Stamping Sunday: Love of the Season - Stampin’ Up! Holly Jolly Christmas Stamp Set

Well it seems like forever since I actually sat down and wrote a post! It’s been nice to have a little break and I’m ready to get back into thing. While we are on the topic there are a few things that are still going on in the background so in a couple of days there may/may not be some issues in accessing my blog. Now is the time to follow me on Facebook, Instagram and YouTube so you don’t miss out.

Today’s project is coming at you with the Stamping Sunday Crew, these ladies are some of my absolute favourite and the talent is immense! This month we decided to work with the Night Before Christmas Bundle, from the moment I saw this bundle I knew I had to have it, it’s so fun and just screams classic Christmas. From other projects I’ve created I have had the feed back that people had overlooked it! How?

The designer series paper is the stand out star of the bundle with just the imaginative colour combos and the amazing designs. On one side you find a really pretty sometime subtle bundle, on the other a repetitive pattern. I love it when some designer series paper give me an opportunity to grab my paper snips to get cutting.

I mentioned in the video demonstrating the card that I’m using the Tin Tile Embossing Folder again... I’m not sorry because it’s beautiful and if you don’t have it add it straight to your basket now! When you are stuck for something to go on in the background then just simply emboss you’re heart out.

This card is a little strange in the way that the DSP is a little random in its lengths. This is going to be a little bit like marmite with some of you loving it and some of you hating it. I hope you love it because I think it’s the bit that makes this card interesting!

I’ve been waiting what seems like forever to share that I have been honoured in the title of Artisan Design Team Member for 2020. Even though I found out back in August I am still lost for word as to what this means to me.

When I signed back up as a demonstrator in June 2018 applications had just opened up and the Artisan Design Team was something completely new to me. I knew straight away it was something I wanted to be apart of however as I only just joined I wasn’t able to apply. I worked so hard for the next year to achieve this title and I’m so proud of myself to gaining it. All the hard work was made so much easier with the amazing support offer from you all.

Now before I go and celebrate with a little bit of champagne and chocolate I wanted to share the moment I shared the news with my Mother who has supported me a lot in this journey.

Happy Holidays - Stampin’ Up! Perfectly Plaid Stamp Set

Okay so I wasn’t actually going to post this blog and I was waiting a little while until I had everything in order. However I had the time and thought why not! It’s been strange not to be posting recently but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been busy.

After my last project featuring the Christmas Rose Stamp Set I was a little nervous in posting this one. I wouldn’t say some commented weren’t nice but they weren’t encouraging; I’ll just put that down to individual style. I have let the comments stop me from using none traditional colours in today’s project, who would of thought of a black Christmas Card.

If you are like me, you won’t measure anything and just cut away into you are happy with the design. This does not make it easy for us who demonstrate the cards to get all the measurements correct and sometimes there might a some weird ones too. With the project I started with the tag and basically went from there. The colours I used where Night of Navy, Pacific Point and Balmy Blue, these can easily be swapped for and colour combo which could make a really fun card.

You’re probably sick of my using the Tin Tile in the background, it’s just my favourite and I really think that it helps everything just pop. I had a little panic the over day when I had thought that I had lost it, turns out it had just fallen behind my desk, still scared me a little thought.

So a lot of work is happening as I have work done to my blog. It’s a little scary but I can’t wait for you all to see the outcome. It looks amazing and I’m so happy about it. It does how’re mean my blog might not be available for a day or two but I’m the long run it’ll be worth it!

TGCDT: Gifts of the Season - Stampin’ Up! Christmas Rose Stamp Set

The Gentleman Crafters are hopping again, obviously, that’s most likely why you are here after all but just in case you didn’t know here you go. I love it when the guys all get together and hop. After my recent interview regarding being a guy within the card making industry it really made it obviously how we guys need show ourselves off a little more.

As you can see I’m breaking away from the Whisper White Card base that you’ve seen me use every month so far since the TGCDT was created. This project is something a little different and something that has coursed a little controversy amongst some demonstrators due to the use of Basic Grey and has unofficially been named the Marmite card. I was clearly going through a grey day as I made around 5 grey Christmas card at the same time of this one – I clearly like it or you wouldn’t be seeing.

