Selena Gomez Replaces Miley Cyrus in New Adam Sandler Film

Selena Gomez will replace Miley Cyrus as the voice of Dracula's daughter in the 3D animated film Hotel Transylvania.

The film directed by Genndy Tartakovsky additionally features the voices of Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg, Kevin James, Fran Drescher, David Koechner, Cee Lo Green, Steve Buscemi, Molly Shannon and David Spade.

In the film, Dracula (Adam Sandler), the owner of Hotel Transylvania, a five-star resort for monsters, invites the world's leading monsters to celebrate the 118th birthday of his daughter Mavis (Selena Gomez). The unexpected twist in the plot comes when young Jonathan (Andy Samberg), an ordinary traveler, ends up at the resort and Dracula must prevent Mavis from falling in love with him!

Earlier today, Miley tweeted her reason for opting out of the film.

"I really wanna work on my music this year! That's all :)"

Quite the reverse, Gomez wants to focus on films this year.

Early in January she said, "We're going to take a break from music. My band and and I are going to chill on that for a second. I'll be doing two films in the beginning of [2012], which I'm excited about. They are both different and things I've never played before and will be fun for me."

Gomez, 19, who is set to wrap the South American leg of her We Own the Night tour on February 11 in Montevideo in Uruguay, will next start filming for Spring Breakers in Florida.

The film directed by Harmony Korine (famous for his timeless 90's movie "Kids"), is about female college students who finance their spring vacation by ripping off a restaurant, only to end up behind bars, where they become involved with the person who posts their bail, an arms and drug runner. Actors Vanessa Hudgens, James Franco, and Emma Roberts are also in the cast.

Kareena Kapoor looked radiant and stately in a red Christian Dior pleated dress plugging her film 'Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu' at Oberoi Mall in Goregaon, Mumbai Thursday evening, February 9.

The 31-year-old star was at the event with Imran Khan, her co-star in the film who has lately been seen bearded and bulkier, his makeover for an upcoming project.

While Imran, 29, chose a sporty look - a black leather biker jacket atop a white tee and folded cuff jeans, Kareena wore a red dress symbolizing the spirit of Valentine's Day.

The floor length dress featured a low cut sweetheart neckline, short draped sleeves, matching fabric covered button detail on the side seams, and a full skirt.

We love the fact that Kareena doesn't go overboard with her accessories so as to let her natural beauty take focus. With her flowing dress taking center stage she passed completely on jewelry , accessorizing with just nude Gina heels with Swarovski studded heels.

Her glossy dark hair, styled sleek with a middle parting, framed her face and draped her shoulders.

Shimmering red lipstick complemented the color of her dress. Her eyes were done in metallic eyeshadow and a defined liner. A high shine red blush added a flush of winter pink and sculpted her face nicely.

With the release Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu, her first film of 2012, out of the way, Kareena will next get busy promoting Agent Vinod with co-star and beau Saif Ali Khan. The film is due for release on March 23.

Ritesh Deshmukh N Genelia Wed For a 3rd Time

We all know Ritesh Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza married twice in real life on February 3, first according to Hindu rites and then Christian rites. It turns out they married for a third time in reel life!

It was for their upcoming film 'Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya' in which they are romantically paired.

Taking a cue from their recent wedding, and the country wide interest in it, the film's producer, Kumar Taurani, tweaked the film's climax to show them getting married.

Explaining the tweak, Kumar Taurani says, "It's a romantic comedy, and what else can you expect a boy and girl in love to do, except get married in the end. But I'm sure the audience will love what we have done with their reel marriage."

According to Taurani, when he signed the two stars, he wasn't aware they are an item.

"We thought the script suited Riteish and Genelia perfectly. So, we first approached Riteish. When he agreed, I told him that only Genelia could do justice to the girl's part. She agreed too. We didn't sign them on as a real couple playing reel lovers."

After the two decided to marry, they immediately appraised Taurani of their intent.

