Just in case you are wondering how the ring will look like alone – without two side rings the main ring feels lighter, but it still looks glamorous because of its big black crystal. Black gold enhance the dark shine of the stone itself.

However, I prefer to stack the rings, because I love the bold and rich black look, and also because that’s how the set was designed in the first place. It’s one of those statement rings that doesn’t feel heavy on my finger.

It happens not that often when I like all colours of a collection, but this one is an exception. I’m sure I’ll be using these shades for nail designs, plus the polishes look great in combos. Now, let me show you them one by one. In the pic above we have DL STEP 13 and STEP 18, and below I paired STEP 14 and 17:

The bright blue is well pigmented, and it looks truly amazing! DL STEP 15:

Also, I liked this vivid purple very muchly! The item’s number is 16:

Their own finish is super glossy and truly gel like, no top coat needed. I don’t have much experience with gel polishes, but I remember gels looked really shiny. These six STEP colours look like gel on the nails, but they don’t need to be cured in a UV or LED lamp. So they are even better than gel imho :) As for the staying power – the STEP polishes won’t hold up over a week like gel polish would, but you’ll get about 2-3 days of wear before you get chips, and they don’t injure your nails.

STEP looks like a little brother of Dance Legend – it is the same good formula but in a smaller bottle. I see three major differences between the regular Dance Legend line and the STEP line. First of all, the bottles have a different shape. Dance Legend bottles are of an irregular shape, while STEP bottles are super neat and easy to storage and save space. The second difference is the color palette. So far STEP hasn’t got many colours to offer, although they do have classic colours like reds and nudes. Finally, the third difference is absence of names for STEP colours – they just have boring numbers like STEP #10 or STEP #02 and so on.

Overall, I like the new line a lot. I love STEP square bottles, and the new fashionable colours. The formula is very good, it really gives your nails a gel-like finish. I didn’t test durability of the polishes shown above, but then again – staying power mostly depends on nail chemistry and lifestyle, and we all have different nails and hobbies/work etc. I know people who can wear OPI for several days with no chipping at all, and others say they’ll never buy OPI again because it chipped the very same day they applied it.

I think STEP line is meant for a younger audience and most of their colors tend to be on trend. Plus, a 11ml STEP bottle costs about $5 less than a regular 15ml Dance Legend bottle.

If you hear the name for the first time – it’s an inexpensive sterling silver jewellery brand based in China. Recently the company have expanded into the USA and Canada market with the opening of an office in New York.

About 2 weeks ago a SOUFEEL PR manager contacted me again, offering to review some of their newest jewelry. As a nail blogger I’m always interested in hand jewelry, especially rings and bracelets that make photos more attractive and instagram worthy.

In the next photo I’m wearing it paired with Luminous Love ring that I got from SOUFEEL in August. I’ve been wearing it quite often, and as you can see, it still looks new and neat. I must say I’m very pleased with the quality of SOUFEEL rings, and I hope my new personalized ring will be just as good as the rest of the rings I have of the brand.

The idea is not new, SOUFEEL has a large variety of photo customizable charms, necklaces and bracelets. However, this one is probably the best of them all because the photo has no frames, and therefore looks unique if compared to regular charms. For my personalized bangle bracelet I chose not a photo but a picture of my fav fictional feline character ever – the Cheshire cat. I decided to use the original picture drawn by John Tensile somewhere in between 1865-1866. I love how stylish the bracelet looks when decorated with the black and white vintage heart charm! You’ll definitely be seeing more if it in my future photos here and on my IG (btw my Instagram is here).

The ring is called Luminous Love, here’s a macro:

SOUFEEL website states it’s decorated with a semi-precious stone, but they didn’t say what stone it is exactly. Anyways, I think it’s a moonstone, because it displays a mysterious, foggy glow and its semi-transparent delicate beauty is quite fascinating.

I wore the ring a few times already, and I shared a couple of nails/outfit looks featuring it on my Instagram, so if you follow me there you might have already noticed it. If not then feel free to sign up to my account there ;)

The stone is about 9mm in diameter, but the ring looks elegant and it’s quite light to the hand and easy to wear even if you are active. Another advantage of the ring is that it goes with everything because of its smoky white stone and sterling silver. Personally I like to wear it with contrasting dark or black sweaters or to pair the ring with denim.

As for the personalised name necklace, it’s also made of sterling silver. Good thing it’s rose gold plated, because it won’t tarnish with over time. And here’s a macro of the pendant. You can choose any word you like, not necessarily your name. For example I saw necklaces with music band / actors / celebrities names, with coordinates or dates, or even with short sayings and quotes. Anything that means something special to you – in 12 characters. You can also choose a font and style that your necklace can be cut to. They have simple sterling silver necklaces, as well as gold plated and rose gold plated options. The selection is quite broad.

I think it’s a great way to personalise your outfit, or to say something without actually saying it :)

The plate has 18 patterns, and I like them all except for the gradient one – I don’t see myself using it, but the tartan patterns are amazing! I think I’ll be using them a lot during Christmas holidays.