The subtleness of the silver against the grey just worked so well however I felt that it didn’t really stand out. Due to this I added some Ink Blending over the embossing to around the edges of the die cut embossing and this made it pop. Ink blending is one thing that I actually struggle with – yes I struggle with things too which is why I’m pushing myself to do it more. You’ve most likely already noticed this and more projects will be coming soon using more of this technique.

I did ‘urm’ & ‘ahh’ over rather or not to do the sentiment on back card stock or what colour to bring in for the sentiment to sit on. So many concerns with heat embossing silver onto black, white onto black etc. The way I worked around is was to give everything a go and mess around with the design and composition.

I honestly don’t know what is next for me. I’ve been in stuck a creative rut that I need to hurry up and get out of it, I know we all get like this from time to time and that is okay. I’m going to start by just cleaning up and hopefully inspiration will hit.

OSAT: Magic of Christmas - Stampin’ Up! Holly Jolly Christmas Stamp Set

Happy OSAT Blog Hop Day! The OSAT Design Team are hopping from the last time in 2019, isn’t that sad. Don’t worry we will be hopping again in January. To finish off this year in style our final theme is Holiday Festivity with the guideline of Winter Holiday Theme.

With this I started pondering over winter and the imagery that surround this. Straight away I though snowflakes with silver tones. I started by searching out ways of incorporating silver as the main feature, this is when I remember how beautiful the Feels Likes Frost Designer Series Paper is. It’s incredible with the imagery on one side and the foiled pattern on the reverse, I know it’s a favourite of some of yours.

For those of your who have popped by before now and know my work, I don’t normally like over the top backgrounds such as this. However due to the composition and the simple colour theme of just white and silver it really makes by busy background remain in the background. For the sentiment I knew I wanted to finally use the amazing sentiment from the Holly Jolly Christmas Stamp Set, there’s just something about the silver tones that works with the idea of a magically Christmas.

I wanted a subtle detail added to the project just to create some additional interest to the card. Taking the Snowflake dies from the Christmas Laying Die Set I cut out some more Whisper White card stock and glued this to the sentiment. When gluing the snowflakes down I find it easier to dab a little liquid glue down onto the die cut shape and before sticking it to our project tap any excess off onto some scrap.

Creation Station: Dreams Come True - Stampin’ Up! Leave A Little Sparkle Stamp Set

Welcome to the Creation Station Blog Hop! You’ve either started here or have hopped over from Kerstin Kreuzer, no matter how you got here thank you for joining in this amazing hop. This month we are working under an interesting theme of Girl Power. Which I love don’t get me wrong however I had an interesting conversation about this theme and my ideas. I’ll go into this a little later.

From the moment I saw the theme I knew it was the ideal time to crack open the Leave a Little Sparkle Stamp Set and final use it. For those of you who know me, I LOVE UNICORNS, so much so it’s my Stampin’ Up! Teams mascot. However I haven’t yet used this set and I’m not sure why.

I’m going to blame my ignorance of being male on today’s card, I am all for girl power and equality of the genders. Now onto todays the story which explains this statement, I was at work and was discussing my ideas for today’s project, expressing how excited I am to see how it turns out. My colleague response wasn’t the excitement I expected instead it was just shock as she said that it doesn’t say girl power at all. I was a little like ‘But unicorns?’ however this didn’t help… She was saying however when she thinks of girl power she thinks of the Marie Curie, Frida Kahlo and Emmeline Pankhurst. My problem was showing these inspirational women in a card.

I stuck with the original idea and concept purely because I felt the sentiment says it all; Make Sure Your Dreams Come True. Out of everything this is what we all need to be told from time to time and it’s only by us working hard we can make sure our dreams come true. Things got a little serious but I hope I’ve covered my back!

My project is an example of this. I used the Itty Bitty Christmas with the brand new Christmas Rose Stamp Set. While the Christmas Rose Stamp Set has sentiments already in it, I did not want a big bulky sentiment taking away from the clean and simple nature of this project. Making the sentiments from Itty Bitty Christmas just perfect.