"Riteish told me –'Besides our parents, you are the first one to know'. I was really touched," says Taurani.

Starring Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D'Souza, Tips Industries Ltd's Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya bows in theaters on February 24.

She said: "I'm not gay. If I was, I'd say: 'I love women!' That's why it drives me nuts. But I feel like even if I did say it, people would be like, 'you're just trying to do that to win the gay audience'."
Kelly, 29, admits she is confused by the public's obsession with her love life, but says she enjoys being a single lady.

While may would believe that George Clooney is planning to develop his relationship with Stacy Keibler, the actor is thinking along quite different lines: he dreams of an adoption family.

Luckily or not, the 50-year-old actor was only joking about it when he laid out his family plans in his Monday interview with The Insider. Maybe it was the event – the 84th Annual Academy Awards nominees luncheon in Beverly Hills – that set the actor into a jocular mood. Anyhow, he said he was going “to adopt very successful people.”

Clooney had already chosen the first daughter – or rather, confessed that he was eager to get on with his The Descendants relations with Shailene Woodley, the actress playing his very problematic teenage daughter. He believes her to be a “smart” young thing who is sure to make a name for herself and would be able to support him!

The Golden Globe Award winner just couldn’t stop lauding Woodley to the skies, drawing parallels with his cocker spaniel Einstein. He said he recognized the same house-training qualities that he came to appreciate a lot!

Clooney is one of the actors nominated for the best actor category at the 84th Annual Academy Awards, competing with Brad Pitt (Moneyball), Gary Oldman (Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy), Demian Bichir (A Better Life) and Jean Dujardin (The Artist). The AAA will come on air live on February 26 on ABC.

Reese Witherspoon looked gorgeous in a Miu Miu satin navy blue top and black pencil skirt at the LA premiere of 'This Means War' at Grauman's Chinese Theater, Hollywood on Wednesday, February 8, 2012.

The 35-year-old star's cropped bustier top had a plunging neckline that occasionally exposed the black lingerie underneath, but still didn't detract from her style statement; and heavy golden and silver metal embellishments. She paired her risque top with a classic black skirt ending above her knees.

Her black Christian Louboutin towering pumps set off her superbly toned legs. The gorgeous wedding ring hogged all the attention as the only jewel on her.

Reese's long blond hair, styled in light waves, was left down with her new blunt bangs framing her forehead.

She recently revealed that bangs are styled to cover a scar on the left side of her forehead from an accident last September.

"I was jogging and I got hit by a car. They said I am very hard-headed because I landed right on my head and I have a scar, hence my new hairdo" Reese told People magazine.

When it comes to make-up, Reese sticks with the rule - less is more. Her aqua blue eyes were accented with smudged liner and light blue eyeshadow. She wore petal pink lipstick and a matching hue blush.

Overall, it was an impressive and sexy red carpet look truly worthy of an American sweetheart.

Reese was joined at the premiere by director McG and co-stars Chelsea Handler, Chris Pine, Tom Hardy, Abigail Spencer, Laura Vandervoort and Angela Bassett.

Other celebrities attending the film's screening included Kristin Cavallari, Sophia Bush, Whitney Cummings, Zachary Gordon, and Ashley Jones.

The McG directed action romance is a story of two CIA operatives (Chris Pine and Tom Hardy) who are inseparable partners and best friends until they fall for the same woman Lauren, played by Reese Witherspoon.

Kareena Kapoor flaunts some serious curves in this promotional video of Agent Vinod, curves that we bet you thought she didn't have!

The sets for the Mujra number, Dil Mera Muft Ka, in the video are as sumptuous as Kareena's decolletage. The lustful music ain't bad either.

At just 45 sec, the promotional video is tortuously short. Not long enough to feast your eyes on the goods that Kareena so readily flaunts in the film produced by beau Saif Ali Khan's Illuminati Films.

