June 2009 Income Report

June 2009 Income Report finally is out. I recently had a reminding from Benjamin Cip to post my income for the first time. I did not post it before because I did not track it and even now I am still not sure what other program it is paying me, but I think most of what I am disclosing here it is basically everything for the last month.

The following it is a list of what I earned with this blog. Even that the last month I have not been very active online because I am working on an offline new business after my layoff. Hopefully it will work and will give me a decent income to live and pay my bills.

I cannot compare this income to my May income since I did not track it and I still trying to remember into what else I got involved that may gave me some income, but for now I think it is all. I still need to improve some things in this site like finally finishing the advertise page and the make money online page too.

This month there were no private ads, it may be because I were not very active online, since I am too much time in my offline business. The offline world it is very time consuming, that´s why I prefer the online world.

I will focus now on niche sites, but the kind of "set it and forget it" type of sites, since I need a lot of time to set up my offline business, but still need income to pay my bills.

Why looking for niches? Because The Money is in the Niche. You do not need a subscribers list, which it is very important to have, but if you are a beginner or your list is not big enough it would be almost imposible to make a decent amount of money from a tiny list.

You can make quite some money with high-responsive niches. The key is "High Responsive", since when you setup a new site it will not have much traffic, so the more responsive niche you get into the more money you will be able to make when your site still new.

I am using this steps as a blueprint for my own niche research efforts. Use these steps to make a quick and Free choosing of your niche.

(1) Look For Hot Topics At Amazon dot Com

Amazon is the largest online bookstore of the world, and a great place to look for your hot niche. Just go and look the bestsellers. One awesome niche topic is "weight loss" books but this still a huge niche with lots of competitors, so you can make it targeted by looking the current hot topics that the customers are buying.

(2) Check Magazines dot Com

After finding some niches that maybe profitable, lets look further in. You can look what magazines are popular. Most of the magazines if not all are monthly, so if big companies are printing a new issue every month this means they are obtaining profits then the niche is Great to go for it.

(3) Do Keyword Research

With the niches you got from your previous research, you will need to do a very thorough keyword research using tools like the free wordtracker to see how many searches are done per month for your niches. For instance, if you have a niche like weight loss, type ´weight loss´ and look for the amount of searches done per month. You will need a minimum of few thousand searches per month to consider that niche real hot.

(4) Go To The Forums

Visit the forums of your niche. This can help you in two ways, if you are creating your own product then go to the forums to find what problems the people on your niche are facing. Then just create your product targeting the solution for your niche. If you are going for affiliate products then look for the product that can solve those problems. You may look into the Clickbank Marketplace for products to promote in your niche. If you are in the marketing niche then Warrior Forum its one of the best to go, if not the best.

New Theme Finally Fix It

Finally my new theme and blog seems to be working fine. Comments are ok, commentluv plugin and reply to comment are doing fine. All this because of my Hard Work, oh! and of course Salwa from www.screationz.com and www.Blogriffic.com. Why I did the Hard Work, well I went to her site Blogriffic all by myself and clicked on her tab Hire Me and filled all the form and hitted the send button and waited.

The next day I got her email asking some questions about what exactly was the problems to fix. After I tell her all my problems, she just took the site and did the easier part of the work, To Fix All The Mess. Well at least it seems to me very easy, it took her some minutes to tell me what she will do, so I guess it must be easy work.

What impressive girl, she said in her site she is only 21 (I cannot testify if this is true, you better ask her) and already with all this savvy. Actually she also can do GhostWriting. If you are looking to outsource then she is perfect for the job.

She made the upgrade from WP 2.5.3 to WP 2.7.1 in a breeze and I still have all my database intact with all the garbage in it, I did not lost anything, not even my time, I cannot say the same about her, she spend some time with me until the problem was solved at my entire satisfaction.