Now it might be silly by I have only just learnt was CAS Cards are! I know you are mostly all like ‘how did you not know?’ but for anyone out there, like me, did not what this means – It’s clean and simple. This project is just that, CAS, and I love simple cards that only take a few minutes to complete.

Stamping Sunday: Joy To The World - Stampin’ Up! Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set

Welcome to this month’s Stamping Sunday Blog Hop. I’m so glad that you’ve popped by today as we are featuring one of my favourite stamp sets from the Autumn/Winter Catalogue. That right; the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set that is available in a bundle with the Christmas Layering Die and you’ll save 10%.

The Itty Bitty Christmas is a sentiment only stamp set. I know this might be a little scary but I think it opens up all different possibilities. Imagine, do you have someone who love unicorns, cows, cats or dogs? While these imagery of these might not be meant for Christmas with your creativity you will find that you can make it Christmassy with this stamp set. You might even just want to use the stamp set on its own and use repetition in order to create a fun background. Possibilities are endless.

I wanted to do something little different to the things you’ve seen me do before, this being said, it didn’t turn out quite as I expected. Not in a bad way though. I love the colour combination between the Basic Black, Crumb Cake, Whisper White and Old Olive, that’s not even getting me started on how adorable the note cards are. The design is super simple but hold a relevance about it. This is down the amount of colour that is surrounding centre part of the card.

The mistletoe die was just the perfect accent for this collection of cards. This is probably the reason for them being built together in a bundle saving you 10%, you’ll be crazy not to take advantage of the saving. I cut this out of Old Olive, I left the berries black however if you have the time and want to make the effect you could easily colour these in white.

Peace & Joy - Stampin’ Up! Christmas Rose Stamp Set

Oh I’m really excited to be sharing something new with you today in preparation for the 1^st November. You can consider this a sneak peak of all sneak peaks. I won’t lie to you, I sat on the fence a few hours before purchasing it to establish whether or not I would use it or even if you all would like to see what could be created. If you are like me and love floral stamps you’ll love this one, it’s just perfect for Christmas with the roses and pine cones. What doesn’t say Christmas more than pine cones!

The stand out of the product suite in the Designer Series Paper, I have no words for how beautiful this is. When I received my in the post and opened it, I was straight on Facebook & Instagram to show you all how amazing it really is. On each one side of each sheet you get a lovely foiled pattern; my favourite has to be the pillow effect. If you are like me you’ll want to buy two packs, one to use and one to hide away and occasionally look at.

While the DSP is pretty and all Stampin’ Up! have been work their magic and made the large floral flower printed pattern coordinate perfectly with the dies available. So if you didn’t want to colour in the stamp set you are able to cut out the image straight from the DSP that is already coloured and will have the gold foiling!

Today’s project is just one way in which to can use some of the items in the product suite but also shows how easy it is to mix the new with old product you’ll have already. I just love it when everything comes together just perfectly.

Tis The Season - Stampin’ Up! Christmas Gleaming Stamp Set

It’s been a crazy few days here, I can honestly say I have never had as many emails come through in the whole time I’ve been a demonstrator than I have this weekend! I’m not complaining, you all are amazing and I feel so blessed to have you all support me in my little world of mayhem!

Anyway that’s the soppy part over and done with, shall we move onto today's project? I think so. This one is a little different and I actually shared the initial idea over on my Instagram account. It was just a little 4x4 note in Whisper White, I was messing around a lot with making my own holy leaves but struggled with the red berries. I tried all different kind of things, red gems, punched circles so many many more. Nothing worked. I actually spoilt the card as there was a red mark left so I just gave up.

Whenever I’m a little stuck with an idea I always turn to catalogues for much needed inspiration. I knew about the Christmas Gleaming Stamp Set before but it didn’t really appeal to me, but I spotted the holy sprig and I was sold. Normally I wouldn’t just purchase a stamp set for just one stamp but I did, why not hey? It’s only Christmas once a year. The blends I used were Mossy Meadow and Real Red, just perfect for Christmas.

The design of the project is super simple, however due to a clever colour combo this card really pops. Using colour is actually something I struggle with, shock I know but I do struggle and most of the time I’ll be sat messing around with different sheets of A4 until I’m happy. At the start of the festive season I always by a brand new pack of Crumb Cake Card Stock and by the end it’s all gone! That how you know you’ve done well.