For today’s nail art I chose a tartan pattern with thin criss-crossed horizontal and vertical lines. Stamping is done with a Dance Legend black stamping paint over a white base. The silver glitter accent is Dance Legend Ceasar Palace applied with a make up sponge.

Also, I got a set of self adhesive silicone colour buttons for gel nail polish caps. I don’t use gel polish, and to be honest I don’t actually need the buttons, but since it was a bonus to the order, I don’t mind :) I took a couple of pictures, so have a closer look at the set:

When I got the products I was pleasantly surprised with their new packaging style. It’s a definite improvement! I just love the contrasting colour scheme and their new logo. I even did a white/black/red nail art to match the theme. Before I continue with the jewellery, let me tell you about the manicure, because it’s a nail blog, right? ;)

The white base here is OPI Funny Bunny – it’s a well known and rather old colour, but I only recently bought it. The floral accents are done with water decals that I got from Born Pretty Store. I painted a couple of flowers with Dance Legend Chile Red which is a bright red jelly. Finally, I sealed and mattified the design with Masura matte top. SOUFEEL jewellery pieces are so sparkly by themselves that I didn’t want any more shine.

Back to the topic now :) SOUFEEL PR team sent me a few silver rings and a rose gold plated name necklace. By the way, on the web site you can design your own personalised necklace – you can choose any name/word you like and the system will show you how it looks like written in different styles prior to buying.

According to the ring’s description, the big stone in the center is a white sapphire. The gem is synthetic, but super shiny anyways. I love geometry nail designs almost as much as I love negative space, and I love to combine geometry and negative space even more. BPS-L010 and BPS-L048 are perfect for those kinds of nail art, and for me they are a must have. I wish there were more geometric plates out there! The design you see in the picture below is stamped with BP-L048. The plate can be found here, in the Born Pretty store. Currently it’s on sale for $2.59

I also used golden nail art tape to match the design with one of my bracelets.

The tape comes in 3 sizes (1mm, 2mm, and 3mm – a 3 piece set) and 2 colours. I got a full set of 6 tapes, in which there’re 3 silver and 3 golden ones. Here’s a link to the product’s page if you are interested. Personally I like them, they are great for negative space designs.

The blue is OPI Keeping Suzi at Bay, and the Aztec stamping is done with Dance Legend white stamping nail polish.

Here’s another design done with nail art tape (a silver one this time) and Essie On the Roadie. The green is the only one I bought from the Essie Spring 2017, the colour is amazing and it’s a perfect one coater.

To be more exact, the DL HallOWLeen limited collection consisted of 3 red shades, but I got only 2 of them for swatching. The first one is Maska, a cool toned red with holo shimmer:

Maska is one of those reds that can easily become a Christmas nail polish, and it’s also great for a casual manicure. I really like the polish for its cool notes.

The second red is Al, a vibrant jelly red with tiny holo flakes. The quality is good, but it’s not my kind of red, as it’s too warm for my skin tone. I did a tartan negative space nail art to make the shade of red more wearable. The tartan pattern is hand painted with black and white acrylic paints.

Initially I was thinking of reviewing some of their nail polish and nail art accessories like I usually do, because it goes alongs with the main theme of my blog. However, it turned out that at the moment they didn’t have many nail polish related items in stock. It’s a new store, and therefore they are still working at increasing product assortment. For example, now they have a few varieties of that famous mirror nail polish + base/top coat.

Today, I’ll show you a canvas bag and a faux suede tie choker I got from the shop. The shoulder bag is quite big and super functional. Exterior dimensions: 37x30x11cm. Here’re a few close ups of the bag:

It lacks luxury labels and obviously cannot be compared with all those expensive bags we see on IG everyday, but it’s still pretty in its own way :) You can take the bag for a picnic or a short trip, not worrying if it accidentally gets stained or dirty. It costs only $14.13 and can be found here. Next item I’ve mentioned earlier is the bow chocker. It’s about 160cm long and I think it looks nice if tied on the wrist.

The bracelet weights around 8.18gr, and it looks minimalistic and airy. It’s adjustable thanks to its open cuff shape. However, the best thing is it’s engravable! I really like the idea of personalising jewellery, and SOUFEEL seems to know exactly what I love.

Next piece of jewellery is a spiral silver ring with ‘All you need is faith and trust and a little bit of pixie dust’ saying written on it. The ring is decorated with 4 Swarovski crystals (2 little crystals at the beginning of the spiral and the other 2 at the end). The stones look like equation marks!

The ring is massive but cute. I think it’s possible to adjust it by 0.5-1 size, and probably I’ll do it because it feels a bit large. Currently it’s on sale and retails at $25.00

The 4th ring I got for reviewing is Purple Crystal Ring, and it retails for $20. The ring is made of sterling 925 silver, and decorated with a purple crystal, just like its name says.

I did a simple negative space nail design with A-England Guinevere to match the ring’s beautiful simplicity.
