 Responsibilities:<br />
<br />
 We have an exciting junior level opening for a Digital Sales Planner/ Ad Innovations Strategist based in NYC with the following responsibilities:<br />
<br />
 *  Support in the development of custom digital solutions for potential and current advertising partners which included pre-sale idea generation, approvals and pitch<br />
 *  Review RFPs received and work with Sales Manager as both Sales Planner and Ad Innovations Strategist to conceptualize standard executions and possible custom executions<br />
 *  Work closely with sales and editorial departments to create unique sponsorship programs<br />
 *  Manage execution, completion and fulfillment of client proposal requests<br />
 *  Manage pre- and post-sale process for all custom programs built in-house and by 3rd party vendors<br />
 *  Write copy for sales presentations and collateral materials<br />
 *  Work on specific brand or category projects as directed<br />
 *  Modify The Root&#039;s Rate Card based on current pageview estimates pulled from Omniture<br />
 *  Work with The Slate Group&#039;s Art Departments to conceptualize and develop ad mock-ups that meet brand objectives when necessary<br />
 *  Work with 3rd party Ad Vendors (i.e. Pointroll or Mediamind) to design and produce custom ad units - from negotiating production and serving fees to conceptualizing ad units<br />
 *  Recommend First to Market ad products that can be executed on The Root<br />
 *  Discover new ad vendors that can provide cost efficient ad solutions<br />
 *  Work with editorial to acquire descriptions and pageviews forecasted for all current and upcoming editorial packages<br />
 *  Keep a running log of all editorial information and suggest relevant content packages for RFPs<br />
 *  Monitor currently sponsored content packages to ensure ads are showing up and pageviews are pacing to meet goal<br />
<br />
 Requirements:<br />

 *  Excellent project management skills - organization, attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines<br />
 *  Ability to work quickly and multitask in a fast-paced environment<br />
 *  Ability to communicate effectively with sales staff and editorial department<br />
 *  Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Atlas, Mediavisor, iDesk<br />
 *  Familiarity with syndicated research tools including Nielsen @Plan and comScore<br />
 *  Understanding of digital news space, digital ad sales and excellent copywriting skills<br />
 *  Eye for design and basic understanding of how to make things more visually appealing<br />

JOB DESCRIPTION<br />
Departmental Mission: To grow network membership, inspire action and amplify the voices of ACE students, teachers and allies with the purpose of building the community needed to move the needle on climate change. Listen to, understand and authentically leverage the interests, ideas and feedback of ACE stakeholders, especially the youth we serve, to shift US culture as it relates to climate. Finally, to ensure that Media, Marketing and Mobilizations, as well as ACE's two other key programmatic areas: Multimedia Education and Leadership Development, are well aligned and effectively advancing ACE's vision, mission and brand promise.<br />
Position Overview: As Director of Media, Marketing and Mobilization, you will be responsible for attracting, activating and amplifying the voices of young people, teachers, and other ACE stakeholders. <br />
<br />
This position is new for ACE and includes working in partnership with allies across the education, youth development and environmental fields, designing the strategy and tactics, and then implementing all aspects of our media, marketing and mobilization program. You'll also bring a track record of starting or running big, bold things â€“ things that prove you&#039;ve got the entrepreneurial spirit to help take ACE and its network to the next level. In short, you will make taking action on climate irresistible to today's youth.<br />
<br />
We have identified three critical skill-sets necessary to excel in this role â€“ roughly grouped into communications, technology and organizing. Strong candidates will be skilled in all three areas. We also encourage candidates to apply who don&#039;t have deep expertise in all three areas, but have exceptional skills in one or two areas, and the hunger and aptitude to learn the other areas quickly.<br />
<br />
Major Functions:<br />
-Executive management of Media, Marketing and Mobilization department<br />
-Leadership on brand, marketing and communications strategy<br />
-Strategic and operational oversight of campaigns, actions and community/national partnerships, including effective use of media, technology and CRM infrastructure<br />

Working Relationships:<br />

Internal â€“ Work closely with the executive team, the executive director and staff implementing media, marketing and mobilization responsibilities. Must work collaboratively across the organization to connect field staff, ACE students and teachers to opportunities for influence and action<br />

