A great way of helping a charity client raise funds provided they are a registered charity is to set them up with Every Click.
This is a search engine to help raise funds for any registered charity. Also recently I have added an Every Click search box on the clients site (Sporting Hearts) to help gain more support for this charity.

Also I quite like the idea of the hunger site and the Rainforest Site. Giving to charity for free, once per day for user support clicks. The many big brand name sponsors pay the hunger site’s bills. Also freerice.com is a charity benefiting game that claims to make users smarter.
