We sell our Glitters, Flitters, Flakes and Beads in very cool retail packages, but we actually sell a lot more product in bulk to designers, retailers and retail stores. Many of these customers have asked if we have a source for bottles and over the last year we have worked with a number of our partners to come up with a real nice assortment of bottles, with reasonable pricing for anyone who wants to repackage and resell our products.

We have packaged these in both small sets (like 3 to a package) and bulk, (12 to a package) and have these in separate areas of the store.

This store has a little of everything. There is a great selection of batik and vintage fabrics, yarn, buttons, beads embellishments, glitters and supplies for everything!  It's a homage to crafters everywhere.

Rainbow was founded by Rose Taber, years ago. I think some of her original inventory might still be there, somewhere. It is a treasure hunt and the go to spot all in one.

Rainbow offers a variety of classes year 'round. Some are seasonal, Halloween, Christmas, Easter etc., while others are on going. Check out their website for upto date info on the classes!

We are lucky enough to hold a bit of this rich tradition in our hands with the thousands of vintage Christmas Angels, Ornaments, and Nativity items (from East Germany) that we have in stock.

I like to highlight the blogs of our customers (hint, hint, send me your links!) and I have to be honest, this blog does not have alot of content. But that is not really the point. Take a look at the links to the blogs they follow. If you like Shabby, Vintage, Antiques and (what's the word I am looking for) crafts and art, there are hours of good reading here. Just by checking out the blogs they follow.

And any customer who writes to tell me "Currently we are preparing for 2 Christmas shows and i am up to my ears in german glass glitter.  Our customers can not get enough of it!" is going to get a shout out on my blog!

And, on top of that, the business is run by twin sisters! One of the greatest aspects of my job, is learning about our customers and how they use our products. While retailers who resell our glitter, embellishments and miniatures are really important to us, it is the designers and the creative process that really adds the sizzle to our business.

Vaillancourt is one of these customer who take our products and use them to help create some of the most beautiful "chaukware figures" around. Being a huge fan of everything vintage and european, I did a double take when I first saw their products. Made in the US? Wow. Take a look!

 Some background on Vaillancourt Folk Art (VFA) Vallancourt is one of the last remaining "Made in America" Christmas manufactures. Founded in 1984, VFA has become a household name to collectors and Christmas enthusiasts around the world because of their highly detailed, hand-painted, Chalkware figurines. Using vintage molds, dating as early as the mid-1800s, their Victorian decorative art form is done in a small studio in Central Massachusetts.

In addition to their popular chalkware designs, VFA has several other lines, including, Polish Glass Ornaments, English Creamware, and a more contemporary Et Cetera line. Vaillancourt Folk Art is a family owned and operated business that is sold in over 500 stores around the nation (including Macy's, Nordstroms, and Neiman Marcus), their retail studio in Sutton, MA, and through their web site valfa.com.
