The album release is getting close and we are very excited! The CD Release Party is Dec 19th at The Blinkin’ Lincoln in Manayunk, PA. In the mean time we wanted to share some more info about it with you. The album is titled Thunder In The Valley and will be released on Uncle Nicky Records. Below is the album cover and track list. The album art was designed by Teil Wise and the inside features photography from Lisa Schaffer.

Vinyl baby!

While we are waiting patiently for the release of our full length CD on Dec. 19th we have a little surprise for you. Actually it’s not that little, it’s bigger than a CD, it’s a 7in record! Our friend Colin Helb just started up Uncle Nicky Records and the first release is a 7in vinyl with two songs, Mason Porter – A Little Bit of Light and Chris Kasper – Up In My Head. We totally excited to have some vinyl and to be part of Uncle Nicky. For now we have them for sale at shows. Supplies are limited so get yours soon. The Folk Parade was amazing! Much thanks to Barbara and Mike of the Spinning Leaves for putting it together and to all the musicians who came together in a way only we can do it. Our music community is truly one of a kind. And Lisa Schaffer who is always there to capture the moment with her camera.

Below are some pictures from our set, plus one from the encore. We had quite a few people on stage with us: Anna, Bea, and Cass Sadler; Ross Bellenoit, Allison Polans, Barbara Gettes and Mike Baker, and some more folks too I think for our last sing-along. Thanks to all,on stage and off, for sharing those songs with us.

We’re just a few weeks away from what promises to be one of the best nights of music this year. Its happening on Tuesday Oct. 13th downstairs at the World Cafe Live and it’s called Philly Folk Parade. The line up is awesome: Mason Porter, Birdie Busch, Cowmuddy, Andrew Lipke, Sisters 3, Ross Bellenoit’s Little Rolling Thunder, and Wes Mattheu and The New Way Down. The Weasel and The Worm Fest

This event is going to sell out. If you planning on coming late you may not get in. So plan on coming early. Tickets only available at gate. We play at 2:45…AM. Then we will most likely be involved in some sort of jam that will go to sunrise and beyond.

Saturday night in West Chester we’ll be joining forces with one of towns most well know bands The Sermon for a great night of music at the Chester County Historical Society. We’ve been friends with these guys forever but never managed to play a show together until now. They are a great band and we are totally excited for the show.

Show is at 7:30 plus it is FREE and it is BYOB!

The venue is located at 225 N. High Street. West Chester, PA.
