and LISTEN to their voice. They are way much better compared to the Jonas Brothers. I didn't mean they are not good, but they have not reach that level, YET. Know some of you might hit me on this, but this is what I think. And I won't charge people to agree on what I am thinking. So, I don't bother whether you agree with me, or not. *peace!*

This video reveals a piece of Marie Digby's secret. hehe... She loves a rock star! Guys, you should be practising on your voice and guitar skills ya!

I played a show in Richmond, Virginia a few days ago.. I had some time to kill before the show so I decided to find an empty room at the venue to do a video.
I walked all around the building until I found what looked to be a former nursery or children's room. It was a little creepy but it had a great echo.. and no, I did not add any reverb to this video ! It's all because of the high ceilings and hard wood floors.
So here's a bit of my original song' voice on the radio'.. hope you enjoy :)

.... Several years ago... I fell in love with the lead singer of a rock band. I went to see a show and there was something about his voice, his songs, his demeanor that completely captivated me. I wrote this song about the way it felt to stand amongst a bunch of screaming girls who were basically willing to do anything to get this guys attention.. and feeling so stupid ... stupid enough that I turned and went home and decided instead to write a song that exactly described what it felt like to knowingly fall for someone I don't even know - knowing that's ridiculous - but not being able to deny the feeling nonetheless ....

Yippie! Another new song of Marie Digby!

I've been playing this while out on tour and it's received such great responses from you all that I decided to do a video for youtube!

The story goes - I had a very dear friend who lived out here in Los Angeles. We did just about everything together for the few years she lived out here in L.A. Then one day, she vanished. Not a phone call, ... not a word about where she went and why. Still haven't heard from her ... So this is my letter to her.

PS - I did another video of this with my guitarist (lance) while in Japan but there were bugs in the trees that were making so much noise, they almost overpower the music! I might still put it up.. just for fun. what do you think?

Hehe.. I know I'll grab your attention! But seriously, I am not blaffing! Marie Digby will be our tourist guide for a virtue trip to Japan! Isn't that sweet?

I have so many random videos that I just don't have the time to edit together.. so i'm going to just start posting them randomly !! wee ;)

As many of you might know.. I've been in Japan for about two weeks now and I've been running around this country promoting my japanese album !!! It's been a lot of hard work which is totally worth it.. and pretty fun ;)

I'll try and upload a video a day for a bit.. even if it's just a short clip. You'll probably get a little taste of what japan's like !