But don't despair! Agent Vinod Releases in theaters on March 23 so it's just a feast postponed.

Deepika Padukone Ruffles Feathers

Deepika Padukone's decision to walkout of Race 2 after shooting six days for the film has ruffled feathers in the male dominated film industry.

Race 2 producer Ramesh Taurani for one is decidedly unhappy.

"I have been a part of the Hindi cinema industry for 25 years. I have made several blockbusters. I have worked with famous actresses like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Vidya Balan and Kareena Kapoor. But I have never faced a situation like this before," says Taurani. [via Mumbai Mirror]

Taurani's mention of just female stars is interesting. It sounds almost as if he wouldn't have had a problem if Saif Ali Khan, John Abraham, Anil Kapoor or Sanjay Dutt - had opted out of the film.

According to Taurani, Deepika dumped Race 2 in favor of a Hollywood project, which is thoroughly unprofessional. He adds that the film's schedule was earlier tweaked to accommodate Deepika.

Taurani is particularly aggravated by Deepika's lack of contrition.

He says, "We tried to reason it out with her. But she refused to even listen. Forget about anything else, she did not even apologize for her action. She seems to have no remorse," the producer says.

A source from Deepika's camp has rubbished Taurani's allegation.

The source tells the Mumbai Mirror, "Constant delays are the reason Deepika's can't do Race 2. When the first delay happened, she adjusted her dates and shot for two days. But then again, she was informed that the dates were being changed. She would have liked to do the film but she couldn't accommodate the new set of dates. She has conveyed her apologies to Ramesh Taurani. She had liked the script but unfortunately is not being able to juggle her dates any longer."

Kate, 30, an art history major, was attending a special preview of artist Lucian Freud's exhibition of paintings.

The future queen made an effortless and cozy winter style statement in the fitted and flared dress.

Her knee length retro inspired dress featured an oversized shawl collar, elbow length sleeves, double breasted bodice and flared umbrella skirt.

She paired her dress with sheer nude tights and a slim black belt accentuating her slim waist.

She kept her accessories elegant and modern: Jimmy Choo towering pumps, black pocketbook clutch, drop earrings, Asprey 167 Button Pendant, and a diamond bracelet.

Her dark brown hair looked glossier than ever before, styled with an off center parting and perfect bottom curls, and left down on her shoulders.

She wore her signature makeup - natural pink lipstick and smudged kohl liner on the eyes. The freezing cold temperatures made her cheeks look pretty pink.

Here is a downer. Catherine fans desirous of emulating her style are out of luck as the low cost label went out of business in 2011.

But then...Catherine's patronage of the defunct label could well trigger a groundswell of clamor for the label's resurrection. You can never say never.

On January 5 it was announced that the Duchess of Cambridge would take on four charity patronages and The National Portrait Gallery is one of them. Other three include Patron of Action on Addiction, Royal Patron of East Anglia's Children's Hospices and Royal Patron of The Art Room.

Krrish 3 Priyanka Chopra Wraps Hyderabad Schedule

Priyanka Chopra wrapped a schedule of Krrish 3 in Hyderabad on February 9, before heading to the Berlin Film Festival where Don 2 is scheduled to be screened.

"Last shoot day of this schedule for krrish 3!! Will miss the film..but be back soon..for now..bye bye hot Hydrabad..hello freezing Berlin!" Priyanka Tweeted early morning February 9.

Priyanka started filming in Hyderabad on January 30, a day after Hrithik Roshan arrived on set.

Day 1 of the schedule was canceled due to a bandh in the city giving the Krrish 3 team time to hone their cricket skill with an impromptu match. (When will this nation realize that there are better things to do than play cricket, or watch it on TV?)

In Krrish 3, Priyanka reprises her role as a journalist.

A huge set replicating Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex has been built at Ramoji Film City at a cost of Rs 3 crore for Krissh 3.