External â€“ Work with the media, government officials, corporations, thought leaders, partners, funders and relevant consultants as well contact with teens and teachers<br />
<br />
Work Environment:<br />
This position is located in the headquarters of the organization, based in Oakland, CA. May require travel for meetings, events and trainings throughout the United States.<br />
Direct reports, indirect reports and staff may be based elsewhere â€“ you should be a strong communicator both in person as well as via conference calls, video chat, IM and email<br />

QUALIFICATIONS<br />
Required Qualifications:   <br />
-Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant field. A Master's degree preferred.<br />
-Minimum 7 years experience working within the field of youth organizing, communications, and/or campaign development<br />
-Minimum 3 years experience supervising a team<br />
-Minimum 3 years experience in program development and/or management<br />

-Knowledge of youth organizing best practices<br />
-Awareness of the issues impacting this generation, including climate change<br />

 The Channel Marketing Specialist role is responsible for championing the Next Gen ISV* that is at the early start up stage.  The goal is to nurture promising companies through a programmatic approach, helping them to get off the ground and grow into meaningful Twilio partners. Acquinity Interactive is looking for an Email Marketing Manager to join our team in the NYC (flatiron) area. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of email marketing and metrics as a critical skill-set as well as the ability to project manage several deliverables. The email marketing manager will work with the email marketing team and report to the General Manager of Email.<br />

Responsibilities:<br />

â€¢	Drive the strategy of email marketing from content, frequency, and messaging based on ROI. <br />
â€¢	Work closely with internal teams (design, technology, sales) and external ESP to plan and launch customer lifecycle campaigns and seasonal promotions. <br />
â€¢	Manage day-to-day ESP vendor relationship and become proficient with their marketing tools to support marketing / product utilization goals. <br />
â€¢	Monitor competitive landscape and stay current on industry standards on email. <br />
â€¢	Develop and maintain testing calendar for key email components such as subject lines, template formats, time of day, day of week etc. <br />
â€¢	Monitor and report on email metrics such as open, click, opt-out, and conversion rates. <br />
â€¢	Partner with analytics team to analyze test findings and identify trends to enhance email segmentation and develop new trigger campaigns. Also work together to improve customer loyalty by creating a robust segmentation and targeting structure.<br />
â€¢	Maintain best practices for list hygiene, privacy, and opt-in/opt-out standards.<br />

Our client is a multi-brand internationally recognized corporation seeking a Marketing Manager with a minimum of 5 and a total of 10 years of expertise developing and executing media/marketing plans. <br />
<br />
Expertise in all media, new marketing technologies, partnerships and social media strategies. Managing these partnerships with outside agencies/PR firms for media buys to enhance several well-known brands in the fashion accessories channel. <br />
<br />
Responsibilities:<br />
Strategic, creative thinking to support strong data management and analytical research to synthesize the results into actionable marketing plan. Serve as overall project manager and liaison for all campaign marketing including print, out of home and a special focus on digital and social media, email marketing campaigns, SEO and pay per click campaigns. <br />
<br />
Partner with marketing agencies to measure, track, trend and report on relevant analytics ensuring the most efficient and productive use of the media spend and to ensure metrics arc met. Interpret individual brand strategies, understand brand guidelines and strategic initiative, setting and communicating expectations, scheduling and organizing resources. Stay current with best practices, strategies legislation and industry standards related to online marketing and email tactics. Analysis of customer research, current market conditions and competitor information as directed. Developing and maintaining marketing calendar by brand including forecasting and tracking of monthly budgets. <br />
<br />
Oversee Marketing Coordinator and the development and implementation of tradeshow, event, and PR activities. Possess excellent interpersonal communication oral, written and presentation skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams internally and externally.<br />
Demonstrate creative leadership skills; have an aggressive and enthusiastic attitude.<br />
<br />
Consumer products goods experience and fashion/accessories experience is a definite plus.<br />
Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, and web analytics (Google)<br />
<br />
Salary range: $85â€“95K<br />