I am glad I found her, I were about to delete all my site and start over again, since I had been hacked few weeks ago and could not find how to fix some little problems I got, like comment form not working properly, I could not upgrade my plugins anymore, some of my links in my posts were de-activated, but now it seems everything works fine.

How To Work Efficiently When You Are Your Own Boss

I just have recently been layoff from my former full time job. Then I should have a lot of time to work in my online business, Right?. Yep, I really have a lot, but that does not mean I am doing more than I use to do when I were on my full time job.

How come that be?. Well, I am at home where my family it is also, so when I am trying to work my son likes to come for me at my laptop and just pull my hand to take me with him, then I just went and play a little then I return to my work. Suddenly I can hear my wife calling me, she seems to need me for something that she use to do it by herself but that was when I were at my full time job but now I am here and so they may think I am just on vacations. So they use me as I were not doing anything worthy since nothing worthy can be done if you are at home, Right?

WRONG!, when you are working from home you can actually made more money than working in any full time job and with a lot less of stress. I know it because I am a lot more relaxed then ever, even that I were been layoff. I guess you get the picture, this maybe some of the problems you will find after you finally quite your job, so better follow this simple tips to avoid any problems after you are on your own.

How To Be Highly Efficient.

1.- Setup your own working hours.

Time at home can be more productive than in a regular workplace since they are not continuous interruptions and since you are the boss nobody it is above you to give you orders that avoids you to finish the task "You" think are more important to do. But you still need to establish the working time ground rules for you and your family. Actually you can put this hours around the needs of your family and see if they allow you enough time to work in the day. The best way I found is a PDA that can be synchronized with outlook or any other software that allow you to write your own schedule.

2.- Make a List of Tasks to be Done. Always the night before your next working day think in at least 6 tasks to be done during your working hours. Do the same at the end of your working time, another 6 tasks. If you did not finish some of your previous tasks then put this ones as first in your day and just complete the list to be 6 tasks, do not worry if the tasks cannot be done in a single day, the idea of this method is to have always 6 tasks ahead of you, so you will always know what to do next and avoid mind blackouts. If you can write a longer list, then do it, but prioritize which ones should be first and be on your daily 6 tasks list. Since you are your own boss, there will be no one to push you, then you need to push yourself to accomplish your commitment of working efficiently. 3.- Dress For Your Working Day. Since you will be working at home, you do not need your business attire. But working in your pajamas may make you think in returning to your bed, just for 5 minutes, but believe me those 5 minutes can become 50 minutes or more. Besides that, your family will see you are taking your business with more seriousness and may make them understand that you need to have that time for work.

4.- Have Your Own Home Office.

This home office should be for working purposes only. You need to have it organize for work and set up separate email accounts for your personal and business use, and never get into your personal email accounts during working hours. The less temptation to do personal things will translate to greater work efficiency.

5.- Separate Personal From Work Life

Once you leave your home office, do not return until the next day. It is really important to keep your personal and work life separate, even though you may be tempted to do more work. The more you create total separation between work and personal life, the more efficient you will be at your working time. Last Notes. A good advice will be to schedule everything you need to do during your day for both work and personal tasks, this ensure you will not overlap any of both lifes. For instance, this is my weekly schedule. Just use it as a reference, make your schedule according to your own needs and life reality.

This is only an overview of my daily life after my layoff. Actually you may need to do the breackdown of the tasks and schedule them and give a time to complete them and try to really finish them on time as close as you can. This way you will do a lot of work in the less amount of time possible. Figuring it out how your daily tasks will be before you quit your day job will ensure a very Efficient and more productive work life and of course you will grab a lot more money from your Online Businesses in less time.

Now that you know the tools, you need first go and sign up in Twitter Follower, do not worry it is free. Then when you get inside fill in your Twitter Username and Password and save. Then you better go to mass unfollow the people that are not following you. If you have some people that you want to follow even that they do not return the favor then you can use Friend Or Follow to see all the people you are following and check who you want to continue following and just right click them and open in a new tab or window.