I spent most of my time this weekend just gone making loads of project ready for the coming weeks. I’ve done pretty well and super excited to share them with you. If you can’t wait why not join my team and you’ll be able to see what I’ve been up to straight away!

TGCDT: True Friend - Stampin' Up! Tea Together Stamp Set

And I’m back again! I know it’s strange seeing me back two days in a row but I’m sure you’re not complaining that much. Todays the day Where the Gentlemen Crafters all join together to make an inspirational blog hop of all our favourite things.

For today’s post I really wanted to step back and use a stamp set that’s been gathering dust for a little while and see what new things I could come up with. The Tea Together Stamp Set is one of my all-time favourites as it has some great floral imagery. This stamp set does have coordinating dies that call all the images within the set and makes life a lot easier. I know I’ve created some amazing project and seen that some of you have as well from the images you’ve shared.

The concept for this card was using a bright colours against a dark background. This was inspired by the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper which has a sheet with a similar effect. My idea was to replicate this on a much larger scale, maybe covering the full card base. As you can see this idea took a U-turn however I’m still happy with the outcome.

This card does take a little work but the effect is so worth it! I stamped each image onto the different coloured sheets multiple times in Versamark before heat setting in white. I did cut out the flowers individually to get a nice tight cut, but there is the dies that you could use should you wish. Once they are all cut out it only a matter of assembling all the bits together onto the Basic Black Stitched Rectangle shape. The sentiment is from another one of my favourite sets; Strong & Beautiful.

Don’t be running off anywhere because you need to check out all the other amazing projects but the other guys in this hop.

The weekend is fast approaching and I know Sean has been keen to find out what we are doing. Little does he know that I’ll be spending some time crafting and he did mention about baking some chocolate muffins, so that’s the plan I think!

OSAT: Halloween Hello - Stampin' Up! Tags Tags Tags Stamp Set

Happy OSAT day! Random fact for you all today The OSAT Design Team was the first blog hop that I every was asked to take part in. That’s cute right! Little fact for your Thursday.

Today we are getting spooky that’s right it’s October and that means it’s Halloween time. Now grab the pumpkins, brooms and a packet of sweets a take a sit for this blog hop. You all know how much I adore Halloween, from the dressing up to the chocolate I’m game. The project today was actually inspired by one of the scary monsters my mother used to dress me up as; a Mummy.

I hope you can see how I got from that concept to this project, I did consider more rips but back out of it at the last second. The sentiment is from the Tag, Tags, Tags Stamp Set, it’s so useful which it covering me from Halloween, Christmas and Valentines Day! What tops this all of is there is coordinating dies!

The Monster Bash Designer Series is the showstopper on this project. There are so many amazing patterns but imagery as well. The bats are only one tiny design and look at how such a small detail can make a design come together. I had popped to the local supermarket and found ‘candy sticks’, that’s not what they were called in my day. These we’re already in a little box so I only had to create a little wrap.

Creation Station: Hello - Stampin' Up! Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set

You don’t know how excited I am to be back posting today with the Creation Stations Design Team, I’m sure you all would have noticed that last month I wasn’t able to join in due to a cross with the Stamping Society. I'm so ready for this post and I’ve actually had the project ready for weeks!

You should be coming over here from the amazing Elizabeth Price, who I can’t wait to see what she has created under this months theme. This being Black, White and One Other. I actually created the project not for this blog hop but it fit just perfectly I didn’t really have any reason not to use it. There maybe a little grey area as to where Vellum falls into the spectrum but we will refer to this as creative freedom!

I choose a colour that I really don’t use often enough, not because I don’t like it but because sometimes it’s really intimidating to use bold colours. This is why this is just the perfect way to get yourself familiar in using these colours in projects and coming up with designs. The concept itself is relatively simple using blocks of colour and patterns.

I know I use the Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set a lot but there is so many possibilities and I don’t know about you but I want to make the most of them and the most of my money. I’ve had people say to me that they are put off due to the idea of having to colour well I’ve shown you that you don’t and that you can pretty much do anything!