On Monday, February 6, Priyanka hung out with her Barfee co-star Ileana D'Souza, putting to rest rumors that the two were not getting along well.

"Hung out with ileana yest..she was shooting next door,had such a good time in barfi..all the kids on my set were going crazy seeing her!cute"

In addtional news about Krrish 3, Rekha will be seen in a cameo. She played Hrithik's grandmother in Krrish.

Vivek Oberoi plays a villain in the film. The name of his character has been revealed - Kaal, also the title of his 2005 horror film.

Shah Rukh Khan Mentoring Katrina Kaif as Yash Chopra Leading Lady

You may not think Katrina Kaif fits the mold of a leading lady in a Yash Chopra romance, but don't place your bets just yet because Shah Rukh Khan has been mentoring her, helping her get into the groove.

Katrina doesn't have the reputation of past Yash Chopra heroines such as Kajol, Juhi Chawla, Madhuri Dixit and Preity Zinta, but that could well be because her first Yash Chopra film has not yet been released!

Katrina, who is currently in Cuba filming for Ek Tha Tiger with Salman Khan, filmed a five day schedule for Yash Chopra's upcoming untitled romance before leaving.

She tells the Mumbai Mirror, "I shot with Shah Rukh for five days before my Ek Tha tiger schedule in Cuba. We had never worked before. And I tend to be a bit reserved on the sets. Shah Rukh has shot several times with Yashji. This is my first. But I was made to feel at home from Day 1. Shah Rukh is very helpful. He is helping me understand my character better."

Once she wraps Ek Tha Tiger, Katrina, 27, plans to immerse herself in Yash Chopra's first directorial venture in eight years, a film that he describes as being "classic in its look but contemporary in its language."

At the time of announcing the film Yash Chopra had said that he would want to give Shah Rukh yet another memorable romantic film and present the beautiful Katrina Kaif in a way she has never been seen before.

Katrina recently declined Soundarya R. Ashwin's Tamil film, Kochadaiyaan with Soundarya's dad and South super star Rajnikanth. The role has now gone to Deepika Padukone.

Katrina explains why she can not take on any new films at this point.

"I can't take up any other assignment till this is over. I would be doing injustice to this film if I did. It is best that I surrender completely to this film. I can feel it will be special."

Fans are giving Madonna all their luvin! Pre-orders for the Material Girl’s forthcoming 12th studio album, M.D.N.A., have made it to No. 1 in 50 countries. The disc has set the record for the largest one-day pre-order in iTunes history.

And while we’re counting, it appears the digital can barely keep up with Her Madgesty. She currently has six songs on the iTunes singles chart!

The Nicki Minaj-assisted “Give Me All Your Luvin” sits at No. 7. The LMFAO remix of the same song has charted at No. 130!

Of course, a host of old faves are being downloaded like hot cakes. Coming in at No. 17 is “Like a Prayer.” Madge classics “Vogue” and “Music” — performed during Sunday’s record-setting Super Bowl Show — are taking up residence in the Top 300!!

Symone Black Faints Off Stage on American Idol

Wow — that was some TV drama on American Idol last night. Did you see Symone Black faint and fall off of the stage as the semi-finalists headed into Hollywood Week?

The young Idol hopeful fell from the stage and went crashing to the ground while being quizzed by the judges over her performance. Black, 16, appeared to wobble on her feet while answering a question from judge Randy Jackson, following her performance of Otis Redding’s ’60s hit “Sitting on the Dock of the Bay.”

“I wanted to reach out to an older crowd,” she told the judges, explaining her song choice.

“Are you saying that we’re older?” Jackson challenged her.

As Symone answered “No,” she stumbled forward and fell from the stage.

The audience and the three judges, including Jennifer Lopez and Steve Tyler, watched in shock as medics ran to help the teen, who was lying on the floor but still conscious.

It isn’t clear if Symone fainted or tripped from the stage. It’s also not known if she was badly injured.

