It’s that special time of year when the dance music world unites in the Dutch capital, and Markus Schulz checks in live from the heart of Amsterdam for the annual Global DJ Broadcast ADE Edition. A celebration of the present and a preview of the future, Markus delivers a signature journey packed with the biggest sounds from across the trance, progressive and techno spectrum.

If you are in Amsterdam, you can catch Markus for no less than three sets across Friday October 24. First up will be at the Black Hole Recordings popup store at Heremgracht 406 from 1-2pm. Following that, Markus will play for Transmission's special 25 Years of Gouryella event at ARAS Live, playing 6pm to 7pm, and the night ends at the Luminosity This is Trance event, playing a Down the Rabbit Hole set from 1-3am.

Next week's Global DJ Broadcast will be the next of the collectors edition themed mixes, celebrating the weird and wonderful of the rabbit hole with the 2025 edition of Afterdark.

And with In Search of Sunrise 21 now available in full across digital, CD, and vinyl formats, this episode marks the perfect soundtrack to transition from summer into fall.

Transmission is regarded as the leading indoor dance music event festival in the world, and Markus Schulz's career is greatly intertwined with its history. Now established in the Netherlands, the 2025 edition is themed The Temple of Time (an anthem created by Coldharbour's Daxson). The May World Tour features Markus' set live from the event in full.

The second half of the show features a bonus one hour mix Markus made while in transit from Europe back to Miami over Easter weekend, one full of reflective tones.