Stamping Society: Enjoy Today - Stampin' Up! Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set

It’s absolutely miserable in the UK at this time with it pretty much raining 12 hours straight. But at last there is no better way than to brighten any day but with a project or six. That’s right, if the header didn’t give it away the Stamping Society are hopping today with more amazing projects to celebrate the release of our latest Video Tutorial Package.

This month we are switching it up a little by working with the Pigment Sprinkles rather than a stamp set. In my opinion this has worked incredibly as you see from the hop there are some amazing protects in this hop and that’s only a teaser to the tutorial. I used the Pigment Sprinkles with the Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set because you already know it’s my all time favourite.

I will be completely honest, I was a little scared of the Pigment Sprinkles to start with, I have previously used the Brusho ones and didn’t work out as expected. From I know I had to turn a page and try to make these work. Honestly they are completely different and the quality is so much better. I achieved such clean and crisp results and it was fun to get a little messy.

I would recommend always using the Pigment Sprinkles with the Fluid 100 Watercolour Paper. You will be applying a lot of water the the card stock that average Whisper White will not handle. I always say the best way to get quality results is by having the right materials in the first place.

Now is not the time to stop hopping it is only the beginning, you need to start hopping over to all my Stamping Society Sisters, make sure you leave them all a comment sharing the love.

Simply Wonderful - Stampin’ Up! Bloom & Grow Stamp Set

Well today’s post was a little touch and go at one point! I’m normally really organised weeks in advance however Sean’s been really needy and I’m have to record as I go. He has promised me that tomorrow he will leave me alone to get everything done!

Now today’s card is actually one I designed quite recently, normally I design them long in advance and this was due to be for my next batch and maybe I was thinking for TGCDT but I knew or I thought I’d be a nice quick video to record. It turned out being 16 minutes long? So yes that worked out well didn’t it.

I haven’t used this stamp set for what seems like forever so I was desperate to get it back out and actually use it. Of course I’ve used it plenty of time but not recently. It’s such an amazing Stamp Set and it’s even better with coordinating dies that’s when you purchase them together you have 10% meaning you have more money to spend on craft goodies.

I’m pushing myself to use more coloured card bases and colour in general, as I’ve created a few projects now and they are all on Whisper White card stock which is great and I love the design but there is always room from improvement and progression and I know this is something I need to do.

So when this post goes live I will be asleep but when I wake up I will be non stop crafting. Or at least that’s the plan. Come on we have some exciting blogs coming up, Stamping Societ (which is really cool), Creation Station, OSAT & TGCDT.

Hooray - Stampin' Up! Well Said Stamp Set

Who wants to hear something? I totally started writing this blog thinking it was Thursday tomorrow. It’s not it’s Wednesday. This pretty much sums up my week this far but hopefully things will be looking up with how happy today’s project is!

I adore today’s project, that might be a little vain but honestly I like it that much I don’t care. This card all started with the Designer Series Paper of Night Before Christmas, this beautiful star design is amazing. Now I know the stars are Very Vanilla but we’ll just say it’s creative licensing with it being paired with the white. This is actually something me and Sean argue about a lot, goes cream and whit go together? I say not!

The next items are the amazing Stitched Stars. I adore these does and just don’t see how I lived without them. As you can tell I’m posting two projects in a row using them. They are perfect for every occasion, birthday, congratulations, the dreaded means card you are covered. You need these in your collection Bellevue me. The colour combo is again isn’t something I’d normally run too, Melon Mambo, Crushed Curry and Granny Apple Green, isn’t it fun though.

Right so I really wanted to saying to be Hip, Hip, Hooray. But I didn’t have a ‘hip’ stamp... Okay so it might be a strange ask to get a stamp that says this but it did make me ponder if it’s a British sentiment. I don’t think it is but I’m the end I’m happy to have used the We’ll said Stamp Set.

So how can I not be feeling better after today’s project! I hope you enjoyed today’s project. I’m going to be busy getting stuff done and ready for next week/month. A lot is going to be happening and it’s so exciting, I hope you come back and enjoy the business with me!

Stamping Sunday: All About The Candy - Stampin' Up! Tags Tags Tags Stamp Set

Happy Sunday all! This week has been super busy for me and therefore no doubt it has been for you too. So thank you for taking your time to pop by and check out today’s post. Today’s blog is in association with the Stamping Sunday Design Team, with this month focusing on the Tag, Tags, Tags stamp set. Which is FABULOUS!