Fox aired the scene as a cliffhanger ending to this week’s episode. Fans will have to wait until Thursday’s follow-up broadcast to learn the songstress’ fate.

Adam Levine Launches Record Label

He’s got the moves like a music mogul! The Voice mentor Adam Levine has announced that he is launching his own record label — 222 Records!

The imprint’s first release will be Matthew Morrison’s upcoming sophomore album. The Glee star released his self-titled debut album last summer, which included the single “Summer Rain” and duets with Sting, Gwyneth Paltrow and Sir Elton John.

Morrison said in a statement Thursday:

“I am excited to be working on my next album with such an incredible singer, writer and producer as Adam Levine. Adam and I share the same vision as we begin working on my record together.”

The Voice mentor chimed in:

“Starting my own label has been a longtime goal of mine and I am thrilled to be at the point in my career where it is finally happening. I am excited for everyone to hear Matthew’s forthcoming album. Great things are in store for him with this release.”

Halle Berry Heading Back to Court

Academy award winner, Halle Berry, is looking to make a big move and wants to take her daughter Nahla with her.

According to documents, obtained by TMZ, Halle is requesting a custody hearing. Insiders say that Gabriel Aubry, Nahla’s father, is livid and will block the move. Halle recently became engaged to long-time boyfriend, Olivier Martinez and the trio will be living together, if the move is approved by the courts.

Gabriel and Halle have already been in some knock-down drag-out custody fights, over their daughter. This one could get interesting. Other sources are telling TMZ, that Halle is prepared to claim she and Nahla will be safer in Europe, far away from Halle’s stalker.

New York City was filled with stars on Wednesday, February 7, 2012 when an AMFAR event kicked off Fashion Week. In attendance at the AIDS charity fete were tons of famous faces, including Lindsay Lohan who attended as a strung out trainwreck. The “much too twenty five years young to look that BLASTED old” former actress, singer, and model who once radiated beauty from every pore is a mere shadow of what she used to be. Somebody needs to get her off the junk soon. That girl is going to kill herself.

The good news is the event raised over $1.4 million for AIDS Research and lots of other celebrities were also at the Cipriani Wall Street gala. Among the guests: Sarah Jessica Parker (who hosted the the event), Heidi Klum, Woody Allen, Julianne Moore, Jennifer Hudson, Padma Lakshmi, Kenneth Cole, Janelle Monae, Cindy Crawford, Roberto Cavalli, and rapper Theophilius London.

Naomi Watts Cast as Princess Diana

Just call her the People’s Princess! Actress Naomi Watts has been cast as Princess Diana in Caught in Flight — a biopic following the beloved royal’s last two years life.

The movie is believed to be the first feature film about the Princess of Wales, whose death in a paparazzi-influenced Paris car crash in 1997 has been chronicled in several U.S. television movies.

Director Oliver Hirschbiegel is scheduled to start shooting Caught in Flight in England this year, according to The Hollywood Reporter. is confident the British-born, Australian-raised Watts will be able to capture “the warmth, humanity and empathy of such a global icon as Princess Diana.”

In a statement Thursday, Naomi said:

“It is such an honor to be able to play this iconic role — Princess Diana was loved across the world and I look forward to rising to the challenge of playing her on screen.”

Naomi, 43, is also preparing to play another blond icon — Marilyn Monroe. The starlet has reportedly been cast as the legendary bombshell in Blonde, based on the book by Joyce Carol Oates.

Caught in Flight is one of three British films about the English princess that will be produced in the next year. Keira Knightley and Scarlett Johansson have reportedly been linked to another biopic, Diana. Charlize Theron is being courted to play Princess Diana in a film adaptation of Ken Wharfe’s book, Diana: Closely Guarded Secret.

Lady Gaga has revealed the dark gothic theme for her next world tour, The Born This Way Ball.