The stamp set itself is super clever in the fact there is 9 images across 3 stamps. This is made 10 time better with the coordinating die that cuts out all 3 images at once. Imagine how much time you’ll save. I choose Halloween as the occasion to make this card and gift because this is the closest holiday which are might need to bulk make.

Halloween isn’t massive over here in the UK but I know it is across the pond and in a few other countries. I however love Halloween with it being my favourite holiday of the year, therefore this card will most likely be wrote out to myself! I have already eaten the sweets inside the treat box. The box itself is one of Stampin’ Up Mini Pizza, however I created a wrap to go around it to decorate. I cut a strip of Whisper White 9cm by the length of the card. You’ll want to score at 6cm, 9cm, 18cm and 21cm. This creates a nice little sleeve.

Today colour combo is something completely new to me and the colours aren’t ones that I turn to all the time. In fact I think this is the first time I’m using the Rich Razzleberry since signing back up to be a demonstrator. Crazy right?!

Happy Holidays - Stampin' Up! Holly Jolly Christmas Stamp Set

It’s been a busy few days for me with work and my Stampin’ Up business so I’m enjoying some time just sitting back to write today’s post. While I sometimes struggle to think of interesting to write it’s nice to just sit down, reflect on the project and my coming plans.

It’s a coincidence that this post is going out live today two weeks after the release of the Autumn/Winter Catalogue because this was going to be Catalogue card until I switched it out at the last second. I’m not sure why I did swap but I’m happy I did. This being said I still adore this card with all the colours and patterns.

This was the first card I created with the Holly Jolly Stamp Set, you all know I adore this set and was so excited to get my inky mits on it. On this card I’m only using the four trees but I’ve pretty much used every stamp set in this set now. For me that’s how I know a stamp set is worth the value. The sentiment is also from another one of my favourite set from the Autumn/Winter Catalogue, the Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set. It's just perfect for every project and I know you'll love it too!

Now I have a confession, I had a little meltdown on today’s video and I was going to completely record the video however I’m human and I want you to see that too. I get things wrong and it doesn’t always go right and this card was just one of them days. I apologise but I hope you see why I choose to keep this video.

This weekend is making week and while I had a project planned for Sunday I’ve changed my mind and need to record and make one this Saturday. Pray for me!

TGCDT: Peace & Happines - Stampin' Up! Itty Bitty Stamp Set

How does that song go? Oh yeah, boys are back in town!

I honest can’t believe it’s been a month since The Gentleman Crafters last hopped! I always enjoy our blog hops because men stamp to and sometimes we are pretty good at it. You can check out last month by clicking here.

While we are on the topic of previous months projects we have now completed a total of three projects each. Looking back so far all my projects have been based on Whisper White Thick Card. What can I say, our aim it to safe what you love and I love Whisper White.

Like most of my this card was a complete accident, I had one idea and it turn into something completely different. This card started with the Basic Pattern Decorative Masks, I'm so excited that Stampin’ Up has brought out more masks. I already love the mask available in the Annual Catalogue and can’t wait to see if there is anymore that will be soon available. I’ve used the mask with embossing paste for the project but they can also be used with our inks.

The next item that I adore is one you’ve seen me use before; the Pine Tree Punch. I punched two of the out in both Soft Sea Foam and Pool Party. These are both colours that I haven’t really used a lot of so this opportunity was good for me. Pastel colours area top trend for Christmas this year, so these colours work perfectly. Due to the trees being the same size I wanted to cut a little off the bottom just to create a slight difference in size.

I think I’m going to be having a little weekend off from Stampin’ Up! This weekend as I think me and Sean need a little rest. This being said he is planning on making some yummy gingerbread. What would mean I have to help of course!

OSAT: Happy Holiday - Stampin' Up Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set

It’s my favourite day of the month! The One Stamp At A Time Design Team are hopping and this month we are celebrating the release of the Autumn/Winter Catalogue. I know it’s been just over a week since it’s release however we can drag out the celebration a little longer.

You might not be starting here at my blog with you already hopping over a few before reaching here so welcome and I Home you enjoy today’s project. The Autumn/Winter Catalogue is full of perfect items for the coming seasons, the biggest being Christmas. The idea for today’s card was all based around the colour being Blushing Bride, I’ve previously said that subtle colours are a big trend this year and this colour fits right in. Image this card in one of every subtle colour?

The main part of this card is using the die to emboss the shape into the card rather than cutting the card. Magic right? It’s not I promise, using a silicone sheet and an adopter I was able to do this with my big shot machine. If you don’t have these hands then you can just cut and out and slit it back into place. This gives the exact same effect in away but just not quite.

Once I had this all sorted I was little stuck as to how to finish this card off. I choose the sentiment from the Itty Bitty Christmas Stamp Set which is a must have for this Christmas and next. It’s just adorable! Then I saw these fabulous sequins in the Snowflake Sequins - you heard correct Snow-flame-sequins. Take my money and give me 20 because these are cute.

Shining Example - Stampin’ Up! Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set

It’s been a long old week this week with lots of ups and down but we are here with the new week about to start. Which is always a positive and we will be going full steam ahead with the positive vibes. This weekend has been amazing with there being multiples projects that I love and just cannot wait to see.

In the theme of moving forward I wanted to share one project that I wasn’t over keen on and if I’m honest I’m still not happy with it. There are times when we all create cards we aren’t always 100% on but it’s important for you too see that I have these moments too and you are not along. This card wasn’t going right from half way in and I was tempted to give in but I kept a working with it.

The idea for this card was to have really muted neutral tones which I did and stuck too which is probably where I went wrong. In the process of making cards I tend to have a rough idea on the outcome and the style I want to go along with, however on my best cards it always changes along the way. I’m sure we all do this and it’s not just me.

On a final note I think I need to I need to lock this stamp set away for a little bit because I’ve used it a lot! I’m not apologetic as it’s an amazing set and on the last annual catalogue I was screaming for a large flower stamp and now I have it I need to use it.

I’m really enjoying being organised and being up to date, it give me an opportunity to create for fun and if I’m honest this is when I make the best cards I’m able to physically make! Promise me you’ll take an opportunity to sit back and enjoy doing what you love.

Magic of Christmas - Stampin’ Up! Holly Jolly Christmas Stamp Set

Oh my days. There am I to even start today with so much going on. It’s exciting though and I’m really excited for you to get your crafty mits and the good stuff!

I’m going to start with the most exciting part (in my opinion) of today, the official release of the Autumn/Winter Catalogue with a total of 8 brand new Product Suites. These are a a collection of products that work perfectly together, which can all be purchased under one item code. If you are making your Christmas cards this year, best way to get everything! Now I want you see the amazing items in the catalogue and for me to show you everything I love! Which is why I did a little walk through the catalogue and I hope you enjoy it and see how amazing it is!

Following the theme of the release of the Autumn/Winter Catalogue I wanted to share with you the card that I’ve issued out to all my lovely customers alongside their catalogue. I still have more here so please just shout if you want one! The card is created using the amazing Holly Jolly Christmas stamp, I adore the the super fun but traditional imagery in the stamp set.

I showed Sean this card thinking he’d love it as he’s a bit of a Christmas fairy. Well as you can imagine, I was wrong. All he said was “it’s a bit busy isn’t it?”. That was the idea behind the card, I love all the images in this stamp set so why not use as many as possible on one card? If you did want to tone this card back a little then you can stamp the image down in Crumb Cake!

My favourite part of this card has to be the centrepiece. I love the subtleness of Santa sitting in the background of our sentiment. Super graphic cards such as this is only one way which you can use this stamp set, it’s equally for simple cards that I’m sure you’ll be seeing very soon!

Stamping Society: Geometric - Stampin' Up! Nature's Beauty Stamp Set

It’s my favourite time of the month and I’m super excited for today’s post for multiple reasons but I’ll get to that later on. I’ve spent today busy recording and taking photos of future projects and I’m so excited for you all to see. While I’m itching to make some more I’ve had to say enough enough.

As it’s the 1st of the month that means I’m back today with the Stamping Society. These ladies I stamp with are so talented and I know you’ll love their projects.