The popstar leaked her tour poster online via Twitter after drinking “too much wine”. The image shows Gaga in typical creative fashion, wearing a dress shaped like a triangular piano, accompanied by four admiring men in sharp suits, standing under part of a castle complete with turrets, while an image of her head floats mystically in the dark clouds.

The 2012-2013 tour to celebrate her second album sees The Marry The Night singer add a darker twist to the famously outlandish stage performances of her previous Monster Ball tour, set in modern-day New York City.

Along with debuting the tour poster, the 2012 Grammy performer has also treated her millions of fans to a first look at an intricate sketch.

It reveals the Born This Way Ball stage will take the form of a gothic castle, complete with viewing towers, crucifix-esque carvings, with what looks like a city in the background, and a catwalk that will allow her to wander through the middle of her audience.

Probably the thinnest of them all, model Ioana Spangenberg goes by the moniker “Human hourglass” that she acquired for her waistline measuring a meager 20 inches (a little bigger than a compact disk!). The skinny woman says that she never skips her meals – moreover, she doesn’t think twice about gobbling some junk food in between meals!Nobody believes her when she says so, complains Spangenberg – but it’s true, it’s three solid meals a day for her. “I snack on chocolate and crisps all the time,” she further confesses.

The secret is in her stomach, reveals the 30-year-old thinny to the U.K. Sun. It is small and it doesn’t allow her to exceed a proper portion. “If I eat too much, I feel sick,” she shares.

Spangenberg was born in Romania arriving over 7 lbs weight, and her figure had been causing her some consternation at first. Her The Sun reminiscences tell that in Romania a skinny girl is assumed to come from a poor family – so she felt excluded from social life, staying at home and noshing chocolate bars in the hope of filling up while her fuller-waisted friends were out having fun.

So the model ended up in Germany where she joined the man who appreciated her as she was and posted her photos online. They have been married for six years now, and Spangenberg is ever grateful to her man who “encouraged me to celebrate my body,” as she put it.

The model adds that she is trying to put on some fat – though she feels comfortable in her own body, she is aware that she looks pretty emaciated to many. So she feeds lavishly on pizza and kebabs.

Meanwhile her husband’s high opinion of her body is shared by more than 2 million YouTube viewers, and the number of people wishing to see the video of Spangenberg in a miniskirt is growing by the hour.

The makers have already recovered Rs 15 crore through satellite rights, Rs 6 crore through music.The romantic-comedy releases on February 10.

From her first appearance in Ms. Marvel #16, the lithe, azure goddess that is Raven ‘Mystique’ Darkholme has enjoyed a special place in the pantheon of sizzlin’ supervillainy. Possessing fearsome skills in combat, acrobatic dexterity and the power to endlessly shape-shift, Mystique is certainly a mutant who can hold her own. Indeed, she is put to good use at different times to spy on, infiltrate and assassinate various people who stand in her and the behelmeted Magneto’s way. She sports what might also be the best costume ever devised (for a hot movie supervillain, anyway), and you can’t deny that Mystique pulls off the blue skin look far better than Papa Smurf ever did. According to ComicBookHotties.com: “To play Mystique, every day Rebecca had to start out nude, and then two female make-up artists would apply blue body paint, and other stick-on parts, for 8 hours a day.” No wonder X-Men was a blockbuster hit. If anybody wants me, I’ll be back at school learning to be a make-up artist.

This feline femme fatale has been extant since the very earliest days of Batman’s crime fighting career, and it’s pretty easy to see why she’s been worth keeping around. With her skintight catsuit and seductive purr, Michelle Pfeiffer’s puissant pussycat makes even the Dark Knight a-throbbing. Not bad for a 70-year-old. Originally named Selina Kyle – a bedraggled and introvert secretary – Pfeiffer’s character is transformed into Catwoman after being thrown out of a lofty office window in 1992′s Batman Returns. She is then somehow revived by a host of feral cats and goes home to sew a costume together before exacting sexy revenge. Meow!
